Youtube daily report May 23 2018

NATHANIEL HALPERN: The aesthetic's still is--

in this no time place, the early '60s being a reference point.

JEMAINE CLEMENT: The show plays with time a lot.

MAN: You got it?

JEMAINE CLEMENT: This kind of period-less clothes

where you don't know whether it's the '80s, the '90s,

the '60s, or now, it helps fool the audience just for a second.

CAMERA ASSISTANT: See on the marker.

[SLATE CLAPS]

BILL IRWIN: Unlike me, Bill Irwin, the actor,

Cary Loudermilk-- the character I

play-- is a very natty dresser.

So I don't know anything about clothes except as I

learned them via Bob Blackman.

Oliver.

ROBERT BLACKMAN: I've broadened Cary with a C's

palette a little bit.

And we've changed up Kerry with a K's outfit.

But since she's inside of him, she's had

one outfit for the entire year.

Hey, boys.

NAVID NAGHIBAN: Bob Blackman, when I came in, he says,

oh, I have some stuff for you that you have to see.

When I put my suits on, the shirts

touches in so much detail and--

and just makes you feel the character.

It was like I was Farouk.

Moi.

[NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]

AMBER MIDTHUNDER: A great part of this show

is that the physical appearance is a great reflection

of the internal state.

Back to my life!

Right?

AUBREY PLAZA: Lenny is a toy.

[NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]

Her look is kind of dictated by the shadow king.

Bathing suits.

It's kind of like she's being used and abused.

DAN STEVENS: I'm kind of leaning towards a British, punky vibe

with David.

So it was a kind of Sid Vicious model.

ROBERT BLACKMAN: It's really full out.

Crop pants, docs, crazy t-shirts.

DAN STEVENS: He's one of the punkier mutants, I think.

JEAN SMART: Melanie just doesn't have polish this year.

She's going for comfort, which I totally identify with.

Because we see her a lot just in her room,

whereas last year, she was still trying to be the woman--

Melanie.

JEAN SMART: --her husband fell in love with.

JEREMIE HARRIS: I feel like I have

the greatest wardrobe on TV.

I'm always in something really snazzy and colorful.

ROBERT BLACKMAN: It's really hard with Jeremie

not to make him look dapper.

He's just slick.

RACHEL KELLER: Black was really important for me

as a protective barrier.

Her skin is such an important part

of what makes her who she is, a young woman

who went through a breakup.

How would she mature her look?

ROBERT BLACKMAN: The black is there,

and we moved her a little bit further into other silhouettes.

A lot more orange, orange and yellow.

Are you sure it was me?

ROBERT BLACKMAN: I refer to my first season,

my year of being Legionized.

You're just supposed to create with all

the most unusual imagery, rather than the usual imagery.

And that's it.

Maybe that was a dream, huh?

ROBERT BLACKMAN: You will be stunned by the visual beauty.

Tomi Lahren Attacked At Restaurant, Gets Unexpected Response - Duration: 3:56.

Tomi Lahren Attacked At Restaurant, Gets Unexpected Response.

Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren was the victim of an assault at a Minneapolis restaurant,

on Sunday when she was having brunch with her mother Trudy.

However, the response that came after the assault was completely unexpected.

The video showed Lahren and her mother leaving the UNION Restaurant in downtown Minneapolis,

when she passed by the table of a group of patrons who did not like her politics.

A woman at the table flung a cup of water in Lahren's face before other customers

at the restaurant started yelling hateful rhetoric at her.

"F*** that b***h!

F*** that h**!

Racist-a** b***h!" one man yelled at Lahren.

"Why you even out here?" he asked.

Devan Madison was a witness to the incident and said that his friend was Lahren's server.

"My friend told me she [Tomi] was extremely rude and had a big attitude."

The bouncer, Jeremy Jackson, explained what happened when he went to handle the incident.

He said that the Fox News personality noticed that a group at the next table was "scowling

at her," and as she walked past their table as she was leaving, she said, "Just another

day in the life."

According to Jackson, that is what sent the woman over the edge and into attack mode.

"I said [to Tomi] 'I'd like to separate you all if can please,'" Jackson said

he told Lahren, to which she responded, "You're just going to kick me out for them throwing

water?

Unbelievable."

Lahren appeared on "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday to address the incident.

"This was something that was embarrassing for me and embarrassing for my family.

At the end of the day, I'm a person too.

And I do get humiliated and embarrassed just like anyone else," she said.

"But I'm tough, my family's tough.

We can handle it."

"Unfortunately there was a group of people probably around my age that thought it would

be funny to throw water at me and then start chanting profanity and, again, not something

that I'm not used to but really disheartening," she said.

Lahren said that she gets that there are disagreements on politics but that attacking someone is

not the way to handle it.

"It's really disheartening.

But again, I'm tough, I can handle it," she said.

She acknowledged that there were some who are normally opponents of hers that have come

to her defense, among them comedian Kathy Griffin.

"There are people that normally detest me, and they're coming to my defense, at least

on this incident," she said.

"So maybe moving forward, those that thought it was funny to throw water at me or antagonize

others with my viewpoints, maybe they'll see that's not the cool thing to do."

"I couldn't disagree more with @TomiLahren, but I don't think it's cool to resort

to physical actions to make your point," Griffin said.

"The first amendment is a beautiful thing – use it."

Andy Lassner, the executive director of "The Ellen Show," was another.

"Been thinking about it.

I know many will disagree, but here's how I feel.

I detest @TomiLahren.

I think she's terrible.

I think she's racist.

I think her shtick is dumb.

However, I don't think throwing a drink in her face is something to be celebrated.

It crosses the line," he said.

One supporter who was not a surprise was President Donald Trump who watched Lahren on "Fox

& Friends."

"Everybody is with Tomi Lahren, a truly outstanding and respected young woman!"

he said.

No matter who you disagree with on politics, be it Lahren or Griffin, it is never appropriate

to physically attack that person.

As Griffin noted, that is why we have a First Amendment.

Use it.

What do you think about this?

Hunting Pennies - Record Breaking Wheat Penny Harvest! - Duration: 13:30.

Hey everyone its Rob with Rob finds treasure and if you watched my last half dollar

hunt where I think I found in 1974 d double die obverse the bank had given away

one of my half dollar boxes and gave me a penny box kind of as a good favor if

you will so I opened this box up and you know what it looks like a pretty solid

box here guys we've got a lot of copper and more importantly the very first roll

of the box see if I can get us in some light here we've got a wheat cent ender!

that's crazy now I'm gonna flip them around so I'll be checking these rolls

as I hunt through but the first roll we're gonna go into today is the one

with the wheat cent ender looks like it's pretty good wheat cent here as far as

it's probably gonna be newer since it looks like it's in great shape anyway

let's get the hunting got that first roll open we got that wheat sitting here

so let's take a look at it together

yeah there's I can see pretty new a 1953 d but you know what first roll first

coin of the first roll it's a wheat cent roll number five got a second wheat cent

here is facing me 1945 s we'll take it all this one of the box so far second we

D in the first five rolls and we still got more to look through roll number six

splayed out the roll and I see a wheat cent right here let's take a look

together that looks pretty new let's see what it

is a 55 d we'll take it third wheat cent of the box very next roll, roll number

seven laid them out and it fell funny but we got a wheat cent back here looks

pretty new as well good detail in those ears another 55 D I'll take it we're

not complaining that's for Wheaties and the first seven

rolls okay guys very next roll again roll

number eight splayed them out and got another wheat

cent it's good to see three or four in a row again good detail 48 filly we'll

take it alright that is now our fifth wheat sent in the first eight rolls off

to a really good start you guys know my records only 15 so

anything north of 10 is awesome but we got a chance here to to break a record

if we keep this pace up 10th roll the box

another wheat cent here 1942 d a little bit of rough shape

but you know what it's some 40s wheatie it's our oldest of the box and it

already makes six half a dozen to the first ten rolls holy cow what a big time

average here I highly doubt that will maintain but that would be 30 wheat

cents if we had that same average going through the rest of this box let's keep

looking we roll number 15 guys and I can't see

what the date is looks like it's a 39 maybe but it looks like an old wheat cent

here let's take a look at the back first yep definitely a wheat cent 1939

Philadelphia I will take it just as a fYI I'm still I have every single wheat

cent from 1939 and up and I'm missing a few in the 30s and a few of the 20s and

then a lot of key dates prior to that but still nice seeing a 30s wheatie in

here and tonight he's already seeing 7 out of the first 15 rolls ok

17th roll the box and I laid them out and I see a wheat cent back here let's

see what it looks like which one pretty good could be 30s or 40s I think that's

a 37

19:37 we will take it another 330s of pre 40s wheatie and guys i don't know

what looks like i have a 36 here I knew that looked funny

1936 holy cow so we've got in this box so far at least

pre 40s a 36 or 37 and a 39 and more importantly that's three six nine wheat

cents and the first 17 rolls let's keep looking

roll 22 guys laid them out again and that looks like an old wheat cent right

there let's take a look holy cow that's worn very flat hopefully there's a date

there is I think it's 1926

I think it's 1926 alright guys it's got some damage so it's hard to tell but I

think it's a 1916 I put it under my microscope you let me know what you

think that's looking like a 1916 you can see the one has been pushed to the side

and then someone pounded a hole right where it would being something separated

it I'm thinking it's a 1916 I it would be very hard to see if that's a - it

doesn't have the shape of a - and I it doesn't have a shape of a three either

so I'm thinking it's a 1916 with some damage what are your thoughts my opinion

1916 Philadelphia we'd said Wow 102 year old penny find god I love it

we'll take it so that's wheat cent number 10 and what a dandy so now we have four

pre-40s 3 in the 40s and 3 in the 50s good assortment of wheat sense in this box

this box could yield some more old ones we've got 10 wheat cents in the first 22

rolls and seven of them are pre 50s and for from our pre 40s let's get back to

the hunt alright guys roll 24 the last roll had a

lot of 2018 DS in it and this roll looks like it's bought to have a lot of them

as well but I bring in because look at this is that a King George Canadian

let's look at the date on it 1945 it is

beautiful my first Canadian penny of the box and

it's gonna be a King George unbelievable 1945 I love finding King George pennies

in here all right roll 26 got a wheat cent facing me think it's at 58 1958 pretty

good shape we'll take it newest wheat cent of the box fourth from the

50s let's keep looking roll 28 got our 12th wheat cent of the box

1957 d dinged up on the top but you know what

still our 12th wheat cent - 5 from the 50s 3 from the 40s three from the 30s and the

1916 well let's keep looking three away from

tying our record alright guys just grabbed roll 31 and look at this another

wheat cent ender so that's two of the box let's crack it open and see what

year it is as well scratched up pretty good 1957 d we'll take it because that

is wheat cent number thirteen and we're two off our record rolll 36 got another

wheat cent here and it looks like it's another 30s coin 1939 we'll take it

that's our fourth from the 30s awesome let's keep looking

we're one away from tying our record wheat cents in a box next roll, roll

37 guys and we're gonna tie our record with the 15 wheat cents and this back

looks old yeah maybe not as old as I thought let's see though nope 1956 D

just worn pretty well and the colorations through me off but we'll take it

cuz that makes fifteen wheat cents I've now tied my record anything else

we'll be setting new records so let's keep looking

same roll got another wheat cent 1956 d again little better shape we'll take it

wheat cent number 16 alright let's keep looking roll number 40 guys the back

of an old wheat cent here or at least one that's trashed pretty good said 1940

to 1942 d pretty beat-up but you know what wheat cent number 17 and

forth from the 40s roll 42 guys we're gonna have wheat cent number 18 right

here 1945 Philadelphia you I love it another 40s coin that makes

five in the 40s 18 wheatie so far we might hit 20 that would be awesome let's keep

looking roll 44 guys another wheat cent this

would be number 19 I'm telling you I'm getting a lot of old looking ones in

this box this looks pretty old too but it's a 42 d hey you know what I'll take

it it's another 40s wheatie

and it's wheat cent number 19 one more away from 20 so let's keep looking roll

45 wheat cent number 20 1958 d awesome 20 wheat cents roll 47 guys and I splayed

them out and it looks like I got a wheat cent here and it looks like an old edge

there so let's grab the wheat cent for sure alright

1958 D wheat cent 21 is this one yep

1949 D we'll take it wheat cent 22 holy cow man we might get 25 roll 49 odd

color looks like a Canadian 1971 we'll take it second Canadian to the box

well the last four all the box guys and we found another wheat cent here a 1958

pretty good shape we'll take it wheat cent 23 I'll run

through these real quick since I got you here in case there's another one might

as well uncover it together I don't think so let me get you around up here

in a second alright everyone finished that box of pennies got a boatload of

copper a pretty good amount of 2018 we ended up with 15 2009 s we got two

Canadians a 45 King George and a 71. 3 59s one's in pretty good shape

23 wheat cents! I won't go through all the 50s but

we'll go at the 40s for now we ended up finding a 42 d a 42 d a 42 d 45 d 48

Philly 45 plane 49 Denver in the 30s we got a 36 Philly at 37 Philly and - 39

Phillies and then we also got a 1916 marked up though but 102 year-old wheat

cent and then finally I found a pretty nice 1974 D as well at the end of the

day I had my record wheat cent hunt 23 wheat cents! I have never broken 15 so

that's an awesome score for me especially since this box right here was

a toss in since they forgot my other half dollar box if I'm gonna find 23

wheat cents including 102 year old one in toss in boxes I might play the Mercy

card more often at the end of the day I hope you enjoyed the home with me guys

it was super fun for me best wheat cent box ever please give me a thumbs up and as

always thanks for watching

Melania's Office Just Released Sudden Unexpected Announcement Today Nobody Saw Coming - Duration: 4:52.

Melania's Office Just Released Sudden Unexpected Announcement Today Nobody Saw Coming.

Since Melania Trump has returned from the hospital, she's remained mostly out of sight

and relatively quiet during her home recovery time.

The privacy has been important to her progress and she's happy to be back with her family.

Now, four days since returning to the White House, her office has released a sudden unexpected

announcement on her behalf that's taking the country by complete surprise.

There's been no shortage of insults, accusations, and attacks on our incredible first lady.

Even though her hospital stay liberals didn't give it a break.

In fact, it gave them more material to turn up the insults, as we saw during that week

she was out.

However, now, she's come under scrutiny once again for a new reason that's required

an immediate response from her spokesperson.

This has since resulted in the most unlikely event that's difficult to believe.

The liberal left has a very difficult time believing that a woman can be both incredibly

beautiful and intelligent.

Melania is both of these things and also exceptionally articulate.

When she gives a speech, she's taunted by leftists for either her accent or for allegedly

plagiarising a speech she copied from the Obamas.

The assertion seems to be that she's not as good as the former first lady, so she just

repeats what they did to claim as her own.

However, this latest accusation has come up a couple times, but the latest attack on her

for this was a little different and even more depraved.

US Weekly reports: Melania Trump is facing a second bout of plagiarism

claims.

After announcing her new children-focused campaign, Be Best, on Monday, May 7, the first

lady was accused of pulling the text and graphics in the initiative's promotional booklet

from one published under former president Barack Obama's administration.

Trump's White House communications director, Stephanie Grisham, responded in a statement

released via Twitter on Tuesday, May 8.

"Yesterday, first lady Melania Trump unveiled Be Best, her initiative meant to support children

and the many issues they are facing today.

After giving a strong speech that was met with a standing ovation and positive feedback,

the focus from opposition media has been on an educational booklet, 'Talking With Kids

About Being Online,' produced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in 2009," Grisham

began.

"Mrs. Trump agreed to add Be Best branding and distribute the booklet in an effort to

use her platform to amplify the positive message within," the statement continued.

"As she said in yesterday's speech, she is going to use Be Best to promote people

and organizations to encourage conversation and replication, and helping the FTC distribute

this booklet is just one small example."

Grisham went on to slam the "baseless accusations" made about the former model and her initiative.

"Our office will continue to focus on helping children and I encourage members of the media

to attempt to Be Best in their own professions and focus on some of the children and programs

Mrs. Trump highlighted in her remarks yesterday," the statement concluded.

The claims were in fact so baseless that even the super liberal fact-checking site, Snopes,

couldn't even deny it.

This remarkable moment of truth and validation from the seemingly biased site was certainly

not something anyone saw coming.

According to Snopes, the "Claim" was as follows: Melania Trump plagiarized a document

from the Federal Trade Commission for her "Be Best" campaign.

After fact checking it, this is what Snopes concluded:

What's True: A document published by the FTC in 2014 was

briefly presented on the White House website as a pamphlet by "by First Lady Melania

Trump and the Federal Trade Commission,."

What's False: Melania Trump did not claim she had written

the pamphlet herself, and she contributed an introduction to a slightly revised version

of the booklet.

The FTC was always credited for the creation of the booklet and supported its inclusion

in the First Lady's "Be Best" campaign.

It's ironic when even the most liberal of sources who have been frequently accused of

making conservatives and conservatives news stories look bad for their own gain, can't

even twist this claim to find truth in it.

What also seems evident in this instance is that leftist detractors will stop at nothing

to demolish the reputation of our first lady and the current president.

They will either lie or otherwise misrepresent the truth and expect not to be questioned

or called out for it because they feel they are above their own rules.

what do you think about this?

„Kvůli důchodci to nebylo

Ale nechci se o tom teď bavit, jsem na dovolené v Maďarsku. Účet se mi podaří obnovit," řekl Mike redakci eXtra

cz.

A sledovanost mají zaručeně slušnou.

as I hunt through but the first roll we're gonna go into today is the one

with the wheat cent ender looks like it's pretty good wheat cent here as far as

it's probably gonna be newer since it looks like it's in great shape anyway

let's get the hunting got that first roll open we got that wheat sitting here

so let's take a look at it together

yeah there's I can see pretty new a 1953 d but you know what first roll first

coin of the first roll it's a wheat cent roll number five got a second wheat cent

here is facing me 1945 s we'll take it all this one of the box so far second we

Sadzenie i uprawa mandarynek:Umieść nasiona mandarynek w ziemi (mieszanina torfu i piasku, zmieszanych w proporcji 1:1).

Komentarz

What is the Passive Voice? 😅 English Grammar Lesson - Duration: 14:30.

Hello I'm Emma from mmmEnglish!

This lesson is at the top of my request list.

So many of you have been asking me for a lesson

about the passive voice

so I'm glad that I finally got it ready for you.

Now, this can be a really confusing grammar

structure in English.

Lots of my students ask

"What's the point of the passive voice?

Is it really that important?"

Yes!

Understanding the passive voice is important.

In this lesson, you'll learn

what it looks like, why it's useful

and you'll practise using it with me.

The passive voice is used often

by native English speakers.

It's a mistake to think that it's only used

in formal speech.

It's also used informally, quite a bit!

So stay with me through this entire lesson,

keep focused

it's not that long.

Before we keep going, a quick little reminder to join

the mmmEnglish grammar challenge.

You'll get to practise the 10 most common grammar

mistakes that English learners make

and learn how to avoid them with me.

And if you join and complete the challenge by

by the end of May,

you could win one of the many, many prizes

that we've got going on.

So why should you use the passive voice?

Well there are times when you don't want to say who

or what did the action.

Maybe you're trying to avoid responsibility

for something you did

or you don't want to get your mate into trouble

or maybe you don't know who did the action or

or because actually the object is the most important

or the most interesting part of the sentence.

So that's the thing that the action is happening to

not the thing that is doing the action.

You can use the passive to change

the focus of your sentence.

So let's go back a moment.

To understand the passive voice,

I should really first explain the active voice

but you already know it,

it looks like like this.

The children ate the cake.

Subject, verb, object.

Now most English sentences

are more complicated than this but we'll start simply.

The subject does the action to the object.

The children ate the cake.

Now, imagine that you left for work in the morning

and there was a whole cake on the kitchen table.

But by the time you got home,

it had completely disappeared.

You don't know who ate it,

I mean, you could probably guess, but you don't know.

Where is this cake?

The cake was eaten

by somebody.

So the solution is to use the passive voice

because we don't know who ate the cake.

Now, sometimes we're just more interested

in the object of the sentence rather than the subject.

English speakers frequently use the passive voice.

But this lesson isn't about English speakers,

it's about the passive voice.

It's the most important thing.

So we can change it to say the passive voice

is frequently used by English speakers.

Now you'll often read passive sentences in newspapers

when the journalist can't say who did something.

Maybe because they don't know who did it.

It's also used in scientific reports and legal documents

because the information has to be objective

so often there is no subject.

Now some other really common passive expressions

that you already know.

Be born.

We don't say "My mother bore me on June 23rd 1989."

I was born on June 23rd 1989.

When your friend tells you about his new colleague,

he won't say "People call him Tony"

he'll say "He's called Tony" or "He's named Tony"

'The Stand' was written by Stephen King.

The movie Deadpool was directed by Tim Miller.

The national anthem was sung by Fergie.

In all of these really common examples,

you can see the structure of the passive voice.

The be verb followed by the past participle.

I thought we only use the past participle verb

in the perfect tenses?

Yeah we do use it in the perfect tenses

and in the passive voice.

If you see the be verb followed by

the past participle form,

you know that this is a passive sentence.

So let's go back to the first example to explain the form

of a passive sentence.

If our active sentence is "The children ate the cake"

the passive sentence is

"The cake was eaten by the children"

The object of the active sentence becomes the subject

in the passive sentence.

To make the object of the active sentence

become the subject,

we actually need to change a few things in our sentence

So are you ready to learn how to do that?

Here's our active sentence,

to make a passive sentence,

we need to use the passive tense

and there are six steps to turn an active sentence

into a passive sentence.

Now you might want to take a notepad out

so that you can write them down as we go.

Step one, identify the subject, the verb and the object

of the active sentence.

Step two, move the object to become the new subject

of our sentence.

Step three, check the active sentence.

What is the verb tense in the active sentence?

This is really important because the passive voice

exists across different tenses

so you must check what tense the active sentence is in

to make your passive sentence correct.

It's in the past simple, "The children ate the cake".

Good!

Step four, conjugate the verb be

so that it's in the same tense

as the main verb in the active sentence.

We need to change our be verb

verb to the past simple

so it becomes was or were

depending on the new subject

and our new subject is the cake

so we can choose was, "The cake was".

Step five,

add the past participle of the main verb after be.

So looking back at the active sentence,

the main verb is eat,

though it's in past simple form

but can you think of the past participle of eat?

Eaten, right?

Now the last step, step six,

you need to decide what to do with the subject

of your active sentence.

The children.

In the passive voice, you don't have to include

the thing that is doing the action.

You can completely remove

that former subject from your sentence

and that's helpful if you don't know who ate the cake

or you don't want to say who it was

or you don't care - maybe it's not important.

But you can add it to the end of your sentence

with the word by.

The cake was eaten by the children.

Let's look at some more examples together.

The house was built in 1893.

The car will be sold by the weekend.

The washing had been left out in the rain.

Many people's lives were saved.

Can you see the passive form here?

The be verb is always there but it tells us the tense.

It helps to describe when something happened

and it also conjugates with the subject.

People's lives were saved.

The house was built.

And the be verb is always followed

by the past participle.

We can also explain who or what did the action

by adding by.

The house was built by her grandfather.

This car will be sold by the salesman.

The washing had been left out in the rain

by her husband.

Many people's lives were saved by the volunteers.

Okay let's try a new sentence together.

I want you to do this one with me please.

Can you remember the six steps?

Someone has stolen my neighbour's car.

This is an active sentence.

Now can you remember step number one?

It's easy! Identify the subject, verb and object.

Step two, make the object the subject.

Step three,

tell me what tense is used

in the original active sentence.

The present perfect tense.

Step four, you need to conjugate the be verb

so that it's in the same tense.

The neighbor's car has been.

We're using has because the subject is now the car.

Step five, add the main verb in past participle form.

The neighbor's car has been stolen.

It's the same verb as the original sentence,

which was also the past participle.

Step six, decide

do you need to include the thing that did the action?

Is it really that important?

Maybe not

because we don't really know anything about who did it,

it's just someone.

I'd probably just leave it as

my neighbor's car has been stolen.

But if we knew a little bit more about who or what did it,

we could definitely include it.

My neighbor's car has been stolen by someone.

My neighbor's car has been stolen by a monkey.

So the passive form always includes the be verb

with the past participle

and if you need to include any information about

what or who did the action use by.

Okay, I've got

three more examples for you to practise with.

We made lots of money in 2002.

Lots of money was made by us in 2002.

I will clean the house on Monday.

The house will be cleaned by me on Monday.

He built the house for his parents.

The house was built by him for his parents.

Okay now that's enough for this lesson

but there is actually a lot more to practise

about the passive voice

like how to use the negative forms and questions,

how to use modal verbs in the passive voice,

how to include adverbs of manner

to explain how something is done.

But there is enough information right there

for a whole new lesson so I'll get to that.

top of the hour last week's horrific shooting in Texas prompting renewed

calls for armed protectionist school campuses after all it was the 16th

school shooting like our next guest a sheriff in Florida who's wasting no time

in taking action vowing to put an armed officer in every public school campus in

his County this week Polk County Sheriff Grady Grady judge joins us now sheriff

you saw a Santa Fe and you said that's it we're doing this this week how are

what we did in the state of Florida we passed a law we said hey the talking's

over it's time for action as a result the legislators provided money for SROs

and what we call safe school guardians and as of August 13th of next year for

the first time in the history of the state of Florida every public school

campus will have well-trained armed security called a guardian right or a

school resource officer and we're gonna do everything that we can to protect the

children and they are pretty trained you would tell me in the break they're gonna

have over a hundred hours of firearms training what else are you doing for

them yeah Bryan that's correct in fact when you look at the discipline of

firearms there's 25% more training for the guardian

than to even be a certified police officer and we're arming them and

coaching them and teaching them but at the end of the day this is just one of

many many different layers so you're gonna put in every school and I think

that's where we're heading the question is where's the money coming from Florida

has the money that stays - and while they have a surplus what about some of

the poorer states who also want their kids safe what do you recommend they do

is it federal funding Brian you federal funding can always help but you know you

can take your existing resources on your campuses give them detailed backgrounds

psychological drug screens ask for volunteers and give them the same

training for approximately 1,500 to 2,500 dollars apiece so you can do it

inexpensively you've got to quit talking and start acting so she and that's what

we're doing in Florida Sheriff I it's for me personally we don't know the

reason some say video games don't say psychotropic drugs some say bullying is

up whatever the reason is we didn't wait when it came to airports why are we

waiting so long when it comes to schools do you know I wish I could answer that

there are evil plss all over this country and they're planning the next

act of shooting right now and I can tell you in this county and our sheriff's

office in our police departments if you show up on a campus the talking's over

we're gonna shoot you a lot Ryan to protect our children and we know this

this guy got in for 30 minutes there was a marine teacher there who knows how to

use a firearm but they're not allowed to have firearms in the school therefore

the guy was having target practice again with kids and students but you're not

waiting and that's the message your training guardians to go out there in

the meantime you got officers in there sheriff Grady Judd thanks so much Brian

thank you so very much we can't keep doing the same old thing and aspect

different result it's ridiculous for action absolutely near zero agency all

right and so the people for the legislature it did act meanwhile he lost

both his legs while serving our country overseas now Johnny Joey Jones is firing

back you want to go on a ride at Six Flags they threw him off the ride for

not having quote real legs he was here live to

share his experience next and president from polishing capitalism making America

open for business Kentucky governor Matt Bevin joins us

next hour to tell us how his state is thriving after all he's a business guy

first

a Six Flags Georgia Six Flags Georgia is facing backlash after banning a wAPT

veteran from this ride Johnny Joey Jones lost both of his legs and a bomb blast

while he was serving all of us over in Afghanistan tweeting quote I just got

kicked off a fully enclosed ride at Six Flags just like one I've ridden at

Universal Studios for not having quote real legs here with more retired US Army

Corps bomb technician Johnny Joey Jones Johnny good morning to you good morning

guys how's it going we're doing okay we're gonna start with this this is the

official rule regarding the ride you were on according to Six Flags Over

Georgia riders must have one functioning arm and one functioning leg absent of

prosthetic devices apparently the concern is the fact that

you have two prosthetic legs no absolutely and to be honest it's not

this particular ride that I was asked to get off of that was the problem it was

how I was asked to get off the ride and then once I left the ride I researched

the policy for every single ride in the park and literally I can't get on a

tilt-a-whirl I'm restricted to pretty much things that don't move because of

my legs and if you read the policy for every ride the verbage is different for

one it may say no prosthetics allowed for the next one it may say a word like

absent of prosthetics for the next one it might say at least one fully

functioning leg and the next one that may say something like all arms and legs

attached and so when you go down this a policy that what you see is a severe

absence of common sense and a big worry of liability a lot of people have quoted

to me a marine who fell out of a rollercoaster and died 2010 the same

year I got injured ironically but if you look at him his physical body was

completely different than mine I have my legs all the way down to where my knees

were and what that means is any type of device like a lap bar is gonna function

as designed on me my legs aren't gonna stop that from working but it's the fact

they don't put the policy out there and and he didn't say you can't ride this

ride go talk to so and so it was you can't ride this ride I said why he said

because you don't have real legs Six Flags released the statement they said

we Apollo to mr. Jones for any inconvenience

however to ensure safety guests with certain disabilities are restricted from

writing certain rides and attractions our policies are customized by ride and

developed for the safety of all our guests you know the rules are the rules

many people will say that but I look at you I know what you've done for our

country you lost your legs in Afghanistan how can we ask you to go to

war but you can't ride you know a simple ride what is your message for Six Flags

do you want them to change the rules so that someone in your situation can ride

the rides what can you do with your legs well let me be specific here the same

rule that stopped me from getting on the roller coaster would have stopped me

from getting on the tilt-a-whirl next to it that doesn't leave the ground so my

message the Six Flags is I don't hate you I don't want to tell people not to

go there I want you to apply the same type of care and thoughtfulness that

Universal Studios Disney SeaWorld and everywhere else I've gone and written

Relic coasters and done so safely I want you to apply the same knowledge and

expertise they applied because they look for a way to accommodate me not a way to

restrict me just because of liability and it's not just you you're talking

about other people from similar reasons whether it happened in war or from birth

or from cancer they're going to go through the same thing so this that's

can be an important statement absolutely I'm happy to work with Six

Flags I'm happy to be their test dummy if they need it but the fact is the only

prohibiting factors if that lap bar or those shoulder harnesses can't function

as design and my body will do that Johnny Joey Jones thanks so much thank

you next our Kentucky governor Matt Bevin don't move that's our local

president Trump demanding answers from deputy AG rod Rosenstein about a

possible FBI spy in his campaign that would be a crime of enormous magnitude

of which I don't believe we've ever seen an American what if there was all eyes

are in Capitol Hill today where Republican lawmakers are demanding a

second special counsel I don't think that the Justice Department's gonna be

able to investigate themselves I think that they've resisted our inquiries here

in Congress for long enough Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announcing the

administration's pressure campaign to weaken Iran's economy until it changes

its behavior these will impede and being the strongest sanctions in history

and we are complete Democrats are taking a cue from the president's playbook in a

dramatic shift to their own message drain the swamp you can't beat them join

us you know this is a clear effort to take and co-op the president's very

powerful anti elite anti-washington message freshman at the Naval Academy

scale a first year rite of passage all to mark the end of the year

dan you might as well jump live from New York City it's our 3 for May 22nd 2018

Fox and Friends world's number one cable Morning News show thanks to folks like

you and Ainsley has returned from across I did yesterday my daughter got her very

first trophy and yes everyone in the class got a trophy or do what they do

it's called kids in sports it's a it's a program they have here where they learn

every week how to learn how to play one sport was this week jump because they

asked him to run around in a circle and then they said now jump around in a

circle so they're supposed to hop and my daughter can't really do it she kind of

it's really cute anyway so anyway she got a trophy anyway for participating ok

but she's two and a half you know I understand when you're like 7 or 8 you

get the trophy if you're the best but at this age can't everyone get a trophy

look we still like trophies right but she didn't get everybody she's left with

it last night it's in her crib all right meanwhile let's talk a little bit about

this there was a crazy meeting yesterday at the White House it was the president

United States the guy who runs the FBI and also the Department of Justice

Deputy Attorney General and they were all talking about mr. Trump's tweet a

couple days earlier the day earlier where he said you know something's fishy

going on there was there a spy inside my campaign if so I want answers well and

you know some people are being critical of that but if you think about it if

you're running for president and someone is spying on you being funded by your

opponent or being tracked to your opponent then wouldn't you want to know

about it wouldn't you want to know some answers he wanted other people to do

this investigation for him no one was stepping up to the plate so he finally

holds this meeting and he's like you know what I want to get to the bottom of

this you've been trying to say Russia Russia Russia all this time and I'm sick

of it you didn't find anything there so now we're starting to peel the onion

apart and we're starting to see more layers and it looks like someone he's

saying it might look it looks fishy why did you spy on me what was your

amazing was it politically motivated and there was one person three meetings with

quarter-page Papen at least three meetings and at least one person with

quarter-page Papadopoulos as well as Sam Clovis so he Judge Napolitano

here and he just talked about in relevance what the big deal is and where

this could be heading could the city administration be spying on the Trump

campaign listen I don't believe DOJ will give everything and I'll tell you why

because under the law the DOJ has the right to keep from everyone information

that's presented to a grand jury or information that would expose a source

when they're still in the midst of a criminal investigation as ugly as this

sounds Muller's investigation is a criminal investigation the subject of

that invasive investigation is the President of the United States they

would never tip their hand to the president to anybody about what they

have and where they're going until the investigation is over and they've either

written a report about him charged that was something or exonerated so there

you've got the judge talking about how going forward it was brokered yesterday

John F Kennedy Center referee when it comes to all those congressional

Republicans who want all these confidential and top-secret documents he

will broker it between the Department of Justice and the FBI and Congress but

then and it all revolves yesterday regarding the tweet around that perhaps

spy the confidential source inside the campaign Michael Caputo who was with the

Trump campaign for a while he says there could be more than one person who

infiltrated the Trump's circle and if that's true this could be very bad for

some familiar names from the Obama White House but let me tell you something that

I know for a fact the this informant this person that they planted tried to

plant into the campaign and even into the administration if you believe Axios

he's not the only person that came at the campaign and the FBI is not the only

Obama agency that came at the campaign I know because they came at me and I'm

looking for clearance to my attorney to reveal this to the public this is

just the beginning and I'll tell you when we finally find out the truth about

this director clapper and the rest of them are going to be wearing some orange

suits and this guy is paid a lot because of the baller

negation because of the house investigation Michael Caputo who's not

even with the Trump campaign and I believe was a volunteer even though he

was playing a vital role and had some president respect left when Corey

Lewandowski left because of an ill-advised tweet about Corey

lewandowski's exit and he's still a friend of the president he has paid he I

think he had to remortgage his house over in Buffalo his financial

issues because you need the top lawyer because so much is at stake in his big

sin with being friends with the president Michael Flynn same thing he

had to go ahead and maybe cut a deal because he couldn't even afford to make

his house payments after a while it's just about doing the right thing no

matter if you're a Republican or if you're a Democrat if they are sending

someone in if any political party is sending someone in to spy on an opponent

that is wrong that's wrong and it needs we need to know we need to know the

answers and why it was done right and so you've got these congressional

Republicans they are keep in mind with three co-equal branches of government

you've got Congress which has oversight over the administration which is the

Department of Justice and the FBI but according to a number of congressional

Republicans the Department of Justice has been stonewalling when it comes to

getting some of these documents so that's why congressman Ron De Santis of

Florida is one of three lawmakers including Mark meadows and Jim Jordan

calling for a second special counsel why listen we need people to be held

accountable for how the Hillary email investigation was conducted and we're

going to get a lot of information on that when the IG report lands hopefully

very soon but we also need to get people to be held accountable for any FISA

abuse that occurred and then how did this investigation into the Trump

campaign start and were was it on the up and up from the very beginning there's

always a lot of questions about that and I don't think that the Justice

Department's going to be able to investigate themselves I think that

they've resisted our inquiries here in Congress for long enough and so it's

time that we did have a special counsel Senator Graham said something similar I

don't think this country needs another special counsel on anything this doesn't

work it's not effective it just further divides the country I understand the

frustration on the right and the left pending on what the target is right but

my goodness is so debilitating of the taxing what it takes out of you we're

not doing because of it but Brian do you trust the Department of Justice to

investigate themselves well the Department of Justice because it was

inspired by the president should be at least responsive to the president he

hauled him in yesterday and there was Inspector General overseeing it and if

you have an investigation in James clapper or John Brennan or any of the

other or James Comey don't show up they'll say a lot because the Inspector

General is able to get a lot out of it right mr. general not Alan Dershowitz

yes and that the country does not benefit from this the 9/11 style

investigation when people aren't defensive when they can be open and say

how do we fix this right that's when it works but here's the thing the Inspector

General which is what they're talking about right there between the White

House and the congressional Republicans yesterday he doesn't have subpoena power

he can't get James Comey in he can't get mr. clapper in it can't get they they

can't impanel a grand jury and so that's why a lot of people go you know what I

don't see how they can investigate themselves are you going to look at the

IG report which is due out this month which has got to be next week this week

or next week are you going to look at it differently are their conclusions

because they didn't have subpoena power well listen according to the reports

today apparently the IG reports savages James Comey for not moving fast enough

to get a warrant into Hillary's email server people don't care how it's done

they just want it over they want the answers but if you do have a special

counsel it is another investigator it's money in the waters even more and it

just divides it red and blue right when I don't care where you stand we're doing

benefits do you remember on the campaign trail of course you did president

yelling out drain the swamp and the crowds would say drain the swamp well he

was talking about Nancy Pelosi right Chuck Schumer all the people that have

been in Washington the establishment that's right the establishment that are

not getting anything done in his minds well now you have those two people who

are considered the swamp now they want to join the swamp

that's the new democratic slogan listen to this

president Trump has embraced the most egregious establishment Republican norms

and appointed the most conflict-of-interest ridden cabinet in

my lifetime the swamp has never been more foul or more fetid than under this

president instead of delivering on its promise to drain the swamp President

Trump has become the swamp we want Republicans and their corrupt big donor

driven agenda to get out of the way it has given the American people a raw deal

apparently the Democrats internal polling have shown that in the upcoming

election they want folks to do something about corruption in Washington we so

that's why they're going to pull the plug on the swamp we asked you guys to

weigh in on this and Ricky says you can't get them to drain their own

swimming pools my David says the Democrats couldn't come up with a

message so they stole one that works so for well for president Trump what's next

blue megawhatts Nancy Pelosi did use that in 2006 by the way and a tweet from

John since they're taking drain the swamp maybe next year we'll hear Chuck

and Nancy saying build the wall all right keep the email coming and the

tweets and whatnot because we read them all day long so it was Nancy Pelosi

slogan in 2006 yep when she was working to be speaker and I am fascinated as we

turn it over to Gillian and take a wide shot maybe from Ted thanks that I did

some fascinating to see there's crowd funding for the wall more people have

written us saying well why don't we just do a way to finance the wall in our own

so crowd funding it starts with how much women Diane I bet you they get enough

money how much is my billion in the pot now 25

billion 25 billion I bet you 50 cents okay new threats days after the deadly

high school shooting in Santa Texas to students at nearby schools

allegedly brought guns with them to campus on the first day back to class

after Friday's rampage threats also reported at three other nearby schools

meantime today Texas governor Greg Abbott will hold the first of several

roundtable discussions on gun violence the search for two escaped inmates and

suspected killers widening to three states three men taking less than ten

minutes to escape from the Orangeburg South Carolina detention center after a

control board malfunctioned and unlocked cell doors one of them was captured his

dad now locked up - accused of helping him - are still on the loose right

they're both charged with murder voting is underway in four southern states

holding primaries today in Georgia a crowded Republican field for governor as

five candidates seek the nomination in Arkansas incumbent governor ASA

Hutchinson is hoping to ride out his fresh endorsement from President Trump

he's facing a challenge from Jan Morgan runoff voting is just underway in Texas

while polls are also open in Georgia Kentucky and Arkansas that's look your

headlines and we will have the results tomorrow thanks Julian all right

meanwhile Iran is on notice Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

threatening to impose the strongest sanctions in history on Iran so what

would that be we're going to talk to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State

The Tiny Hole Sunk the Boat - Duration: 15:19.

The Tiny Hole Sunk the Boat May 23, 2018

Thank You, Jesus, for the warning.

Please grant us the vision and grace necessary to avoid these attacks.

Amen.

To my most precious veteran Heartdwellers.

There is an attack coming from the enemy against those of us who have been on the Channel for

a very long time.

But here's the warning: it is going to begin with something so small and subtle that you

will not recognize it when it begins.

At least, not without God's Grace.

Please be on extreme alert for the little foxes that spoil the vine.

One little decision can have HUGE repercussions, so be on the lookout for what the enemy's

up to.

Forewarned is forearmed.

Ezekiel grew up on the bayou.

And he would come down early in the morning to go fishing—and he kept finding water

in his boat.

He and his dad went out fishing, but when they came back, the boat was getting fuller

and fuller of water.

Finally, it was so bad they just had to find the leak.

And they did—after an extremely careful search.

It was one, tiny pinhole in the hull, barely visible with the naked eye.

What I have noticed consistently, at least in our lives, is that many times a door gets

opened.

It could be as small a thing as an attitude about someone.

I had to repent today and pray a short prayer to neutralize and bless that person.

"Forgive me, Lord, that was wrong.

Please bless them."

But very, very little things like that open the door.

And as I have observed before, the Lord uses what lands—curses that land—partially

for releasing graces on a person or situation you are praying for, and partially to correct

us and mature us and get us back on track.

Much like sheep dogs nip at the heels of straying sheep to guide them back into the corral.

You see, I have asked Him to take me back to my days of utter simplicity, which some

people might call poverty.

I don't know.

When I had very, very little to distract my attention.

And boy, was I happy to be free of things and be able to be thinking about the Lord

all the time.

Free from those distractions.

You know, when you step into society, there's the 'right look'.

There's 'the right' heels.

The 'right' hose with the 'right' dress with the 'right' purse with the 'right' hairstyle

with the 'right' jewelry.

The whole 'thing'.

The distractions that are so vain and silly!

And rob us of attention that could have been put totally on the Lord.

Because we were in the public eye, this was something I took for granted.

We had to 'look the part', so to speak.

Of course, that wasn't necessarily true...

But it definitely tempts you to live that kind of lifestyle.

Which is terrible!

You're always thinking about how you look and how you appear and your presentation,

and everything else.

Forget it.

I got sick of it.

So.

So, going back to the time when we were in a little cabin on a hillside in Pennsylvania—it

was sheer bliss.

Now, living in a house, life has become more complicated.

Taking care of the grounds, roofing, and myriad other things that are SO time-consuming and

distracting.

If I could?

I'd move out!

I really would.

I'd find myself a trailer and live in a trailer on a secure piece of land, and not have ANYTHING

to think about!

But the Lord.

And prayer and music.

And of course, the Channel.

But the Lord has told me that this house is His provision for us.

So, He wants me to cut back slowly on things that demand my attention and live free from

responsibilities we so easily get hooked into by our desire to make things look "nice."

Here we go again… back to the hoodie.

Episode #2: The Navy Blue Hoodie.

So.

I discovered an open door with the hoodie situation from the last message.

I returned the extra one, but what I didn't understand was that the first hoodie was not

God's will, either.

And I expected some of the pressure and attack that was on Ezekiel to lift off when I returned

that other hoodie.

But it didn't.

After he was sick for three days, I began to wonder: maybe the first hoodie was wrong,

too?

So, I went to the Bible Promises about it and I got "Jealousy" about having it.

(I really didn't want to give it up...)

So, I decided to call a prayer partner and they confirmed the very same readings I was

getting.

Ezekiel has been under attack for three days since those hoodies came marching in the door

from Amazon.

The attacks began that very day!

I told the Lord, "Jesus, if you allow this to continue, there will be no more ministry

for me.

I can't handle the pressures of seeing him sick again, messages, correspondence… and

certainly not anything left in my heart for music."

And I realized when I said it, that was exactly the point.

If I could not conquer this disobedient tendency to walk the line.

Walk the fence, really.

And a spirit of acquisition, be it ever so small, I cannot take this flock where HE wants

it to go.

I realized I am quickly approaching the point of being useless to Him in the ways He wanted

to use me.

Very sobering, Heartdwellers.

Very sobering.

And I suppose, very rewarding for my enemies to hear.

But on the other hand, now that I'm sharing it with you—you're gonna be wiser than me.

You're not gonna fall for it.

So, in the long run, the Lord STILL wins.

I even got this Rhema card from my hundreds of rhema cards.

It said, "I need you to get your flesh in line and to moderate your attachments to things,

and to be ready to go where I send you unencumbered, and be the very simple and little example

I need you to be."

Right...

"But Lord!

That hoodie was very simple, wasn't it??"

So, I have taken this warning very seriously.

And ask you to pray for me each day not to back-slide into distractions from anything

that would take me away from Jesus.

As a consequence of this, as soon as I repented, the attacks against Ezekiel stopped.

He rose up out of bed and went right back to his music full force, just as happy as

he could be.

You see, the Lord has to use hard measures with some of us who are bull-headed.

He can't get our attention with a gentle check in our hearts or a tap on the shoulder;

He has to really stop us dead in our tracks.

Feeling awful!

To get us to go deeper and look at what we could have done to open the door for curses

to land.

The Lord knows I have been hamstrung when Ezekiel was sick before.

Motivation goes out the window, because I hurt so badly for him.

And have had so much to do to keep him well cared for.

At the end of the day, NOTHING was left.

And you know?

I've had some thoughts about this, too.

What we should be doing for the Lord—obedience—should be coming from a place of Love.

Of really extreme Love for Him.

A Love that is so focused on Him that we don't want anything for ourselves.

And it doesn't mean anything to us when He says 'no' about something.

A lot of us don't put in enough prayer time to get to that place with Him.

And so we don't have strength to resist temptation.

That place of obedience isn't supposed to come from a place of Fear!

That's the secondary way that the Lord has to resort to, with people like myself—who

are stubborn and head-strong.

It should come from a place of extreme Love and devotion.

Knowing that if He doesn't want us to have something, it's not going to be good for us.

But in order to have that kind of a conscience, and that kind of a heart—you have to devote

more and more time to Soaking prayer and Dwelling prayer.

And being in His presence and worshipping Him.

More and more time.

And that also tends to be a real temptation when you're loaded up with things to do in

the World.

It steals time from that devotion.

So, we've got to be ever so careful to protect that time.

And when we start to get weak and emaciated spiritually, that's when the devil closes

in for the kill.

He sees that we're depleted, because we've been so busy.

We've chosen to be busy.

We haven't chosen to make everybody else wait and spend the time with the Lord.

And because we've chosen that, we become weakened over a period of weeks.

And I have to tell you—the devil is SO sneaky.

He does these things slowly, and almost imperceptibly—except you will have a little bell going off in your

head, saying 'I should have spent more time with the Lord today.'

That'll happen.

He'll warn you.

But we get so busy we ignore that, day after day after day.

And before you know it, we're too weak to be able to resist temptation.

So, we disobey and we fall.

Because we're not strong enough to resist our earthly passions with His Love alone.

So, He has to use the other measures to get us back into line.

So, to summarize.

I think we could say the hoodie was a very small thing, but not to the Lord.

The hole in the boat was very small, too.

But eventually left unchecked it sank the boat.

So, this warning is going out to you, my very dear ones.

Be ever so careful and vigilant to calculate the possible repercussions of one, tiny thing

out of God's will.

Or that might have the potential for compromise in the future.

We all have weak spots and persistent battles of one kind or another—or at least those

of us who still have Pride.

Because the Lord has to bring us down where we belong, so we can look up at everyone else.

John Ramirez quoted something from the Scriptures about young lions.

And his observation was that it is something small that later grows into a great big lion

and takes over your life.

So, if you toy with one little lion, when it grows bigger it gets out of hand.

The one little thing the Lord has asked you not to have or do, that one little thing you

hold on to as an affection in your heart grows into a much bigger passion which can take

over your life.

And the devil really knows how to set up opportunities for that.

My dear ones, I am not trying to scare you.

Just saying to be consciously examining things that come into your life around this period

of time, and calculate how they could grow into monsters.

We are being targeted.

In all of this, though, we are conquerers through Christ Jesus who lives in us.

Lord, have you anything to share?

Jesus began, "I love you so much, Clare.

And I am committed to bringing you to the phase of spirituality that you desire with

all your heart.

This is why I allow these things.

It is not to punish you, but as you said, to use as a steering fence to keep you safe

from the vipers and scorpions.

"You and I have a truly beautiful relationship, and part of that beauty is My promise to keep

you on the right track.

Each one of you Heartdwellers have the same wonderful relationship, and you've spoken

your hearts to Me so many times, that permission to correct you is a given.

This way, I keep you tucked into My Heart where the abundant life of love and wisdom

flow out upon the world.

Do not compromise.

As Clare learns again and again, there is nothing in this world worth having if it is

against My will and best interests for you.

"You can fudge and manipulate, but sooner or later I will have to lower the boom, so

to speak, and bring you back to My Heart—to your first love.

"Cleave to Me, dear ones, and reject the setups and temptations the enemy has laid for you.

Understand he is very subtle.

Examine the fruits in the long run.

Is there a temptation hidden there?

Never over-estimate your strength in the face of temptation."

Boy, is that true!

If I had never clicked on that navy blue hoodie, or on that wine-colored hoodie, I wouldn't

have had a problem.

But I just couldn't resist.

It looked so perfect.

He continued, "If you are listening very carefully, you will hear My warning either in your head

or in your gut.

Pay attention to that, and stop it at the entrance, and it will not expand to produce

rotten fruit in your hearts.

"I am for you.

I am with you.

I am in love with each and everyone of you!

And there is nothing I will withhold from you if it is good for you to have it.

"Trust Me.

Listen for My cautions.

Consider the repercussions in the long run.

And if there is a possibility of compromise, reject it straight out—close the door on

it.

Oh, my dear ones.

I just couldn't resist!

I was just 'bouncing' this to my desktop and going on the Net to look for an image for

Differentiation and Integration of a Power Series - Duration: 26:54.

BAM! Mr. Tarrou. In this calculus lesson you are going to be introduced to the

concept of differentiation and integration of a power series why are

you learning this because in an upcoming section we're going to be actually asked

to come up with or create geometric power series that represent another

function so far we've just been given these power series and for certain

problems to be able to come up with a geometric series the geometric power

series that represents a given function we have to use some of this derivative

and integration process to make that happen to make our function possibly

with a derivative process make a given function closer to this a over 1 minus

our pattern that we have you know because we've been finding the infinite

sum of geometric power series since precalculus and then we can create a

series off of this formula that we've known for quite a while now but then

that series would be representing f prime of X and we would have to

integrate to you know come up with a series represents the given function so

this is a skill that's going to come around again we have a couple of

guidelines here that we're going to look at we are going to say well let's just

read this off if the family or if the function given by f of X is equal to the

summation where n starts the zero goes to infinity of a sub n times X minus C

to the N power you can see how that is you know basically our old geometric

series from precalculus and when we have that any given center thereof X minus C

has a radius of convergence of R greater than 0 then on the interval from C minus

R to C plus R that x value of C for which we are creating the series around

that we could use this polynomial to estimate the value of f of X well if f

is differentiable and therefore continuous we have these guidelines F

prime of X the derivative of F is equal to the summation where n starts at 1 and

goes to infinity of n times a sub n X minus C to the N minus 1 power and you

can see if you look back up here at our original given series we're just taken

we have a variable base we have a fixed power well that's gonna go to infinity

but we have this power of n and that's coming down and we're just reducing the

power by 1 we're taking the derivative using the power rule in this a sub n is

just some kind of constant that we have really in front of each term of our

polynomial which effectively does go to and you know goes on forever and we have

the derivative of a constant is equal to 0 so we don't need to say we have a plus

0 if we bring this one down 1 times a sub 1 is equal to well a sub 1 but then

your X minus C will be raised to the 0 power which is going to be 1 so that's

why we just have an a sub 1 here and then 2 times a sub 2 now your X minus C

has a power of 1 because it's been reduced down by 1 from 2 and then 3

times a sub 3 and that X minus C having a power of 3 has been reduced by 2 and

so on and so on for well ever now you look here and you see that our lower

index is N equals 0 and now it's equal to N equals 1 so you might think by the

rules here that we have the guidelines and maybe possibly the example that's in

your textbook that this lower index just automatically increases by 1 well the

example that we're going to work with is not exactly in this format of just a

single simple constant times X minus C to the N so you do need to see that it's

very helpful and you really need to be looking at that expanded series and

seeing how it behaves so you can determine well first of all does the

expression you come up with through the derivative or integration process you

know is it accurate but also you know does that lower index really always

change so make sure you pay attention to the expanded form of that series and

then we have the integral of f of X DX is equal to C because of course when you

do an indefinite integral you always have that plus C so C plus the summation

where n starts 0 and goes to infinity of a sub N and you can see here all we're

doing is making the power go up by one and then dividing by

that increased power and then we have the expansion here

so the plus see of course because when you take it the derivative of a constant

it comes out to be zero so there's a plus C the integral of a sub oh well

you're integrating kind of well you're not going with respect to X but you've

got this X minus C here so we have that a sub Oh times X minus C and then we

have a sub one and that X minus C factor it's well really variable here with that

power increasing by one and then dividing and so on and so on the race of

convergence of the series obtained by differentiating or integrating a power

series is the same as that of the original series now notice it says the

radius of convergence not the interval of convergence so you have the same

center of course the same radius of convergence but we will need to and

that's where I said that at the end of this video I'm just going to show you

all the work that it's involved in testing the endpoints of our original

series the derivative second derivative and series we get from integration the

interval of convergence however may differ as a result of the behavior of

the endpoints and as I'm preparing these lessons for you guys relearning stuff

that I'd you know long learned and forgotten from my math degree and

prepare to teach my classes next year is by high school I need to make sure that

the work I'm doing you know is correct so I present it correctly to you and my

students and the solutions guide you know is become very very abbreviated so

I want to make sure you see all of my work it takes to find or test those

endpoints and know that yeah sometimes it takes a whole page work page worth of

work to you know do what the solutions manual looks like is just a couple of

steps like you know oh it says nothing no it can actually be quite a lot so

let's get on to our example right now so we're going to find the interval of

convergence of our original series f of X then F Prime

f double-prime of x and again the integral of f of X DX and include a

check for convergence at the endpoints of the interval just as a reminder okay

so when you follow those guidelines you looks like and you kind of can just

straight up use the power rule now as you look at this rather complicated one

maybe series it's not the easiest one that was in the textbook that I teach

from or inspired by the easiest one it can be overwhelming here with all of

this negative one to the n plus one n times five to the nth power and you can

see here we have X minus five finally we have a variable now remember as you

expand the series we're gonna let n equal 1 n equal to and equal 3 and we're

going to get a a series that or a polynomial that does not have the

variable of n in it the variable that's going to be left is X and you can see

that we have this X minus 5 so really right here we can already see that the

center of this power series is going to be 5 we just need to later on as we set

up that ratio test look for the radius of convergence and this negative 1 to

the n plus 1 and this n times 5 to the N power well as you let n equal 1 in equal

to n equal 3 so on and so on and so on that I have an actual yeah that is 1 to

begin with not 0 for lower index these are just going to be constants really as

you take the derivative it's this power that's on the X minus 5 that is going to

come down and be reduced by 1 so f prime of X recognizing that again all the

stuff here with the ends all of this

that's all just a constant 4 on each of the terms we have that F prime of X is

equal to the summation we're not only this this lower index blank that's where

I said you need to focus on really you want to look at the derivative of our

series term by term right now I'm just looking at the the summation notation

we're still going to have this obviously a upper limit of infinity

we're going to bring this power of n down so again we have this constant this

negative one to the n plus 1 over N times 5 to the N power now that's going

to be times we're going to bring that power of n down n times X minus 5 to the

N minus 1 power and our factor of n in the numerator and our factor of n in the

denominator are going to cancel and that should be a proper derivative here the

derivative of this series should be this but of course we've left that lower

index blank because this is not exactly in that a sub n times X minus C to the N

power format as you saw in those guidelines that we had to begin to the

video so let's let's look at what's going on here as we let n equal 1 we're

going to have negative 1 to the 1 plus 1 or negative 1 squared is positive 1

we're going to have X minus 5 to the first power over now 1 times 5 to the

first is 5 and then we have where N equals 2 well that's going to be 2 plus

1 which is 3 negative 1 to an odd power is going to be negative number to an odd

power is going to be negative so just put a minus there X minus 5 to the

second power and then we have 2 because n is equal to 2 now for the second term

times 5 squared well 2 times 5 squared is 50 and now we're going to let n equal

3 3 plus 1 is 4 that's an even so a plus the negative 1/2 and even powers can be

positive we have an X minus 5 to the third and we have 3 times 5 cubed

and I'm just gonna leave it like that thing is what 625 now as we take a

derivative here now I'm not going to create terms with what I believe is the

you know series which is a derivative that series I'm actually gonna take the

derivatives from our expanded form here we got the one coming down so one we're

gonna have X minus 5 to the zero power which of course is going to be one so

our first term here is one-fifth now - again taking the derivative term by term

- comes down so two times one is two divided by 50 is going to be one over 25

and we're gonna have an X minus five to now be first power and bring it down

goes on forever and really the next terms would be negative but it is sort

of an addition forever bring the 3 down the three divided by three cancels out

so we're gonna have X minus five squared

over 5 cubed and then - and then + and then so on and so on so wouldn't make

sense - like that that rule that we looked at for the derivative it was like

well N equals 0 and then N equals 1 or you just increase that by one so is that

lower index going to be - hmm - two plus one is three negative one to the third

power is going to be negative our first term is positive we've got X - 5 to the

2 - 1 well that would still leave us a factor of X minus 5 in the first term

and our denominator would be 5 squared which is 25 it actually seems like if I

let n equal 2 I'm not going to get the first term of my series I'm gonna get

the the second term see the derivative here the derivative of our first term

did not become 0 there's still a 1/5 there so our lower

limit on our lower value of our index here or n equal the lower limit of our

summation notation it's still going to need to be N equals 1 we're not going to

increase that by 1 like we saw on those rules that I wrote I just read off to

you in the previous screen so that's going to be our first derivative is a

cleaned up version of this so let's see

okay and I'm just gonna check my notes make sure it didn't copy something or do

something silly as I was trying to talk at the same time okay

now let's take that derivative game let's find that second derivative so f

double prime of X if we use those guidelines those rules that we just went

over we can say that we have got I'm gonna leave this first line blank so I

can actually take the derivative of our series term by term to make sure that

everything is matching up right again this is a constant this negative 1 to

the n plus 1 this 5 to the N is a constant we have that variable X that we

see that really is the variable that's left in our polynomial raised to a power

so going to bring that n minus 1 down and decrease it by 1 so our derivative

if this is f prime of X then F double prime is going to be the summation where

n starts at something going to infinity we have our negative 1 to the n plus 1

power bringing this n minus 1 down

reducing that power that's on the X minus 5 or variable base by 1 so we have

n minus 2 over 5 to the N power okay so when we look at the expanded form of our

series and if we were to think about taking the derivative of each of these

terms one by one we'd be taking our first

now is one fifth and the derivative of one fifth well that's equal to zero so

really our C our first term is kind of going away because you don't need to

write a plus zero now we have negative 1 or positive 1 to the negative 1 25th

which is going to be negative 1 over 25 but now we're X minus 5 is going to be

raised to a zero power so we're not going to write that X minus 5 factored

bring this 2 down and we have 2 over 5 cubed is 125 of no canceling there our X

minus 5 is going to have now a power of 2 excuse me power of 1 because we reduce

it and then our next term is minus and then add and subtract and add subtract

we have an alternating series here with that negative 1 to the n plus 1 power

see if you still leave N equals 1 do we need to and let's just double check it

we have negative 1 to the 1 plus 1 if we were to leave it as 1 1 plus 1 is 1

negative 1 squared is positive we have 1 minus 1 which is 0 okay so this would

come out to be 0 when N equals 1 but why why have a term that is 0 so let's just

allow that to increase decrease increase by 1 and say well really our first

useable term now is negative 1 over 25 we dropped that first term in our

polynomial cuz the derivative of a constant is equal to 0 so let's increase

that lower limit of our summation notation from N equals 1 to N equals 2

and just just double check it plug 2 in negative 1 to the third power is

negative good there 2 minus 1 is 1 ok that looks good so that's just me 1 we

have X minus 5 to the 2 minus 2 power so that's gonna be X minus 5 to the 0 power

good yeah our term here does not have our first term it's not equal to 0 does

not have an X minus 5 factor to it in the denominator we have 5 squared and

the course you let n equal 3 and double check it and that will come out and this

is the this is a correct answer and you can see

that yes as we take the derivative as we go through this polynomial eventually

our first term is going to become a constant and the derivative of that

constant becomes zero and that's when the lower limit of our summation

notation starts to step up by one as we take derivatives but it's not gonna

happen every single time now the integral of f of X DX is going to be the

integral of this summation notation and you'd be integrating with respect to X

because all these ends are constant so we're going to have the summation where

n starts at 1 I'll explain that in a second well that doesn't change we go to

infinity we're going to now not decrease our power but of course when you

integrate you're going with just a power rule you increase that power by one so

we have negative 1 to the n plus 1 power we're going to raise this up by 1 I

don't know I'm leaving a lot of space there that's minus 5 to the n plus 1

power and of course integrative power rule which increase that power by 1 you

have to divide so in the denominator we have n times n plus 1 times 5 to the N

power now why now I just got a check because you know I mean Oh see that's

why it's a check I just did an indefinite integration and forgot my

plus C Oh Lord don't forget the constant of integration

of integration now why did I not need to worry about checking that lower limit

because you know the integral here we'll have our first term of X minus 5 to the

first power divided by 5 you know when you take that power and you increase it

and you would have X minus 5 to the second power then you divide by 2 that

first term is not going away it's not going to go away like

will eventually start to happen as you repeatedly take the derivative of your

polynomial at some point you're going to start having terms you know fall out

because they're becoming zero that's not going to happen as you do integration

now of course it's not a bad idea you can certainly integrate each of

these terms individually and then make sure that you're what you believe to be

the correct answer for the integration on your series is actually checking out

now what we need to do is find the center which we're to know is 5 because

that X minus C pattern and the radius of convergence is kind of set up in a

preliminary interval of convergence jot down so that but then we're gonna have

to check all the endpoints for f of X F prime of X F double prime of X and the

integral of f of X DX let me make sure the times get on my camera good thing I

checked on that time it was about the time out so we saw in the notes there

that if you find the rate the center and the radius of conversion for the

original series it's going to be the same except possibly a difference in

behavior at the endpoints you find the interval of convergence for the original

series you have the okay the center and radius of convergence for the original

series you'll have the same for all other series that you've create or find

off of with your derivative and integration process we're going to do

the the ratio test on our original function to find that center well we

know the center is 5 and that radius of conversion so we're going to do with a

ratio test the limit as n approaches infinity of a sub n plus 1 over a sub n

but my space is limited some going to go ahead and flip that that division of a

sub n up and multiply by the reciprocal right off the bat so we have a sub n

plus 1 so negative 1 n plus 1 plus 1 is n plus 2 times X minus 5 n plus 1

denominator n + 1 times 5 to the n plus 1 now a sub n plus 1 divided by a sub N

or multiplied by the reciprocal of a sub n what do we got here

we have 5 to the N power we have 5 to the N power plus 1 more 5 we have X

minus 5 to the N power we have X minus 5 to the N power plus another 1 so we have

a factor of X plus 5 in the numerator we have one more negative 1 in the

numerator than in the denominator between n plus 1 and n plus 2 and we

have the limit as n approaches infinity of the absolute value of negative 1

times n over n plus 1 times n we'll just leave that factor of x minus 5 in the

numerator make sure it's totally clear absolute value negative 1 is 1 the limit

as I know goes the limit as n goes to infinity of n over n plus 1 is going to

come out to be 1 and I forgot something yes I almost forgot my extra factor of 5

in the denominator so let's put that down here so whew didn't have to check

my notes to catch that mistake I'm doing good so the absolute value of negative

1/5 is positive 1/5 the limit again is n over n plus 1 goes to 1 so whatever and

we have the absolute value of x minus 5 that you know of course with the ratio

test that is going to be convergent if the limit as n goes to infinity of a sub

n plus 1 over a sub n is less than 1 multiply both sides by 5 we have the

absolute value of x minus 5 is less than now 5 so we have a center as we

identified very early on of 5 and a radius of convergence of 5 given us

and preliminary interval for X between 0 and 10 now that's really the end of my

introduction and lesson about how to find derivatives and integrals of power

series now what I'm going to do is step off and maybe you don't need to show as

much work as I do but this whole page is showing all of the work for testing the

endpoints of 0 and 10 for each of the four series that's it I miss a true I am

Legion | Inside Season 2: Fashioning Legion | FX - Duration: 3:12.
