HIV is linked to the second-class status of women: Charlize Theron - Duration: 4:19.

HIV is linked to the second-class status of women: Charlize Theron

HIV is linked to the second-class status of women: Charlize Theron.

Celebs like Charlize Theron and Prince Harry lent their mega-wattage star power to calls for action at a major international AIDS conference.

Singer Elton John joined forces with Britain's Prince Harry to launch a $1.2-billion initiative on Tuesday to "break the cycle" of HIV transmission by targeting young men, among whom infections are on the rise.

On the second day of a major international AIDS conference in Amsterdam, the two lent their mega-wattage star power to calls for action to end the lingering stigma around the virus and protect generations to come.

"Young people are the only age group where HIV infections are rising, not falling," warned rock star and veteran AIDS campaigner Elton John as he announced the launch of the MenStar Coalition.

"We have to do much, much more to bring men, especially younger men more fully into the fold," he insisted.

The coalition brings together different partners, including the UN's Unitaid and the US fund PEPFAR, as John warned that 24- to 35-year-old men were accessing HIV testing and treatment at "unacceptably low rates".

Much work has been done to protect women and girls but "we can't solve the whole problem if we are only addressing half the situation," John said.

"If we want to win this fight, if we want to end AIDS once and for all, we must make men part of the solution" and teach them to protect themselves, "not only their wives and girlfriends, their sisters, and daughters, but also critically their brothers and their sons." 'DANGEROUS COMPLACENCY' Some 15,000 delegates - researchers, campaigners, activists and people living with the HIV virus which causes AIDS - have gathered for the five-day war council, amid dire warnings the AIDS epidemic could yet spiral out of control.

"The progress we have fought so hard for is at risk from a dangerous complacency," Prince Harry told conference delegates.

"Too many around the world are still ignoring the damaging knock-on effects on education and other community services for not prioritising HIV prevention and treatment."   The new initiative was focused on "the tough but essential work of truly changing mindsets," the Duke of Sussex said.

"Inspired by the growing alarm of the rate of new HIV infections among young women, this campaign is bravely tackling the root of this problem - the lack of awareness of HIV prevention amongst hard-to-reach young men." He urged people to unite around the "smashing of a deadly stigma" surrounding HIV, "and calling out the prejudice that is still there".

Actress Charlize Theron agreed as she addressed the day's opening plenary session entitled: "Breaking the barriers of inequity".

"We have come a long way as a global community from that moral panic that defined early stages of this epidemic," she told the audience.

But she warned that "most of us now know and understand that HIV is not just about sex or sexuality.

We know it is linked to the second-class status of women and girls worldwide.".

How To Diet Without Counting Calories - Autoregulation of Diet and Nutrition - Duration: 6:23.

I have been asked a lot of times How To Diet Without Counting Calories?

What if you want to lose fat without tracking calories?

It's the opportunity to talk about Autoregulation of Diet and Nutrition.

Welcome to my channel. I am the lifting dermatologist, a Belgian doctor with 28 years of weight lifting

experience. If this is your first time here,

and you want me to help and motivate you losing fat, building more muscle and an aesthetic

physique, next to tips and tricks on dermatology and skin care,

start now by subscribing and clicking the bell,

so you don't miss anything.

The term "auto-regulation" means simply the continual automatic adjustment or self-regulation

of a system. In other words, checking yourself for feedback and making adjustments based

on results and process.

You've heard the term autoregulation used when talking about training. You go hard when

you're firing on all cylinders and you pull back when something isn't quite right.

In the same way, you can also learn to autoregulate your diet.

Since I am such a big believer and advocate of the Flexible way of Dieting anyway, it

gets easy to understand how this autoregulation mechanism can be fitted right in that system.

In the end everything about weight loss (or gain) comes down to energy or calories in

versus out. And since our physiological variable system

that we call 'our body' isn't a 100% correctly measurable entity anyway, the amount

of calories we eat (and burn) does not have to be (and can not be) calculated exactly

to the digit, right? And it does not need to be exactly the same everyday neither, right?

Sometimes, like when I'm on holiday right now, and I eat out all the time, it gets very

difficult to calculate or even estimate the amount of calories and macronutrients. But

that doesn't really matter a lot, when you go by feel.

Some people just do get tired of calorie tracking after a certain period. I can relate, I have

done it consistently now over 3 years. Other people certainly don't want to do

calorie counting eating out or while on holiday. That's when autoregulation comes into play

and gets very useful.

But first, are you able to autoregulate? Until recently I was not, now I feel I finally am.

If you have to count every calorie and every macronutrient every damn day, then you can't.

Not yet at least. Your diet has you in a headlock. And, on the other hand, if you're always alternating

periods of micromanagement and gluttonous binging then you have a problem as well.

So How Do You Autoregulate? First of all, you need to understand that

autoregulation does not mean that you'll be eating randomly; quite to the contrary,

you will be eating with more intention and purpose than ever before. Beginning with a

sound nutritional strategy in place, you'll perform checks throughout the day and engage

in a lot of introspection while still doing what you know you need to do. You'll still

hit your macros, you'll still pay attention to the quality of your food, but you'll

throw the plan out the window if it doesn't correlate with what your body is telling you.

Some guidelines: (1) Ditch all the cheat meals. Junk foods

override your ability to autoregulate your eating. Most pre-packaged foods are purposefully

made to trigger overeating without causing you to feel full.

You need a long period of cold turkey. You literally need to go through withdrawal to

rewire your brain and short-circuit the cravings. They will fade and disappear, putting you

back in control. (2) Take sleep as seriously as you do training.

The problem with bad sleep is that it alters your hunger-regulating hormones, like leptin

and ghrelin. When these hormones are screwed up, you're wracked with cravings and basically

your body is sending you false "feed me" signals. (3) Take care of your gut health. When the

bad bacteria in your gut dominate the good bacteria, you get hit with junk food cravings.

It's literally like a drug addiction.

When you autoregulate, you go by feel. For example 2 days ago, I'm sure I took in way

too many calories in the breakfast buffet in the hotel, around the noon I only had a

little snack, but in the evening, my dinner was way too big again.

Then, yesterday morning, I was at the breakfast buffet again, and I could hardly eat anything.

I was still feeling full from the day before that. So I only ate a small portion of oatmeal

porridge, what got me through the whole day, till I had a normal dinner in the evening.

That way, I autoregulated my intake on day 2 by eating under maintenance, probably the

amount of calories that I overate on day 1, and that plays out evenly after 2 days of

eating out all the time.

Remember, an auto-regulated eater doesn't have to diet. His body is free to signal when

he needs to eat more or less. These signals are no longer blunted or altered by biochemical

misfires due to junk food. Sure, one will need to get out the food log

and get super strict if one decides to do a physique competition, but generally most

peoples "walking around weight" is healthy and looks good.

You can call this "instinctive eating" but that only applies if your natural instincts

haven't been hijacked.

You can use autoregulation only while you are on holiday, but you can stick to this

way of less stressful eating once you're back home as well. Of course, you will have

to track your progress in the gym, your daily or weekly weight on the scale and estimate

your leanness in the mirror to see if everything remains in check our tends to go the good

or bad direction, in order to make corrections or get more strict again

if you feel it's necessary.

This was episode 21 of my How to Lose Fat series. Click on this card to check out the

other episodes in this playlist.

Thank you for watching, leave a thumbs up, and put your questions under this video.

And… Good luck with autoregulating your diet!

On Couples, Family & Children - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato - Duration: 22:01.

On Couples, Family & Children - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato So we got a question on one of your video blogs about soulmates

I believe the title was do soulmates exist and someone asked the question she said

what still puzzles me is how to raise children as a couple when you already

are in this unprojected way of being lovers if you are ready for a new

experience to evolve and move along how can you hope save space for children

On Couples, Family & Children - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato A very interesting question there are different elements in this question

so can you tell me the first part of the question yeah so the first part we still

puzzles me is how to raise children as a couple when you are already are in this

unprojected way of deep okay let's stop the unprojected way yes a being now okay

so we are not projecting which means we are authentic because if we are

projecting we are creating an illusion that eventually is going to create drama

and certainly the children will not benefit from that I mean they will

benefit because they will learn what they don't want so the benefit is in

whatever direction you take is we will be there and by the way your children

are perfectly equipped to face all the challenges but the parents are exposing

to them because that's why they chose those two parents so

back to the projecting if if I if I love you and I project the fantasy on you an

ideal realistic idea of love with you it means I'm not seeing you and you are not

seeing me so basically we are sharing with the children a lie not not a

malicious lie but still it's an illusion and then they will have

to find out themselves why is an illusion while if you step into a love

that doesn't have a projection it means that you love enough yourself that you

drop all the needs for any kind of projection you just are able to be

completely open and vulnerable and naked in front of your lover then you are you

are the personification of love and that's the most beautiful way you can

have children and share your your time with them so this is the first part the

second part what was the question if you are ready for a new experience to evolve

and move along how can you hold safe space for children

On Couples, Family & Children - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato How can you? Hold safe space with children? Okay the more you go towards a

higher level of evolution the more by default you will be safe because safety

come from unconsciousness they need of being safe from someone comes from fear

so actually it is more danger to grow children when you are in fear

that when you are fully embracing love and the evolution whether you want it or

not will be there so basically you're you are by being fully who you are you

are being an example because your children look at you as for the first

few years of their life they look at you as a as you say point of referrals

right so let's say that a child it's running and the mother is they are

looking at this child and the child is running and all the sudden fall on the

ground before he decide but there was bad or good the first thing he does is

looks at her mother or her father right and then based on what the reaction of

their father mother he will step either into drama

or not so if the mother said oh my god what happened to do it he will

immediately link and tap it tune in to that and then he will start to cry and

feel sorry for himself and how bad it is and it will start to maybe even create

some some blockages about running and then he will not run anymore freely as

it was a few seconds ago or maybe he fall in the grass or in the ground and

and then look at the mother mother a mother has smiles there okay nice

On Couples, Family & Children - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato okay let's try again and then he will adjust his experience based on that so

this is to say that if the mother and the father are in a state of full

self-empowerment and sovereignty and love every time the child look at them

as a point of referral they see love self empowerment and sovereignty so most

of our of parents are caught up with the idea they have to give up their dreams

they have to get give up their personal happiness and their personal desires and

joy because they have children I would say quite the opposite now more than

ever since you do have children now you really have to follow your joy you

really have to follow your dream because your children are constantly looking at

you and referring at looking at you and you are a magnet of what is what is true

for them and so if you exude this self-sacrificing and contractive taking

care of them you give a much less vibrant message then being as happy as

possible and as joyful as possible yourself in your own life because after

all the children that's what we they really want they want a pair of really

really happy joyful fun and vibrant creative parents they don't want

these parents that work hard to sacrifice for them and and make

everything so grey they want they want their parent to be happy they don't

really care about anything else

On Couples, Family & Children - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato How would you say then if one parents choose to go a separate way so the

mother and the father of the child are going separate ways? What does it mean

the separate ways? So they don't live together in one house and one is living

on the other side of the planet for example extreme example but

sometimes that happens what is that

so would you also say if that is the choice of the parents because that makes

them happy is that the best for the children? In the long run yes yeah there

might be a some adjustment time but in the longer run your child will respect

you and will admire you for you because you stand it for what was for you

happiness and that's the most beautiful lesson you can give to a child or to

anybody but it is very rare that this extreme situation most of the time

I understand what you are talking about you're talking about separating not

being anymore a couple what that doesn't have anything to do with parenting if

two person are high conscious they can still be wonderful parents and still

love each other even if they don't have they don't share the same bed at night I

don't see any problem with that being together in interaction that is sexual

or is so-called relationship is not a forever contract is a contract that

lasts for as long as grow keep coming, once you don't grow anymore then

you should change the format and that doesn't mean that you don't love each

other anymore you just keep loving each other it's just is a different is now

more in line with your new vibrational offer that you gained by being with this

individual so everything works out fine there is no need to the children

wouldn't be stressed they are what more stressed when the two parents they are

stubborn in keeping being together and fighting all the time or pretending that

everything is good and they don't fight but the child is not stupid will feel

that so that's actually much more embarrassing for the child you know

On Couples, Family & Children - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato Sometimes they saw or their been researchers even that children are have

a very traumatic experience when they the parents divorce. And why's

that I have no idea why it happened but I guess that's mostly for the most

children have some kind of impact. Because it is projected with the ideal

divorce is projected the ideal separation that's why it's dramatic but

why to make such an association divorce doesn't mean separation it means just a

change in in communion. I wonder if the children know that. That's the job of the parents we are just changing the

structure but love is between us is still there we all are still together

we're just making adjustment as we grow things changes and so the child will

understand that it is okay to make changes it will not project a fear and

contraction on the idea of changing because that's where their abandonment

come from once we understand there is nothing to fear from changing there is

no need to be abandoned it's just change everything is constantly changed nothing

stay the same life is constantly the vortex is a creative spiral so in others

they say this too the same try trying to stay in a sameness environment is very

unhealthy the child yes will feel safe will feel this comfort zone but it

will be dead it will be not a vibrantly alive child and it will not be a

vibrant alive adult it will address and walk through his journey by constantly

trying to stay in the comfort zone and isn't that what most of the people do

On Couples, Family & Children - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato many people do constantly afraid of changing because we have this idea that

changing is bad is is we associate the idea of changing with death I don't see

anything wrong with that we have to do to die in order to live again

you know the cycle of life of birth and death birth and death keep going we

don't die we just change so the divorce is so dramatic because is projected and

associated to the idea of separation but if the two parents are lovers

meaning they love themselves so they are not into the separative contractive

situation that brings to drama and fighting and all that they just change

the dance but it's still dancing and it's actually more now is even more

beautiful more interesting now look now we're changing the dance and the child

will say oh nice because the child by default is a creative being so it loves

to new expression of creativity will always

welcome creativity so when we divorce this word divorce is so heavy so dense

filled with so much negativity divorce should be a celebration it means that we

we graduated we pass the intent that life synchronicity

arranged for us is fulfilled so we are now shifting into a different setup

because now our vibrational offer has changed

On Couples, Family & Children - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato we expanded our field of possibilities so now there's many more possibility

available to us and so we should all celebrate and so the child in the couple

should celebrate celebrate together divorce that's another way of looking at

it yeah this is an healthy way to look a what is the other what is okay mostly

people would create a lot of drama around before it's right because one or

the other is is hurt because she or he left and you know all the year comes up

with pain and all the things that have happened in the relationship yeah

you know there's a lot of things that yeah and that is an indication that we

are not lovers meaning we don't love ourself enough so we are projecting as

the question at the beginning we are projecting an ideal an idealization of

what love should be which is not vibrant because it comes from neediness and and

therefore we have to face all these

discombobulating phases of falling apart because we see the glass half empty

rather than half full so we just have to eventually we will get to a point where

we shift our perception in in a way that we allow changes to come

and we actually welcome changes to come we don't fear them we don't feel any

sort of abandonment and it's sort of abandonment from what life is love that is

only love and so you're always in a state of love you're always supported by

life the only reason why you are not supportive

of life because you decide so so children will benefit from two vibrantly alive

joyful self-loving parents much more than by two parents that are sacrificing

their life for their children and they are creating these the survival

mechanisms this safety comfort zone because there is separation and so there

is something that we need to protect you from and the children of course will

accept that as true and then they will have to spend the rest of their life to

figure out stuff and to deprogram that and to finally get free out of that yeah

so that's why in many ways most of the biggest challenges start

from family it's a traumatic environment because it's not conceived from real

love is conceived for a conditional love and therefore this is filled with lies

deceptions and lack of transparency lack of integrity

and lack of honesty but it's nothing wrong because if it's an experience and

help us is a big teaching it's another important valuable experience I'm not

saying that we shouldn't commune into the idea of family of course we should

however as we do that more and more and more we will start to figure out that

On Couples, Family & Children - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato family become a beautiful experience when we start to love ourselves more the

more we will love ourselves the more healthy we'll be family and then changes

inevitable because changes are inevitable will be welcomed and

celebrated

Balancing Action and Emotion in 'Mission: Impossible - Fallout' - Duration: 1:45.

- What the hell is he doing?

- I find it best not to look.

- We actually got to see Benji have a fist fight

- Yeah. - this time.

So when you read that on the script,

that you gotta fight Lane, like how do you prep for that?

- Training, I mean, you know,

we went into the stunt room at Leavesden

and trained with our amazing stunt crew.

Wade Eastwood and his guys, who we've worked with before.

It always makes me laugh when I watch the movie

'cause I know Wade's crew,

so when you seen goons,

like in the scene with Vanessa Kirby

when all those guys come into attack,

I know all those guys, you know,

that's like Adrianne, and you know,

but their also accomplished and they'll teach us how to,

you know, sell punches and do stuff fast.

Shawn has a particular fight style.

I have a particular fight style.

You know, he's very clinical,

I'm very reckless and sort of just

windmillin' it kinda thing, you know.

It was fun, really good fun.

Because I feel like Benji, everytime we see him

he's moved on a little bit, you know,

he's been through more and he's still the same guy.

He's still the audiences way into this insane world.

You know, he's still very much

our way of kind of relating to it.

You know, 'cause he's the guy who says "What?"

all the time, you know,

but he's definitely more capable than he was before.

He's better at his job.

I seem to remember talking with JJ on three

that it'd be funny if Benji came back.

Of course JJ and I got on straight away,

and that's four and a half...

because my career just demonstrates, you know?

I've either got some dirt on him, or he likes me.

I won't say which, but yeah,

when he emailed me to say about Ghost Protocol

he literally just sort of said,

"How would you feel about Benji being an agent?"

And I was, of course, interested.

So, and here we are, you know?

12 years later and yeah it's incredible.

I believe that if you get on board with a film,

you have to trust the director, you know,

and the best way to enjoy a film

is to have a director you trust.

And with Chris, I trust him implicitly.

So, in terms of story, I leave that all to him,

as, you know, any actor that walks into a set

and thinks, "I got this," is wrong.

McQuarrie is master storyteller.

He's brilliant with structure.

He's brilliant with, you know,

figuring stuff out in his head.

And so small things, little turns of phrase maybe with Benji

or stuff to play with on the day

but everything thats over-reaching

and effects the film as a whole,

I kinda trust that with McQuarrie.

And I believe that is collaboration of sorts, you know?

- [Phil] Sure. - It's kinda of having faith

in the person that's steering the ship.

Our beauty routine - Duration: 6:20.

We wanted to tell you all about our minimalist beauty routine.

We both had different experiences

with this, I used to be a cosmetician

and I had such an intense routine with so many products

but I was able to reduce it all to the minimum essentials.

So your detox phase was...

a bit longer yep!

It was always a bit simple for me.

I never did get used to the three steps

to clean your face.

The cleaner...the toner?

tonic. Yes the tonic.

and then the face cream, I don't know it was just too much.

So for me, it always had to be super simple.

It still is today, but it's even more basic now.

So here are the items we like to use either in the morning, or at night.

So I always start off my day with this tongue cleaner.

It's an Ayurveda method that will help cleanse your mouth of all bacteria and toxins

it also freshens your breath. I really like it!

You do this in the morning?

Yes every morning! First thing you do when you wake up.

When I get up in the morning, I go to the bathroom and splash some

water on my face and then what I'll do is add a few drips.. I mean drops!

of jojoba oil, it's super easy to use with the dropper here

I'll just add it with the water and it cleanses your skin quite effectively but also softly.

Then what I do is use and Hydrolat,

sometimes it's from an Orange tree, this one is the Rose d'Amas.

All I do is spray some onto my face

It's very refreshing. It smells wonderful.

And it's really good for skins, roses are great to help when the skin

tend to do a bit of Rosacea

or that are simply a bit more fragile.

Yes exactly, it's great for sensitive skins. The rose in it is very soothing.

And then I finish with my face cream.

we've put together a DIY, it'll be coming next week ;)

you'll be able to make your very own cream at home.

So that's the morning.

Also, we mentioned this in our other bathroom video

Dry brushing! We really love this as well.

You do it either before or after the shower.

So you just brush your skin like this to activate the circulation in your body.

It exfoliates your skin

It's a great way to wake-up.. Yes absolutely it's really great

The feeling is awesome,

you don't need an elaborate exfoliant or anything

this brush is truly great and does a good job.

This one is from Avril.

It's plant based, so there are no animal bristles here

And the handle slips off easily.

So either you use it in your hand, and you brush

Or you add the handle to brush your back.

This is a great tool!

Especially for cellulite or heavy legs syndrome.

Very true!

Also don't forget to lather on a bit of body butter to keep hydrated.

This is another recipe of ours that is very easy to make, we've talked about it in another video before. It's a great moisturizer.

then..

Well actually if you don't have any body butter on hand, you can always use sesame oil

That's what I use and it works well, it penetrates the skin deeply.

It's just as good!

But make sure you choose the "non-roasted" version of sesame oil.

Because nobody wants to smell like a stir-fry!

We've also got these, which you can see have been used greatly.

Facecloths, from the company Colibri. They're made of organic cotton, and are extra soft! We love them.

Great to remove your make-up at night, or to wash my face in the morning with the jojoba oil.

There's no need for a disposable wipe or anything, they work wonders.

And it's the same thing for these little knitted pads, made by Mae Organic

The trick to keep them clean is to rub them on a bit of marseille soap when you're done.

Or which ever kind of soap really. Hand soap, yup just rub it on,

and then throw it in the wash to clean them. They will stay clean this way.

You can also always just let them soak in Sodium Percarbonate to whiten them.

So yeah, we don't have anything that is disposable in the bathroom.

Because honestly, it's not necessary, and it's an easy switch.

And there's always the refillable option, like this face cream that we make.

or the Hydrolat, there are many places where we can buy it in bulk.

Also this little guy, the Oriculi, whom we haven't talked about yet!

It's a great q-tip alternative.

So little personal note: my boyfriend was a real addict. To Q-tips.

So it was a bit of a challenge, but now he loves it.

So this actually removes the wax, but it won't push it all the way into your canal.

This one is made of Stainless steel, so it's very durable.

But they're also made in wood, available in different stores.

So this is a great alternative to Q-tips.

And it is easily washable?

I'll sometimes just use a small piece of toilet paper to wipe it down.

So that's all, this is everything we have on our morning beauty routine.

It got simpler as the time went on as well.

It's all basic things. And this means

that our bathroom is not overcrowded with products and things.

There aren't many products for many steps, it's basic products that are sustainable.

They're also all multi-purpose and multi-people in a way. We much rather have items and products that work for everyone

Instead of crowding the countertops with a gazillon bottles.

We also have only natural products, free of toxins or chemicals. It's super important for us, and for the planet.

Because as we've said before, it only takes 7 seconds for a cream to reach your bloodstream.

Be more aware of what you put on your skin.

We hope to have answered all your questions on the morning routine!

Hope it gave you a few tricks to start doing as well.

These were our favourite products, and if you have any questions, send them to us!

If you have any products that you use, that we haven't mentioned please share them!

Thanks!

Lululemon Robbery Video Shows Legging Theft: WATCH | Heavy.com - Duration: 5:54.

Lululemon Robbery Video Shows Legging Theft: WATCH | Heavy.com

A crew of Lululemon thieves has struck multiple times in the Bay area, making off with thousands of dollars in high-end yoga pants.

Some of it's captured on surveillance video – which you can watch below – showing a Lululemon robbery at a Fresno, California store.

The video was released by the police in the Bay Area after a rash of Lululemon robberies.

As anyone who has shopped at Lululemon knows, the yoga pants do not come cheap.

Indeed, they can cost about $100 for a pair.

Watch the surveillance video for one heist below.

It shows the female thieves packing their bags with Lululemon merchandise at warp speed before fleeing the store in Fresno, California.

You can also view a portion of the video on the Fresno Police Department's Facebook page, where it was originally posted, here.

The three robbers appear to be wearing leggings as they walk into the store carrying bags within which to cram more of them.

"They walk into the store, a group of two or three come in with bags and they start filling those bags with items," Officer Byron White of the Berkeley Police Department told ABC7.

Here's what you need to know:.

Police Say 13 Lululemon Stores Were Robbed in the Bay Area.

It's not just a single robbery, either.

There have been 13 robberies of Lululemon stores in the Bay Area in 12 days, ABC7 reported on July 24, 2018.

The television station reported that the thieves have stolen $50,000 in merchandise over the course of those heists.

According to ABC7, Lululemon thieves have also struck in Berkeley, Gilroy, Walnut Creek, San Jose, San Mateo, and Stanford.

The video in question is from Fresno, though.

The Fresno Bee reported that authorities think the women may be part of a "statewide crew responsible for about $145,000 in thefts from the chain.

The Bee cited the brazen nature of the robberies, in which the thieves storm in and grab items before anyone has time to react.

The Group Made Off With $17,000 in Clothing During the Fresno Heist.

The Fresno Police Department says the videotaped robbery occurred on July 22, 2018 at 3 p.m.

The suspects entered a business in the area of W.

Shaw and N. Palm Ave.

and stole over $17,000 worth of clothing, according to Fresno police.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported that the unidentified women took 148 pairs of leggings.

People filled the police Facebook comment thread with sarcastic comments and jokes.

"The fact that it's $17,000 shocks me more than the robbery," wrote one woman.

"I miss the days when robbers used to wear mask and yells, 'everybody get down and nobody gets hurt!!!!' Now they just walk right in and just another day," wrote a man.

Yoga instructor Christine Brown was in the Fresno store when the robbery occurred.

It was a very serious matter for those who were there.

"For me, I was just shocked, and I froze," said Brown to ABC 13.

"I didn't know what to do.

I didn't know if there was anything I could do.".

She added, "We were all in a daze.

The manager was just trying to keep everything calm, saying it's okay, it's okay." According to the television station, police believe it was smart of the customers and employees to let the robbers go.

Ep 3- Magic Happens With Data - Duration: 1:23.

Hello!

What are you working on?

I am processing our client's data, so we can complete our statement processing orders.

So you organize the data the customer gives you like names, products, addresses, locations,

phone numbers, identification codes and anything else the customer would like to include in

personalized statements and letters to the end receiver...correct?

Exactly!

We also enhance the data with info needed to communicate with the smart inserters.

The enhanced data is referred to as a Mail Run Data File known as MRDF.

It's a 2-D barcode created for each individual letter and contains info that tells the inserter

which job the piece goes with, the record number and how many pages each record has.

So, the data is then used to print the pieces on a four color inkjet Press that specializes

in high-speed duplex variable data printing.

Yep... that's where you'll go next.

But I don't like that

But there's the festival

He has also a nice bike

They have that every year

I think it's a motor bike

Hey here we are again

Today we're not at our bike but we're walking

And next week we will be with the scooter or inline skates

That's not a good idea to Belgium

We're walking to No Fear

He's already driving over there..

It's a long walk

What are you eating?

He made it!

We're at the mainstage

And we go to do an update

Listen

The weather is not so hot anymore

Because we couldn't anymore

Now it's nice

It was very warm

but so nice

And we've been to very much different acts

Frenchcore

Extreme hardcore

Everywhere

Now the sound is much better

Now the sound is better than this afternoon

But it depends on the place where you stand

I don't know but

Temprature is better and

the music says everything

And now we go for it

A small closing of Dominator

Fant4stik was the best act of the day I think

it was so nice to start the day with their set

And I think their music is so nice

I think that Imara think exact the same

And the atmosphere was so good

Then we went to the mainstage

the MainStage was looking also very nice

It was 30 meters high

Very much led screens included

and it was looking very nice

Bodyshock had to play

I think his set was a little bit quit in the opposite of the other artist on the mainstage

Then was D-Fence live

always cool

Then Partyraiser with Bulletproof

We heard them at BKJN

a similar and good set

Very much known tracks

Paul Elstak was also very nice

Then it was Peacock his turn

I like his new track ''The World Of The Dream'' with Sefa

There were so much good DJ's at the mainstage

We stood the most of the time over there and at the Uptempo

At Spitnoise his set it was such a chaos

Unfortunately there wasn't firework at the mainstage

I like Dominators endshow the most

Why businesses should start including videos in their content strategy? - Duration: 2:39.

Hey guys, my name is Nikhil and I am from Hippo Video.

Today I'll tell you guys why should start using videos as a part of your content strategy.

Plus there a secret pee tape involved. But I'll get to that later.

So what does the content landscape look like today?

According to Wordpress about 3 million posts are published everyday.

That means, by the time we are done with this video, 3000 posts will be published.

So that means your content is sure to get lost in the mix.

So now that you know this why have marketers been focusing on textual content?

It's because it helps in SEO and big G loves content. It helps generate a lot of inbound traffic.

So now that businesses have a content generating machine, why should they switch to videos?

what's the fuss all about?

So why should you modify your content creation process. If it ain't broke, why fix it, right?

The answer to all these questions: Videos trumps text everytime.

Now imagine reading this

Now check this video instead

So why did that video work, guys?

It's because videos engage. Google and Facebook realized this early.

And they've been promoting videos heavily on their platform.

So, what about SEO? Research shows that videos increase organic traffic by more than 150%.

So, should brands promote through videos?

Yes.

When brands start promoting through videos

They actually increase recall

In random experiments, it was observed that

95% of a video message was recalled correctly compared to only 10% by text.

Now why was that?

That's because videos are a visual medium.

Being a visual medium, videos increase retention.

So marketers out there, start creating videos. Get to videos early before your competitors do.

If you want to know more about why videos are important, subscribe to our channel.

And don't forget to like the video, guys. Thanks for watching.

I'M THIS WAY BECAUSE AND I'M THIS WAY BECAUSE AND I'M THIS

WAY BECAUSE--AND YOU KNOW WHAT?

THE LORD FINALLY PUT ON MY HEART, "THAT'S TRUE.

THAT'S TRUE.

THAT'S WHY YOU ARE THE WAY YOU ARE BUT DON'T LET IT BECOME

AN EXCUSE TO STAY THAT WAY."

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: THAT'S SUCH A GOOD POINT.

YOU ARE WHERE YOU ARE.

NO MATTER WHO CAUSED YOU TO BE HERE, YOU ARE STUCK WITH YOU

AND YOUR LIFE.

AND NOBODY ELSE--NOW GOD WILL HELP YOU BUT NOBODY ELSE--LET'S

PUT IT LIKE THIS.

A LOT OF PEOPLE MAY WANNA HELP YOU BUT YOU CAN'T DEPEND ON

SOMEBODY ELSE COMING ALONG AND FIXING YOUR MESS.

AND EVEN PEOPLE WHO WANNA COME ALONG AND HELP FIX IT, THEY

DON'T WANT THE FULL JOB.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: THEY WANT OTHER PEOPLE TO DO SOMETHING FOR THEM.

I'M GONNA TELL YOU A QUICK LITTLE STORY.

I DIDN'T REALLY PLAN TO DO THIS BUT I ONLY HAD ONE SIBLING.

HE'S NOT ALIVE ANYMORE.

HE WAS NINE YEARS YOUNGER THAN ME.

AND WE BOTH WERE ABUSED IN DIFFERENT WAYS.

HE WASN'T ABUSED SEXUALLY BUT HE WAS DEFINITELY--GREW UP IN

A HOME WHERE THE FATHER WAS UNPRESENT AND WHATEVER HE DID

TEACH HIM, EVERYTHING HE TAUGHT HIM WAS WRONG.

HE WENT INTO THE VIETNAM WAR WHEN HE WAS 17 AND ENDED UP IN

THE JUNGLES IN VIETNAM AND HIS SERGEANT GAVE THE GUYS DRUGS

OVER THERE JUST TO KEEP THEM, I GUESS, WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS SANE.

ANYWAY, MY BROTHER, AT THE AGE OF 17, GOT ADDICTED TO DRUGS.

AND IT WAS A LIFELONG PROBLEM FOR HIM: ALCOHOL,

PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.

BUT THE BIGGEST THING THAT I ALWAYS SAW ABOUT MY BROTHER

WAS THAT HE WOULD NEVER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING.

HE GOT MARRIED, HE HAD A CHILD, HE NEVER SUPPORTED THE CHILD.

WHEN THEY CAME AFTER HIM FOR CHILD SUPPORT, HE WOULD WORK FOR

PEOPLE FOR CASH SO THE GOVERNMENT COULDN'T FIND THAT HE

WAS WORKING AND TAKE HIS CHECK.

WE'D GET HIM IN TREATMENT PROGRAM AFTER TREATMENT PROGRAM

AND, JUST WHEN HE'D START TO GET A LITTLE BETTER AND THEY WOULD

START TO GIVE HIM A LITTLE, LISTEN TO THE WORD,

RESPONSIBILITY, THEN HE'D DECIDE THAT, "WELL, YOU KNOW, SIS,

THIS IS JUST NOT FOR ME.

THIS IS NOT ME."

SO HE LIVED WITH US FOR FOUR YEARS

AND WE TRIED TO TAKE CARE OF HIM AND HELPED HIM AND IF I SAID,

"DAVID, GET UP AND GO TO WORK," HE'D GET UP AND GO TO

WORK.

IF I SAID, "DAVID, DID YOU DO THIS," AND HE HADN'T DONE IT,

HE'D GO DO IT.

BUT IF SOMEBODY DIDN'T TELL HIM EVERYTHING TO DO, THEN HE JUST

DIDN'T DO ANYTHING.

SO I MARVEL THAT THE TWO OF US GREW UP IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD

WITH THE SAME TYPES OF PROBLEMS AND VERY SAD TO SAY THAT I GUESS

ABOUT EIGHT YEARS AGO, HE ENDED UP COMMITTING SUICIDE AND I'M,

AT THE AGE OF 75, STILL PREACHING THE GOSPEL ALL OVER

THE WORLD.

NOW--

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: I'M NOT SAYING SOMETHING BAD ABOUT HIM AND

SOMETHING GOOD ABOUT ME, BUT I HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT WE BOTH

HAD THE SAME OPPORTUNITY.

OTHERWISE, GOD IS SO GROSSLY UNFAIR, I MEAN, IF HE JUST SAYS,

"WELL, OKAY, YOU CAN MAKE IT BUT YOU'RE NEVER GONNA GET OUT OF

BONDAGE, AND OH, THERE, OKAY, YOU CAN MAKE IT BUT, NO, YOU'RE

GONNA STAY IN BONDAGE ALL YOUR LIFE."

THE PROMISES OF GOD ARE FOR WHOSOEVER WILL--WHOSOEVER WILL

DO WHAT GOD TELLS THEM TO DO CAN HAVE WHAT GOD SAYS THEY

CAN HAVE.

GONNA SAY IT AGAIN.

WHOSOEVER DOES WHAT GOD TELLS THEM TO DO CAN HAVE WHATSOEVER

GOD SAYS THEY CAN HAVE.

ARE YOU GETTING IT?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I WANT YOU, WHEN THIS CONFERENCE IS OVER, TO GO HOME

AND HAVE A LONG MEETING WITH YOURSELF.

WE'RE ALWAYS HAVING MEETINGS BUT THE PERSON YOU NEED TO MEET

WITH THE MOST SOMETIMES IS YOU.

SO IF YOU'VE BEEN RUNNING PAST YOURSELF FOR

SO LONG, AVOIDING YOURSELF AND AVOIDING FACING SOME TRUTHS,

THAT YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE YOU'RE AT ANYMORE, YOU NEED TO

SLOW DOWN, GET DOWN WITH YOURSELF, AND SAY, "OKAY, WHAT

AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE?" WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE?

WHERE AM I HEADED?

WITH WHAT I'M DOING RIGHT NOW WHERE AM I LIKELY TO END UP

IN FIVE YEARS OR TEN YEARS?

DO I REALLY WANNA END UP IN THE DIRECTION THAT I'M HEADED IN

OR DO I WANNA MAKE SOME CHANGES NOW?

C'MON, SAY, "NOW."

DO I WANNA MAKE SOME CHANGES NOW?

YOU KNOW WHAT THE MOST DANGEROUS WORD IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS?

TOMORROW.

YOU KNOW, WHEN PHARAOH'S HOUSE WAS FULL OF FROGS, FROGS

IN THE BED, FROGS IN THE OVEN, FROGS EVERYWHERE, IF THEY HAD

A DRIVEWAY THERE WERE FROGS IN THE DRIVEWAY.

WHEN THEY PULLED THE CHARIOT OUT, IT WAS CRUNCH, CRUNCH,

CRUNCH.

FROGS, FROGS.

IMAGINE HAVING FROGS IN YOUR BED.

EVERYWHERE, YOU COULDN'T WALK WITHOUT STEPPING ON A FROG.

AND MOSES SAID, "TELL ME WHEN YOU WANT ME TO PRAY FOR THESE TO

GO AWAY AND I WILL PRAY AND THEY WILL GO AWAY."

AND PHARAOH OBVIOUSLY WAS MISSING SOMETHING ON TOP BECAUSE

HE SAID, "TOMORROW."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: NOW, WHAT KIND OF DUMB DO YOU HAVE TO BE IF--

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: IF YOU COULD NOT SLEEP WITH FROGS TONIGHT AND YOU CAN

JUST TAKE THAT WHEREVER YOU WANT TO.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: YOU KNOW, C'MON, LADIES, LET ME JUST TAKE

A CHANCE ON MAKING YOU MAD.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: SOME OF YOU MAY BE LIVING WITH SOMEBODY THAT IS

FROG, FROG, DOUBLE-FROG.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AND THEY DON'T LOVE YOU.

THEY'RE USING YOU AND YOU ARE SO PETRIFIED OF NEVER HAVING

ANYBODY THAT YOU'RE STICKING WITH SOMETHING DUMB.

C'MON, GET RID OF THE FROG TODAY.

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: SO NOW IS THE TIME FOR CHANGE IN SOME OF YOUR LIVES.

I BELIEVE IT.

I COULD EASILY STAND HERE AND SAY, "THUS SAITH THE LORD:

NOW IS THE TIME FOR CHANGE."

I BELIEVE THAT THERE IS AN ANOINTING HERE TODAY FOR

PEOPLE TO MAKE DECISIONS.

THERE'S A GRACE HERE FOR GOD TO HELP YOU STICK WITH THOSE

DECISIONS BUT IT'S TIME TO START DOING THE THINGS THAT YOU

BELIEVE THAT GOD HAS TOLD YOU TO DO OR STOP DOING THE THINGS

HE HAS TOLD YOU TO STOP DOING.

IT'S TIME TO GET YOUR LIFE HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION,

AMEN.

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: HERE'S A SCRIPTURE THAT SCARES ME A LITTLE,

IN A RIGHT WAY.

I HAVE A REVERENTIAL FEAR OF THIS SCRIPTURE.

ROMANS 14:12: "SO THEN EACH OF US WILL GIVE AN ACCOUNT

OF HIMSELF TO GOD."

I THINK WE NEED TO HAVE SOME SCRIPTURES THAT GIVE US

SOME REVERENTIAL FEAR.

THAT'S PART OF WHAT'S WRONG WITH PEOPLE TODAY.

THEY DON'T HAVE THE PROPER REVERENTIAL FEAR OF GOD.

YES, GOD IS OUR FRIEND BUT YOU CAN'T LOOK AT GOD LIKE YOUR

BUDDY THAT YOU JUST HANG OUT WITH, THAT JUST UNDERSTANDS YOU

AND JUST, YOU KNOW, WHATEVER.

NO, GOD IS GOD.

HE IS ALMIGHTY GOD AND HE MEANS WHAT HE SAYS AND WHEN HE SAYS TO

DO SOMETHING, WE BETTER DO IT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND WE NEED A LITTLE MORE OF THAT HELLFIRE AND

BRIMSTONE PREACHING BACK THAT PEOPLE USED TO HAVE YEARS AGO.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO I WAS READING SOMETHING THE OTHER DAY THAT

SAID, "TODAY PEOPLE THINK HELL EITHER DOESN'T EXIST OR THAT

IT'S JUST GONNA BE A PLACE THAT'S GONNA BE UNCOMFORTABLE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: IT'S NO WONDER WE'VE GOT SO MANY WIMPY CHRISTIANS.

YOU GOTTA HAVE SOME REVERENTIAL FEAR OF GOD.

YOU GOTTA--YOU DON'T NEED TO BE AFRAID OF GOD.

HE LOVES YOU, HE'S NOT GONNA HURT YOU, BUT HE'S NOT TO BE

MESSED AROUND WITH EITHER.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: "WE GET THE KINDNESS AND THE SEVERITY OF GOD,"

PAUL SAID.

WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES TO LIVE IN US, WE HAVE A GUIDE AND

A COMPANION FOR THE WHOLE REST OF OUR LIVES.

BUT NOW GET THIS.

WE HAVE A COMPANION THAT'S SMARTER THAN WE ARE.

AND HE'S IN US TO HOPEFULLY KEEP US GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

SO WE CAN HAVE THE THINGS THAT JESUS DIED FOR US TO HAVE.

THEY'RE ALL OURS BY RIGHT OF INHERITANCE BUT GOD IS NOT GOING

TO GIVE THE INHERITANCE THAT HE WANTS US TO HAVE TO A BUNCH OF

SPOILED BRATTY BABIES, AMEN?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: ANY PARENT KNOWS IF YOU'VE GOT ANY KIND OF

AN INHERITANCE TO LEAVE TO YOUR CHILDREN, YOU DON'T GO GIVE

A BUNCH OF MONEY TO A THREE-YEAR-OLD.

YOU PUT WHAT THEY HAVE WITH A TRUSTEE UNTIL THEY'RE OLD

ENOUGH TO GET IT.

WELL, THE HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR TRUSTEE, AND JESUS SAID HE WILL

REVEAL EVERYTHING TO YOU THAT'S MINE.

HE WILL TRANSMIT IT TO YOU.

HE WILL MAKE IT WORK IN YOUR LIFE BUT IT'S AS WE MATURE

AND GROW UP IN GOD.

JOHN 16:13: "WHEN HE, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH COMES, HE WILL GUIDE

YOU INTO ALL THE TRUTH."

BUT PLEASE REMEMBER, A LOT OF WHAT GOD'S GONNA HAVE TO SHOW

YOU IS STUFF ABOUT YOU THAT YOU DON'T WANNA SEE.

I WONDER--WELL, LET'S JUST ASK AND SEE WHAT WE GET.

WHY NOT?

HOW MANY OF YOU ARE HARD TO GET ALONG WITH?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: WELL, THEN, I GUESS YOU DON'T HAVE TO WONDER WHY YOU

DON'T HAVE MANY FRIENDS.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: HOW MANY OF YOU ARE CONTROLLERS?

YOU WANNA BE IN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: SEE?

THIS IS LIKE A FREE SESSION ON THE PSYCHIATRIST'S COUCH TODAY.

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: OKAY, NOW LISTEN.

IF WE KNOW THAT, WE KNOW--SEE, GOD SHOWED ME WHEN I WAS TALKING

TO HIM ABOUT CHANGING DAVE, HE SAID, "YOU'RE JUST HARD TO GET

ALONG WITH."

I REMEMBER WHEN DAVE FINALLY SAID TO ME ONE DAY,

HE SAID, "DO YOU KNOW WHAT?

I'VE TRIED TO DO THIS TO PLEASE YOU AND THAT TO PLEASE YOU AND

THIS TO PLEASE YOU AND NO MATTER WHAT I DO, YOU STILL FIND SOME

WAY TO BE UNHAPPY SO GUESS WHAT?

I'M DONE TRYING.

YOU CAN EITHER GET HAPPY OR YOU CAN STAY UNHAPPY BUT YOU'RE NOT

GONNA MAKE ME UNHAPPY ANYMORE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SERIOUSLY, HAVE A MEETING WITH YOURSELF.

BE BOLD.

WHAT KIND OF A PERSON AM I?

C'MON, GOD, LET'S HAVE A TRUTH SESSION.

AM I SELFISH OR AM I GENEROUS?

DO I--DO I REALLY ENJOY GIVING?

I FOUND OUT A TRUTH ABOUT ME LAST WEEK.

AT THIS AGE, I FOUND OUT SOMETHING ABOUT ME, AND I SAID

TO MY DAUGHTER WHO THEN BEGAN TO LAUGH VERY LOUDLY, I SAID, "DO

YOU KNOW WHAT, LAURA, I HAVE DISCOVERED ABOUT MYSELF?"

AND SHE SAID, "WHAT?" I SAID, "I DON'T LIKE TO BE

UNCOMFORTABLE."

AND SHE SAID, "REALLY?"

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT BEFORE?"

AND I SAID, "NO."

SEE, I DON'T LIKE TO BE HOT AND I DON'T LIKE TO BE COLD.

I WANT IT TO BE JUST RIGHT.

I LIKE A GOOD MATTRESS.

CAN'T DO WITH A MATTRESS THAT'S NOT GOOD.

AND THEN I ALSO REALIZED THAT WHEN I'M NOT COMFORTABLE

I USUALLY WANNA MAKE SURE EVERYBODY KNOWS I'M NOT

COMFORTABLE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: SO IF GOD DECIDED TO SHOW ME THAT, I HAVE A FEELING

THAT THE NEXT LESSON IS GONNA BE LEARN TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE

AND KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: HOW MANY OF YOU THINK THAT YOU MAYBE HAVE A FEW MORE

THINGS TO LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF?

OKAY, NOW, IT'S NOT GOOD TO LIE TO A PREACHER SO I WANNA KNOW

HOW MANY OF YOU ARE GONNA GO HOME AND SOMETIME WITHIN

THE NEXT WEEK YOU'RE GONNA HAVE THAT MEETING WITH YOURSELF.

ALL RIGHT, YOU KNOW, WE CAN'T GROW SPIRITUALLY WITHOUT TRUTH.

BUT HERE AGAIN, IT'S JUST NOT SOME TRUTH.

YOU KNOW, WE LOVE IT WHEN GOD SHOWS US TRUTH ABOUT

SOMEBODY ELSE.

THAT DON'T HURT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: BUT IT'S WHEN HE STARTS SHOWING US, YOU KNOW

WHAT, IT IS YOUR FAULT.

THERE'S ALWAYS THINGS THAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE DOING WRONG.

NOBODY'S SAYING THAT YOU'RE THE ONLY PERSON IN THE BUILDING

THAT DOES ANYTHING WRONG.

BUT HERE'S THE THING.

WE CAN'T FIX THEM.

ONLY GOD CAN.

THE ONLY PERSON YOU CAN FIX IS YOU, AMEN?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND SO I LEARNED A LONG TIME AGO IF I STAY BUSY

LETTING GOD WORK WITH ME, THEN HE'LL TAKE CARE OF THE OTHER

PEOPLE IN MY LIFE AND I DON'T NEED TO MAKE THEM MY PRIVATE

WORKSHOP THING.

"SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE IN ALL THINGS, BOTH IN SPEECH,

OUR LIVES EXPRESSING TRUTH.

LET US GROW UP IN ALL THINGS INTO HIM FOLLOWING HIS EXAMPLE

WHO IS THE HEAD THAT IS CHRIST JESUS."

FUNNY EXAMPLE.

YOUR CLOTHES GET TOO TIGHT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: WELL, YOU'RE NEVER EATING TOO MUCH.

WE KNOW THAT.

YOUR METABOLISM HAS GONE HAYWIRE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: THE CLEANERS SHRUNK YOUR CLOTHES.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: SURELY, THE CLEANERS SHRUNK YOUR CLOTHES.

TRUTH IS ARMOR.

WHEN YOU START WALKING IN THE TRUTH, BEING TRUTHFUL WITH

YOURSELF ESPECIALLY IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT TODAY.

WHEN YOU START REALLY WALKING IN TRUTH, IT GIVES YOU AN ARMOR

AGAINST THE DEVIL.

THE BIBLE SAYS THAT THE BELT OF TRUTH IS ONE OF THE PIECES OF

ARMOR THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US.

NOW, WE KNOW THAT'S TALKING ABOUT THE WORD OF GOD.

BUT THE WORD OF GOD MUST BE APPLIED TO OUR LIVES.

AND SO IN EPHESIANS 6 IT SAYS THAT WHEN YOU'RE HAVING

PROBLEMS, YOU ARE TO TIGHTEN THE BELT OF TRUTH.

TIGHTEN IT.

IN OTHER WORDS, IF YOU'RE GOING THROUGH SOMETHING TOUGH, YOU

BETTER HANG ON TO WHAT'S IN HERE LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER HUNG ON

BEFORE.

AND I'VE LEARNED SOMETHING ABOUT PROBLEMS.

SHORT-TERM PROBLEMS ARE MUCH EASIER TO DEAL WITH THAN LONG,

LONG, VERY LONG, PROBLEMS.

OR WHEN YOU GET OVER ONE, AND ANOTHER ONE COMES RIGHT BACK.

AND YOU GET OVER ANOTHER ONE, AND ANOTHER ONE COMES

RIGHT BACK.

ANYBODY HERE FEEL LIKE YOU'VE JUST HAD A TRAIN OF PROBLEMS

LATELY?

WELL, I'VE HAD SOME STUFF GOING ON TOO, LET ME TELL YOU.

AND I'VE HAD TO HANG ON.

WE GOT TIME FOR ONE MORE.

I HAVE TEN OF THESE TODAY, BY THE WAY.

PSALM 51:6 SAYS: "BEHOLD, YOU DESIRE TRUTH IN

THE INNERMOST BEING."

SO WHAT'S OUR JOB FOR TODAY?

WE'RE GONNA BE HONEST WITH OURSELF ABOUT OURSELF, RIGHT?

AND YOU KNOW WHAT WE'RE GONNA LEARN HOW TO SAY?

I WANT YOU TO LEARN HOW TO SAY THIS WITHOUT MUMBLING:

"I WAS WRONG.

AND I'M SORRY."

YOU MUMBLED.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YOU DID OKAY ON THE "I WAS WRONG," BUT

YOU WENT TO A LOW MUMBLE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: C'MON, "I WAS WRONG, AND I'M SORRY."

THAT CAN SAVE MARRIAGES, IT CAN ENDEAR YOU TO PEOPLE.

YOU WILL BE ABSOLUTELY AMAZED HOW MUCH BETTER PEOPLE WILL LIKE

YOU IF YOU START TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE THINGS

YOU DO WRONG AND STOP TRYING TO PUSH EVERYTHING OFF ON

SOMEBODY ELSE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: THE SECOND KEY TO BREAKTHROUGH: PRAY, OF COURSE,

'CAUSE YOU'RE GONNA NEED A LOT OF HELP WITH THIS ONE.

SO YOU WANNA PRAY FIRST.

BECAUSE THE NEXT KEY TO BREAKTHROUGH IS STOP FEELING

SORRY FOR YOURSELF.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SELF-PITY.

THE DEVIL INVITES YOU TO A PITY PARTY AND YOU DECIDE TO GO.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YOU'VE BEEN THERE EVERY DAY FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS.

YOU KNOW IT'S A MISERABLE PARTY BUT YOU GO AGAIN.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: I MEAN, WHO WOULDN'T WANNA SIT IN A DARK ROOM ALL DAY

AND CRY AND THINK ABOUT HOW BAD OFF YOU ARE?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: WHAT COULD YOU FIND TO DO THAT WOULD BE ANY MORE FUN

THAN THAT?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: I USED TO HAVE SUCH A PROBLEM WITH SELF-PITY.

"I WAS ABUSED.

I DIDN'T GET TO GO TO COLLEGE.

[MOANING]

DAVE'S OUT PLAYING GOLF AGAIN TODAY,"

ON AND ON AND ON.

AND I'M SURE YOU'VE HEARD ME SAY THIS BUT AS I WAS GROWING UP

IN GOD AND HE HAD GIVEN ME A MINISTRY AND I WAS WANTING THAT

TO GROW, I STILL WASTED A LOT OF MY TIME, YES, I SAID

"WASTED A LOT OF MY TIME," FEELING SORRY FOR MYSELF.

IF A MEETING WASN'T BIG ENOUGH I FELT SORRY FOR MYSELF.

IF I WANTED AN OPPORTUNITY TO DO SOMETHING AND THE OPPORTUNITY

WENT TO SOMEBODY ELSE I'D FEEL SORRY FOR MYSELF.

HOW MANY OF YOU WANNA SEE THE POWER OF GOD FLOWING THROUGH

YOUR LIFE?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WELL THEN, TODAY, YOU HAVE TO GIVE UP PITY.

SELF-PITY.

YOU KNOW WHY IT'S A PROBLEM?

BECAUSE IT'S IDOLATRY.

IT CAUSES US TO TURN IN ON OURSELVES AND EVERYTHING IS

ABOUT HOW I FEEL, WHAT I WANT, WHAT I'M NOT GETTING, WHAT

PEOPLE AREN'T DOING FOR ME, WHAT I'VE MISSED OUT ON IN LIFE.

WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING IS COUNTING OUR BLESSINGS, NOT

LOOKING AT ALL THE STUFF THAT SOMEBODY HAS NOT DONE FOR US.

LET ME READ YOU DEUTERONOMY 7:1-2:

"WHEN THE LORD YOUR GOD BRINGS YOU INTO THE LAND WHICH

YOU ARE ENTERING TO POSSESS AND HAS CLEARED AWAY MANY NATIONS

BEFORE YOU, THE HITTITES, THE GIRGASHITES, THE AMORITES,

THE CANAANITES, THE PERIZZITES, THE HIVITES, THE JEBUSITES," AND

WE'VE ALL GOT OUR OWN "ITES," THE GROUCHY NEIGHBORITES,

THE BAD BOSSITES, THE ACHING BACKITES, THE--WE'VE ALL

GOT 'EM.

NOW, LISTEN TO THIS.

"WHEN THE LORD YOUR GOD GIVES THEM OVER TO YOU AND YOU DEFEAT

THEM, THEN YOU SHALL UTTERLY DESTROY THEM.

YOU SHALL NOT MAKE A COVENANT (OR A TREATY) WITH THEM, NOR

SHALL YOU SHOW THEM MERCY OR COMPASSION."

NOW, I WANT TO APPLY THIS TO THIS THING ABOUT SELF-PITY

BUT YOU CAN APPLY IT TO LOTS OF DIFFERENT THINGS.

I KNEW THAT GOD HAD DEALT WITH ME ABOUT SELF-PITY.

I KNEW I NEEDED TO STOP DOING IT.

AND I FULLY INTENDED TO OBEY GOD BUT SOMETIMES I JUST WANTED TO

HAVE JUST ONE CUP OF COFFEE WITH PITY.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: BEFORE I HAD TO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR MYSELF

AND ACT HAPPY ALL DAY.

I JUST WANTED A LITTLE BIT OF TIME AND GOD LED ME TO THIS

SCRIPTURE.

SAID, "YOU CAN'T HAVE PITY ON PITY.

YOU CAN'T HAVE COMPASSION ON PITY.

YOU CAN'T LET IT STAY AROUND FOR TWO SECONDS.

YOU HAVE TO UTTERLY DEFEAT IT AND DESTROY IT."

JOYCE: WELL, TRUTH IS THE MOST POWERFUL ARMOR THAT WE

HAVE AGAINST THE DEVIL.

I ENCOURAGE YOU TO ASK GOD TO SHOW YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT

YOURSELF AND THEN LEAN ON GOD TO SHOW YOU WHAT TO DO ABOUT

WHAT HE SHOWS YOU.

YOU KNOW, WE ALL NEED TRUTH BUT IT'S THE TRUTH ABOUT US

THAT HELPS US.

DON'T EVER BE AFRAID TO FACE TRUTH.

TODAY, WE'RE OFFERING YOU A BOOK FOR YOUR GIFT TO THE MINISTRY OF

ANY AMOUNT.

THE BOOK IS CALLED, "NEVER GIVE UP!"

I TELL YOU, I HONESTLY BELIEVE IF YOU'LL BE THE KIND OF PERSON

WHO JUST SAYS, "I AM NOT GONNA GIVE UP," THAT YOU WILL HAVE

VICTORY IN EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE.

BUT WE HAVE TO LEARN TO TAKE 100% RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR

LIFE, STOP MAKING EXCUSES, AND EVEN IF WHERE YOU'RE AT RIGHT

NOW MAYBE WASN'T YOUR FAULT, IT'S THE RESULT OF THINGS THAT

HAVE HAPPENED THAT YOU HAD NO CONTROL OVER OR SOMEBODY HURT

YOU, STILL IF YOU DON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHERE YOU'RE

AT NOW, YOU'LL NEVER GET OUT OF THAT PLACE.

SO BE WILLING AND READY TO HEAR FROM GOD AND TO DO WHAT HE SHOWS

YOU TO DO AND YOU WILL EXPERIENCE A BREAKTHROUGH.

AND GET THIS BOOK, "NEVER GIVE UP!"

YOUR GIFT TO THE MINISTRY OF ANY AMOUNT.

ALL WE ASK IS THAT YOU DO YOUR BEST.
