New Announcement Means We Will Be Stuck With the Obamas for Years to Come. - Duration: 5:07.

New Announcement Means We Will Be Stuck With the Obamas for Years to Come.

An announcement hit the Internet revealing a multiyear deal the Obamas just struck.

It means Americans will be forced to put up with Barack and Michelle for much longer than

we had hoped.

The Obamas just might be the most egotistical family in American history, rivaled only by

the Clintons.

After nearly destroying our country over the course of eight years, Barry and Michelle

said, "We're not done."

Barack Obama was able to win over voters in 2008 with a vague promise of "hope."

Hope for what?

Installing socialism onto America?

Despite getting very close, the tyrannical president failed.

All his policies, "achievements," and intentions for our country only made things

worse.

Let's think about that.

The first black President was in office when the terrorist group, Black Lives Matter, was

founded.

This is a group that turns black people against white people and portrays police as villains,

and it was created on Barry's watch.

It was largely thanks to his irresponsible comments.

Occupy Wall Street happened under Obama.

A pathetic, communist-driven attack on our economic system was all but endorsed by the

White House.

Funny how they mobilized during a liberal's administration.

Yet despite bickering about corruption in the free market, nothing changed.

It seems like Obama wasn't very quick to take down Wall Street, although he let those

protesters destroy much of downtown New York.

We don't have to get into his immigration policy, which invited drug cartels and rapists

into the country.

Or his constantly placating to foreign powers, including enemies like Iran.

Or his agreeing to join the Paris Climate Accord, which would have cost us 6 million

jobs over the next 25 years (he did that without consent from Congress or the American people).

And who can forget Obamacare — a program so terrible, it all but ensured Trump's

victory.

Americans made their voices heard when they elected a man who promised to undo every last

Obama achievement.

Yet the Obamas can't take the hint.

They are still desperate to cling to their fading fame.

While there are still a few obsessed fans in the country, the vast majority of us have

moved on.

The Obamas haven't.

They insist they stay in the limelight.

That includes a multi-million-dollar book deal, constant appearances online and on TV,

and now, a major deal that will ensure they appear in your home every night.

Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have entered a multiyear agreement to produce new films

and shows with Netflix.

The former president and first lady are determined to produce a diverse mix of content, including

a potential scripted series, an unscripted series, a docu-series, documentaries and features,

according to a press release from Netflix about the deal.

The streaming service revealed the projects will be available to their 125 million members

in 190 countries.

The couple also established Higher Ground Productions, which will serve as the entity

under which they will produce content for Netflix.

"One of the simple joys of our time in public service was getting to meet so many fascinating

people from all walks of life, and to help them share their experiences with a wider

audience," said former President Obama in a statement.

[Source: Fox News]

If there was ever a reason to switch to Hulu, we've got it.I mean, honestly, this is just

sad.

The Obamas had eight years to ruin our country.

Shouldn't they just retire?

But I guess once you get a taste of the spotlight, it's hard to let go.

Much like their buddy Hillary Clinton, the Obamas can't take the hint.

It's over.

Go away.

Let the country forget about you.

How can we miss you, if you won't go away?

This is an ongoing pattern with the former First Family.

The Obama library is shaping up to be a disaster.

Books and documents will be replaced with a basketball court and recording studio.

Because why bother reading when you're at a library?

Does Barack Obama's ego know no bounds?

When have we ever seen a former president this eager to soak up attention?

Even Bubba Clinton laid low for a while; even today, he spends more time speaking overseas

than in the U.S.

It's clear that as the Obamas watch their political legacy get torched by Trump, they

need something else to hang their reputations on.

The logical choice is to go into movies.

Hey, they've been producing fiction for years now.

It's a perfect fit!

Perhaps they could have spared us eight years of torture and just gone into show business

in the first place.

The Key to Developing a Shooter, A Look at the Coaching Journey of One Pelicans Assistant - Duration: 4:10.

My first memory of the game of basketball was going over to my

cousin's house. He had a hoop and the hoop was nailed tree. So it

wasn't like a normal backboard. There was just

a ring, and they were taking

this ball trying to throw it through the hoop. It didn't have a whole bunch of air

in it so wasn't like you could bounce or dribble or anything. So everybody was just catching

and shooting. Then it became a contest of who could make the most.

And I was like man that looked pretty cool.

Fred Vincent assistant coach with the New Orleans Pelicans

grew up in a little small town called Murfreesboro,

it's in North Carolina. Whether it was football or whether it

was baseball, whether it was basketball- my cousins, my

friends- we would always get together and play in the backyard.

I was in a situation when I was in junior high school where I

got cut from the team. And whenever I went through

issues, or had any personal problems or something was bothering me I

would always go shoot. I would nail one of those margarine

buckets, I would cut the hole out of the bottom,

it had a little plastic bowl and I would nail to the top of

the wall. And I think because of that trying this tongue to shoot

this ball into this little bucket where the ball

barely fit, it helped my hand eye coordination in terms of

shooting as I went forward.

The last opportunity that I had

to try to make the NBA was with the Los Angeles Clippers

and I got to know Neil Olshey and Coach Dunleavy. I didn't make the team

but I had an impression on them, I guess, in a way by how hard

I worked. And Neil, unbeknownst to me went to Coach Dunleavy and told him

hey you know I think Fred would be a good guy to work with our young

players. For me my expertise as a player was shooting. To me one

of the most important aspects of developing a shooter

is convincing him that you can help him get better.

I think it starts with building that relationship, it goes back

to that relationship- them feeling comfortable

with you, comfortable with your knowledge and your ability

to teach them and help them get better. My first year with Al Thornton

was unbelievable, it was outstanding. I watched video with him,

took him through drills, showed him of moves and would go out

the next game and do it. After the first year, Al went from not

making the rookie-sophomore game to by the time he finished

the season that first year he was first team all rookie.

And so from there the joy and excitement of watching guys

and seeing guys get better, that's something to me that's part of what I love about coaching.

You could call it a hobby, I love sitting and watching my son

play sports during my off time. I have two older

sons one just graduated college from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

And then my middle son, Corey's at LSU.

He's a part of the basketball staff there trying to get his career

started in coaching so he and I talk every day.

My wife's name is Muthithar Vinson and we

actually met in Los Angeles. I remember I went to go pick

her up and when I saw her I was like whoa okay now remember.

And from that point on you know we we just kind of bonded and we're

married now. And that's been 2002 I met her.

I want to win an NBA championship.

I want to win that whether I'm an NBA head coach

NBA assistant coach, I just want to know what that feeling is

like. You know you see it you have friends who have won and

then you see just how excited everybody is, you see families on

stage and all that. I just want to be a part of that.

You know throughout some point in my

coaching career I want to be a part of that.

HOW DID I NOT GET THIS AS A KID!? | Gnoggin | Pokemon - Duration: 4:36.

Holy Butts!

So I never got this as a kid, and had no idea until just a bit ago while doing some research

for another video.

But I always thought that pokemon evolution by trading was stupid.

And this is ESPECIALLY the case for shelmet and karrablast.

You specifically have to trade the two of them in order for them to evolve.

The rest of the trade evo's you just have to trade whatever!

But recently I found out that there is actually a VERY good reason why these two being traded

to evolve makes sense!

And maybe you already knew this, that's fine-

Go whine about it in the comments smarty, I'm sure your parents are proud of your

pokemon trivia knowledge!!

But I figured that if I didn't know about this until just now, maybe there are plenty

other that don't either.

So here we are!

so, the evolution in question, shelmet to accelgor, and karrablast into escavalier.

Just by looking at them you can sort of see what happens.

Karrablast borrows elements from shelmet and gains the armor, if you look close you can

see a sort of karrablast body in there.

So I originally figured when trading they were also trading elements with each other,

karrablast gets the armor element from shelmet and shelmet gets the….

High speed from karrablast?

But karrablast isn't super fast or anything, but it is known to explode?

karraBLAST?

And exploding is fast?

Idk, that's what I originally thought.

But its actually way deeper and cooler than that.

So shelmet is based on a snail, it is the snail pokemon and its got the classic snail

curve behind the medieval helmet.

When it evolves into accelgor, you can tell it still has snail elements because of the

name, accelgor, from both accelerate because of its speed, and escargot, french for snail.

Escavalier also has escargot in its name, along with cavalier.

So does the beetle become a snail?

You can still see the beetle parts in there, so clearly not.

But look at whats happening here.

You trade the two pokemon, and suddenly the beetle gets shelmet's snail shell, and the

snail grows big and gets wrapped in bandages.

Typical fighting ninja fashion sure, but maybe something more.

It looks like karrablast stole the helmet from shelmet while they were in the process

of being traded.

Which would make sense actually!

Karrablast is sort of a generic beetle, kind of a scarab, kind of a rhinoceros beetle…

but notably in this case, this interaction with shelmet points also to Carabus blaptoides

blaptoides, commonly known in japan as the snail-eating beetle.

This beetle hunts out snails, and empties their shells entirely, and then may use the

shell as a small hideout.

So that's what happened here!

While in the vulnerable state of whatever goes one while being digitally traded, karrablast

steals the shell off of shelmet, perhaps in an attempt to eat the shelmet, but because

trading is so fast, the opportunity passes after karrablast removed shelmets protection.

And now just carrying around a sturdy snail shell, it can make armor out of it, becoming

an escavalier.

Meanwhile, the shelmet just got its armor ripped off, and not having to carry around

big heavy medieval armor means now it can go fast!

But it also has a big hole in its back, so it wraps that up.

And so it becomes accelgor.

This interaction is a fascinating example of co-evolution, or y'know in the case of

pokemon, co-metamorphosis.

This is when two or more species adapt and change over generations because of the actions

of the other.

Like flowers becoming bigger and brighter to attract more bees, and bees getting better

and better and spotting flowers.

Or in the case of predator and prey like these pokemon, its cheetahs, getting faster and

faster as time goes on, while gazelles do the same thing.

Its quite fascinating.

And I hope you found this to be fascinating as well!

I certainty do!

So until next time please remember to never stop using that Gnoggin!

And be sure to check out these other awesome videos.

thanks!

Breaking News - Exclusive: Karsa after MSI: 'I had a special sense we'd beat Kingzone' - Duration: 5:17.

It had been 1,106 days since a Korean team had lost of a best-of-five series to a team from a different region

Chinese champions Royal Never Give Up stepped up to the plate and finally ended their long search for an international trophy

RNG finally took home the LPL title for the first time ever jsut a few weeks prior and managed to carry their winning momentum into a sensational victory against Kingzone DragonX

And one man who played a crucial role was Taiwanese jungler Hung 'Karsa' Hau-Hsuan

He had the highest KDA of any player in the knockouts (6.4) and the third most assists (56)

Despite RNG's track record in finals and the usual dominance of the LCK, Karsa doesn't think their win was an upset: 'Before the final, I wasn't nervous

I had a special sense that we were going to win against Kingzone. Now we've gone and accomplished that, it was as expected

' Despite playing it cool in the post-match interview, there was no doubt how much this meant to Karsa

In a recent interview with Inven, RNG's coach said Karsa was a very emotional player and had cried a lot throughout the split

Fortunately for RNG, Karsa was only shedding tears of joy on stage in Paris - it was his first time competing in an international final and it couldn't have worked out any better

All of his hard work had paid off but Karsa admitted that it had been a struggle: 'This was a really tough season for me after joining a new region

'At first, I was unfamiliar with my teammates and with the LPL meta but now I'm really used to it

I've adapted well, I really like the food in China and can communicate with my team easily

'When I'm under-performing I get really sad but my teammates have helped me a lot, Ming especially is able to calm me and provide me with support

I'm just super happy that all my dedication has paid off by us winning this championship

' Overcoming those personal struggles can only have made victory taste sweeter and Karsa says avenging his former team was the icing on the cake: 'I was with Flash Wolves for three years, I still have a really good relationship and connection with all of the people there

I'm sad that they lost to Kingzone but now I'm even happier we won, it feels like revenge

' Revenge is exactly what Kingzone will be looking for and they'll be even more desperate to prove themselves internationally when the World Championships return to Korea later this year

Yet, Karsa isn't concerned. The team are understandably on a high and have no intentions of slowing down: 'I have full trust in this team

I've been picking utility champions so all I have to do is not feed and this team will carry me

'I think we definitely can make it to Worlds this year and go far, I think we're super strong and super confident - our ultimate goal is that World Championship trophy

What Ferrule Material and ID Can I Use in my GC? - Duration: 2:07.

[Music]

Hello, chromatographers. Welcome to another Restek Tip.

Today, we're going to be discussing how to choose the right ferrule for my GC column installation.

And there are really three questions that we need to ask.

The first of those is what ferrule geometry do I need.?

The best source of information for that is our instrument manual.

That is going to give us the specific geometry that that particular instrument uses for its connections.

Now, keep in mind though even within a single instrument,

it could use different ferrule geometries for different connections.

The next question we need to answer is: What should my ferrule material be?

Principally, there are three main choices – graphite, Vespel/graphite, or pure Vespel.

And essentially to answer that question, we just need to know one thing –

am I making a connection to a mass spec?

If so, I want to choose a Vespel or a Vespel/graphite ferrule.

Otherwise, any of those ferrule materials should be fine for us.

The final thing we need to identify is what is the correct ferrule ID to choose.

In this case, we ideally would know our column OD, but usually we don't see that around.

We know our column ID.

You could try to go find what your column OD is,

but ultimately what you really need to know is just this –

for a 0.25 millimeter ID column, you want a 0.4 millimeter ID ferrule.

For a 0.32 millimeter ID column, you want a 0.5 millimeter ID ferrule.

And finally, for a 0.53 millimeter ID column, you want a 0.8 millimeter ID ferrule.

And that's it. That's what you need to know about your GC column ferrules.

Thanks very much for joining us for this Restek Tip.

The Best Business to Start with $100 - Duration: 7:59.

what's going on guys today we're gonna identify the best business that you can

start with just a hundred bucks and we're starting right now welcome to the

video guys if you're new here my name is Brian I'm an entrepreneur with

experience running dozens of profitable online businesses so if you want to

learn how to automate your income and get your money to work for you go ahead

and hit that subscribe button and hit the bell notification so you don't miss

any future videos ok so here it goes five different businesses that you can

start today but we're gonna weigh the pros and cons of each one so that we can

best identify which is the best one for you if you only have a hundred bucks in

your pocket now all these are businesses that I've owned and operated myself so I

understand both the pros and cons of each one's as well as what it actually

takes to get them started and fully launched also I'm gonna throw in one

that I rarely if ever talked about on the channel so make sure you stay tuned

to the end and check them all out now we're gonna count these down from five

to one for effect but today I'm disqualifying content creation now we

all know that content creation is my favorite business model for many many

reasons but I have an entire premium course that

teaches you guys how to leverage content to make money on autopilot pilot

essentially and for that reason I'm not gonna promote it today and we're just

gonna completely disqualify it from the rhyme so then what's the best business

that you can start today with just a hundred bucks well coming in at number

five is Amazon private labeling now we all know that I love Amazon private

labeling it's a phenomenal business model it's one that I suggest across the

board to many entrepreneurs and I have four for Amazon profitable products

right now that are private labeled but the reality is you're gonna need a

little bit more than just a hundred bucks to get started

I would suggest roughly about 500 to 1500 to initially get into your first

order of inventory comfortably so with just a hundred bucks that's not gonna

cut it now coming in at number four on the list is another popular one and

that's drop shipping with Shopify now don't get me wrong drop shipping is

a phenomenal phenomenal business model you don't need that much money to start

you don't need to purchase initial image before you even get paid for that

specific sale so then that begs the question why is it only number four well

put simply you're going to need to spend money on ads and it doesn't matter if

you're going the Facebook group the Google AdWords route the Instagram or

whatever it is it doesn't matter chances are you're going to need to spend more

than a hundred bucks to really get a legitimate ROI and kind of figure things

out furthermore you usually have to pay for

your Shopify drop shipping site too so that's out now if you do want to learn

Shopify drop shipping you can check the description below and grab my Shopify

drop shipping course along with my amazon drop shipping course 100% free

now Shopify also hooked you guys up with a month free trial if you go through the

course all right coming in at number three is consulting or tutoring and this

is a new one that I rarely talk about so why do I want both of these together

well they're both essentially about developing a skill or leveraging what

you're already good at so to give you an example if you understand search engine

optimization really well well that's a skill that companies will pay for if

maybe you understand writing really well you can sell that in chunks of time to

bloggers or maybe other writers there's literally an endless amount of skills

that you can sell consulting for to give you another example you could try

tutoring you know same same but different

now when I say tutoring and you hear the words tutoring you probably think of

tutoring subjects like math or science and you can definitely do that I

actually did tutor math about two years ago but I also tutored really cool

subjects like soccer baseball and poker pretty cool right

the point is develop a skill or leverage something that you're already good at

then sell that expertise in chunks of time all right getting close now coming

in at number two is arbitrage arbitrage is a great way to make money right now

with almost no initial money needed and there are many ways to do arbitrage but

currently my favorite is online arbitrage through Amazon now yes

arbitrage does cost money initially to get into it but it's still ahead of

consulting and tutoring for the reason that it's easier in my opinion to scale

up and you can make a lot more money faster with arbitrage then you

necessarily can with consulting because you do have to go out and find clients

for that and with arbitrage you can definitely

make money quickly if you know what you're doing so for example if you had

that hundred bucks that we talked about you could turn that hundred bucks into

about five hundred bucks if you know what you're doing within a week or two

honestly and then you could turn that five hundred bucks into maybe two grand

in another week or two it's literally that simple and you'll exponentially

start to see your money increase over time if you're implementing things right

and you're buying the correct items with arbitrage it's all about the return on

investment and you can make a lot of that return on your investment the more

money that you put in the more money that you get out and it's literally that

simple you can make a lot doing it and I still do it to this day finally coming

in at number one and the best business to start if you only have 100 bucks in

your pocket is starting your own agency just like consulting or tutoring for

example you can start your own agency with absolutely zero money down doesn't

take anything to start and just like them you'll also be leveraging something

that you're already good at most of the time and selling a skill the reality is

if you have a skill or something of value that companies need they will pay

you for it now you might be saying oh Brian it's easy to say that but you

don't understand how hard it is to go out and sign clients but I do I actually

do I did social media marketing for a little while and I still teach people to

run successful social media marketing agencies today and I get it it can be

difficult but like I always say you either have one of two currencies you

either have time or you have money and with a hundred bucks in your pocket

let's be honest you don't have a lot of money so you probably have a lot of time

so the answer is to go out there and get through the nose so that you can get to

the yeses and you don't just have to focus on social media marketing to use

search engine optimization like we talked about before you can start your

own SEO agency if that's what you're good at if you're good at growing

Instagram pages for example start an Instagram agency if you're good

at running Facebook ads or Google AdWords guess what you can start your

own ad agency like I said with number three you're either going to develop a

valuable skill or a leverages skill that you already have then identify companies

that need that skill and go out and try to sign them I can tell you I don't have

money but what I do have are a very particular set of skills all right guys

so I hope that that answered the question of what the best business to

start if you only have a hundred bucks in your pocket today is now I have

courses on all of these there will be linked in the description for $10

discount links if you any of these spoke to you and you want to check them out

like I said check the description below and if you feel like I provided enough

value today to go ahead and warrant all like then please hit that like button

and let me know I'm on the right track also drop a comment down below and let

me know if you have experiences with any of these businesses specifically and if

so is it positive or negative and I'll see you guys in the next video

In this short video, as you can see and hear,

I am speaking Hungarian.

It is my first video in Hungarian

so I truly hope that

especially native Hungarian speakers

will understand everything.

First of all,

I won't speak about

how I have learned Hungarian,

if I am doing fine or not.

This is not the main goal of the video.

The main goal of this video is

that I'd like to show you

how important it is

to make the right decisions,

and how to stay motivated.

In particular, I'd like to talk about

WHY I have learned Hungarian

three years ago,

and why I kept and will keep learning it with time.

I have heard quite often that

Hungarian is not a useful language,

that it is spoken just in Hungary.

That even those foreigners who live in Hungary

don't learn Hungarian,

and that they only speak English,

be it in Budapest or in Hungary in general.

And as if it were not enough,

a lot of people think that

the Hungarian language is very...too difficult.

After spending some time in Hungary,

and after living wonderful experiences,

I fully realized that I really wanted to learn to speak Hungarian fluently.

And that's a key point, that is

we have to have strong reasons

for learning a language,

and that we don't have to pay any mind

to what others say.

A Deeper Look At Triangulation and How to Recover From One - Duration: 3:50.

A Deeper Look At Triangulation and How to Recover From One

In other section, we have discussed how narcissists are toxic to others.

We also covered some tactics they use including triangulation for keeping you under their

power.

So, what is toxic triangulation means?

In a simple way, triangulation is some kind of method that narcissists do to sway another

person (sometimes a group of people) into some certain interaction or relationship with

a purpose to belittle the victim, so he, or she will vie for the attention of the narcissist.

Narcissists often use this method to create love triangles among people just to get some

attention to themselves.

Toxic triangulation is one of the most rotten and heartbreaking tools for psychological

manipulation.

So, if you think you're currently under this exact situation, you have to take some action

as soon as possible.

If you want to know how to be completely free from it, these 3 powerful methods should help

you to heal from the toxic triangulation of narcissists.

Before we jump to the lists, make sure to like this video and subscribe to our channel,

so you won't miss any of our interesting updates in the future.

#1 - Know why you are irreplaceable

You are irreplaceable because your mind have been tricked into believing that there is

no one better than you.

That is why when there is someone coming into your relationship, you have nothing but to

struggle to get attention from the abuser.

At some point you may realize that you have made a wrong move since you are actually feeding

the narcissistic partner.

It is pretty common thing to happen actually since they brainwash you unconsciously, but

it can be adjusted by using the self-appreciation technique.

The dynamic of your inner beauty, skills, and intelligence are far more superior to

theirs, the narcissists.

Please also remember that what they say and do are actually illusions.

#2 - Stop looking at the new person

Triangulation requires at least three people involved: the narcissists, you as the first

victim, and other person as new supply.

Most of the time, you will look the new supply as shiny bright object that is far superior

than you are.

This is where you need to think the otherwise.

Remember that narcissists see the world in reverse.

That is why you need to think the reverse too.

Moreover, it is worth to note that people who have endured narcissists are great because

they are the most toxic person in the world.

When you can get away with them that will be remarkable bonus for your next healthy

life.

#3 - Stop comparing

A tactic commonly used by narcissists is to compare you between you and the new supply.

Spending time just to listen and think about your quality and the new person will only

drive you crazy.

Moreover, with strategic talks from the narcissists, you usually do not have a chance to not think

about it.

To fight against it, you can try engaging in positive activities that your narcissistic

partners cannot see.

A routine mediation practice is also great for you to stop seeing yourself in comparison

to others.

Well, those are the things about toxic triangulation and how to recover from one if you are the

victim of narcissistic abuse.

So, Really cool information isn't it?

You fall so low but shoot so high

Big dreamers shoot for open sky

The Cosmic Origins of Earth's Water - Duration: 5:41.

Thank you to brilliant dot org for supporting PBS Digital Studios.

Seventy percent of Earth is covered in water.

That's every last drop in the oceans, in clouds, in icecaps, in your body.

And even less of that is fresh water.

All that water together would fill a sphere only 860 miles (about 1,385 kilometers) in

diameter.

Water is one of the things that makes Earth so special and without it, life as we know

it couldn't exist.

Was our home always a waterpark?

If not, how did it all get here?

What do we really know about Earth's H-two-Origins?

[INTRO]

The solar system formed when a cloud of gas and dust collapsed into a swirling disk.

And at least some of that cloud was water.

In the orbit where Earth would one day be, the young sun's intense heat prevented water

vapor from condensing on its own.

But tiny grains of dust acted as 'condensation nuclei' to let droplets form.

These tiny debris particles coalesced into our young planet along with the water they

carried.

As Earth cooled, rocks in the crust reacted with chemicals in the early atmosphere to

create more water molecules.

Water existed inside Earth's mantle, but not as independent H-two-O molecules, rather it

separated into H's and OH's in the rock.

We don't know exactly how much water is still locked inside Earth today, but there

may be several oceans' worth of primordial H2O embedded within minerals, or even as ice

inside diamonds deep underground.

This explains some of Earth's water, but much—if not most—of the water on the surface

today was imported from farther out in the solar system.

One type of asteroid called a 'carbonaceous chondrite' contains water molecules, and

also their raw ingredients, oxygen and hydrogen.

During the early years of the solar system, we think Jupiter may have orbited closer to

the Sun than it does today.

Its gravity would've flung thousands of these watery asteroids toward the young Earth.

But comets also hold a lot of water ice, and there are billions of them zipping around

the solar system.

If they crashed into early Earth they could have brought water too.

So how can we tell if most of our water came from asteroids or comets?

Every water molecule contains two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen.

But a tiny fraction of the hydrogen atoms in water have an extra neutron in their nucleus.

Comet water and asteroid water have different ratios of these heavy hydrogens to normal

hydrogens.

The atomic fingerprint of the water we find on Earth doesn't quite match what we see

in comets, but the water in asteroids is a closer match.

Like many things in science, we can't be 100% sure yet, but so far it seems that most

of our water came from asteroids.

So Earth probably got its water in multiple ways.

Some was built into the planet.

Earth made a bit on its own.

And the rest—was delivered by space rocks.

But where did all this water come from… before the solar system?

Astronomers have detected water all over the cosmos.

They've seen it in clouds of gas between stars and in other planet-forming disks.

Around one supermassive black hole, they've even detected a reservoir of water 140 trillion

times heavier than Earth's oceans.

This space fog is far enough away that it, and its water, must have existed at least

12 billion years ago, and maybe earlier.

So how old is the universe's oldest water?

All of the universe's hydrogen was made during the Big Bang, but oxygen is only produced

inside the nuclear furnace of stars.

So water could have formed as soon as the very first stars in the universe ignited,

about 12.7 billion years ago at the earliest.

A tiny fraction of the air we breathe–and the water we drink today–contains some of

these very first oxygen atoms.

Why do we care so much about the history of something as seemingly boring as a glass of

water?

The earlier there was water in the universe, the earlier there could've been watery planets.

And the earlier there were watery planets, the more time there could be for life to evolve.

That's a refreshing thought.

Stay curious.

Thank you to brilliant dot org for supporting PBS Digital Studios.

Water has been essential to the development of life on Earth, but knowing the age of water,

and where water might exist in our galaxy is one of the best clues astronomers have

for figuring the odds of extraterrestrial life.

How do astronomers actually LOOK for other worlds though?

If you're *thirsty* for answers to that and other astronomy questions, Brilliant has

a course all about astronomy.

It includes a breadth of knowledge about the cosmos, and lessons like "Worlds Beyond

Earth" teach you the tools that astronomers use to search for and study planets outside

our own solar system.

Brilliant's lessons are broken up into bite-size pieces, with instruction designed to guide

you through problems.

Learning about astronomy is about more than facts and memorizing.

Staying curious is about learning how to learn anything.

Mensagem do vice-secretário do Departamento de Estado aos brasileiros - Duration: 2:08.

Bom dia, Brazil!

I'm John Sullivan and it's my pleasure to come to Brazil

to launch a very important new initiative - the Brazil-U.S Permanent Forum on Security.

Representatives from both of our countries are committed to working together

to keep our citizens safe.

We do that by combatting drug and weapons trafficking,

terrorism, cybercrime, money laundering, and other financial crimes.

We have a shared responsibility for coming up with solutions to these problems.

So we are making our already excellent cooperation in law enforcement and security even better.

Brazil and the United States work together on a broad range of issues:

trade and investment, science and technology, energy and the environment.

We also promote youth educational and professional exchanges

to increase economic opportunities for our peoples.

Last but not least,

travel and tourism between our countries is on the rise.

Our bilateral Open Skies agreement just entered into force,

which will boost travel and trade, enhance connectivity,

and create high quality jobs for both countries.

We also share common values, including a respect for democracy and human rights.

Yet, our neighbors in Venezuela continue to suffer under the corrupt Maduro regime,

one that starves its own people to line its own pockets,

even on the heels of a sham election.

The United States will continue to work with Brazil

and all countries in the Americas to support the Venezuelan people and their fight for freedom.

The United States and Brazil are strong partners,

and that partnership will only grow stronger as we work together to make us more secure and more prosperous.

Thank you, Brazil!
