BREAKING: Congress Just Called for CRIMINAL Investigation, They Found Everything! - Duration: 6:51.

BREAKING: Congress Just Called for CRIMINAL Investigation, They Found Everything!

The feud that has been simmering on a low boil for months between Congress and the Justice

Department, has finally boiled over, erupting into a full-fledged cage match this week.

Many people believe this could be the House Intelligence Committee is closing in and the

noose is ever tightening.

Most recently, 11 members of Congress are now yet again sending a signed a letter to

Attorney General Jeff Sessions, FBI Director Chris Wray, and U.S. Attorney John Huber asking

them, yet again to conduct a criminal investigation into multiple members of the Obama administration.

The letter specifically demands a criminal investigation be launched into the conduct,

and actions of former FBI Director James Comey, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,

former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and anti-Trump

FBI officials Peter Stzrok and Lisa Page.

Lawmakers wrote in a letter released by Rep. Ron DeSantis,

"In doing so, we are especially mindful of the dissimilar degrees of zealousness that

has marked the investigations into Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and the

presidential campaign of Donald Trump.

Those in positions of high authority should be treated the same as every other American."

the lawmakers stated while also insisting that any violations of law need to be "vetted

appropriately."

The lawmakers argue that Comey mishandled the criminal investigation into Hillary over

her use of a private email server, claiming that the investigation was "motivated by

a political agenda."

Subpoenas and various demands for information continue to go back and forth and until this

week, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and his subordinates at the department fought

the continued Congressional demands, for information with the tools of banal bureaucracy resist,

delay, ignore, negotiate.

Yet Rosenstein decided to kick it up a notch by recently accusing House Republicans of

"threats," extortion and wanting to "rummage" through department documents.

Meanwhile, the New York Times is dropping stories with the usual "anonymous sources"

with new accusations claiming "Mr. Rosenstein, and top FBI officials have come to suspect

that some lawmakers were using their oversight authority to gain intelligence about investigation,

so that it could be shared with the White House."

Yet clearly Rosenstein is not worried in the slightest about "rummaging" he is simply

diverting attention from the Bureau's concern, with the exact opposite conversation in that

the FBI is being required to comply with very specific and revealing, along with potentially

damaging demands.

Justice Department was recently delivered first a classified House Intelligence Committee

letter, and then a subpoena demanding documents related to a new line of inquiry about the

Federal Bureau of Investigation's Trump investigation.

The deadline for complying with the subpoena was Thursday afternoon, and the Justice Department

flouted it.

As the White House is undoubtedly monitoring any new congressional demands for information,

it is likely that President Trump's tweet Wednesday ripping the department for not turning,

over documents was in part a reference to this latest demand.

Memos from May 2017, show Rosenstein throwing Comey under the bus slamming Comey for making

"serious mistakes" throughout the course of the investigation.

"Almost everyone agrees that the Director made serious mistakes; it is one of the few

issues that unites people of diverse perspectives," Rosenstein wrote.

"The way (Comey) handled the conclusion of the email investigation was wrong."

Yet Comey has thrown former President Obama and his Attorney General Loretta Lynch under

the bus, claiming they "jeopardized" the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

In his book, A Higher Loyalty, Comey defends the FBI investigators who were charged with

investigating Hillary's private email server and her mishandling of classified information.

"I never heard anyone on our team not one take a position that seemed driven by their

personal political motivations.

And more than that: I never heard an argument or observation I thought came from a political

bias.

Never," Comey writes in his book.

"Instead we debated, argued, listened, reflected, agonized, played devil's advocate, and even

found opportunities to laugh as we hashed out major decisions."

Comey stated of Obama

"Contributing to this problem, regrettably, was President Obama.

He had jeopardized the Department of Justice's credibility in the investigation by saying

in a 60 Minutes interview on Oct. 11, 2015, that Clinton's email use was "a mistake"

that had not endangered national security.

Then on Fox News on April 10, 2016, he said that Clinton may have been careless but did

not do anything to intentionally harm national security, suggesting that the case involved

overclassification of material in the government.

President Obama is a very smart man who understands the law very well.

To this day, I don't know why he spoke about the case publicly, and seemed to absolve her

before a final determination was made.

If the president had already decided the matter, an outside observer could reasonably wonder,

how on earth could his Department of Justice do anything other than follow his lead."

Comey said Obama's public statements about the investigation "jeopardized" the investigation's

credibility in multiple interviews, and seemed to absolve Hillary of any crime before FBI

investigators completed their work.

"The truth was that the president as far as I knew, anyway he had only as much information

as anyone following it in the media.

He had not been briefed on our work at all.

And if he was following the media, he knew nothing, because there had been no leaks at

all up until that point.

But, his comments still set all of us up for corrosive attacks if the case were completed

with no charges brought."

Both Obama and Lynch have condemned Comey's interpretation of the facts, and for his accusation

that she aligned the FBI's terminology on Hillary's email case with Democratic messaging.

Lynch responded with this scathing statement,

"I have known James Comey almost 30 years.

Throughout his time as director, we spoke regularly about some of the most sensitive

issues in law enforcement and national security.

If he had any concerns regarding the email investigation, classified or not, he had ample

opportunities to raise them with me both privately and in meetings.

He never did."

Panel Discussion Tip #150 with Brian Walter: The Ideal Number of Panelists - Duration: 1:57.

Brian, what is the ideal number of panelists in a panel discussion?

Three, four, five at the most, because if you have more than that you have—a lot of

times executives would say, "Let's put our entire executive committee up there,"

and there's 14 people up there.

Now, the reality is the reason they're doing that is their saying any possible question,

we'll be able to have that person answer it.

So their intent is not bad, it's just the reality of that means the vast majority of

them will sit there awkwardly on stools and squirm.

Because they're not going to get a question or they're going to get one question.

Or, it's even going to be worse where it's like three of them are going to get 80% of

the questions and the others are sitting there going, "Why am I here…?"

It's much better to have fewer people on stage who answer more and then they do a lot

of shout outs to another person who should be—let's say it's for a company, and

you've got senior executives up there, and they get a question that doesn't actually

apply to one of the senior executives.

It's actually very cool in the moment for you to say, "Actually that's a question

for the marketing—do we have Mary?

Mary, are you here?"

"Oh, yeah here I am."

"Mary, let's do a shout out here."

So Mary stands up, or mic runner runs to her and she answers the question in an interesting

way and that's actually cool for the audience because that feels spontaneous and real once

you haven't cluttered up the stage with a cavalcade of people who don't talk.

Get a BIG Idea and Get Motivated! with Bob Proctor - Duration: 3:11.

Hello there and welcome.

I wanna talk about something right now

that a lot of people don't understand.

And because they don't understand it,

they miss out on all the good in life.

It's about motivation.

A lot of people refer to me as a motivation speaker.

I never think of myself that way.

I think more of myself as a teacher, an educator,

helping people understand how their mind functions

and how to improve the quality of their life.

Why would we have to get someone to motivate us?

Well, I guess we do because we don't motivate ourself.

How do you motivate yourself?

You motivate yourself by having an idea

that is lodged in your mind

that you're emotionally involved in,

that you want to do, that you want to accomplish,

that you wanna get, that you have never done before.

If you lack motivation, you lack life.

See, motivation is that mental state

that gets you and up and gets you going.

You become motivated.

I am a motivated person.

No one has to wind my stem.

I get it going myself the minute I open my eyes

because I've got so many things to do.

I don't have time just to sit around and play games.

I have never gone into a puzzle on my phone in my life.

I don't play games on my phone.

I don't want to play games with life.

I want to turn life into something

that is really rich and rewarding.

And if you're gonna do that, you've got to be motivated.

Well, you'll be motivated when you make up your mind

that you are going to build an idea

and then you're gonna execute that idea.

You're gonna get the idea in your mind

and you'll say, "I'm gonna do this."

Now, I'm gonna let you in on a secret.

If this idea is designed to help somebody else

improve the quality of their life,

you'll get double good out of it,

because when you help them, you've helped yourself.

Get motivated.

Build a big picture in your mind

and say, "I am going to do this.

"Come hell or high water, I am going to do this."

And turn it into fun.

And, bang, every day when you get up,

you move right into action on it.

When you see somebody dragging themself around,

they lack motivation.

But you know what they really like is a big idea.

Van Gogh was asked how he did such beautiful work.

He said, "I dream my painting and then I paint my dream."

Van Gogh was motivated.

Get a big idea.

Go execute it.

It's The END Of YouTube As We Know It - Duration: 3:19.

Hey guys, welcome back to IO, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey, in for a quick video since Charlotte stepped

out of the studio for a bit.

It's the end of YouTube as we know it… and I feel scaaaaaared.

I love me some Barenaked ladies, plus the band's pretty good too.

Ha that joke is so original!

But no more jokes, this is serious, YouTube is going through some huge changes and today

I'll talk about why.

As always, if you want to remain overloaded with information, smack that thumbs up button

and subscribe to Inform Overload.

And now...

The End.

Now I know the title of this video might seem a bit clickbaity, and I suppose it is, but

it's becoming increasingly true.

The YouTube we know and love is more and more becoming a platform for mainstream media,

with many YouTube-centred creators being pushed away from the platform.

This is particularly true of smaller creators, who are finding it increasingly difficult

to make money from their videos.

This all started with the "Ad-pocalypse", where advertising companies threatened to

withdraw from YouTube following an especially insensitive video, and this started YouTube

down the path of extreme censorship.

The thing is, so many videos are uploaded to YouTube that they can't watch them all,

so they need to cut corners.

And when they cut corners, they end up demonetizing a whole whack of videos that are actually

fine.

More recently, they've even started hiding certain videos, so that they don't go out

to the audience, which is causing still more problems.

YouTube's desire to appease the sponsors is causing it to become much more similar

to network television than the wild west that the internet used to be, and it's causing

many creators, particularly the more controversial ones, to focus less on the platform, and sometimes

leave it entirely.

Recently, Logan Paul, one of the most popular YouTubers out there right now, has ended his

daily vlogging, and his brother Jake is uploading fewer videos.

I know personally at our channel, even though we make a conscious effort to avoid demonetization,

we're still hit way too often, and it's making it really difficult to cover what we

want to cover.

Like on Top 10 Nerd we were afraid to talk about the Black Panther villain Killmonger

because he has Kill in his name.

It's frustrating, and it is really making YouTube become less and less recognizable.

Meanwhile, the more mainstream channels, particularly the late night shows like Jimmy Kimmel and

Stephen Colbert, are doing very well.

This is largely because their shows are already rather tame and censored, since they're

already on networks that force them to conform to the sponsors.

So as YouTube becomes more corporate and censored, it makes sense that these shows would be better

served than smaller creators.

So what will this mean for YouTube?

Well, as it becomes more like network TV, it's likely that we'll start to see creators

either leaving the platform, become more sponsor-friendly, or depending more on Patreon and crowd-funded

money.

This is something that has already started, and will become more prevalent if YouTube

continues making restrictive policies.

What do you guys think?

Is YouTube changing for good, or is there time to save it?

Let me know in the comment section down below.

Now there's not much time left, so I'll just do one quick comment from a past video.

SteviesFunWorld says "Ron McKenzie the Virgin.

What a name."

Man, I just don't get this.

I've tried saying it slowly, I've tried enunciating, and yet on every single channel I'm on, so

many people hear "Ron McKenzie The Virgin" instead of Lefurgey.

Le.

Fur.

Gey.

But hey, at least you didn't call me Rob.

That's it for today guys, hope you enjoyed and hopefully you didn't fall for this one

too!

If you like the cut of our jib, smack that thumbs up button and subscribe to IO to remain

overloaded with that sweet sweet information.

Make sure to check out this video about the Hawaii volcano eruption.

Or maybe this one about contacting aliens!

But first, maybe head down to the comment section to let me know what you think of this

story, tell a joke, tell a riddle, or just say hi!

I'll see you guys in the comments, and in the next video.

Later taters!

Hubsan H122D X4 "Storm" Review & Flight - Duration: 8:17.

Spring is finally here and so is my X4 H122D "Storm", the latest multirotor from veteran

Chinese manufacturer Hubsan.

After focusing on more autonomous models for a while, the H122D marks a return to sportier

quadcopters for the company, similar to their much appreciated original X4.

The H122D is a brushed, outdoor micro quadcopter marketed as an FPV racer.

It's comes fully assembled, either ready-to-fly with a transmitter, battery and charger or

extra ready-to-fly with all of that plus a pair of FPV goggles.

I've got the former kit, currently selling for a reasonable $80.

Let's check it out!

Welcome to this review and flight test of the X4 H122D Storm FPV quadcopter from Hubsan!

Hubsan is marketing the X4 H122D Storm as an FPV racer and it's got a look to match.

From the carbon fiber frame to the tiltable camera, the design feels heavily inspired

by hobby grade racing quads.

Like these, the H122D is also significantly heavier and – from my experience – more

durable than most brushed quadcopters.

In the front of the quadcopter, you'll find a bright white light (supposedly to help with

orientation when flying line-of-sight), in the back two convenient indicator LEDs (the

left showing battery status, the right binding status) and on the sides a microSD memory

card slot and a micro USB port respectively.

The former is for storing on-board photo and video captures, but the latter isn't mentioned

at all in the instruction manual.

One would assume it's for upgrading or otherwise interfacing with the firmware of the flight

controller, but – at least at the time of this review – Hubsan's website doesn't

list any compatible downloads for the model.

On the underside of the quadcopter you'll also find a so-called "buzzer", designed

to start beeping as soon as the quadcopter – once bound – loses contact with the

transmitter.

This can be a real life-saver, as I think anyone who has ever crashed a small quadcopter

in tall grass or similar scrubby terrain can testify.

The H122D uses a 2 blade, direct-drive setup with 1 centimeter diameter brushed motors

(so bigger than I usually deal with on this channel).

The motors connect to the flight board using micro JST connectors, which means replacing

them requires no soldering.

At least at the time of this review, replacements are readily available, along with many other

spare parts.

The quadcopter's FPV setup involves the already mentioned tiltable camera in front

and a clever foldable dipole antenna in the back.

As for camera resolution, transmission power, field of view etc.

I can't tell you much as Hubsan are strangely tight-lipped about the specifications in the

instruction manual and on their website.

We're just going to have to rely on the flight test instead.

Overall the design of the Hubsan X4 H122D Storm feels well thought out with a level

of quality and attention to detail I didn't expect at this price point.

It also looks great, in my opinion!

The H122D comes with a battery consisting of two LiPo cells of the same high voltage

variety as discussed in a previous video, evident from the indicated 7.6 (as opposed

to 7.4) nominal voltage.

The battery doesn't have a power lead, instead both charging and discharging is done via

the balance plug.

Charging it using the included USB cable takes well over one, maybe even two hours.

The H122D also comes with a transmitter which looks very similar to the one included with

models from Hubsan's H216 and 507 series.

The protocol is the same and has already been reverse-engineered, meaning multiprotocol

transmitters with a recent version of the Deviation firmware and a built-in A7105 RF

module should be able to control the quadcopter.

The transmitter itself is… alright.

Despite looking simple, it actually supports basic telemetry and will start beeping incessantly

when the quadcopter's battery is running low.

My only real complaint with it is that you have to extend this holder thingy in order

to tell if it's on.

A display and some basic programmability, like on older Hubsan transmitters, would also

have been nice.

Apart from quadcopter, battery and transmitter, the H122D comes with a USB charging cable,

a set of spare propellers and a tiny screwdriver.

If you want to, you can go big and get the "Goggles Version" for another $50 which

also includes a pair of Hubsan's box goggles with a basic detachable FPV monitor.

The included quick start guide is very professional and really helps sets Hubsan apart from your

run-of-the-mill Chinese toy grade manufacturer, but just like in the last review there's

a lot of information missing from it.

A more complete instruction manual can be downloaded from the website, but doesn't

come included with the package.

I think every Hubsan multirotor I've ever flown has handled well and the X4 H122D Storm

is no exception.

Despite its relatively heavy weight and brushed motors the quadcopter is completely satisfactory

in terms of both power and flight times, averaging around 5-6 minutes even in quite chilly weather.

As cold is known to negatively affect LiPo battery performance, you should be able to

expect even longer flights under more temperate conditions.

If you come directly from a winter of flying ducted indoor quadcopters, you're in for

an adjustment.

Firstly, the motors have to be armed and disarmed just like on brushless multirotors.

Secondly, because of its weight, the quadcopter keeps its momentum much longer, meaning you'll

be "drifting" a lot more when turning.

This took me a couple of flights to get used to!

Since there is no way to configure the flight controller the flight characteristics are

set by one of two predefined rates, which you switch between by clicking the right stick

on the transmitter.

These are well-measured and distinct (the second is crazy fast!), but they both use

angle mode.

At the time of this review, I don't know of any way to customize the rates or access

acro mode on the quadcopter.

(Clicking the left stick performs automatic flips, by the way.)

The H122D may be the first multirotor I review to allow simultaneous FPV transmission and

onboard recording.

Here I've put the recording from the quadcopter and the one from my Eachine VR D2 Pro diversity

goggles (both 720p) side by side.

The onboard recording may not be Hollywood material, but it's sure better than the

signal the goggles end up receiving and – obviously – isn't subject to any interference.

One serious problem though, that may not come across very well in the video, is that the

FPV video feed has latency and framerate issues, similar to though not as bad as previously

reviewed Wi-Fi FPV solutions.

Needless to say this really interferes with the flying and while you do get somewhat used

to it I still think it's unacceptable for a quadcopter marketed as an FPV racer!

Otherwise the FPV experience feels largely the same as with other micro setups I've

tested, which in that case would indicate Hubsan is using a 25 mW video transmitter

and a camera with a field-of-view in the 100-120 degrees range.

I've seen videos showing basic on-screen display (or OSD) information, but it seems

like this feature is tied to and thus requires Hubsan's own monitor/goggles.

All in all, the Hubsan X4 H122D Storm is a great flying, well designed, feature-rich

quadcopter with a reasonable price, but despite all these positives I don't really feel

that I can recommend it due to the noticeable latency and limited framerate of the FPV video

feed.

Of course your mileage may vary depending on what surroundings you're flying in and

how sensitive you are to it, but it did put a real damper on my overall experience.

While I can't fully get behind the H122D at the time of this review, I should note

Hubsan could potentially address the lag and framerate issues with a future firmware update.

As noted, the quadcopter does have an onboard USB port, so this should at least be theoretically

possible.

If so, the H122D would become a hard-to-beat ready-to-fly FPV kit.

Hey there and thank you for watching this video, which was actually almost lost in a

hard drive failure.

Anyway, if you noticed something I missed, failed to mention or got wrong, feel free

to leave a comment.

I'll put any corrections in the description.

Alright, see you later.

Bye!

DIY Cutting Board Without Jointer, Planer, or Drum Sander - Duration: 12:21.

Hey everybody it's Tyler with Tapper and we are doing that perennial woodworkers

favorite the cutting board. You will have to excuse me because as you can see this

probably isn't going to turn out to be an end grain cutting board, it will probably

ruin all my knives and dull everything horribly, but I think we'll

live through it. As per usual at this point I don't really have a plan for the

project but a good place to start seemed to be to cut this in half. I did want to

put that piece of wenge going straight down the middle of it so i'm

marking out the center point drawing reference line and then ripping it on

the table saw. So for awhile I'd been resisting the idea of doing a cutting

board because I don't have the tools that make doing a cutting board

relatively easy. I don't have a thickness planer, I don't have a joiner, I

don't have a drum sander, so as such it's a little bit of extra work for me

because I'm gonna have to do a lot more sanding. I'm also making sure that all

the wood and the lumber that I pick is about the

same thickness so I'm not going to have that much sanding to do when I finish it

up. The tool I'm using here is a biscuit joiner and this is one of those gems of

Harbor Freight. I don't think you need to pay a lot of money for a good one, this

has served me really well over the years. a lot of times with cutting boards

people will just make sure that the surfaces are really flat and even and

just glue them straight together without any kind of joinery.

I wanted to have a little bit of extra assurance on this because I knew

that the joints weren't going to be extremely tight since I was using a table saw.

Also the grain is all over the place usually you want to make sure

that the grain is all going the same direction. so especially with the cutting

board where it is going to get wet, it's going to grow and shrink.

Some times if you don't take that into account

you will get cracking down the road. I haven't with this and I think part of

its due to using all these biscuit joints in there so you get a lot

more glue surface area and a lot more strength against it stretching and moving

around with the looser joints.

This is that old adage where you could never have too many clamps.

You can really bend out a lot of the tiny little imperfections if you use

enough clamps with enough force on these.

With the glue dry its time to true up all of the edges on here. I

spent a lot of time on the sled making sure it was right at 90 degrees so it

can cut pretty accurately, so I'm going around all the edges and making sure

it's a perfect square.

I figured I could do

something cool with the design ,

I rummaged around in the scrap wood section I had found these pieces of koa

that I had found that were thrown out of a shop as scrap when I was in Hawaii quite

a few years back. They've been floating around the shop and they were the right

thickness for this so I decided to go ahead and use them for little accent

putting this on the board I thought this was going

to be a relatively easy glue up but this is one of those glue ups that just did

not go right. I figured I'd clamp it down to a board then put pressure on

the top and squeeze it up to the bottom board. I couldn't

get it to work. A good trick for irregular surfaces if you can't get a

clamp to work is to just use a bunch of electrical tape. turns out this is a

really good way to use that crap electrical tape that's not very sticky

because it doesn't have to be to be a clamp for wood. There's a lot of stretch

to it still so if you wrap it tight around there you can get a lot of

clamping force out of it. You don't want to wrap too many times around there you

wanna make sure there's air flow in there so it'll dry but other than that

it works like a charm. I didn't wait overnight for it to try

It just needed it to set up well enough so I could move on to the

next step. apparently looking back at the video

babywearing was helpful for that and yes before you freak out I did take him off

before I started using the table saw. When I was messing around with the

pieces I thought it would be pretty cool to put them back together so that Center

stripe was misaligned and the would be offset to each other so that's

what I was doing. I cut off those tips so I knew exactly where

to align it all. Every opportunity I had I

came back and I thinned down the koa wood so I

would have less sanding to do at the end, so everything would fit together a

little bit tighter. On to more biscuit joining. I couldn't figure out why it

didn't work turns out plugging this in was helpful.

Other than keeping it plugged in the only thing you kind of have to keep in mind

is that when you set the depth of these biscuits you want to make sure that

it's always on the same plane that the bottom is going to be the bottom on each

side so it's not offset top to bottom at all. I made that mistake one time where I

was kind of far into a project and I didn't have that completely centered in

the middle of the board. I had one of the pieces flipped over but to put it

back together and there was a step in there, and man that really ruins your day.

Anytime you have a diagonal glue up it's a little bit tricky, put a little bit of

pressure on it in two directions like that and then you can start really

clamping stuff down you just got to make sure that it can't slide on

itself. after that glue joint was good and dry it was back to the table saw

back to the sled so I can get a bunch of those 90-degree angles and turn this

into a perfect square again. I'm checking it with a square because it's going to

start becoming pretty critical as I lay things around the perimeter of this that

everything is still 90 degrees. here's a close look at the surface finish, it's

amazing how much standing this is going to take to make it exactly flush. for the

perimeter I found this bird's-eye maple that was at the right thickness. It had a

little bit of routing on the edge of it since I was using it for another project that

didn't quite work out. I set it to the exact thickness that I want to make it

and start running it through, ripping it down the table saw. all that texture you

see on the edge there isn't going to matter because I know I'm going to route

over the edges and that stuff will route out I just have to make sure they

pointed towards the outside of the board when I'm gluing it together.

when I'm buying lumber I know a lot of people try and look for as perfect

lumber as they can find. a lot of times what I gravitate towards, because I like

how it looks in the finished project, is stuff that is a little bit rougher

when there's tear like that it seems like you kind of get some kind of

cool variations in the grain of it and I like that in the finished product

I don't like when it looks super uniform. I got that maple cut and I realized that I

had a bunch more of this koa wood. I thought that it would be kind of cool to

do one extra frame around it for one more one more layer on it, so did the one

side, glued it, let it dry, and cut the ends flush with it. then i got the other

side glued on there so just like before so I can save myself from sanding I'm

taking off the tall edges and getting it pretty flush with a hand plane.

and honestly just making all these shavings is so

much more gratifying than using an orbital sander. I came back and

trimmed everything off made sure all those corners were at 90 degrees. I made

sure there was no overhangs and create gaps you can see I used that chisel to make

really exact marks on where I needed the table saw to cut it throughout this

project. I don't think I used a tape measure once on this project. I was just doing all

of the measurements relative and off of the pieces I'm working with. I don't

know, I find a lot of time that it's a lot easier for me not to make

errors because there's an extra step and if something's one and a half inches and

then you go there you have to measure the piece make sure that you're

measuring accurately then measure where you're putting it measure where you're

cutting it if you just reference it off of the piece that that you're working

with there's just kind of one less thing in between there. Now of

course there's projects where that won't work. there's some times where you need

to fit something into a place in the environment if you're making a cabinet

or something like that but with the cutting board you're laying it on

the counter and nobody's gonna know whether it's 12" or 12 1/2"

but they are going to look at how everything lines

and how everything looks to the eye so that's the important part

Finally getting to the last glue up and the final disc joining. every time

I use the biscuit joiner I always make sure to pre assemble these. it can be a

little bit tedious but you do find a lot of errors in your work

or maybe there's a little bit of sawdust stuck in one of these holes

and if you throw glue on there and you start trying to just throw right

together the first time inevitably something won't line up and you'll have

to go back and wipe everything out and it's it's just better to pre assemble just

to make sure everything fits. you might be wondering why I left those boards long

on the end. it was because I at this point still thought I might be able to

make it over to a friend's place before I finish this to run it through a planer

I wasn't able to but I figured that if I had those runners on it it might help

eliminate snipe on the end of it. so I'm using this thick piece of walnut on the bottom for

two reasons. first reason is, again I like to tie everything together with all

those grains going all those different directions and the moisture that's gonna

be inherent in the cutting board I wanted something to stabilize it. I think

this might be another reason why I haven't had any issues with that and the

other side of it is it just looks more substantial when it has that extra

thickness to it. to help with that feel in the hand I'm going to route all of

the edges over. I'm just doing a 45 degree along the bottom. I like doing

this when something's gonna be sitting against something because it makes it

look like it's floating a little bit. so when it's on the counter it gives it a

sense of depth. for the top, because I had that one piece where I had that knock

out of the grain and i wanted to anyway

just so it felt a little bit better. I'm coming over here with a round over

bit and not doing it as aggressively as I did on the bottom. another cool

thing by using a round over bit on curly maple is it really exposes the kind of

depth of that curl. I'm sure you can see how excited I am for even more sanding

off-camera to get everything into level on the top at the bottom before I glued

it I used a belt sander and then I came up with the orbital up through 80-220

420 and I think I went all the way up to 600 with it so all. the pain of the

sanding is instantly forgotten when you start putting the finish on there for

this one since it's going to be in contact with food using a food-safe watco

butcher's block oil. If the finish does get messed up a

little bit you can do a quick sanding over it reapply it if you need to. in the

couple of years since I've made this we honestly haven't used this a whole

lot but the finish has held up really well. So one thing that I still haven't

done to this board that I need to, is they make these little feet that are

silicone and they will screw into the bottom of the board. unlike the

stick on one so they're really durable and stay on there and they'll raise it

up off the counter so you have to worry about water pooling and sitting

underneath it. although I have put out other videos, just because of the order in

which I edited them, this actually was my first stab at a cutting board. I think it

turned out pretty well I would like to try an end grain one at some point in

time and explore it more especially if I get some more tools to make it a little

easier. so I thank you guys so much for taking the time out to watch my video as

always like, subscribe, and if you know anybody that would like this video share

it that really helps me out, and I will see you guys next time!

hey everybody I want to let you know that I'm starting up a patreon campaign if you guys are

feeling generous I'd love it if you'd check down in the description there's a

Infinity War: The Movie that Wrecked My Heart - Duration: 26:45.

Where do I

Where do I even start? I don't know! I don't know anymore!

um

I'm Morgan M Steele. I am a teenage author and I have seen Infinity War twice now. It's been out for like a week.

Yeah, I've seen it twice. Maybe it's been two weeks.

No, it's like a week. Anyway, it's been out for a week, and I've seen it twice and I took notes the second time

So this is these are my thoughts on the film, and I thought... because I do love movies a lot

I want to in college. I want to be a cinematographer and

you know major in film and like start to do some

behind the scenes stuff cuz I really I really do love films and how they're made and so I thought maybe I would start reviewing

some of them

That I've seen that I love

Or that I hate

so

Before I say anything further about the movie that wrecked my heart um

If you have not seen it, please do not watch this video, please

Please do not watch this video because I'm about to get all up in them spoilers. I'm not holding back at all

I'm just gonna get right into it so if you haven't seen it leave

And come back when you have I don't know how else to put that okay

So I have a list of things I liked and the things I disliked I will do

Oh, and questions that are unanswered

Okay, so before we

Get into any of that other stuff. Okay? Here's the list of all of the characters that we love that die

Just to wreck your heart before we get started you know okay?

Loki, Heimdall, The Collector

Didn't show it, but I'm pretty

Sure, he's dead. I'm like

97.5% sure the collector is dead

Gamora, Vision (two times) Bucky, Black Panther, Groot

Wanda, Sam, Mantis, Drax, Star-Lord, Doctor Strange, Peter Parker, Nick Fury, and Maria Hill

It looks like Guardians of the Galaxy Three is just gonna be Rocket Raccoon with a jar full of dirt

The rest of them all turn to dust except for Gamora, who fell off a cliff, but I mean

Is that better?

Anyway, okay, so let's start with things I liked um I

Thought war machine was great. He didn't have too much screen time, but he was just

quality character um Wong

obviously he's like one of the best I

Love him a lot. I love Loki's "we have a Hulk" line. I thought that was great. It was good

parallelism to like the first Avengers movie

Um I love Loki, his very very short short appearance. They killed him five minutes in I was like oh, it's gonna

Be that kind of movie. Oh okay Wow they weren't kidding hey

You're not playing. They're not playing around. It's real um oh

The fact that Tony wants kids and he was talking to pepper about like wanting a kid. I was like oh my god

Wow, my heart um. I love Ned. Peter Parker's friend

I can't remember his last name. I know his last name, it's just.

I'll google it. I'll put it up

Um I love Harrison Osterfield's little appearance

He was an extra in the bus

Okay um I love Tony Stark's line "earth is closed today" when the aliens come down. I loved

"You're embarrassing me in front of the Wizards" Tony Stark had a lot of good lines this time

I really I really thoroughly enjoyed him

Oh Wong saves his life and Tony says "Wong you're invited to my wedding" like he just had a bunch of them um

I just wrote

"Peter Parker" like I was writing this in a dark theater so some of it is kind of messy and some of it is my

Brother's writing he was like "Gimme that"

He made some notes

So yeah, I just wrote Peter Parker cause he's my son and I love him

I

Love the subtitle that goes across the screen when the Guardians enter the film

And it just says "space" I was like okay

I love that they called Thor an angel pirate

I love the Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth interactions. That was so funny

So great anytime you got two of the Chrises together. It was really funny. The little bit with Hemsworth and Evans was really good, too

I

Loved that Thor calls rocket rabbit

That was really funny. I love Scarlet Witch and visions

relationship, I really do I was really afraid that they wouldn't get them where they needed to be chemistry-wise but in the

few scenes they had together, it was really meaningful. I love their connection.

They really care about each other. It's nice.

I have

You can tell I was tired when I wrote these because I think this means that Captain America showed up because I just wrote murica

F yeah

Except I didn't just write the letter F. Huh I was very excited when

My boy showed up

Team cap forever I actually I really adored

Thanos's

Motivation

they

They did a really cool thing

I

Don't know there aren't very many Marvel villains that stick with me, and I think he's definitely going to be one of them

that sticks with me

He I

Don't even know his

Motivation is he thinks the universe is overpopulated and to fix this

He thinks the best possible thing to do is kill off half of

the universe of people and

So he goes on this quest to get all of the Infinity stones

You know where that goes I?

Don't know

He just, his scenes with Gamora

Where he actually like cared about someone

Obviously he doesn't do it in the right way because he's abusive and he he tortures people

He's

not a good person

He's a villain so he's not supposed to be a good person, but they did

You know he was all he cared about was balance and all he cared about was keeping the universe balanced and making it balanced

and

He saw himself as a hero and all of the best villains

Do they see themselves as heroes and so I really I really adored his motivation

I wrote just bullet point Gamora. I also loved

That she and star-lord finally said I love you to each other. I love Drax

Always, but especially at the scene where he was like

Well I'm invisible now and that whole interaction was great "how long have you been standing there?"

He's like "an hour" I thought that was good. Um there are more dislikes on this page

but I'm gonna skip them and come back, okay, so

right on top of the next page: Shuri

Love her with all my heart. God bless um

The scene where she's like "well Why didn't you just blah blah blah and do this with the the neurons"

And Bruce is like "Cuz we...didn't uh...think of that?"

Of course you didn't. She's a genius. She's smarter than you, Mr. Banner

dr. Banner

I second bullet point: WAKANDA in all capital letters because I love Wakanda

Bucky's new metal arm really super cool

At one point they used the Wilhelm scream, which I thought was really funny it was when

Squidward I don't know his real name got sucked out the window

They use that scream, but it was kind of quiet, so you couldn't hear it unless you were like listening for it

but it was in there and I

That's just the thing that I like okay. I love nebula I always have

Great

I love that Thor speaks Groot. I think that's hilarious. He's like yeah. I took it on Asgard. It was an Elective.

It's like yeah. Of course it was. I love that he speaks Groot. I

There's this scene where star-lord and

crew meet up with Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, and Peter Parker and

star-lord says something about Thor being not that good-looking and it's really subtle

It's really quick. You would definitely miss it if you weren't looking for it, but Peter Parker

My boy Tom Holland he just he makes this face

When he says that that Thor is unattractive, I was like yeah

You know what? Me too, buddy.

I love

Vormir

It is where Thanos picks up the soul stone, and it is gorgeous

There's like this Eclipse

Sunset thing going on there's water and like a mountain

It is gorgeous

I don't know why, but I just I really

Really really really really

Really loved Vormir. It was so pretty um I love Okoye. I think that's how you pronounce her name

The one- she plays Michonne on The Walking Dead I

Love her so much. I love her character. I love when she says

When they get to Wakanda and she says what

"Well I didn't think opening up Wakanda would be like this"

T'Challa says well, what did you expect? and she was like "oh the Olympics maybe a Starbucks." I thought that was really great oh

Okay. I didn't know what I meant here at first. It's written in shorthand.

Black Panther has this line and its really good foreshadowing

And you wouldn't notice it unless you went back and watched it another time or if you had the spoilers going it?

How everyone dies is that they turn into dust and?

So T'Challa has this line where he says something along the lines of if

Thanos

Comes here all he'll get are

dust and blood and

Dang

Dang that was good foreshadowing. I really I really appreciated that um I love

That Groot used his arm as the handle on Thor's new axe that was cool. I

Love love love love love love Thor's entrance to Wakanda with the lightning

And he does this thing with his eyes and the whole screen gets like dark and it's him and like lightning. Oh my god

That was great that was really cool. Um I loved the interaction between Groot and Steve

I thought that was really funny because Groot says "I am Groot" and Steve says "I am Steve Rogers"

And I thought that was really funny

Wanda

her bad I

Can't say that on my youtube channel

I'll censor it. It's fine um

But she had a really

Good moment. Where she finally got out on the battlefield and she left vision and

She fought she is so powerful because her powers come from an infinity stone they come from the mind stone and

She's just- Oh my God- Scarlet Witch is one of my favorites

Honestly, she is one of my favorite superheroes ever

Um, and then Maybe Captain America

I

Say is that where he Captain America shirt a Captain America necklace standing in front of Captain America

He's not my favorite; it's Scarlet Witch um I also- the last bullet point I have for likes

but there's so many more that I did like I

Love the moment where Wanda kind of gets in a pickle

Okoye and

natasha

Are there and I don't remember who said it?

someone says something to her like about

Her being alone and they say she is not alone on that they kick her butt and it's three

women

together

fighting

Makes me really super happy because as a woman who likes comic books. We really don't have that many

Strong women compared to the men I mean we do have Black Widow and Scarlet Witch and Okoye and Shuri

Maybe a little bit anyway

But when you compare it to

the men

You know on guardians you have well. There's two girls there now which is great wonderful

step in the right direction, but before that you had Gamora and

Four guys

On the Avengers in the original Avengers movie you had Black Widow and five guys. You know you

I just need more women

On to the dislikes

This is written in Dylan's handwriting, which is why I cannot read it but

He wrote that cap and Iron Man don't talk and they don't they don't interact I agree with him

I think that they should have

At least had a little nod at each other, but they just weren't in the right place at the right time

Dylan said that Red Skull is played by a different actor, and I didn't notice that till the second time I saw it

I'm gonna Google that

and put the results up there

But I don't know how true that is

Oh

There was nothing this is just a personal thing. This isn't an issue with the movie, but they had both of the Sherlock's together. They had a Tony Stark

And Benedict Cumberbatch...Doctor Strange

Together for a while and both of those actors have played Sherlock Holmes at some point so I expected

One of them to make a remark along the lines of "no blank Sherlock", you know, and it didn't happen

Wanda's accent disappeared I

Don't know where it went

I don't know if she was just undercover. You know I

Don't think those just

Go away. I mean they might. I don't know much about accidents I

Don't know um

I didn't really care for Nat's hair

It's really superficial of me to say

But um. I I don't know I prefer it red this is just a personal preference on the other hand I really loved

Wanda's hair I thought the red looked really good on her anyway um I

did not like

Thanos' favoritism for one daughter over the other

I thought that was kind of hypocritical it's kind of hypocritical because he talks about balance all the time

But he likes one daughter way more than the other like I don't think that's balanced

so

but he's abusive so it's okay um I

Hate general Ross that is just a note that's not even a problem with the movie because I feel like you're supposed to hate him

But I don't like him so I wrote that down um

There was one moment and it was BruceNat and I knew it was gonna happen

Because you can't just have it happen in age of Ultron and then like ignore it for the rest of eternity even though

Pietro kind of happened in age of Ultron and

You know they've been ignoring that and they couldn't make a mention of

Quicksilver

but

Hey, they referenced

BuckyNat, not BuckyNat, BruceNat

Anyway they don't talk about Quicksilver, but they made a nod at the relationship between

Bruce Banner and Natasha Romanoff, and I did not need it, so I don't know I don't like that relationship

I

Did not like the lack of Hawkeye

They mentioned it one time I'm assuming

He's gonna show up in ant-man

Or the end credits scene of Captain Marvel like he's gonna show up at some point

I I feel it in my fangirl bones like he's gonna come

but I

don't know I feel like maybe he should have showed up at the end, but

I don't know. They'll do something really cool

So I'm not too worried about that um the trading a life conversation and someone else talked about this in their review

I think it was the HISHE Review

You know they're like "vision you can't trade your life for all of these people" but Steve

Did that. The Avengers kind of do that every time they leave their house?

They're risking their life for the lives of many

Pietro laid down his life for

You know the little boy in sokovia

and Hawkeye

I I don't know I just

in terms of arguments that could have been made like I understand that you don't want to die right then for like plot reasons, but

We're not trading your life for the lives of trillions like

Okay, but you probably should

One android robot I

Don't know anyway

Okay

red skulls accent disappeared -

It was it was the case of the missing accents because red skull does make an appearance that was a really cool surprise

And it kind of confirmed a theory I had earlier

But not entirely I thought all of the other villains that died because of Infinity stones like Ronan died because of the powers stone

Ultron died because of the mind stone

Red Skull died because of the space stone, so I thought that they would be like trapped inside them I feel like

The dwarf died because of the aether the evil dwarf from Thor. I don't- not dwarf, Elf. He was a dark elf

the Ninth Doctor

I

I

feel like he died because of the aether, but I do not remember

It's the Reality stone

Yeah, I

Thought they would be in the stones and the Thanos would use them

to

fight yeah

But it didn't happen um I wrote that there wasn't enough Bucky. There was an adequate amount of Bucky. He had

Three short scenes

really short it was like when he got his new arm when he saw Steve and

The end...

Dot dot dot so I thought it could have used a little more

I thought maybe he should have interacted with some the others. I don't know.

And there was no big

team

Shot you know like they do with the Avengers and the first one

It was just kind of like a little circle around them when they were standing in New York looking up at the city

In the second one it was this big

Spread out shot in the the church in the center of sokovia

Guarding

The machine that Ultron built

And I thought that was really cool

And I know that they're gonna put it in the sequel

But it wasn't in this one and it made me sad so I wrote about this okay um

Questions that I still have

I feel like some of these might have been answered by the Russos

Is korg okay, I think they said that Valkyrie is okay?

So that's why I didn't write that down because I was worried about her - I love my my women my my bisexual women

I have a flag up there you can see the blue, but you can't see the purple or the pink

So I was hoping that she was okay because

I'm pretty sure she's like the only bisexual

that's there unless you count Loki, but he died so I

Don't know if Loki's bi or not, but I feel like he could be like out of anyone

He would be the most likely to be the bisexual anyway

Is Wong okay? We didn't see what happened to Wong I care about my boy. Is Ned okay? is my boy Ned okay?

Do we know?

We don't know. That's why I'm scared.

So the gauntlet is broken after Thanos snapped, and he used it and it's all like

Burned?

Do the stones still work? I mean we're gonna find out um Oh

Big thing when

vision died the second time so he dies twice Wanda blasts his stone into pieces the first time and he

Explodes and then Thanos reverses time brings him back and kills him again this time by ripping the mind stone out of his forehead

But when he died the second time his body was left, and he is in Wakanda and Shuri. I hope she's okay

I don't know if I put- Oh, that' s the next question on the list.

But um

We never saw if Shuri was okay

So I'm really hoping she is because if anyone can fix him it would be her like she's a genius. I feel like

They left his body there for a reason, so I'm feeling like he can come back um

Where is Sif? We have she wasn't in Ragnarok the other warriors three died in Ragnarok which is a different rant but?

Yeah, I was just really worried about her

Is she okay does she exist anymore I don't know um

Yeah one last thing I wanted to say was that I noticed that

they

left original Avengers

They left the original Avengers, and I thought that all of them were goners so

It was it was mostly for the most part

It was the new guys that died it was Bucky and Falcon and Peter Parker and Black Panther

and you know they're gonna come back because

Capitalism and money and stuff

But

All of the original Avengers survived Natasha was okay, Bruce is okay?

Thor was okay Steve was okay, Tony was okay, Tony was the only wall not Titan that survives and

Well nebula also was on titan. I forgot that she was there, but

Tony

survived

and Hawkeye wasn't in it so

The original six as far as we know are okay

And I'm you know I'm waiting for hawkeye to bust in the second movie with little

Nathaniel Pietro attached to his chest like ready to fire some arrows

because I'm in denial and his baby better be okay.

Or I will be mad

Actually...Nathaniel is probably four now.

Still better be okay, or I will be mad anyway. Yeah, so those are my thoughts

On Infinity War

I'm going to see it again

tomorrow

Yeah

Those are my thoughts

Those are what I think

If you liked this I'll try to do some more

Nerdy movie discussions in the future in other news. I am trying real hard

Real hard to get BTS tickets on Monday

with one of my friends

We don't know

It's gonna sell out quick because I feel like they're a lot more famous this year than they were last year

they were well known last year, but when they went on tour I

Think billboards had happened by that point

But the AMAs and New Year's didn't and so all of their promotions from that really gave them a good kick also

so I

It's gonna be really hard to get tickets

But I'm gonna try I would really like to go see my boys

That would really make me happy

My

BT21 pillows came in I ordered Koya and Chimmy, and they're not official

But they are really nice. They were on Amazon for like

16 bucks instead of 43 so I thought that was a good deal

And I bought them and they're very cute and very soft

And they're way bigger than I thought like I thought they would be smaller than this

But they're really big, realy nice

And I love them.

So yeah

Subscribe if you like me

If not...don't.

I

Have an Instagram I have a Twitter. I have a Facebook page

my books are on Amazon my book and my Play are on Amazon so

If you want to read those

Go on down there.

Other than that, I will see you next week.

Shout Out Monday Evening - O SCALE - Duration: 10:53.

here we go with another shout out Monday evening and today is May the 7th 2018

and today's acronym is some O scale so let's see who we're going to talk about

and what we're going to talk about today

I'm Tom Kvichak and this is Toms Trains and Things this channel was

created to help other modelers who are in need of guidance in pursuing their

dream of building a model railroad and today we're going to talk about somebody

that is in a skill that's why the acronym is some O scale let me write this

down or let me read this what I wrote down about the acronym and where did I

put that fell on this page okay here we go

shout Monday evening offer some creative aspect like education and that's what

our topic is going to be about after we talk about somebody that is in a scale

but before we get to that we're going to ask you to hit that subscribe button if

you haven't done so already if you'd like what you see if you don't like what

you see go ahead and hit that thumbs down button like those three people do

all the time they didn't do it the last time no but if you like what you see go

ahead and hit that subscribe button and while you're at it being that thing that

bell and that will notify you whenever I have a new video coming out and you

could also check my playlist where I have a lot of different videos

categorized in those playlists so it's easy for you to find so let's get going

with who we are going to feature today and if you didn't already know he's an

arrow scaler so let's see who we're talking about here and it's none other

than Eric strains Erich Segal he's been doing this for a long time and he has a

lot of good information on his channel as you could see pulling up the videos

here and he just has page after page after page of videos of good information

even if you don't do Lionel or MTH you can still learn a lot from

he has in these videos here he's got a lot of them a lot of good information a

lot of good reviews on everything and if you are doing Lion L&M th you'll learn a

lot on here about what Erich Segal is talking about and he also has a web page

that you could see right here is Twitter account but it goes to if I click on

it'll go to my Twitter account so he can add that up there wrong I guess he's got

a Facebook page and a Google+ but here's his web page right there and he's got

some good stuff on here laya video library web cams the trains online store

services frequently asked question link social contact you've got a lot of good

stuff on air it's set up really well but here we go

Eric's trains go ahead and hit his subscribe button because he's got a lot

of useful information on there you could learn a lot on there and that's why I

have stuff about education in the acronym because you would like to see

educational items on here you want to come on here and learn about things and

that's I have a rent in a few minutes but anyway go ahead and hit his

subscribe button while you're at it ding his Bell so you could be notified

whenever he has a new video coming out he's already got over 30,000 subscribers

and you could see why because he has a lot of good stuff on there it's got over

16 million views on his videos so he's been doing it a while and he's got a lot

of good information there so go check him out

now what I wanted to talk about is education and there's been a lot of

things going on on YouTube and on model railroad forums lately now it hasn't

been lately it's been going on for a long time

you always have these modelers who badmouth other modelers who turn away

the younger modelers on their I've had so many people write me emails to say

what do I do about these people on there they say what I ask them a question and

they say oh your stuff isn't models it's just toys just because these people

aren't modeling the same thing you are doesn't mean that you have to trash them

and discourage them from entering into the Hobby everybody has to start out

someplace it is not beneficial for you to be telling people that yours is the

only way that you don't know what you're doing that's why people come on the

forums and ask questions because they don't know and they expect to get some

help on there but you got these few people now most of the people on there

do give the help but you have always have those few people on there that just

go on and say blah blah blah if you don't do it this way that's not the best

way this is what I've seen this and and if you don't go under and look at your

look at your rails with a microscope and see the scratches on there you're doing

it the wrong way blah who cares

encourage the people encourage the newcomers to do what they want to do not

what you want to do you want to do what you want to do is good for you but it

may not be any good for anybody else so that's what I always tell everybody is

whatever you choose to do that is fine you do what you want to do because it's

your hobby have fun with it I used to go onto forums all the time but lately I

just got discouraged about going on any of them anymore because all the people

on there with their negative attitudes this is a hobby you're supposed to enjoy

it don't discourage people on there don't tell them they're doing things

wrong don't do this don't do that that's all you ever hear

you have people trash in certain products because they had a bad

experience with it well they probably had a bad experience with it because

they didn't read the directions were too impatient to read the directions and do

it the proper way so they're trashing the product because they didn't spend

the time to take a look at it and install the pieces properly if you would

take the time to do it read the directions and if you have

problems ask for help and maybe you might get a hold of somebody that might

give you some help not like you where you have come on and

trashed something because you didn't ask for help and you didn't care about

getting help you just wanted to run the first time you just want everything to

be perfect the first time and if it doesn't you're gonna say that product is

no good that's a bunch of baloney bol oh gee and a help the new modelers

instead of discouraging them that's all I gotta say help them out because they

need to help you don't need to be discouraging them you don't need to be

turning them away from the model railroading community give them the help

that they asked for be kind to them it's hard enough getting into the Hobby it's

expensive they need to know the tricks and tips that you have to offer instead

of keeping it to yourself and saying I ain't tellin nobody what I'm doing bull

give them the help I don't care if nobody helped you nobody helped me but

I'm sharing every all the information that I know about and I think everybody

else should also why not that's the end of my rant thank you thank you very much

coming up on Saturday I got Arduino made easy oh and the lesson is a continuation

of oh man I forgot I got the camera right here a continuation of lesson five

where we installed the LEDs again and use these sensors right here and let

me plug this in let me show you how it works this is supposed to be a gate

crossing now it's probably not going to work properly because I got my overhead

lights on so it's it's going to work weird but anyway it's it's not doing its

do it is doing the crossing signal but it's not doing it the way I wanted it to

because this is too bright with these lights on up here but anyway when I do

the lesson 6 you'll see what we are doing on that and I got some sketches or

I got some little functions from Jeff bonza in his grade crossing sketch where

he had the crossing gates come down to I'm not going to do that in there

because that's a little bit too complicated even though his two

functions are a little bit complicated I'm putting that in there to get it to

work so I don't have to write all these lines of code over he he has a way where

you put it in a function and that's it boom you just put the function in there

and it does what you want it to do but so that's coming up on this Saturday so

we'll see you then on this Saturday on Arduino made easy and don't forget to

help out those other modelers on there because they need to learn they want to

learn they want to get into the Hobby and they don't want to hear people

complaining about stuff or telling them that their stuff is trash give them the

help that they need please and we'll see Ya.

Mesa Dual Rectifier x POD HD500 Treadplate - Duration: 6:59.

Hello my friends, how are you doing? Alright !!

Doing another video about amplifiers, gears, speakers and related ...

this time I'll follow an suggestion from a subscriber that I can't remeber who he is ... in a old video

and he asked about a comparison between the amp Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier

and the POD HD500 Mesa Rectifier simulation

So ... I'm with my Gibson Les Paul Studio straight on the Mesa Boogie

Without any effect pedal ... only the footswitch right here on the floor

my 2x12 cab loaded with Celestions G12T-75 and Vintage 30 ... but only the last mic'd

I'll let the amp front panel available to check the channels settings

The microphone is a Sennheiser E609

and I'm using this speaker config because the HD500 have the V30 cab simulation

Doesn't have G12T-75 + V30 combined

So I'll play first the amp clean channel and then the POD clean preset

then the channel 2 on amp ... a "not higain" overdrive and the next preset on the HD 500

and at last the Higain channel 3 on amp and the Higain Treadplate preset on the POD

you will see the HD500 display with the settings

Let's start on clean ...

well ... there isn't a Rectifier "treadplate clean" simulation in the HD500

I've did a preset using Fender simulation to get closer ...

so ... I'll play the POD clean preset straight on the mixer

the settings will be available while I playing on every preset

well ... now the Mesa's channel 2 ... a "less aggressive" overdrive

and finally the Rectifier's channel 3 ... heavy !!

this was the Recto Higain preset on the HD500 ... considerations ...

I've tried to make the preset sound closer to the amp

by hearing on my sound system and the way I've captured the sound

so really doesn't sound 100% like the amp ... a few differences can be heard ... it's a fact !!

it's hard to compare both equipments ...

what else? other considerations ... (the POD presets were based on the cab with G12T-75 + V30)

(but only the V30 were mic'd on video)

anyway, the HD500 is a great tool when you need practicality ... but is very different from the real amp

and as I told in the begining, it's connected straight on the mixer

I've adjust the direct out on it's output configurations

you can find video about it here in my channel

ok my friends? Questions and suggestions please write below ...

thumbs up if you like ... subscribe at my channel

I hope to see you soon !!

TWENTY A Webseries | S2 E1| "The Party: Part 1" - Duration: 11:21.

*Theme Music*

[TINA] So, Victoria... will you be my bridesmaid?

[TINA] Okay, how was that?

[HAZEL] Just as good as the last ten times you did it!

[MAYA] I think you're ready.

[TINA] You're still coming with me though right?

[MAYA] Of course!

[MAYA] What kind of a maid of honor would I be if I let you visit cultists alone?

[TINA] I still want to do it one more time though.

[MAYA] You know there is such a thing as over practicing.

[TINA] But what if she says no?

[MAYA] Then she says no, and that's her problem. But it won't be from a lack of trying.

[TINA] Maybe it should be...

[TINA]...bolder. More excited?

[MAYA] Okay yeah yeah I get that!

[TINA] Maybe we should bring a confetti cannon.

[MAYA] Oh...I don't think that's a good idea.

[TINA] Okay!

[MAYA] Let's try just naturally excited.

[TINA] Okay!

[MAYA & TINA] One...two...three. Will you be my bridesmaid?

[TODD] Oh my god. Yes.

[TODD] Yes.

[TODD] I'd love to I never thought you would ask! Oh my god! Yes!

[TINA] No Todd. No. I mean- not you. I mean no, no-

[MAYA] We were practicing for later when we ask someone...else.

[HAZEL] Oh, hey Todd!

[HAZEL] You're in my seat.

*Lens snapping back in place*

[HAZEL] Okay, what happened?

[VICTORIA] So...

[VICTORIA] What did you guys want to talk about?

[MAYA] Well we had an exciting question to ask you!

[TINA] Yeah!

[CHARLES] Welcome.

[MAYA] Thanks Charles.

[CHARLES] We're so glad you decided to join us.

[MAYA] Oh, no.

[MAYA] No, no, no.

[TINA] Oh, no. No thanks.

[MAYA] Thanks, though!

[CHARLES] What about...?

[MAYA] What?

[MAYA] Oh shit.

[TINA] Uh Maya, just get to it.

[MAYA] Yep! We were wondering if you wanted to be...

*Drumroll*

[MAYA & TINA] A bridesmaid!

[TINA] My bridesmaid at my wedding!

[TINA] Wedding. Do you remember weddings?

[VICTORIA] We don't believe in ceremonies.

[MAYA] Well that sucks.

[TINA] No parties?

[MAYA] What about birthdays? Or is it kind of like a Jehovah's Witness thing?

[CHARLES] Birthdays were invented by corporations to sell cards.

[VICTORIA] We are ageless beings floating through time and space.

[CHARLES] Like an etherial soup.

[MAYA] Weird....Okay.

[MAYA] What's with the bunk beds by the way?

[TINA] Oh yeah good question.

[MAYA] Yeah.

[CHARLES] It's okay...you can tell them.

[CHARLES] There's nothing to be ashamed about we are completely and utterly cut off and disconnected from our prior souls.

[VICTORIA] We are living a chaste life.

[TINA] No sex? No fucking?

[CHARLES] We don't use those words anymore.

[MAYA] No commingling in a sexual manner?

[CHARLES] Thank You Maya, and no, we are not.

[MAYA] Okay.

[TINA] Wow that is not something I could do.

[CHARLES] Oh we've enjoyed every minute of it.

[TINA] Have you now Victoria?

[MAYA] Yeah, yeah Victoria what part are you enjoying most?

[TINA] Yeah?

[VICTORIA] I have a lot of time to think.

[MAYA] And read apparently. Y'all got a lot of books in here.

[TINA] Yeah you guys must love reading.

[CHARLES] We don't love anything. I'm not sure we even believe in the concept of love anymore.

[VICTORIA] No.

[TINA] You don't believe in love? What the fuck is that?

[MAYA] Tina.

[TINA] I'm sorry, I'm sorry. That's just weird!

[MAYA] I know it's really fucking weird. Um...

[MAYA] Okay, if you don't believe in love then what- what's with this? What's going on over here? What's with that?

[CHARLES] Cohabitation of the palms.

[VICTORIA] We believe that when you reach level a hundred thousand of hive mind you transcend your mortal coil and enter a realm of tantric enlightenment.

[MAYA] So you're fucking in the afterlife, but you're not fucking now.

[TINA] Okay. Alright.

[TINA] What if I told you guys that it's not a ceremony at all.

[MAYA] No.

[TINA] I'm just smooching Hector. And you're just standing there being my friend.

[MAYA] Just standing!

[TINA] Standing!

[MAYA] That's all you're doing! Just standing.

[TINA] Eating food, drinking!

[MAYA] Ooh drinking! We know how much Vickie loves a good glass of wine.

[TINA] Oh she loves drinking! She loves drinking. You love drinking.

[CHARLES] We only drink the nectar of the hive now.

[VICTORIA] Carrot juice.

[TINA] That sounds horrible. No offense, I'm sorry.

[CHARLES] We don't accept your apology. That's okay. I don't need it.

[TINA] That's okay I don't need it.

[TINA] Okay, okay. We talked to the almighty prophet of the hive today.

[CHARLES] You spoke with Jerry?

[MAYA] Uh yeah! Yeah, Jerry.

[TINA] Jer bear.

[MAYA] We spoke with Jerry.

[TINA] Love him!

[CHARLES] What did Jerry say?

[MAYA] Well...he said...

[TINA] He accepted.

[MAYA] Yeah.

[TINA] Fully.

[CHARLES] That's so strange.

[CHARLES] Jerry took a vow of silence ten years ago.

[MAYA] Oh.

[TINA] Can I cohabitate your palm, Victoria?

[TINA] Please Vickie, please.

[VICTORIA] I'm sorry.

[CATALINA] You don't wanna join a cult, right?

[MAYA] God no, why?

[CATALINA] I don't know. You just spent the whole day with two people who are in a cult, so I just want to make sure you weren't brainwashed.

[MAYA] Don't worry. I'm still a very sane and rational human being

[CATALINA] Thank God.

[MAYA] Could be kind of fun though. You know, just to infiltrate one for a day, see what it's like.

[CATALINA] Ooh let's do it! Let's join Charles and Victoria for a meeting!

[MAYA] Really?

[CATALINA] No! I'm not gonna do that. I'm not gonna lose you to a bunch of crazy Americans, I love you too much.

[MAYA] Is that an American thing? Cults?

[CATALINA] Yeah, like baseball, and pie.

[MAYA] Are those our defining characteristics? Cults, baseball, and pie?

[CATALINA] Among others.

[MAYA] What are the others?

[CATALINA] Obesity, trucks, beautiful women.

[MAYA] You flatter me.

[CATALINA] We have to get ready for the party.

*Party Music Plays*

[MAYA] Hey birthday girl!

[HAZEL] Hi you guys! I'm so glad you could make it.

[CATALINA] Are you kidding? Of course!

[MAYA] Where's Iris?

[HAZEL] She couldn't make it.

[CATALINA] Why not?

[HAZEL] Some meditation retreat something. Whatever. I actually don't care, It's honestly nice to get a break from her.

[MAYA] Yikes. Things not going so hot?

[HAZEL] She's just a lot. Plus she brews her own Kombucha Tea and it smells like shit.

[HAZEL] I'm actually thinking about breaking it off with...

[HAZEL] Code red.

[MAYA] What?

[HAZEL] Twelve o'clock.

[MAYA] Oh shit.

[LIZ] Hey, Maya!

[MAYA] Liz! What are you doing here?

[LIZ] Just in town for the weekend.

[LIZ] Hi, I'm Liz.

[CATALINA] Catalina.

[LIZ] I know.

[LIZ] You're the one who left for Brazil, right?

[CATALINA] Peru.

[LIZ] Peru...Oh, you must have left right before I saw you last.

[MAYA] Right.

[LIZ] I came and visited right after you left. Pity our paths never crossed.

[CATALINA] Such a pity.

[LIZ] I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of each other now though.

[CATALINA] I'm looking forward to it.

[LIZ] Oh! Excuse me. Nice meeting you.

[CATALINA] So that's the infamous Liz.

[MAYA] Indeed...

[MAYA] What?

[CATALINA] Nothing, nothing!

[CATALINA] How on earth did you two date for two years?

[TINA] Oh my god! Hi forever friend! When did you guys get here?

[MAYA] Oh just a little while ago. Hey!

[TINA] You guys have to try one of Hector's vodka sours, they're amazing.

[MAYA] Ooh.

[HECTOR] It's really great to see you guys.

[MAYA] Yeah! What has it been a whole two days?

[HECTOR] Two days too long!

[TINA] Yeah, so we have to leave super early because one of Hector's friends is in a one-man show we promised we'd go to see.

[MAYA] That's awesome what is it?

[TINA] Yeah it's called 'Basking In The Woods In My Trauma'.

[MAYA] Wow sounds really uplifting.

[TINA] It's suppose to be a work of art.

[HECTOR] He's really great, and he's also into heavy grunge rock. He plays in this band...

[HECTOR] It's called Monkeyscum.

[MAYA] Monkey's Cum?

[HECTOR] Yeah, Monkeyscum.

[CATALINA] Monkey what?

[MAYA] See we can't tell if you're saying Monkey's Cum or Monkey Scum.

[TINA] Yeah! Monkeyscum.

[HECTOR] Exactly.

[MAYA] Right. Okay...

[TINA] Oh! I gotta pee! Hold this!

[TJ] Is that desire?

[TINA] What?

[TJ] Your perfume.

[TINA] Oh! Yeah, yeah! Good...nose.

[TJ] Thanks.

[TJ] It's nice on you.

[TINA] Oh no...

[TINA] Oh no.
