Chef Nunzio. I want to throw a challenge ... Pasta and beans! A poor, simple, but very good dish.

Hello everyone, and well found in a

new episode of this delicious format. "Challenge Chef Nunzio", today I am

He was challenged to prepare a dish of poor cuisine, but its taste is

far from poor, indeed I would define it creamy, intense and enveloping. Her

recipe, it is lost in the mists of time. It has warmed up and will continue to warm up

hearts on cold winter days. There version that I have prepared, is a mixture between

tradition and innovation, starting from the choice of beans, which has fallen

on white beans, with a neutral flavor and delicate. To flavor, I made a

aromatic oil with a strong flavor and pungent, and to give the rusticity that

deserves this dish, which pasta better if not the maltagliati all'uovo

homemade ! I went on, better go see how it's prepared!

Let's start by preparing fresh pasta egg, there is a video in the column "basics

for recipes and tricks and secrets ", completely dedicated to this

topic, at the top right you find the link of the card. We proceed putting the

flour in a large bowl, we do a furrow with a wooden spoon, in

in which we will break the eggs, a pinch of salt, and we begin to knead

directly with the wooden spoon up when it's possible. To continue then

with your hands, once you get the loaf soda, let's put it to rest

covered, so that you do not take air for at least 10 minutes.

After the necessary time has elapsed, sprinkle with flour,

take a piece of dough, let's stretch it a little, and crush it

lightly with your hands. At this point we maximize the rollers of the

machine for the sheets, we give the first past,

if necessary, we fold the dough in two obtained to give a square shape

of the size of our machine. Then we continue gradually tightening it

thickness, thus obtaining the sheets not overly thin. With a

cutter or a pizza cutter, we trim the obtained puff pastry,

and turn it in two for the long one. let's begin to cut in this way, getting

these triangles of different sizes. We continue in this way until

drain the dough, putting to dry the maltagliati on a floured cutting board.

After a bit of patience a little work here are our beautiful maltagliati,

ready to be used! THE maltagliati are suitable for this type of

soups, because they give rusticity, and then they are very resistant do not flake or not

they are easily darkened. We are ready for go to the stove!

Let's put the pot on the fire, and add the beans. The beans there

obtained by soaking in salt water, with a pinch of bicarbonate, for 12 hours.

We cover them abundantly with water, and add the tomato sauce.

We give a mixed, and the time that start to boil prepare the vegetables.

Peel and whip the carrot, now cut half, then half again for

the long one, and we get some strips, we turn to the other side, and we start to

cut to get small squares. Add them to the beans. We try

coarsely of parsley, e add also, but keeping from

part a little to decorate. Tritiamo finely onion, add it

to our soup, and let it boil. If there is you need it in the first minutes of

boiling, we remove the foam that will rise afloat, with a foam. For

bake beans, they will need to about an hour.

Meanwhile, prepare an oil particular flavored, in fact will have the

task of flavoring the pancetta, and di consequence of the cream of beans. In

mortar we put, the needles of rosemary, add sage, garlic, give one

first crushed. Then we add one extra virgin olive oil,

let's start working, crushing right that much, which does give off to the

rosemary and sage, all of them smell, the oil will act as a conductor to all

these fragrances. After having finished our flavored oil, we put one on the fire

pan, and add it, add still a little oil, and while yes

warm up, let's start cutting the bacon. We remove the rind, which personally

however, I added it to the bean pot to give flavor. We cut slices of

bacon about half a centimeter, and then from these slices we obtain some

listarelle.Non we just have to add pancetta, flavored oil that

sizzles in the pan. Let it cook stirring continuously for 3-4 minutes,

however, the important thing is not to do reach the point of olive oil

smoke. We remove from the heat and leave macerate.

Our beans are cooked. With a foam, we take about half of the beans,

and pour it into a separate bowl. Finally we also add a couple of

ladles of broth, directly from the pot. With a mixer, or a pass,

we reduce in a smooth mousse and velvety our beans. We add

now the flavored bacon that we have prepared before,

mix well, a beautiful ground of black pepper, and let macerate for five

minutes. After we pour the floor plan, little by little in the pot of the

beans, which continues to boil. Mixing and mixing everything.

As soon as the beans reach again boiling, let's lower it to a minimum

flame. Here it is, it has an enveloping smell, a smell that brings you home, to the

family, and good things! Let's put on a pot with water,

saliamola, and just booze and throw inside the maltagliati. They will have to cook for

about 4-5 minutes. In the meantime, let's get ready to set up.

To decorate, I put aside a bit of parsley, a sprig of rosemary, and

I have toasted a slice of bread, then cut it into rhombs. We always put

a paper or cloth napkin in the underplate when we serve a soup.

It has a triple function, the first, do not slip the bowl, the second one, absorbs

possible dripping, and finally, it is a good a decorative element. On the bottom

of the terracotta bowl, pour a nice ladle of beans, directly

then from the pendulum, we pull up with one I skim a portion of pasta, e

deposit it inside the bowl, crushing it, if necessary, with one

fork.

We fill now as much as possible, with the bean mousse,

must give the impression, of be very abundant! We decorate with the

toast in the corner, just one ground black pepper, a bit of color

with parsley, the branch of rosemary near the bread, ed

finally a little extra virgin olive oil raw olive. And here is my pasta

and beans! Ready to warm the heart, ea leave an experience of flavor that

it will be hard to forget. We have really come to the end of this

beautiful video challenge, and of the fantastic recipe that has been achieved.

I hope this recipe is up to my expectations

challenger and yours. Chef Nunzio vi Thanks for coming here,

greets you, and sends you to the next one episode. HELLO BEAUTIFUL!

E92 BMW M3 - The Lone V8 - One Take - Duration: 17:40.

What's up everybody, how you doing very good morning here in an anonymous Canyon

The return of JP thanks JP. JP. A pleasure.

It is a pleasure. You're a great dude. Uh, JP brought a...

...track-oriented -those guys are stoked on these cars- a track-oriented e36 m3 sedan

Check out that video, silver car handled great.

Basically, I got to figure out if I was gonna have buyer's remorse from buying my e46 because I was thinking about buying an e36

I do not have buyer's remorse

Except when it comes to weight. Yeah, there's a little bit of like

Feel like you can be more of a hooligan in e36? Oh, yeah. Because they're not as nice inside

Hey

Who cares? Yeah, but no matter so JP messages me several times after I drove your car saying

Should I S54 swap my E36?

Should I turbo my E36?

Back and forth and then 2 weeks later you're like, "I'm flying somewhere to buy an '08 M3."

Tell us what you got

Yes

so I I was I had a buddy at my old work that had a E92 was like so

It was like supercharged all that fun stuff reach out to TC was like hey, what do you think?

He's like "Don't touch it rod bearings rod bearings rod bearings rod bearings." BUT for six more grand I have

14,000 mile E92 clean as you can get m3

So I ended up within a week flying to Ohio and actually got back on Monday droving 2500 miles back with this car

So far just has the TC Klein double adjustable coil over kit camber plate and besides that

17,000 17500 miles on the odometer and so it's basically basically new so yeah

Someone drove it 1,700 miles- two owners -a year East Coast kept in the garage only driven summer and no rust

No, Rust Wow. No rust man. Yeah

I know! Another East coast car. That's real bold BUT

If you can get

Good pictures and inspected it and stuff it can be done

It just that the seller needs to take really good photos and be willing to you know

Photograph some of the bolts that some people don't want to. Well wow, I'm excited. I

Haven't driven one of these in a long time

Like wow now, I think about it nine years or so

So but I just out of a 335i with modified turbos and a ton of power

Drove my car up here obviously, so this is just gonna be a

The next generation, you know, it's the only v8. They ever made. Yeah S65 and it's a joy and especially coming from the e36

Gonna go downhill, I like that way.

They have 414 horsepower 290 pounds of torque awesome v8 a lot of engine noise

It is surprisingly well it's unfortunately quiet outside the car when you do the drive-bys and you guys don't hear it

It's pretty quiet

These things but if you put an market exhaustion these oh, it's so good because it's a really cool small displacement V8

It's 4.0 liter,

You already gave the power spec we don't have to come back to that again

You know that power band I think it runs like 6,500 rpm and

max torque is available from like eighty percent of the power band a crazy number, which is great. Brake pedals got good feel little

Progressive resistance I would call it doesn't grab right at the top. But once it does grab it, it feels real good

Any brake stuff? No brake stuff. Stock brakes.

We're getting hawk pads on it relatively soon

Okay, and yeah, but besides that until I really get into if I ever decide to do power stuff

Which honestly coming from like the 240 horsepower E36 400HP is plenty for now

But even on my road trip back -was that a bird?

Rest in peace I think he ducked.

Well, I can add a little bird icon to my car now like those bombers.

I cut a duck's head off on my road trip 5 days ago.

Just walked out in the road and I tried to move it it move with me

And there was a blind corner oncoming so I couldn't go further left safely. Oh

And I looked in the rearview mirror and I as like, "ooOOoohhhhh noooo."

Well come back out and get some good barbecue so I've now made a lot of people

In the corners this feels very good. It sets real quick. It leans over what feels like half an inch

Does this have a seat-heater that's stuck on?It's warm.

No, it's not on it does have seat heaters but not on. Okay sets in the corner really quick

Now it bounces we have some undulations in some of the corners that is definitely reacting to

So it's not quite like...Mag Ride is just magicians inside those tubes doing who knows what.

It can handle mid-corner bumps incredibly but this

Feels great

Get good feedback through the brake pedal even though they're stock much better than my car and my car has

Pads and fluid and stainless lines.

And your pedal field is much better than mine.

Almost

Wow, I can like I can just feel almost here like speed leading off through the pedal

Definitely not as quick as the car I just got out of but that's not really fair.

We can't I JP: 335is is is definitely like was it 550HP?

uh, yeah in the fast-setting which we used on the way back, which is

This has like the right amount of power. Everything today

is getting out of its mind

because, frankly power's really easy to make

And that was the press release when this car came out they were like

"you know power is easy to make we wanted to make a broad powerband and something that's special" and I mean they did could have

also been marketing speak but

I think we're gonna we see a lot of people returning to lower power levels and you see them applying

911 ease and older cars just because they enjoy driving them

Yeah, and those were like instead of those more at the limit then you can really with this

Like my E36 you can really like really like wring it out and like still be manageable this I would feel really sketchy

You know going like 10 10ths on a canyon road. Yeah, you don't

You don't want to go 10/10ths on any canyon road, in anything really.

Sorry your front lip scraped a little. JP: No worries

But I feel like you can drive this hard, oh, yeah, I feel like I'm using a lot of the car instead of

Like a new zl1 or whatever you have to just breathe on the gas for the whole trip

And you're going a zillion miles an hour anyway.

Steering feel is o-kay. This is like a progressive servoronic rack.

I do feel some of the road vibration through that wheel, which is nice, which I did not feel in the 335

JP: Definitely has good feedback good. Z: Yeah, it's pretty good. It's not

I don't know if it's as good as your 36 but that had like:

Coilovers and camber plates and a half cage. JP: Well this has coils. I think they're just not nearly as stiff as the E36.

Yeah, and it's also a different rack system. Nice. It's what 15 16 years later

Really nice in the corner. I really like the amount of lean, you know, not much but enough to like talk to you a little bit.

I've yet to actually do a full Canyon

Experience with this car yet, because I was planning actually after this going to another anonymous Canyon in Malibu

It's a real good engine it's just like I feel like I could live with this engine for

Ever. Oh, yeah, and you know, it's got enough torque. It's not like LS torque, but that's okay. You get to rev it out. Yeah

Broad power band, you get to make little adjustments in the pedal

And it sets in, a little bit of understeer...

...that's actually my fault though

I know this is definitely I think for me it was like the e36 was a great track car

Mini was a really fun car. But this is my daily driver. This is like absolutely day-to-day

405 101 10 traffic. Yeah, really like is it's like even the e36 look like my exhaust everything

I just found comfortability of it like in traffic commuting to like work and stuff, sucked.

It had harnesses. Yeah. This is just a joy. This is like the seats kind of grip you they have like this side

Adjustable bolsters, yeah, just what posters so it's like it's definitely definitely nice

I fit in the seat because I'm actually a big guy, which is nice. Whereas E36

It's like a very very tight glove around me

I got news for ya JP, this is a video show, so people can see you. You area very tall

You know, I mean you're big but you're also like a real tall, oh, yeah

Yeah, and the e36 just felt I mean it fit me like your driver seat fit me fine

and uhhhh, I cannot imagine driving on the highway in that.

the 405 is like

Expansion joints. It's like driving over. I don't know

It's like someone threw a bunch of pool cues on the ground and get to drive over those.

People who don't know what concrete freeways feel like

every 50 feet it goes - did

And the stiffer your car the worse it feels.

Man, this thing just slices up road.

Visibility is excellent, another thing I love about M3s and carry over from my car and your car.

The slope of their hood is just really good. That's nice about a compact engine.

We set it far back and the hood can drop away a lot it's also nice that this was before

You know pedestrian impact laws were passed

That's why a lot of new cars have

really tall hoods. Some companies find a way to have their cake and eat it too.

Like the new Aston Martin. It passes those, uh

Crash standards, but it also

you have really good visibility. New Mustang is pretty good at it too.

That's why everything in the front goes- JP: Straight down.

This thing feels great, I mean, of course it feels right 17,000 miles. Are you kidding? Yeah, I know. It's like

2008 10 year old car 7 over 14,000 miles life but 2500 miles on it, but ya know it was absolutely great

Also, another thing is like the v8 is what 30 40 pounds lighter than the inline 6 in your car?

Uuuummmm.

Im getting mixed up.

Lighter engine. And the weight distribution 52 in the front 48 in the back

So it's not not exactly 50/50 but you know

There's always tweaks

I can make at some point to kind of get that number a little bit closer to like a 50/50 balance

Wheelbase is like 109, which is real close to the E46 and that's why these cars just feel so great as GT cars

Its also really is just slide because it's a really long lever and it just talks to ya.

It feels great. JP: Thanks man!

Real solid cars. I just like the power band a lot. I think the clutch pedal is a little too light.

JP: Yeah And your shifter feels like it might have like a bushing loose, or maybe it just actually

dried out, a little bit over time. Yeah, I just got a little

Little crunchiness in there. I mean, although I feel like a brand new car as it should

I mean it changes direction really nice. I can see how it with stock suspension these might feel heavy

It's a big car, but.... It just feels like it has more mass kind of around the back half.

compared to my car coming up here. It is it's a wider car. It's also a bigger commitment

My E36 feels like an old 5-series almost. Yeah may have totally about the same size

It probably is

That's a weird thing to look at if you give anyone out there to compare

Like new Civic to old Accord, or

new Camry to old Corolla

Everything is getting bigger there and it kind it sneaks up on you and then you go wait

The new M3 is the size of the old 7 series

I hope that changes is I hope it reverses

I think we've I hope we've hit peak size

Alright we don't need more space start no more below

You can go back down a little bit and shave weight coming that'll help. All the performance numbers especially mpg, but

Just as something feels as solid as I expected yeah, I

Really really like this power band. It's just super usable not afraid of it at all

You know getting on the gas early

Pulling it to redline

Yeah, I guess a lot of people comment that LS engines don't rev and I always thought that was.. I didn't understand that like what goes

Six five hundred rpm it's got power everywhere. Yeah, and the power never dropped off

But there is something to be said for just driving from five to eight to five

To eight like you can just you can use less gears

Modulate the throttle really. Well, yeah, you know, it's such a fun time

Because stuff like this or the 335. Yeah where other performance cars are

Really affordable. Oh very much. Yeah, there's still so much car like you don't need to go out and get

The new one. Yeah if what you're looking for is a driving experience

I mean if you can afford it like it will have better things at

The new I'm for m3 has like more torque and wind turbo that straight line will smoke this thing

But at the same time it's late forger horsepower 30 grand, you know my e36 selling out for 10

So basically they got this guy for like oh by the way, so maybe 36 10 Grand

Hotel's bitch, but you know, so it's like 20 grand realistically after sales and I got a fucking excuse me 400 horsepower

V8 and three. It's like it's the dream. It's a little so much more comfortable and

my friend just bought a

Laguna Seca blue be 46. Hmm

Mint mint is all meant, you know with some smart mods on it, but it was like 25

Yeah, you know I saw a very different real

So any you'll you will not find I bet a neat 46 with this low mileage with for that price and everywhere

So you can get a ton of car

It's a different experience but not that different. Yeah, that's pretty good. That's one thing I admit

I've actually never been behind the wheel of an e46 m3. So it's like I kind of skip that one generation

So I'm a little still have like that like diamond limbs arrived mine

It has a clunk in the back, of course

I have to get fixed when I poke at home next month and you can totally driver absolutely

Um, this thing just ease it exhausted anything exhaust. You smell bad you get a lot of engine noise

I was gonna go I could crap or a totally butcher the name. I doubt that's their name

No, it has crap in the day. That's right. That's the only reason remember. It's like Ecker crap the Vic epic rap

Crap your bitch, Oh see I put your names all the time drop of it

Yeah

Thanks guys the roast me all day

So, uh

There goes my sponsorship offer but stainless steel

Titanium exhaust I was looking at so definitely exhaust cold air intake to get like a little bit more noise

definitely contemplating dying in some dental work to this guy eventually, but for right now until you get to like

You know the track with this and really get to like know the car. I'm gonna kind of just like leave it alone

Lied to my fiance toes a great family car

I was like, oh it's gonna you know fit our kids in the future. It technically can a lot better than 36. Yeah

Well that yeah that car I mean this is safer in every way. Yeah

Yeah, I think well done. Thanks Belle done really nice good score. And now I can't not think of that good crap

Who else makes a sauce this is that you can offend yeah, I

First thing, it's really important to choose a camping spot that's far away from any exposure,

so choose a place where nothing is going to slide or fall onto you.

Beers in the snow, very important, you don't want to drink warm beer.

First step is to compact the snow,

tuk tuk tuk,

best is to use your skis or your splitboard

and make an area flat, as much as possible,

and you let it sit, ten minutes, and the snow will harden

then it's time to build your tent.

It's important that the flyer can be quite tight with the tent

so it doesn't flap all night with the wind, as that's quite annoying.

So now to attach the tent,

You make a hole like with your shovel, not need, no need to go super deep

especially if the snow is a bit wet

and then you take anything, it could be a little branch

and then you put them down in the snow like sideways, doesn't need to be long

and you just cover it with snow, compact it a bit like this.

Then doing a little hole for the cold is very handy

both for the cold trap, so which will kind of block the cold air at the entry of your tent

and also it will be very handy so that you can sit inside and take off your shoes and leave all the gear in there.

The mattress is super important because that's what's gonna insulate you from the snow and from the cold.

One trick if it gets cold is that you can put an emergency blanket underneath so that it cuts the cold

and then if it's really really cold you can double

so you can have one air mattress and then one little foam mattress.

Building a wall around your tent can be a really good way to protect yourself from the wind

unless it is very snowy or if it's a very big snowstorm,

because then that will gather snow instead of getting rid of it.

Oh there is activity, the mountain is alive,

and that's one of the good things of camping, is to watch the nature evolve and be alive,

because you're in there your not just passing through

you're living with it and that's the beauty of it.

When you go camping on snow, no need to bring like litres and litres of water

you have all the snow in the world which you can melt.

Also a little bit, a little bit of water at the bottom so that you don't burn your pot.

So getting up in the night to go to the bathroom is something that's quite horrible,

getting out of your sleeping bag feels like, ah, impossible.

So one trick for that, is to have an empty bottle that you can do your thing in there.

hee hee hee hee

If you want to dry your liners a good thing to do is to actually take them inside your sleeping bag

because they're gonna dry in there.

Boiling water, into the bottle,

into the sleeping bag, this changes everything.

Keeps you warm all night, you wake up in the morning you even have a little bit of hot water for your tea.

Good night ladies.

[OFFICIAL VIDEO] GODYL - Without You - Duration: 3:14.

Without you

WIthout you

The present I live in is a whirlwind

Of people that show up and then they are gone

It is like when you are a kid and play tag

I could be freed

Only if there was someone else besides us

And even if I do not see you anymore

I still meet people who know you

It makes me feel closer to you even if you are gone

But there is no way

That what kills you will save you

So I took a box

I put all of our memories in it

All of them

I promised to myself

That I would be back

The day I will learn to be without you

Without you

Without you

It was hard

Having your contact

Seeing you online

Choosing not to text you

But I listened to Max [note "Nessun Rimpianto - Max Pezzali]

He said that everyone goes through it

That in the end it will be okay

And then I was doing fine for real

I could not believe it

We met many times

And it was you who wanted me back

But there is no way that it will work between us

So I took that box

The memories do not hurt me anymore

I promised to myself

That I would be back

But why should I when I am better off without you?

Without you

Without you

Without you

Without you

So I took that box

I do not care about it anymore

I am ready to move on now

I just feel lonelier when I am with you

I got rid of that box

I do not feel lonely without you

Watercolor Embossed Cards for Save The Youtuber Hop | Joggles and Marabu Graphix Aquapens - Duration: 13:27.

hi everyone welcome to my channel it's Keren here and I'm so excited to join

another YouTube hop this month today I am joining this save the crafty youtuber

video ho the safe the crafty youtuber hop is a celebration of card-making

video tutorials created by a group of crafters and some of my really good

friends and they all have different styles and levels so we're coming

together in the next five days to give our viewers a chance to discover other

card makers that you might have not discovered before we have so many

sponsors and a ton of prizes I will let you know throughout my video how you can

win those prizes I also have my own prize and stay tuned till the end of the

video so you can find out how to win that prize as well since I love mixed

media I knew that I wanted to create something that would represent me as a

youtuber recently I got these amazing marabou graphics aqua pens and I created

a few videos with them using different techniques and I really wanted to create

a card as well using them I thought it would be a really cool thing to do an

embossing folder technique where I use the markers instead of watercolors I've

used this technique before with embossing folders using inks but I

thought that markers that turn into watercolor which is what these are would

be perfect the markers are water soluble so all you have to do is spray them so I

took a bunch of colors of the markers and I put them on one side of this 3d

embossing folder from Sizzix this is the botanical one and I just sprayed it with

a little bit of water I put my watercolor paper on top and this is a

hundred and forty pound Strathmore watercolor paper and I ran it through my

Big Shot machine then when I opened it up it impressed it and all the

watercolor went in between the most elements so it created a really

cool effect I set the first background to dry and then I took another

watercolor paper and run it through another 3d embossing folder this is the

bohemian botanical I wanted to create a different technique with this one there

are several techniques that you can do with these markers or with any type of

watercolors or inks using embossing folders but I just wanted to focus on

two techniques in this one this second technique I just run the paper through

the 3d embossing folder and then I added the markers in the background randomly

on the page I use the same colors that I'd used before but instead of adding

them on the embossing folder I added them on the paper you don't have to

think too much when you're adding the markers because once you spray them with

water they will dilute into each other and create a really nice watercolor

effect once I was done adding all the colors I used my spray bottle and added

water to the background what I love about these markers is that they dilute

so beautifully on watercolor paper you do need thick watercolor paper but all

you have to do is just spray it with water and I just use the paint brush to

move the color around I let the papers dry really well you can

always heat set them with your heat tool as well and then I really wanted to try

this new tool that I got it's not new to the market but it's new to me it's

called heat wave and what it does is that it can add foil to a background you

can make your own designs and you use it almost like a pen so all I did is take

the foil and move it around on my background and just add almost like

sprinkles of foil and gold color in the background it really gave it a beautiful

texture and I really really liked it you can also use this pen to create your

own titles or your own designs on regular paper because I had like the

texture behind it it gave me a really random looking splatter on the

background while I'm foiling to talk a little bit about how you can

win the prizes from this YouTube hop there are so many prizes to be won

and there is some amazing sponsors who donated those prizes in order to win all

you have to do is leave comments on the different videos and winners will be

chosen randomly within the videos so the more videos you comment on the more

chances you have of winning please indicate if you live in the US or

internationally because some prizes have restrictions but not all of them and

there's a lot of prizes to be won so the chances of you winning are really high

please consider subscribing to all the channels that way you can find more

inspiration and maybe you'll discover a youtuber that you love that you've never

seen before once I finished foiling I took one of the brown water color aqua

pens and all I did is create a border around my cards I went around the edges

of the card and created a fine line using the brush side of the marker this

marker has two sides and you can use it as a marker or as a watercolor these

markers are available at juggles and the list to all the products are listed

below in the description area juggles actually has these markers on a huge

promotion they're 50% off and you can get them from their site I linked it

below in my description area and job loss is actually donating a $25 gift

certificate that will be giving away as the prize of my youtube channel to win

that prize all you have to do is leave a comment on my video and be a subscriber

of my channel juggles has an amazing array of products all different type of

products so if you do want to get these markers or anything else that they have

leave a comment and subscribe to my channel for my focal point I use the

beautiful de Alta new stamp and I stamped it on the same watercolor paper

this is a watercolor tag sold by juggles and I

really like this watercolor paper that it's made of so I wanted to make sure

that I use the same one as I had used in the background

I took a flower and a leaf motif from the stamp set and I went and stamped it

using embossing ink I added some anti-static powder and then

added the ink to my stamps and then embossed them in gold embossing powder I

really wanted to show how the you can use these pens to watercolor images as

well and paint inside stamped images I use my Tim Holtz stamp platform to stamp

this is a layered stamp from alter knew but I only use the last layer that gives

you the defining shape I really wanted my focal point to be a flower and that

was a beautiful flower that I loved the embossing powder I use is the princess

gold from Ranger and it's a beautiful dark gold that really matched the gold

foil that I had added in the background the image didn't fully stamp onto the

background so I Reece temptin and then added more embossing powder and heat set

it I will show you how I colored one flower and one leaf but I use the same

technique to color both flowers I took a pen that can be filled with water and

use the markers to add color to the background and then the water brush to

blend the colors I started with the lightest colors first which is the

yellow and blended it and then I added the orange and the red as well these

markers are highly pigmented so you don't need to add a lot in order to get

color so I added very little bit to create some shading in certain areas

using the orange and then use my water brush to blend it then I did the same

thing with the red color I even added it in the center to really have it blend

towards the inside of the flower I added even more shading of red

but I had to heat set it in between because the flower was too wet so I heat

set the background and then added a few more touches of the red to add some more

shading this is a really important step because you really want to make the

flower look 3d so I used the water brush again to blend the edges and create that

3d effect finally I went in with the orange again to add a little bit more in

the center and that made it look like a two-tone flower the nice thing about

having it embossed is that the embossed area resists the water color so the

lines stay defined throughout the coloring to color in the leaves I

started also with the lightest color which is the light green and added it in

small areas of my leaf and blended it with the same water brush then I took

the medium green color and added it in the corners of the leaves I added very

little bit because I didn't want it to overpower the light color and finally I

took the darker color and added very little bit just at the edges of the leaf

to just blend in the darker color as well that gives it a three tone effect

the funny thing is that these outer new stamps actually come with all the layers

to create the same effect using stamping but I wanted to do this with watercolor

instead I originally thought I was going to use the flower and put it on top of

the backgrounds but the colors clash too much because they were too similar and

it was too busy so what I decided to do is to take the backgrounds I cut them

into a 4 by 4 square and cut a smaller square inside using my umbrella craft

scrapbook comm dies then I use the same square dies and created a frame which I

cut out of white cardstock I cut three squared frames and stuck them on top of

each other because I really wanted to create a 3d window

then I took some foam tape and stuck the background on to four and a quarter by

four and a quarter note card I added the foam tape only on two edges of the

background because I wanted to make sure that I could fit in the flower inside I

stuck the background onto the note card leaving some space on the edges then I

took the frames and I glued them on to the window that I had created that

elevated the frame and created a 3d effect in the middle the flowers and

leaves where die-cut with the matching die set from altenew and i'm linking

that set with the dies below if you are interested in buying it then I took the

flower and I stuck it inside the window frame then I took the leaves and I had

to cut them in order to make them fit in the background I played around with the

leaves until I liked the way it looked around the frame finally I stamped a

thank you sentiment from hero arts stamp set onto white cardstock I cut it up and

then I used a little bit of foam tape to glue it right against the square frame

that helped Center everything and not take away from the focal point thank you

What Is the Apocrypha? - Duration: 5:27.

(music)

- Apocrypha comes from a Greek word apokryphos,

which means to hide, what is hidden.

And the English word apocryphal has come to mean false.

So when people talk about the Apocrypha,

as Protestants, as a Protestant Evangelical,

I'm talking about additional books

that I don't believe are part of the canon,

but additional books that some Christian traditions,

like Catholicism, and Eastern Orthodoxy

include within their Old Testament canon.

There's no debate about the content of the New Testament

among major Christian traditions.

It's as some people have said, it's amazing

when you look at the diversity and geographical spread,

and there's this affirmation

of the 27 book New Testament canon that we have.

But depending on how you divide it up,

because there's portions of books and so on,

whether it's 12 additional books,

or for Eastern Orthodoxy there's even more.

Where did these books come from?

And why do Protestants

not believe they're part of the canon?

The easy explanation for this is to say

Jesus and the apostles didn't believe

this was part of the canon.

The Jews who wrote these books in the time

between the Old and New Testament

never included it in their canon,

they're not in the synagogue that you go to,

they're not quoted as Scripture,

with as the Scripture says, as Word of God says,

they're not quoted as Scripture in the New Testament.

And so we don't believe that those

should be included within our canon.

The Apocrypha also contains clear historical error,

unlike the Old and New Testament Scriptures.

You can see lists of these errors, for example

in Paul Wagner's book The Journey from Text to Translations.

The Catholic Church, there were certain regional councils

that affirmed books of the Apocrypha,

but a church-wide council did not affirm the Apocrypha

as Scripture within the Catholic Church,

until the Council of Trent in 1546,

in reaction against the Protestant Reformation.

So that should give us pause

if we don't have a church-wide council affirming those books

until a reaction against Protestants.

And having said that, I teach at a Baptist Seminary,

and so many times students who come

from the Baptist tradition are very skeptical

about the Apocrypha, they think it's almost

like an evil book, don't read it.

But I think that's wrong.

I mean these are books that are written by early Jews

who were seeking to live a life,

many times pleasing to God, there's a diversity within it,

but portions of the Apocrypha,

sound just like the Psalms,

calling out to God in praise for His attributes.

There's a beautiful passage in Sirach 38 about physicians,

that don't despise the physician, pray to God for healing,

but don't be afraid to go to the physician

because God's given him wisdom about the herbs of the Earth

and how they can heal you too.

So we read this and we think this is people seeking to live,

to serve God many times, I've always thought

the Book of Tobit would make an amazing Disney movie.

It's not Scripture, but if you read the Book of Tobit,

it has love, it has intrigue, and it's really enjoyable

to read as a book, but it's not Scripture.

We can also when we read the Apocrypha,

it can help us understand what happened

between the last book of the Old Testament

and Jesus's ministry.

And where did these Pharisees come from?

Where did these Sadducees come from?

That story is told really in the Apocrypha,

you read 1 and 2 Maccabees.

And so it gives us helpful historical background.

Within the Protestant tradition, I've found

that there are really two strands.

There's a strand that ends up in sort of Anglicanism,

the English Church, and then there's a strand

that's more like Baptist and Presbyterian,

and I guess Lutheranism would be over here with Anglicanism,

and they will use words from the Apocrypha

for hymns and other things like that,

they don't believe it's Scripture.

But within the Baptist and more Presbyterian tradition,

it's really only looked at as valuable

for historical background many times.

But if you look in your hymnal,

sometimes we even sing hymns based on the Apocrypha,

but it usually doesn't say that in our hymnal.

For example, the famous hymn "Now Thank We All Our God"

which is in the Baptist hymnal,

is based on Sirach 50, almost word for word,

this beautiful hymn to God.

Now thank we all our God, with hearts and hands and voices,

who wondrous things has done, in whom this world rejoices.

Or the famous Christmas carol

"It Came Upon a Midnight Clear"

is based upon a text out of the Apocrypha.

So the Apocrypha's not Scripture,

but it is helpful sometimes to understand

the things that happened between the Testaments.

And some Christian traditions have written hymns

and other things that use

some of the wording of the Apocrypha.

The quest for the perfect apple - Duration: 4:44.

This ad isn't what you think.

It's not promoting a sports team or a grill company.

It's for an apple.

And unlike those that have dominated the produce section when you were a kid, new breeds like

this one have catchy names, logos, and slogans.

And are trying to generate buzz before you can buy them.

Historically, our produce has gone unbranded.

So how did we end up with all these apples?

For most of the past century, America's iconic apple was that of Snow White.

Lipstick red, with shiny skin and a crisp white interior, a.k.a. "the Red Delicious."

First grown on an orchard in Iowa and originally named after its founder, when it came out

in the late 1800s, it was dubbed "the best apple of any time"

Growers and retail stores loved the Red delicious because it looked good.

It was uniform in size and color, turned red before it was ripe, and wouldn't bruise

easily.

And Americans loved the taste.

By the 1980s, close to half of all apples grown in the US were Red Delicious.

The trouble is, when you bite into one now, it often doesn't taste great.

People complain of mushy flesh and tough skin. Its defining characteristic can sometimes be that

it has no flavor at all.

It takes years and a lot of money to develop a good tasting apple, but growers were incentivized

to cut costs -- at the expense of taste.

That is, until one apple proved them all wrong.

The Honeycrisp.

The honeycrisp is everything that the Red Delicious was not.

When it came out in market in 1991, after 30 years of development, it had a refreshing

taste, a delicate skin, and a soft, juicy crunch.

And even though it can cost more than two times the average price of apples, consumers

then and now are willing to pay a premium price, so much so that it's now the fifth

most produced apple in the US.

So the honeycrisp started a sort of revolution in the apple industry: Now that people knew

expensive, flavor-focused apples would sell, breeders experimented to create tastier, more

inventive varieties.

And they sought to protect their apples' good names,

by patenting their trees and trademarking their brand names.

This process picked up speed after a 1980 federal law allowed universities to own and

patent their inventions, including apple trees.

And research programs for apple breeding took advantage of the new rules.

In order to plant these new patented varieties, growers had to pay up: usually about $1 per

patented tree and a portion of sales for use of a trademarked name.

Plus, each trademarked apple had to pass muster on firmness, sugar content, blemishes and

color.

These quality checks mean that even though the trademarked Pink Lady and the generic

Cripps Pink originate from the same type of tree, they look and taste different — the

Pink Lady is held to rigorous trademark standards and that is what, the company says, justifies

their higher price.

Now, not all new apples get trademarked.

It is only those that experts believe can garner a premium price.

And it can take up to 10 years after securing a patent and trademark to plant and grow enough

trees for commercial production.

So while they waited on the fruits of their labor, growers worked on marketing their apple

in the hopes finding loyal consumers in a competitive market.

And they're not alone.

Visit your grocery store and you will see a lot more name brands in the produce section.

Branded fruits and vegetables are a growing trend.

While not all branded apples will see success on par with the honeycrisp, there is one that

has high hopes.

Washington State growers are ramping up production of their Cosmic Crisp, an apple that's both

sweet and tart, firm and crisp, and much easier to grow than the honeycrisp.

They're trying to get people excited about tasting something new and that's not a bad

thing.

While we could see higher prices in the future, the fruits and veggies themselves will be

objectively better.

And consumers will have more options, just like we do with our phones, or our computers,

or our cereal.

And now, our apples.

How To Buy One Million Dollars Of Real Estate In 8 Months Using Subject To - Duration: 4:37.

Hey, it's Joe.

This next question is, "How do I buy a million dollars in real estate in 8 months using your

subject to method?"

Let me define subject to real quickly so you understand what that is.

It's taking a property subject to the existing loan.

You're not qualifying for that loan, you're not taking out a loan with a bank, you're

not using any of your cash.

All that's happening is you've got a seller who has a property with a mortgage on it.

Usually a mortgage that's pretty high loan to value.

So let's say 90% of the loan to value.

Let's just take an example, $100K property that has a $90K mortgage on it that has $1,200/month

of income and $800/month payments.

So you've got a nice spread on that property.

You've got a little bit of equity in the property, it's maybe got 20 years left of

mortgage payments to go.

And that person that owns that property, that seller, deeds you the property with a warranty

deed.

You take that property, now you're the owner of that property, and you're going to make

payments directly to the bank on that guy's existing loan.

His loan is going to stay in his name.

If you screw up his payments, you're going to screw up his credit.

So you have to take a very high level of responsibility when you take on a property like this.

I don't want teach this to people and have them go out there and screw up people's

credit.

And in fact, if you did that a lot, I knew a guy that, not one of my students, thankfully,

but I knew a guy that went out there, he bought a bunch of properties subject to, he rented

them out, he took the rent and he collected the rent, but he didn't make the payments.

That's fraud and that can get you put in jail.

He skirted jail somehow.

But he screwed up the credit of lots and lots of people doing that.

And I think he should have gone to jail.

So that's subject to, and that's how that process works.

Now, let's say you buy $150K properties on average, and you're probably not going

to be buying properties that are subject to for more than $250K.

If you buy them over $250K there probably won't be enough income on those properties

to cover the mortgage.

So you always want to have cash flow in your property.

And then when you buy those properties subject to, you're going to turn around, usually

sell them on a lease option, take a chunk of money, maybe $5K, $10K, $20K as a lease

option fee that you'll put in an escrow account for a rainy day.

You maybe spend part of it, but most of it's going to sit in that escrow account for a

rainy day.

And you're going to let the buyer make the payments on that property over the next three

years.

They may exercise the option and you make that spread of money, and you sell the property.

If they don't, you keep that property, put another person in there, another lease option

buyer, get another $5K, $10K in cash, you know, do any repairs that need to be done,

keep that property, continue to get the tax benefits, continue to get the buy down on

the note every month, and continue to get the depreciation on the property for your

taxes as well.

So, all those things benefit you during that time.

So, let's say you do this with $150K property.

If you buy eight of those in one year, that's one every six weeks, is all you have to find

to be able to do that.

And if you're using, if you're constantly bringing in new leads using for sale by owner,

using other sources, you're going to be able to find subject to properties that you

can do that with.

I've had so many of my students buy way more than a million dollars in property in

one year.

Sustainable properties.

Properties with cash flow.

Properties that made them a chunk of money when they purchased it.

These aren't just zero down deals we're doing.

We're actually making cash at closing, you know?

We don't want to buy these properties unless we get cash at closing, either from the seller

or usually from the buyer.

So that's how you do it.

It doesn't, this isn't rocket science.

You just need to set up your pipeline to make that work.

Now, it's going to probably take you three or four months before you get your first,

before you learn how to do your first one, but once you get that done, there's no reason

that you can't buy a million dollars in properties within the next few months after

that.

And I've had lots of students who have done that.

All right.

Good luck to you.

3 BIG MISTAKES THAT GIVE YOU BELLY FAT - Duration: 3:40.

Avoiding these three mistakes can literally be the game-changer that you have been waiting for before I get into the video though

I want to emphasize that a little bit of belly fat is totally normal. This is me doing a stomach vacuum

This is me posing and this is me after a lunch

So rub your belly and be happy because you are totally normal

That being said you might be making some of these very simple mistakes that you can easily change

Without doing a whole lot mistake. Number one. You don't know how to read a food label. Don't feel bad

Nobody is born knowing how to read a food label in just a moment

I will be showing you exactly what you need to be looking at. It's only one thing and it will help you to avoid

Unnecessary belly fat mistake number two. You don't pay your vegetable tax. What's that? You've never heard of a vegetable tax

I'll explain it to you in just a moment mistake number three you have allowed the food industry to catfish you

I consider a food to be catfish if it looks healthy, but it's secretly making you gain belly fat

I'll show you the two most shocking ones are found and

You're not gonna believe it. Okay, now we know the mistakes

Let's talk about how to fix them when you look at a food label

I want you to focus on just one thing and it is the

number of grams of sugar the food contains this bottle of coke contains

65 grams of sugar and there is a guideline for how much sugar to eat per day

It is 25 grams of sugar per day for women

Mistake number two, you don't pay your vegetable tax. Let me explain before you eat your food at lunch

You need to take a bowl a separate bowl from your meal and fill it up with vegetables. You don't have to like it

That's why it's a tax. You just have to pay it because you have a goal to lose belly fat

So before you're allowed to eat your delicious carbs at lunch sit down and eat all of it

This is your vegetable tax. If you are new to this concept do it twice a week Mondays on Tuesdays. That's it

One of the biggest benefits of doing this is that it can actually help you to stabilize your hormones

Mistake number three was that you have allowed the food industry to catfish you and I promise to tell you the two most

shocking ones that I have found

The first one is with fruit drinks when you look on these bottles

You see pictures of fruit like oranges or pine bowls and you think you're getting something relatively healthy

You think it's probably better than soda. Well I have news for you

If you look on the side of a lot of these bottles, they only contain two percent or less of actual fruit juice

So what's the remaining 98 percent you ask? I'll tell you its water and

Surprise sugar from now on don't fall for these tricks. They're better off. Just eating the actual fruit

The other one I was gonna tell you about is reduced fat peanut butter

You might think that when you buy a reduced fat peanut butter

It's better than buying the full fat peanut butter

Until you look at the label and see that they contain pretty much exactly the same amount of calories

There is twice the amount of sodium in the reduced fat peanut butter

I hope this video has been really helpful to you in giving you more information about how to fight belly fat

Don't keep this information to yourself share with your friends and family. Share it on Facebook

Tell everyone and subscribe if you haven't done so already I will see you in my next

Video which may or may not be a workout we shall see

Here's How Much The Stars Of Southern Charm Are Actually Worth - Duration: 9:26.

Since its debut in 2014, Southern Charm fans have grown accustomed to watching the lavish

lifestyle of Charleston's status-obsessed socialites.

Though it seems like many of the cast members come from family money, not everyone on Southern

Charm is raking in millions.

"I think I may need something stronger than a tea here, Whitney."

Brewing a bundle Austen Kroll joined Southern Charm during

Season 4, and since he's a relatively new cast member, his net worth is tough to pin

down.

On paper, Kroll appears to be one of the less affluent members of the cast.

He became immersed in the world of craft beer after moving to Charleston, but he previously

served as a cellar man for Palmetto Brewing Company, Charleston's oldest brewery since

the Prohibition era.

Sources say that working in a brewery cellar in Charleston typically pulls in around $22,000

a year.

Kroll left that position in 2016 and became the territory sales manager of Red Hare Brewing

Company, a Georgia-based craft brewery, a position that typically nets nearly $60,000

a year.

While Kroll's job doesn't make him rich like some of his castmates, he's currently working

on his own beer company, so the sky's the limit for the fortune he could brew.

Nursing a decent living Ashley Jacobs got her start on Southern Charm

when she moved to Charleston to be with then-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel.

"Who would have moved across the country for someone they didn't know that well?"

"Some girls are thirsty!"

"Dehydrated."

The high-profile pair quickly became one of reality TV's most hated couples, in no small

part because of assault allegations against Ravenel.

Jacobs, who appeared without her beau during a reunion special, told host Andy Cohen the

allegations were "all hearsay."

Though Jacobs' net worth is unclear, Romper reports that she worked as a nurse in Santa

Barbara, California and appears to have continued her career in Charleston.

According to GlassDoor, registered nurses in Santa Barbara make an average of about

$105,000 per year, but nurses in Charleston get paid 12 percent below the national average.

That's okay, because Radar Online claims Southern Charm cast members receive $25,000 per episode,

plus a bonus for reunions.

She's since split with Ravenel, but thanks to her income as a nurse and her Southern

Charm paychecks, she probably won't be hurting without his fortune.

If she's smart with her money, she should be just fine.

DIY fortune Craig Conover's career has been a focal point

of more than a few Southern Charm episodes.

The Jack of all trades admitted to lying about graduating from law school and was called

out by co-star Shep Rose in an incident Bravo dubbed "lawyergate."

"I sat there with him and basically co-signed the BAR application, we stuffed it in an envelope.

And I was like, 'Where the hell did that letter go to?'"

He's since tried his hand as a carpenter, gardener, and real estate investor while exploring

his passion for sewing through a lifestyle brand called Flawed Creation.

In an interview with Decider, Conover talked about his plans for the brand, which will

reportedly sell throw pillows, custom onesies and, quote, "anything else you would want

to embroider."

One thing is certain: He didn't amass his reported $400,000 net worth by spending his

afternoons crafting.

He's got his own company called Apex Principles and worked as a litigation assistant and in

the pharmaceutical division of a law firm.

In a move that shocked longtime fans of the series, Conover eventually did finish his

degree and pass the bar exam - well done!

Will he be the next Martha Stewart?

Only time will tell.

Doing très well Naomie Olindo finally pulled the plug on her

relationship with Craig Conover after questioning his sewing-related business endeavors.

Perhaps this Southern Charm star was a little annoyed about Conover's ever-shifting career

interests.

From the looks of it, she's a focused career woman who's reportedly amassed an estimated

$500,000 net worth as of 2016.

In an interview with Decider, Olindo revealed she graduated from a finance-focused MBA program

in July 2017 and launched her own business.

According to Romper, the star used to work in real estate and also helped with the opening

of her family's Charleston-based restaurant called Nico.

Her family also reportedly owns several restaurants in France, by the way.

With all these endeavors, this woman's bottom line is probably très healthy.

Basically Southern royalty From the looks of it, Kathryn Dennis doesn't

really have a lot of professional endeavors going on outside of being a mother to Thomas

Ravenel's children.

Then again, do you really need a second career if you can collect a decent paycheck hawking

diet shakes on Instagram to your 750,000-plus followers?

Dennis' estimated $800,000 net worth appears to be a mix of her reported $25,000 per episode

pay on Southern Charm, social media partnerships, and family money.

According to Bravo, Dennis is related to John C. Calhoun, the seventh vice president of

the United States, who served alongside Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams.

Her grandfather is Rembert Dennis, who served as a legislator in the South Carolina senate

from 1943 to 1998.

She's basically Southern royalty.

The first million Chelsea Meissner has appeared on Southern

Charm since 2016, but she became a main cast member in Season 5.

As part of the core group, she's responsible for her fair share of drama, but what we really

want to know is how a South Carolina hairdresser and surfer babe managed to rack up an estimated

net worth of $1.2 million.

Meissner started her career in medical sales before taking a year off to travel and eventually

become a hairdresser.

The average hairstylist in Charleston makes less than $25,000 a year according to reports

- the same amount as Bravo's reported per episode payout on Southern Charm.

Reality TV has been good to Meissner, who made it to the final elimination round during

Season 24 of Survivor.

On top of her reality TV earnings, Meissner stands to make a pretty penny on brand partnerships.

Putting the bank in Eubanks Cameran Eubanks follows the trend of the Bravo

real estate moguls that came before her, and if you know anything about the network, you

know there are plenty.

The girl may not be on Million Dollar Listing, but her impressive estimated net worth of

$1.5 million speaks for itself.

Eubanks has had a rich career in reality TV.

She hosted Girls Gone Wild and appeared on MTV's The Real World: San Diego.

Southern Charm is nothing new for the TV veteran, but her net worth probably spiked when she

married a doctor in 2014.

According to Good Housekeeping, husband Jason Wimberly is an anesthesiologist who never

appears on the show.

"He just doesn't want to be on camera, which I don't blame him.

I get it.

Not everybody is, you know, built for reality television."

Anesthesiologists typically make more than $350,000 a year, so this duo should be doing

just fine.

Creating an empire Whitney Sudler-Smith's reported $2 million

net worth shouldn't be surprising.

His mother is the rich socialite Patricia Altschul, who's known to sip on $2,000 bottles

of wine.

He's also the filmmaker responsible for all the dramatic goodness of Southern Charm.

Though Sudler-Smith, who created the series, left as a cast member in 2016, he still serves

as an executive producer.

He also added Southern Charm Savannah and Southern Charm New Orleans to his numerous

successes in 2017 and 2018, respectively.

Raking it in Shepard "Shep" Rose is one of the most infamous

Southern Charm cast members, and he's also one of the richest, with an estimated current

net worth of about $4 million.

In 2017, Romper reported that Shep's net worth was a paltry $200,000, so he must have made

some money moves and capitalized on his reality TV run in a very short time.

"I'm fortunate enough to kind of have fun and do my thing."

On the series, Shep appears to suffer from a lack of responsibility and penchant for

partying, but he's certainly grown up enough to launch a career in resort development and

move to Dubai to sell commercial real estate.

When he returned to Charleston, the notorious playboy opened a bar and restaurant called

The Palace Hotel.

Matriarch worth millions Patricia Altschul is the matriarch of Southern

Charm.

Whether she's recognizing the elegance in a well-worn caftan, calling foul on a castmate's

relationship, or cutting someone off after "uncalled for" behavior, Altschul is not afraid

to express her polarizing opinions with class.

As mom to show creator Whitney Sudler-Smith, you can always count on the 70-something socialite

to spill the tea.

With an estimated net worth of $20 million, Altschul is one of the wealthiest members

of the Southern Charm gang - and her life seems like it's been ripped from the pages

of Gossip Girl.

According to Bravo, the star married prominent psychologist Edward Fleming years after divorcing

Sudler-Smith's father.

Fleming and Altschul sailed around the world for a year and a half, but eventually, she

reconnected with her old friend Arthur Altschul, a Goldman Sachs Group partner and Wall Street

mogul.

They were married until his death in 2002.

I Hate Being Called Shy 🤫😤 - Duration: 7:48.

- Hey, YouTube World! It's me, Evelyn.

The other day on Instagram I asked my internet

cousins for some video ideas, video suggestions,

topics, things you want to me discuss,

'cause I was feelin' a tinge, a bit dehydrated.

And y'all came through, I appreciate you.

This question stuck out to me.

And ladyfray11 asked, hey ladyfray11,

how I keep myself from caring what

other people think about me.

My immediate reaction upon seeing that question,

oh, I care.

You think I don't care?

I care a lot (cough), I care so much.

Whether we realize it or not,

we all have an image that we're

trying to push out into the world.

It can be what we say, how we speak,

how we act, how we walk, the things we wear,

and when people misinterpret that image

that we're putting out into the world,

it can be a little #frustrating.

Now I know this question probably meant

how do you stop caring what other people think

when it comes to like haters or people not supporting

you or seeing your vision, you feel me?

But what came to my mind was how I hate

when people misinterpret my personality.

I hate being called shy.

Now you might be like, Evelyn?

Shy?

Who, what, where, when, why, how?

(bloop) You know,

I consider myself to be observant.

I genuinely enjoy listening to other people speak.

Now whether I remember what people say is another

skill entirely that I don't possess, but...

I remember when I was in high school and I told my aunt

about how I plan on going to college for journalism.

She looked at me and she said,

wow, I never coulda pictured you doing that,

like going out and interviewing

people because you're so shy.

And it really peeved me. (explosion)

Because I'm not shy.

I'm just quiet sometimes.

Or maybe you're just very loud, obnoxious.

Or maybe you're very boring, vapid,

(bloop) dry,

uninspiring, giving me nothing, ashy.

Shy is being afraid.

It's being anxious. (bloop)

It's that Piglet from Winnie the Pooh energy.

It's that Shy Ronnie from SNL energy.

Quiet is choosing (bloop)

your words wisely.

Waiting for the optimum moment in which to share yourself.

Quiet is diggin' in the scene with a gangsta lean, okay?

(bloop)

I will admit, I'm quiet.

Okay?

You all not gonna shame me for my silence, though.

Your conversation is likely not awakening anything

within my spirit and I have nothing to add.

Mm hmm.

Oh yeah.

Ha ha ha.

(laughs)

My voice is a gift.

(bloop)

And you probably haven't earned it, hmm?

And also, I will not talk over anyone.

(bloop) I do not fight for spotlight.

I make videos on the internets, okay?

Ooo, did I do that right?

(bloop)

I sit alone. - [Man] Alone, alone.

- By myself, in a room alone,

- [Woman] Alone.

- [Man] Alone, alone. - talking to a camera alone.

And what I'm serving people is me.

This is a retelling of myself.

I am performing myself.

You know how like in movies there are celebrity

cameos and it's like Michael Jackson plays himself.

I'm not saying I'm the King of Pop,

I'm just saying that this is

how I talk to myself in my head.

If you're my friend in real life,

this is how I tell stories.

This is how I get when I'm hype about stuff.

That doesn't mean you'll find me walking

down the street or at a party where I know nobody

or in the line of the post office just gesturing

wildly and doin' a impromptu smack your lip.

If I just met you and you happen to know more about me

than I know about you, just remember that this energy,

it's not there yet, okay?

Give the kid some time.

Introduce yourself.

What's your name?

Pleased to make your acquaintance.

(Ding)

Shy is not the same as quiet.

And shy is also not the same as introverted.

You all not gonna give me social anxiety, okay?

I do not claim that.

Amen.

That is a real affliction I rebuke.

Being shy and anxious is not the same as being introverted.

I just get my energy from being alone.

Sure, I get my energy from being alone,

but I also love making a group of people laugh.

Yes, I am generally a very private person,

yet I extrapolate certain things from my life

and share them via video on the internets.

I have lots of talents that I do not share on cue

because I also hate being told what to do,

even if I want to do it.

Y'all not gonna get me to dance, okay?

Y'all not gonna, y'all not, that's not what I do.

It is good to hear other people's experience of you.

So that you know what you're giving people

and if you agree with it or not.

You know, I do care what people think.

I don't want people to think that

I'm scared or nervous when I'm not.

I do care that someone's notions,

whether they're preconceived or from talking to me,

I do care that those notions don't match my reality.

Anyway, I went to college and lived

my best totally not shy life, okay?

This is a photo of me at a party.

I was probably 18, 19 maybe in this photo.

I am standing on somebody's couch hittin' the,

what is that, the Frankie, the Ricky Bobby,

the Flex, what is that?

It is Texas and the year was 2009, after all.

Does that look like a shy, shy girl to you, auntie?

No.

So stop it.

The doctrine of justification by faith alone is the article upon which the church stands or falls.

The article that is so important that he said, "that if we lose it, we lose Christianity."

If you don't have the doctrine of justification by faith alone, you don't have the gospel,

and if you don't have the gospel the church has no reason to exist.

The church itself ceases to be a church and falls into apostasy because it is the article

Got not very bad. I

Know, all right
