hey guys so this is going to be your tutorial on how you can do the extra credit that I

outlined on your syllabus multiplication facts are very important so you are either very

good at them and are ready to go or for some reason you always struggled with them or you

never actually memorized them the multiplication facts so this is your way of being able to

do this on your own and be able to receive some extra credit for the class.

If you have hopefully already gone through your syllabus and have looked at it it is

going to be towards your homework assignments and if you have any questions on that please

feel free to come see me or come see me during office hours or send me an email.

so this is the first thing you are going to do is go to the website www.multiplication.com

now you don't have to sign up for it these are completely free; however if you would

like the website to actually remember your progress and keep you updated so that you

keep improving on the multiplication facts go ahead and let me know so that I can actually

set up an account for you guys and then I will send you an email with your username

and password ok, so let me show you how to log in.

And I am going to show you twice, I am going to show you how you can do it with an actual

account like how I am about to do it right now, remember I set this up for you and you

let me know.

We are not going to do any of this right here what you want to do is you want to go to the

top of these options up here and you want to do the auto score quizzes ok?

again this is me being signed in, we are not going to do anything except that of multiplication

and these are the ones that I am talking about that if you do want to create an account,

and I can create that for you for free, it will remember your facts.

you to do this Three times, three of them will be considered for one full assignment

extra credit , so if you don't do the three of them I won't be able to give you the extra

credit.

And as you can tell the reason why I say three is because it goes pretty quickly, now this

is what I need you guys to print for me, now you can either print it if you have a printer

at home or if you want to go into the learning center or you can change it and save it as

a PDF file ok, you have that option, you can change it here where the printer option is

and change it to save as a PDF file and if you do that you can go ahead and email it

to me.

So whatever you feel most comfortable with, either email or print it out and give it to

me in class is up to you guys ok.

So that is pretty much it, there's a whole lot of different things you can do on here

that I am going to have you guys take a moment and actually explore; however if you don't

want to do a log in, you don't have to.

You can automatically go to auto scored quizzes and do the same thing.

The only problem is it won't remember, it will start fresh every single time and it

won't give you a lot of resources like you would get if you actually were to log in.

El coste de la expropiación será de unos 500.000 euros, según explicó el delegado de Desarrollo Urbano Sostenible, José Manuel Calvo

El edil explicó que el Consistorio "expropiará el conjunto y procederá al realojo de las familias que ocupan las 12 viviendas del inmueble, actualmente muy deteriorado"

La intención municipal es albergar en el inmueble un "equipamiento cultural". El miércoles, el concejal-presidente de los distritos de Puente y Villa de Vallecas, Paco Pérez, se reunió con la plataforma #SalvaPeironcely10, que ha presentado su propuesta para la creación del Centro Robert Capa

La plataforma propone crear «un pequeño museo» que explique a los madrileños la situación que vivió la población civil con los bombardeos aéreos sucedidos en la ciudad durante la Guerra Civil

El lugar contaría con una sala de exposiciones de 258 metros cuadrados, un salón polivalente para proyecciones y conferencias de 43 metros cuadrados, y la recreación de una vivienda según el diseño original, que permita al visitante hacerse una idea de cómo era la vida en el lugar

Según el concejal del distrito, la declaración de bien protegido y el cambio de uso residencial a dotación cultural de este edificio será «decisivo» y permitirá «incluir en el Catálogo de Bienes Municipales Protegidos» esta vivienda, además de «resolver la problemática social y de vivienda de los vecinos y vecinas que viven en el edificio»

Las familias, a la espera de ser deshauciadas Respecto a las familias que actualmente viven en el inmueble, y que serán desahuciadas en los próximos meses, el edil señaló que la solución es la expropiación de la vivienda, que generaría «un derecho a realojo de los vecinos» y permitiría «desplegar ayudas, siempre individualizadas», por parte de la Junta Municipal «para aquellas personas que lo necesiten»

El concejal del PP Pedro Corral apoya también la propuesta de creación del centro, y afirma que la Comunidad de Madrid también lo apoya, además de barajar la opción de expropiación

«Todos los grupos políticos debemos ir de la mano para conocer la historiad de Madrid en un periodo tan trágico», indicó

En cuanto a los desahucios de los vecinos, señaló ayer que «habrá que hacer un realojo» de las familias además de «poner a su disposición nuestros servicios sociales y de atención»

Algo con lo que también están de acuerdo en Ciudadanos, cuya responsable de Cultura en el Ayuntamiento de Madrid, Sofía Miranda, señala que «desde la formación respaldan el proyecto» pero que, aunque existe un compromiso para realojar a estas familias, «el Ayuntamiento no cuenta con viviendas disponibles»

Sindicato de la Semarnat advierte "compleja problemática" en plan descentralizador de AMLO - Duration: 2:29.

CIUDAD DE MÉXICO (apro).– El Comité Ejecutivo Nacional del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (Semarnat) envió una misiva al virtual presidente electo, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, en la que expresan su rechazo a la descentralización de la dependencia, porque –dice—los trabajadores resultarían afectados

En cinco cuartillas firmadas por el secretario general del SNTSEMARNAT, Ignacio Ocampo Esquivel, y el presidente del Consejo de Vigilancia del gremio, Santiago García López, pidieron tomar en cuenta que la mayoría de los trabajadores cuentan con un crédito hipotecario, "mismo que se está amortizando de acuerdo a su nivel de percepciones actuales, situación que les impedirá pagar otro, en el supuesto que se les conceda otro para una nueva vivienda"

Destacaron los casos en los que ambos cónyuges trabajan en el gobierno federal, en dependencias o entidades distintas, "lo cual supone que la descentralización anunciada se convertiría en una causa de ruptura del vínculo familiar de nuestros agremiados"

A eso, sumaron que los hijos de los trabajadores de la dependencia cursan distintos niveles de educación escolar, "lo cual agrega al problema laboral un disturbio de manera social, si se llegan a truncar las carreras educativas de los hijos"

Desde la perspectiva del sindicato, dicha descentralización de la que no se han publicitado sus beneficios, "entraña una compleja problemática social, personal y familiar para los trabajadores de la dependencia"

Además, sostienen, la descentralización afectaría la dignidad de sus agremiados, quienes indiscutiblemente se sentirían como simples objetos susceptibles de un espacio físico a otro, trasladados arbitrariamente a un entorno social desconocido, sin haber respetado siquiera el respeto elemental a su libre decisión, sino de manera impuesta y, por lo tanto, de manera contraria a su voluntad, a sus derechos personales y laborales

"Si se mantiene el estado de desinformación que ha privado hasta el momento, las circunstancias relativas al proyecto pueden prestarse a la especulación y a todo tipo de conjeturas, que resultan perjudiciales para este tipo de reformas", consideraron

Como sindicato, se comprometieron a evitar en todo lo posible la afectación a sus derechos fundamentales, con la decisión del nuevo gobierno

Where is the best view of Boston's skyline, like on a Boston postcard? From one of the many bridges or an observation deck - and if so, which one? I'll tell you where

The first thing I do is take the red subway line to Charles/MGH and catch a glimpse of Boston's skyline from Longfellow Bridge.

The Longfellow Bridge crosses the Charles River and connects Boston with Cambridge.

The bridge is also called the "Salt-and-Pepper Bridge" because of the appearance of the pillars. For perfect Boston sightseeing it is important to take the footpath

on the left side, as the street cannot be crossed due to the central subway rails and the Boston skyline is on this side. So you can stroll to the other side of the

Longfellow Bridge and take a photo from time to time. There is a lot to see and there are often many boats on the Charles River when the weather is good.

In Cambridge you can get back to the subway at the Kendall station.

The Prudential Tower with the Skywalk Observatory or so-called "Skywalk Boston" is a classic and probably the best-known and highest observation deck in Boston.

Currently the entrance fee is $ 20 and you can visit the observation deck as often as you like throughout the day from 10 am to 10 pm, e.g. in the morning in daylight

and in the evening to admire the sparkling lights of Boston. $ 20 - that may seem expensive at first, but it's worth it and you'll definitely regret it if you do not

visit Skywalk Boston. It is a great experience and a multilingual audio guide, in the form of a telephone receiver with a neck strap, tells you at the push

of a button exactly what you can see from this very position. I love it here. Moreover you get to know Boston much better with nice anecdotes,

many historical information and a complete overview of almost everything that matter. In addition, the

On a beautiful terrace on the 14th floor with a green mini-roof garden, a bench and binoculars, there is an interesting view in the fresh air over Boston's

Waterfront and the harbor to Logan International Airport.

As I walk out of the building, I see that the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum is almost next door, and so I spend the end of my perfect day with a visit and exciting

And the great thing about an engineering degree is that it can take many different forms in

It's testing it.

So an engineering degree can take you many different places and expose you to a lot of

different things in your career.

Glen Chinn, Deputy Project Manager for Orion Production Operations: So, engineering to

me, is taking the sciences, technology, and turning that into practical, everyday use

to improve your life.

Melissa Jones, NASA Landing and Recovery Director: Engineering, to me, is identifying a problem

and working towards a solution.

Weiping Yu, Aerospace Technologist and Physicist: To me, engineering is application of scientific

knowledge to solve real-world problems.

I go to the root of the word.

Engineering is made up of two Latin words, which means "devise" and "cleverness."

And that's basically what it is.

Engineering is the tools that you learn in school, like math and science, and you use

– it's basically the science of solving problems.

It's the science of creating, the science of building, the science of taking challenges

that other people basically dream to take, and creating things for the future.

And leaving a mark, if we want to say that, for the future generations.

We engineer our way out of everything in life.

And I don't want to say our way, but anytime we have an issue – for example, we need

to build homes for people to live in, we need to figure out a way to get to another planet,

if we need to build a submarine that can take us miles and miles under the ocean floor – we

engineer things to help us solve those problems.

Crystal Jolly, Systems Engineer: Engineering, to me, is not what we do, but how we see the

world.

We take something from nothing and create a whole world with it.

We have created transportation, and aircraft, and rockets.

We've made buildings safer, we've made roadways safer, we've made bridges safer.

We've created weather satellites that predict hurricanes and tornadoes.

We've created safety measures for other people living in the world.

Everybody has been positively affected by engineering.

Insurance companies interest in handling cases is to resolve them for the least amount of

money that they can.

They would like to settle cases for less than one hundred percent of the value.

But they understand that if a case goes to trial there may be a range of a low verdict

result and a high verdict result.

But over a number of trials they're going to obtain a fair result.

So, insurance companies know that if you take a case to trial a jury is likely not going

to give a fair verdict close to a hundred percent compensation for the injury.

Trump Loses Again In Court As Judge Says Corruption Suit Can Go Forward - Duration: 3:26.

For Donald Trump, I imagine it's very difficult to have a good day.

When you're a human piece of crap, and you don't ever do anything good for anyone other

than yourself, yeah, it makes it really hard to have a positive news story written about

you, or for anybody to look at you and say, "That's the kind of guy I want to be when

I grow up."

The news from Donald Trump, in the past week and a half, just continues to get worse.

That same trend continued this week, when a federal judge ruled that the anti-corruption

lawsuit against Donald Trump can proceed.

See, right now, Donald Trump is currently being sued in federal court for alleged violations

of the emoluments clause, arguing that Donald Trump is still doing business with foreign

governments, while president of the United States.

Specifically, what's happening is that Trump, since he did not divest from his companies,

and he still gets the profits off of them, any time a foreign dignitary or foreign leader

comes over to the United States and spends money at a Trump owned property, he gets that

money.

Yes, by definition, due to these emoluments clauses in the constitution, that is illegal.

That is what he's being sued for.

Now, his lawyers, on several different occasions have attempted to have this trial either delayed

or completely thrown out.

This latest one, they were trying to delay it, kick the can down the road, and the judge

said, "Absolutely not.

We are moving forward."

Now, as if that's not bad enough for Donald Trump, what's even worse is that, in the course

of the discovery for this case ... Excuse me.

The discovery for this case is going to allow the prosecutors, the lawyers, the plaintiffs,

to get their hands on the Trump organization financial documents.

Documents that have been protected and out of the reach of the American public, and even

the court system, for far too long.

If they get their hands on these financials, and if they're able to show that Trump is

taking money from foreign government leaders through his businesses, that will create a

very real constitutional problem for Donald Trump.

It will also show that he absolutely lied to us, when he said that he is going to give

any profits made at Trump properties, by or at the hest of foreign dignitaries, he was

going to give that money all to charity, so he didn't have to worry about that.

Yeah, records show that these organizations did give some money to charity, but they have

no way of knowing if that amount equals the amount that foreign officials spent at Trump

properties.

That's what they're trying to find out.

That's what this case is all about.

I guarantee you, based on what we've seen from this man in the last 18 months, it's

highly unlikely that his companies actually gave away all of the money that foreign leaders

spent at his properties.

Maybe they did.

Maybe they didn't.

The only way to find out is for this lawsuit to continue, which this federal judge says

that it will.

Then, once those documents come out, once the lawyers get their hands on them, they

can finally see if Donald Trump is trying to do some dirty dealing, here, and continue

to profit off of the presidency.

The Crown has its new Prince Charles and the Queen Mother! The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Thursday that Queen Elizabeth's oldest son will be played in season three by 28-year-old Josh O'Connor, who also starred in the 2017 film God's Own Country

The Queen's mother will be played by Marion Bailey, 67, known for Allied. "I am thrilled to be joining The Firm for the next installment of The Crown," O'Connor told Variety

"Seasons 3 and 4 will follow some of the most turbulent events in the Prince of Wales' life and our national story, and I'm excited to be bringing to life the man in the midst of it all
