Youtube daily report Jul 12 2018

Watching birdies soar

Four spring flowers

So happy and alive

Spring flowers

So pretty

Spring flowers

For you and me

Five spring flowers

And not a flower more

One got picked

Four spring flowers

As happy as could be

Where were you

Where were you

Wherever you are

God will forgive you

Wherever you are

If you beg, he will forgive you

Where were you

Where were you

while I was so cold that I couldn't feel anything?

Where were you

Where were you

Where were you

r/nosleep: My girlfriend talks in her sleep She's been saying the most horrible things recently... - Duration: 13:30.

My girlfriend talks in her sleep.

She's been saying the most horrible things recently...

I'm infatuated with her.

Utterly infatuated.

And it wasn't at a healthy level.

Far from it.

I would think about her every moment she was away.

I would sometimes sit on my couch and just stare at my phone waiting for her to text.

I'd tell myself "Don't contact her.

Don't.

It will come off as too strong."

But then I'd still find myself clicking her name on my contact list before my inner voice would continue,

"You don't want her to know how desperately smitten you are with her.

It's unattractive.

It will scare her off.

No, you must wait for her to call you this time."

But it was excruciating and exhausting.

Almost unbearable.

I once heard that the ancient Greeks believed that falling madly and irrationally in love with somebody

was a curse that you would wish upon your enemies.

I could never understand what they meant.

After all, isn't falling head over heels in love the ultimate goal nowadays?

But now that it's happened to me, I have to say… the ancient Greeks were right.

This is a curse.

I was barely in control of myself.

Almost as though my infatuation with her had… possessed me.

The two of us were sexually active together but still in the "dating" phase.

We were at that make or break era of a blossoming relationship where we'd either have "the talk"

and formally be in a relationship or we'd start to slowly drift apart.

The latter of which I don't think I'd be able to cope with.

Honestly, I wouldn't be able to.

Almost everything about her captivated me.

The way she held her hand over her mouth when she laughed.

How she'd caress the pendant of her necklace when she was frightened.

How she'd twirl her hair in her finger when she was excited.

All of it.

Her smell.

Her smile.

Her eyes.

Yeah, I know.

It probably makes you sick reading about it.

I feel the same way.

I was never the hopeless romantic type.

But now I can't stop fantasizing about her.

I'd think about us doing the long three-hour hike up to that magnificent view from one of our first dates.

To that first kiss, as we overlooked the lights of the city.

But this time I'd get down on one knee, bring out the ring, and…

well… you know what would happen next.

Alright, fine. I'll stop.

Yes, this is a girl I'd only been casually dating for a couple of months.

I shouldn't be thinking about proposing yet.

I know that.

I'm just barely able to control myself any longer.

I feel as though I'm losing power over the decisions I make.

And that brings me to why I'm here writing this out at the moment.

It started with the first real thing that troubled me about her.

We'd never actually spent a night together.

No matter how late she was over, once either of us showed signs of being tired, she'd up and leave.

She wouldn't leave awkwardly or in anger.

Just a casual kiss good night, a smile, and a "call me soon".

It was something I didn't really even notice the first few times she did it.

But after almost 8 weeks of dating, it was becoming strange.

I'd have to ask her about it.

It took drinking almost an entire bottle of wine before I had the courage to do it.

She looked almost defeated when I asked and lowered her eyes in embarrassment.

"I knew this talk would come eventually," She started.

She took in a deep breath with a long drawn out exhale.

"Recently…." she paused again.

"I've started talking in my sleep."

She shook her head in embarrassment.

"It's called somniloquy, I looked it up."

I shrugged and laughed out loud.

My demeanor seemed to say "That's it?"

"No, Stephen… listen" she said.

She wasn't laughing.

"It's bad.

It…

It's completely out of control.

It's not just random words or gibberish.

No.

It's horrible.

I say horrible disgusting things."

She was starting to raise her voice, breath heavy, and tear up.

I approached her and held her.

I told her it couldn't be that bad.

I told her to spend the night.

I told her she was probably exaggerating.

I was wrong.

That night she stayed at my house.

But she warned me of something before falling asleep.

"Whatever you do, don't wake me up.

It makes me really scared and disoriented if that happens.

And don't respond to me.

Just ignore it."

I nodded and agreed.

"If it becomes too much," she continued.

"Just leave the room and sleep on the couch.

I won't mind."

I told her not to worry about it.

I told her that it wouldn't be a big deal.

I told her I wouldn't leave to the couch.

I'd stay beside her in the bed.

But I was wrong.

I couldn't even last one night.

We both fell asleep without incident.

I don't know how many hours passed, but

I woke up in the dark with the sensation that someone was watching me.

And then I remembered…

She was with me.

She was actually spending the night.

I smiled.

But then I noticed the shadowy outline of her sitting up on the bed.

She was looking down at me.

Staring.

It creeped me out. I'll admit it.

Her posture was entirely different.

It was as though it wasn't even her at all.

Then she spoke.

It wasn't her voice that I heard.

It was much lower and gravelly.

Like something out of a horror movie.

"I'll chew the skin from your bones."

She said.

I froze.

At first, I just kept looking at her.

This was not at all what I expected.

I thought it would be more like the way Tourette's is often portrayed.

Just random swearing and shouting.

I honestly thought to myself… what will I do if she attacks me right now?

What if she really does try to chew the skin from my bones?

But then she just lied down and went back to sleep.

I was creeped out.

I tried to lie back down and ignore her but struggled.

I couldn't even close my eyes without thinking

"Maybe she's sitting up again and staring at me."

And then one time I rolled over to look at her

…and she was.

Her face was pressed right towards mine.

Her breath was foul and rotted.

Something that was most certainly not normal for her.

She spoke again, in the same voice as before.

"If you don't move to the couch, you'll be dead by morning."

That did it for me.

I sat up in a moment and headed for the living room.

She made some sort of wheezing sound as I left.

I think it was supposed to be laughter.

I was lying on the couch, but I wasn't going to be able to fall back to sleep.

I was far too shaken.

I was staring out towards the window, hoping to see the first few hints of the sun rising.

And then I thought I heard something.

From the bedroom.

I listened.

And then I heard it again.

"Stephen."

It was that same low and gravelly voice.

It sounded like a witch.

I tried to just ignore it at first.

But then it continued.

"Stephen."

Still I said nothing.

"I know you can hear me, Stephen.

You're awake now.

Why don't you come back into the bedroom?"

The voice barely sounded human.

"Or maybe you'd prefer if I come to you?"

I still didn't say anything.

I was told not to.

But I listened.

If I heard her start walking towards the bedroom door...

I'm not even joking, I would have run right out of the apartment.

But she had asked me not to respond to her sleep talking.

So I didn't.

And then I heard her once more.

"Sorry if this spoils your plans."

She began laughing.

"The two of you were supposed to walk that trail again."

She started.

I wasn't even remotely prepared for what she'd say next.

"You'd both be so tired when you'd reach the top.

You'd look over the city.

Then you'll get on one knee, and bring out the ring."

She began laughing.

And that's when I realized this wasn't just a problem with sleep talking.

It was something much more.

Something supernatural.

I had never told anybody about my proposal fantasy.

There was simply no way she could have known about any of it.

This was no longer about merely talking in ones' sleep.

This was about possession.

I can't go back into the bedroom.

I have no idea what would happen if I did.

Instead, I'm going to wait it out, holding up in my living room until the sun rises.

I have a couple more hours yet.

I can hear her laughing occasionally in the bedroom.

It's still not her voice.

Still that same low pitch cackle.

But as I sit on my couch writing this out, here's what scares me the most…

Maybe my infatuation and utter obsession with her wasn't normal.

I said before that I felt like I was losing control of myself.

More so I believe than the typical falling in love story.

No.

I fear that the infatuation I felt was the entity slowly taking control of me.

Of it controlling my thoughts, fears, ambitions, and anxieties.

Maybe once I become completely absorbed, a transfer would occur, and she would be free of it.

I know I should leave.

That I should open the front door, get in my car, and drive away from here.

But I can't.

I can't leave her.

I've already lost control.

I'm infatuated with her.

Utterly...

Infatuated.

Reunion Weekend 2018 - Duration: 2:28.

I don't know about you, but I'm having a great time at Reunion

It's just amazing to see the energy that is happening around here

Your love of Lehigh is really clear

And I am really happy at the excitement that I feel about what Lehigh is doing today

Coming back to Lehigh is a great feeling because it's not just the memories

But it's also the experiences that I can share with my family and everything that came with it

It's great. Such great times happened here, made great friends, learned a lot

It's just a happy place for me

It's always nostalgic. Coming here and seeing all the buildings

And while you still see some of the staples that are always nostalgic

It's always good to know that the scenery is still changing

The fun thing about Reunion is

While you'll probably see some of the same people you'll see regularly

It's those people that are flying in from different places and areas

Coming in from different states

That's the novelty of something like this as opposed to any other weekend

The most fun thing is reconnecting with friends

And reliving some of the fun that we had at Lehigh

Most of the friends end up being from our living groups freshman year

And the friendships have just continued for 35 years

So it's great

I think when you meet people from Lehigh

There's just an instant bond and connection

The experiences are different over the years

But there's just something that brings everybody together

I think there are a lot more things offered this year

Campus tours they've always had, but going up on the hill I think is going to be a highlight

Hawktoberfest is something new so that's going to be fun

Maybe we'll run into some people there

I think people should come to Reunion to reminisce

To remind themselves what a great place this is and to rekindle friendships

You should come hang out with all your classmates

And people maybe you haven't seen for a while

Reconnect and find out how your lives may be intersecting even now

You definitely need to be here

Just to see people you haven't seen

And just to be part of the experience

Fox and Cubs Watercolor Painting || Urban Animals - Animal Artists Collective (Unofficial) - Duration: 8:04.

The road was quiet.

I was getting closer to a traffic light and saw something waiting at the crosswalk to

cross the road.

It seemed like a dog at first, but then I saw it was actually a fox.

Hi everyone!

This week's video is another unofficial entry for the Animal Artists Collective and the

theme is urban animals meaning wild animals that live in one of today's most wide spread

environments, human establishments.

The animal I chose was fox, because I remembered an encounter I had with a fox a few years

ago.

So, I was driving home from work.

It was spring or summer, probably May and I was going home after an evening shift so

it was maybe 10 pm, I don't remember exactly.

But it was getting a little dark, but not that dark since it was spring or summer time

in Finland and it gets dark very late.

It was really quiet on the road.

I was getting closer to a traffic light and I saw there was something waiting at the crosswalk

to cross the road.

And at first I thought it was a dog and I was wondering why is this dog not in a leash,

where is the owner.

And I had a green light, but I slowed down in case the dog would cross the road, but

it didn't.

It just waited and then I saw it was actually a fox.

A very worn down, skinny fox waiting for the green light to cross the road.

And that was my idea for this painting.

Now, before I actually started sketching it, I had another encounter with a fox.

Or actually it was 4 fox cubs.

So, in midsummer this year we were at summer cottage in central Finland in the countryside

and we had driven to a duck-board path on a swamp area that goes round a couple of ponds

or lakes that were like a 30 min drive away.

And we were driving back at noon or maybe early afternoon and then I saw some strange

animal jumping in the field.

It wasn't a rabbit, but it was about the same size.

It was more funny looking from the distance like a light brown tapir or something, but

they don't live in Finland obviously.

So, only when we got closer we could see it was a little fox.

And there was another one.

And another and another.

They were playing in the field, where the cows usually graze.

They were not scared of us, a couple of them actually ran towards the car when I got out

with the camera.

One of them, a very skinny one, ran across the road.

Then the next day when we left, we looked closely when we drove by the same place and

sure enough, two of the fox cubs were there again.

One of them was sleeping in the field at first and didn't care about the car.

And then the other one woke it up and they were play fighting.

So, those were my encounters with foxes, both of them felt quite surreal at the time, although

apparently it's quite common to see a fox in the city nowadays.

And I combined them into a concept of a fox and two fox cubs crossing the street.

I had this idea in my head and then realized it resembles a Beatles album cover so I used

that as one of my references.

And I don't know if I've done perspective drawing since school, but I thought it would

work for the idea.

So, I made one vanishing point for the road and the sides are covered with trees and greenery

and there's a small shred of sky visible on top.

There's a bit of pink to make it look like an early evening sunset.

The road is kind of funny, it's not wide enough to have two lanes, when you compare it to

the foxes.

I didn't think about that until I had already sketched them.

So, I sketched on normal printer paper with colored pencils using multiple references.

Some were my own photos of the fox cubs, some were stock photos, some just from google images.

I also glanced at some reference photos of long roads, crosswalks and traffic lights.

Then I transferred the sketch onto watercolor paper with graphite transfer paper and used

a thin 005 Micron pen for inking and erased the pencil lines before painting.

I'm not sure the inking was a good idea.

I had sketched the general shapes of the foxes but not the fluffiness of the fur so when

I inked those lines, the foxes didn't turn out that fox looking and I couldn't really

fix it while painting since watercolor won't cover up ink.

I painted with Cotman watercolors and added some Creabox Marabu watercolor pens at the

end too for texture and more saturated colors.

And actually at the very end after I stopped filming, I added some white acrylic too for

highlights.

All my supplies are listed below.

As I mentioned, this painting is an unofficial entry for the Animal Artists Collective.

It's a group, where the members each paint an animal based on a chosen theme every two

months.

They make a speed painting video and sell the original artwork and give at least 50%

of the proceeds to animal conservation, so please check them out and see which animals

they chose.

You can also take part in the themes unofficially as I'm doing now.

I'll to link a playlist below with all the AAC videos I can find, including both official

and unofficial ones, so you can easily find them.

You can vote for the next theme on their Facebook page soon, so I'll link that below as well.

Before peeling the tape, thank you so much for watching and see you next week!

I'm posting two videos a week at the moment.

A real time ASMR art video with relaxing drawing or art supply sounds on Tuesdays and a small

art tutorial or a speed painting like this on Fridays.

Bye!

Volkswagen Golf R - test - Jest Pięknie za kierownicą - Duration: 4:15.

When I drove the new VW Golf over a year ago I felt a bit uneasy.

That's because that was, in my opinion, everything one could want from a car.

And really, there is a bazillion other fun cars, and I'm choosing Golf?

After careful consideration, I'd rather a Golf R than a normal one.

Why? There are 7 reasons to choose the VW Golf R.

1 – Golf R is so practical – because it's a Golf. It has all the systems I told you about, it has great infotainment, great GPS, but that's not why you buy it.

2 – you buy it because it has 310 HP and all wheel drive.

Sure, the latter makes the boot a bit smaller, but when the weather is bad, I feel safer.

Should another driver change lanes unexpectedly, brake or do anything else like that, it's easier to react.

3 – all wheel drive is what differs the Golf R from Golf GTI Marek likes so much.

Sure, it's not very useful most of the time, but I'd rather have it.

And since I'm not big on this car-driver connection, AT is fine with me. There's paddle shift if I'm feeling sporty.

4 – this is a 5-door version and the only one I'm considering.

We don't have kids but we have our parents, aunts, grandpa – and we drive them around Poland from time to time.

Should I need a bigger boot, there's Golf Variant R – such boot, much horsepower. Wow.

5 – there's this sound. Only partly natural, some of it is artificial, but this is fun. Not exactly high brow but fun.

6 – sth I really appreciate, the looks. Golf R looks like a normal car.

Want sporty? Get Ford Focus RS.

Want sth more chav? Get Honda Civic Type R.

7 – the marking revealing it's not a normal Golf are quite discreet. Sure, there's alway this hot head who wants to race.

4.6secs 0-100 km/h is impressive, but BMW M3 is faster. But it's also more of a wild thing, whereas here it's less crazy.

I know Golf R is 40k PLN more expensive than Golf GTI, the boot is smaller and the speed difference hard to feel in everyday driving.

But it has the all wheel drive and crazy good sound that I like. And it's still a practical Golf.

And which hot hatch would you choose? Let me know in the comments below.

Don't forget to rate my video – give it a thumb up if you liked it. Press the bell button to stay up to date with all my videos.

New car reviews and tutorials every Thursday, same time. Thanks and see you soon!

I'm off to see if there's sth to eat at Col de Turini.

023 Should I Go To College Or Become A Real Estate Investor - Duration: 4:22.

Hey, it's Joe.

I get this question a lot, especially from people who are in high school or just graduated

from high school or just got out of the military and it's, "Should I go to college or should

I become a real estate investor?"

And I, you know, I'll get calls, especially from people that are just out of high school

and, you know, says, "My mom's going to pay for my education.

They want me to go to college and I want to be a real estate investor.

And I want to be an entrepreneur.

I don't want to go have a job.

I hate the idea of going to business school and going to work for a corporation and working

for somebody else and making them a ton of money and not having control of my life."

And I say, you know, I absolutely understand.

You know, and if you want to get into the mentor program I'm happy to do that.

You understand how it works, and, you know, you've already been to the website.

You've read about it and you know what it's going to cost.

It's going to cost about as much as going to college for a semester, you know, so, not

four years, but one semester of college.

Maybe a little less than a semester of college.

I've got two kids in college right now that are just about finished and it'll be nice

to stop paying the college bills when that's done.

But, I say to them, you know, college is a good place to go grow up.

You know, it's a good place to go learn how to live on your own.

I mean, there's things that you do as a Freshman and Sophomore that teach you how

to live in the real world.

And they'll also make you a better entrepreneur eventually.

Is it really going to teach you anything about how to be a real estate investor?

No, not really.

I had a Harvard MBA student come into my mentor program and she said to me, "Joe, you know,

they don't teach anything that you're teaching in school.

You know, they're all about other stuff."

And those people are going to make a lot of money, and they're going to go to their

derivative thing or whatever it is that they do.

But I like working with real estate.

And I like having my own business and I want to be an entrepreneur.

And you don't have to go to college, you don't have to have a degree to do that.

Having a college degree makes you feel good about yourself.

And it's fun and it's a place to go grow up and if somebody else is paying for it for

you, great.

If you're borrowing money to do it, college loans, you know, that's a decision you have

to make.

While you're in college you probably, the only job you're going to have is, you know,

maybe working at the McDonald's, you know, making some extra bucks if you need to.

Hopefully you don't have to do that.

Hopefully you can have somebody put you through college or get a student loan to help you

get through the process.

But when you're going through the real estate mentor program, you're actually, you have

the potential to make money.

You probably won't make money for the first three or four months, but you have the potential

to make money while you're doing that work, unlike college where you don't do anything

in the real world until later.

So, I think it does make sense to go to college.

I encouraged my kids to go to college.

I went to college.

You know, I got a degree.

They got a degree, you know, and my wife went to college.

So, I think that that makes sense.

And you learn a lot of other things from college that you won't get in the business.

So I'm glad that I did that.

I think a good Liberal Arts education is actually a really good thing because it teaches you

to think, it teaches you to be creative.

You know, if you understand you know, literature and philosophy and Math and languages, those

are all good things to learn and they will benefit you in your life as you move forward.

So I definitely encourage college, but I think if your main goal is just to learn how to

be a real estate investor and get to the money as quickly as you can, then you know, start

being a real estate investor.

Whether it's through my mentor program or just using the videos that I give away for

free on the blog that teach you how to do it, and start implementing those idea.

Because nothing will happen until you start implementing the ideas whether you're working

with me directly or you're doing it on your own.

All right.

I hope that helps.

Improve Your Impact Compression With This Immediate Feedback Drill - Duration: 4:36.

Hi, my name is Jim Roy, former player on the PGA Tour and Champions Tour, and in this video,

I want to discuss the impact position in golf.

A lot of people, I think, try to swing back to the way they were at address, but in fact,

the impact position is a lot different than we were at address.

So, let's take a look at those differences.

When we set up to the golf ball here, you know, our hands are pretty much even with

the ball.

Sometimes, with an iron, they might be slightly ahead, but pretty much even with the ball.

We make our swing, and if people come back right to that position, you're going to end

up hitting the shots heavy or thin.

So, when you see somebody in a real good impact position, here's some of the characteristics

you're going to find.

When we get to impact, our hips are going to be open, our chest is going to be open,

along with our shoulders, and you're going to see our left hand, now, much more ahead

of the golf ball.

This is going to allow us to compress the golf ball and hit down.

When I'm feeling this position here, my chest is pointing out here in front of the golf

ball, my left hip has moved away from the target line, and my right side has actually

gotten closer to the target line.

So, in this position here, my chest is open, my left hip is pulled back, my right arm is

lower than my left, right against my side, and I feel like I've got quite a bit of power.

I can actually kind of press down into the ground and really feel that leverage.

I think a lot of golfers get here, and they like to try to move up, and they're really

not compressing the golf ball like they should.

I've had issues in my own golf game where I've gotten in the habit, at times, of sliding

and kind of tilting my spine back.

So, what I've done to try to help myself with that problem is get into this impact position

- left hip back, left hand forward - and I actually start hitting shots from this position,

just little small shots.

I'll start here, swing back, and just hit little shots.

I'm really not trying to put the club in a certain position, I'm trying to feel that,

what that impact feels like.

So, I hit a lot of golf shots where I'm here, and my hips are open, shaft is forward, left

hand is closer to the target, start from here, and hit shots.

You can see I'm able to hit the ball first and really feel a good compression on the

golf ball.

So, after we've done this a few times, let's increase the speed of the swing.

Here, I'm back at impact.

You can see, chest is open again, hip is open, and then from here, I'm going to make a little

bigger swing, all the time not trying to necessarily get into those positions but feel the positions.

I think it's important because the golf swing is a motion, and I think just getting too

focused on positions, we can disrupt that motion.

After that kind of practice, where we're getting into our impact position, continue to increase

the speed of our swing from here, and you start feeling exactly what you want to feel

like in the golf swing.

So, a quick review.

The difference between setup and impact, from here, hips open, chest open, the hands are

going to be forward.

From here, we're able to really compress the golf ball and turn through the shot.

Start off with some little shots, and once you get the feel of that motion, we want to

graduate to making bigger and bigger swings, and then, eventually, you'll have that feel

in your mind and you know you're going to get to that position.

You can start from the address position, swing right through that feel, and hit some really

good golf shots.

So, if you liked this video, press Like, and leave us a comment too because we'd like to

hear what other topics you'd like us to cover.

And there's a button there where you can subscribe to our website and see all the different videos

Former One Nation adviser Sean Black told woman 'I will shoot you in the head', court hears

A former media advisor for One Nation told a woman he is accused of raping, that he knew "all the politicians" and police, and would "shoot her in the head", a court has heard.

Sean David Black has pleaded not guilty in the District Court in Brisbane to three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of rape.

It is alleged he pushed the woman down a set of stairs, slammed her fingers in a door, raped her in a bathroom and threw her against a wall on separate occasions more than a decade ago.

In his closing address, prosecutor Brendan White said Mr Black told the woman: "I will shoot you in the head and I will kill you and nobody will even notice you are missing.

"At some point he said, 'I know all the politicians' … he worked on a lot of politicians' campaigns," Mr White said.

"He said 'I know all of the police … you've got nowhere to go, I will kill you'.

The prosecution said the woman's account of the events were "rich with believable detail" despite the length of time between them and her police report.

"She came across as an honest person," Mr White told the court.

Prosecutor Brendan White told jurors the woman was raped in an "act of power" and "control over her" because she told Mr Black that he should stop hitting her.

The prosecution said there were doctors reports of bruising from the time which supported the woman's testimony of being assaulted.

Defence barrister Rick Taylor told the court the woman could have received the bruises from any daily life activities and told jurors she was lying about being raped and assaulted to get leverage over Mr Black.

"She had the confidence to weave a fabric of lies into a not-so-convincing story," he said.

"Has she given you an accurate and truthful account of what happened all that time ago?.

"Or has she just manipulated some facts to tell a story?".

Mr Taylor said it was nothing but "false allegations".

"It's horrible that a person could take advantage of another, sexually, to brutalise them," he said.

"It's equally as horrible that one might be wrongly accused of doing such things.

The trial continues.

June Wrap-Up || 2018 - Duration: 15:34.

Bibliophiles of the internet, my name's Adriana and today

I'm here to bring you my super queer, super long June Wrap-Up.

First thing I read in June was my ARC of "Drum Roll, Please" by Lisa Jenn Bigelow.

This is a queer middle grade story about Melly, who is about to go on a summer adventure

with her best friend to this rock star camp. But the day before she leaves,

her parents decide to tell her they're getting a divorce.

So Melly's *trying* to enjoy this experience and learn all she can about being a drummer,

but at the same time she's struggling to process what this means for her family and her life.

At the same time, her best friend is kinda ditching her to pursue her summer crush,

and Melly finds herself gravitating towards a fellow camper named Adeline,

who she might just be seriously crushing on herself.

I love the balance this story strikes. Because it has those fun, easy-going summer vibes.

There's puns. There's music humor. There's camp shenanigans and music activities.

But it's also very much about finding yourself in difficult times.

For Melly, this camp comes at the perfect time, because she's going through an experience where she needs

to fill up her life with friends and good times and music so that there's no room for anything else.

But also because she's become comfortable being in the background.

She's used to being known as a daughter, a friend, a drummer—

—but those identities are always defined in relation to someone *else*.

This camp gives her chance to discover who *she* is, what *she* likes, and what *she* has to say.

She's used to following her best friend and letting someone else call the shots.

Melly's never really given herself permission to find her own sound, to figure out her own taste.

That's what this camp really represents.

And the relationship elements were also handled really well.

It's not this taboo, shocking thing when Melissa realizes she has feelings for Adeline. It's very real and organic.

She just has this moment where she's like, "Huh, I've never had these feelings for a girl."

"But I'm open to figuring out what this is."

So overall this was a really fun, uplifting, empowering, moving story that I really love.

I gave this a *huge* five stars.

Then I finally read "Radio Silence" by Alice Oseman.

This story is about a biracial bisexual girl named Frances,

an elite scholar who has only ever focused on her academics.

But what she loves most is a podcast called "Radio Silence,"

and she's sort of made a name for herself online by creating fanart.

To her surprise, she's invited by the creator of Radio Silence to officially produce art for the podcast,

and she gets an even bigger surprise when she discovers that the creator is actually her neighbor, Aled,

who lives right across the street.

But shortly after they join forces, the podcast goes viral, and everything spirals out of their control,

forcing their friendship closer and closer to the breaking point.

Potential triggers for brief, secondhand descriptions of domestic/emotional abuse.

Also Aled is ace, and if I remember correctly, not entirely cis.

I found myself becoming really invested in this fast, unlikely friendship between Aled and Frances.

Their collective energy was infectious, and the pure joy they got from creating together

and supporting each other was what kept me coming back.

That said, I didn't completely love this book.

The perspective, to me, is very limited, because we're mostly confined to Frances' thoughts,

when she's not the only person the story is happening to.

I think this could have been even *more* powerful if we were able to switch perspectives

and really hear Aled's side of the story in his own words, because he's the one who's dealing with abuse,

he's the one whose privacy is being invaded, he's the one who's feeling trapped—probably more so than Frances.

I felt like those major things he was going through were relatively unexplored,

and I also could have stood to have more depth from the supporting characters as well.

So it was a little conflicting, because I really enjoy how everything tied back together,

and how the story explores creating your own path that disregards what's expected of you.

But I still felt like there were missing pieces.

In the end I gave this one a solid three and a half stars.

Then I listened to "Anger is a Gift" by Mark Oshiro, read by the author himself.

This is a queer contemporary story set in Oakland, California,

about Moss, whose father was unjustly shot and killed by the police.

This loss has traumatized him and left him dealing with anxiety and panic attacks.

Now that he's in high school, a lot of those feelings are starting to resurface

as his school is installing metal detectors, stationing combat-trained officers on campus,

and subsequently criminalizing its students.

Moss and his friends are experiencing discrimination, profiling, and police brutality for themselves.

So after the unthinkable happens, they decide to organize and start pushing back.

Trigger warning: this book does contain lengthy, graphic scenes of police brutality and hostility,

unchecked violence, and assault.

Firstly, I love the diversity of Moss' group of friends.

There's characters of color who are black, Latinx, African, Asian, biracial.

There's friends who are adopted, friends who use wheelchairs, friends who wear the hijab,

friends who are nonbinary, friends who are trans. It's just a great reflection of what the world really is.

One of the strongest aspects of the story is that it spotlights both good allyship and bad allyship,

and what those two things look like.

Being a good ally is *not* centering yourself in conversations that don't affect you.

It's using your privilege to redirect people and resources to where they're needed.

It's letting effected groups decide what's the best move to make.

The title of the story itself also plays a powerful role in the story's themes.

Especially when we're talking about the oppression of people of color,

"anger" usually has a negative connotation, and it's used to minimize conversations

because of this idea that you can get more done if you're "polite."

But sometimes anger is the *only* appropriate reaction. It's the spark that motivates people to organize.

It's the reminder of the injustices that have come to pass.

And you get to see how these characters move beyond outrage and *use* that anger to make progress.

The story doesn't just stop at the need for change.

You see how these students are beginning to protest and organize.

That said, I did have a couple of qualms with this book.

Firstly, that everyone in power is painted as completely villainous and corrupt.

Corruption *does* exist, it *is* normalized, people *are* complicit. But there's really no person in power here

who displays any shred of humanity or even so much as hesitates.

It's like they're emotionless, non-complex robots we're supposed to hate, and it just *isn't* that clean cut.

Secondly, I'm not gonna say who, but there is a major character death within the main group of friends.

And even though I understand what was supposed to be accomplished there and how that death, narratively,

was intended to function, even now it just kinda feels cheap.

Because of the way it was set up and the way everything went down...it just feels like kind of a gimmick.

So ultimately, I gave this one four stars.

Then I read one of my most anticipated releases, and that was "Running with Lions" by Julian Winters.

And I buddy read this one with my sunshine boy, Matthew Sciarappa, which was a really fun experience.

This is an amazing queer sports narrative about high school soccer player, Sebastian,

who's going into his senior year with a strong team he really trusts.

But when the team begins their summer training camp, he's in for a surprise when his ex-best friend

and current rival, Emir, appears to be joining the ranks,

threatening to throw the entire team off with his horrible attitude.

As the future team captain, Sebastian decides to take one for the team and try to coach Emir one-on-one.

But the friendlier they become, the more difficult it may be for them to keep their interactions strictly platonic.

It's also worth mentioning that even though the main character isn't a POC,

he does have British-Pakastani love interest.

This book brought me so much joy.

Can we just talk about how *vital* it is to have a story that shows queer athletes in safe spaces?

I love sports, but it's so hard for me to reconcile my love of sports

with the crappiness of sports culture and spaces.

It's like the last frontier; sports is this hugely public thing that's openly and blatantly binary, sexist,

heteronormative, and typically homophobic.

There's still so many queer athletes out there who maybe don't feel safe or don't feel like they have a place

—or maybe they can't even compete.

And then this story steps in and says, "Hey, it *is* possible to cultivate safe spaces."

Everyone on this team is queer in some way, and it's a non-issue.

It's so great to read about a team that doesn't celebrate toxic masculinity,

a team where everyone is supported and uplifted. It's a really beautiful brotherhood.

And there's commentary on young men struggling with body issues and trying to fit a certain beauty image,

about bullying *within* sports, about how to reconcile that no matter how much you love the game

the world doesn't begin and end with sports.

And this story just satisfies on so many levels. There's training sequences, scrimmages, camp shenanigans,

weekend adventures, delicious flirtation, and so many sexy times.

And, about the steaminess, I think there is a kind of empowerment in that for Sebastian.

Because he doesn't really know what he wants to do in life or what he should do after high school,

but damn it, he knows exactly what he wants and *who* he wants right now in this moment.

And he's gonna see that through no matter what.

I just love this. There were times where I had physically step away from this book because my face hurt

from smiling too much, and that's the highest compliment I can give.

I gave this gem four and half stars.

Then I finally read the "The Prince and the Dressmaker" by Jen Wang.

This is an all-ages queer graphic novel about Prince Sebastian,

whose parents want him to start seriously thinking about choosing a future wife.

But the only thing he's concerned with is his secret nighttime life where he dons bold, daring dresses

and transforms into Lady Crystallia, the hottest fashion icon in Paris.

He takes on a new seamstress, Frances, who also an incredibly talented designer

who agrees to design all of his dresses, and she is the only person who knows the truth.

But how long can they keep this secret from breaking the surface?

Not only is this a beautiful exploration of friendship, not only do we get a wonderful genderfluid character

in Sebastian, but there's a lot of rich emotional parallels between Sebastian and Frances.

Both of them are in this place where there's something they've been waiting to share with the world.

They're ready to put themselves out there and be *seen.*

But it's also painful for them because the way they express themselves comes with conditions and limits,

and the story is really about them trying to break past all of that.

It, again, is about the importance of feeling safe and feeling accepted, being seen for *everything* you are

and the incredible things that can come from that.

This is definitely a work infused with queer upliftance, and it brought me so much happiness. Five stars!

After that, I had a life-changing experience when I read "Peter Darling" by Austin Chant.

This is an #ownvoices retelling of Peter Pan where Peter is queer and trans.

In this version, Peter decides to leave Neverland and return to his family to live as Wendy [Darling],

but then he realizes he's not safe there and that he needs to live as his true self.

So he returns to Neverland, but when he does, everything is different.

The Lost Boys don't recognize him since he's gotten older, and they've taken on a new leader in his absence.

Plus Peter's return means stirring up bad blood between the Lost Boys and the pirates.

And as an old war reignites, Peter also has to deal with possible budding feelings

for his life-long rival, Captain James Hook.

I've always had a fascination with Peter Pan, and I just feel this twist on the story

was like so many puzzle pieces *finally* locking in place.

This version finally supplies Peter with a reason for that manic energy that's his trademark.

He's always been charming, enticing, charismatic, relentless, manipulative, gleefully cruel,

he has dramatic highs and lows, but we've never known WHY.

Here we have an answer: trauma, fear, desperation for distraction.

He purposefully seeks impossible, dangerous situations so he can feel powerful and in control

when he finds a way to make it out safe.

Peter is running from his past, and running at breakneck speed is the fastest way to get away.

Recklessness is just a byproduct.

Another part of that is posturing, and how playing into masculine roles

(which are often toxic) is a largely performative act.

Part of Peter's obsession with fighting and getting himself into trouble is due to him overcompensating

in order for him to "pass" as a man in his own mind, and the story comments on that.

And the story also shows, through both Peter and James,

that there's more than one valid way to process trauma.

You can be in a place where you want to move on and completely separate that part of your life, OR you can be

in a place where you say "I don't want to forget that this experience made me who I am." Neither process is less.

There's *so much* to discuss, like how the story beautifully handles trans bodies and disabled bodies,

how powerful the romance is, how the adventures and plot points we see in these pages are wholly original

while still being faithful to the source. But needless to say, this was a VERY clear five star book.

My poetry collection for June was "Don't Call Us Dead" by Danez Smith.

This is modern poetry that clearly outlines the effects of police brutality, systematic oppression,

and the deep-seeded effects of racism, specifically in black communities in the U.S.

Danez Smith is also queer, so this collection does dip into what it means to be black AND queer,

especially in modern times.

Danez Smith is an AMAZING talent.

I knew that going into this collection, but I was still blown away by their work.

They have a way of sharply bringing things into focus and forcing the audience to sit with unpleasant truths.

There are lines in here I *still* think about.

Like when the speaker says "do you know what it's like / to live on land who loves you back?"

When they talk about how black youth are actually safest when they're dead and buried,

because then at least they can no longer be hurt.

Or how once the kidnapping of one white woman started the Trojan war,

but when black people go missing, America stays silent.

There's sensuality, there's anger, there's passion, and beautiful verses that make you feel feather-light.

I cannot wait to read more from Danez Smith, and I gave this collection five stars.

The last novel I read in June was "Wild Beauty" by Anna-Marie McLemore.

This is #ownvoices queer Latinx magical realism about the Nomeolvides women, who have spent

generation after generation tending the grounds of this estate known as La Pradera.

Basically, they all contain this overwhelming magic that overflows from their bodies

as the creation of flowers and plants.

La Pradera is the safest place for them to exist without fear of discovery,

and they're also hiding a painful legacy: if they fall in love too deeply, their lovers vanish.

After generations of fear and vanishings, the earth suddenly surrenders a mysterious boy

for the Nomeolvides women to find among their flowers.

(Also, like all the women in this family are bisexual, which is fantastic.)

Anna-Marie McLemore's prose is *stunning.* It's gorgeous, lush, rich, engaging, enticing—but it's not

just pretty for the sake of being pretty. There's so much substance.

This author has talked so much about how magical realism has a singular Latinx history,

and how it's really about living in a culture of oppression where magic is a means of survival or hope.

Those ties are definitely present in this story that comments on the treatment of immigrants,

their erasure, and how Latinx communities are in some ways complicit with burying our own history

and our own trauma, whether we realize it or not.

But I also think the story speaks to Latinx youth accepting a sense of worth

that's been outlined or predetermined by someone else

All of the Nomeolvides girls blindly accept this legacy of suffering and pain

that's been handed down through generations.

They believe their very existence is a curse or a punishment for being too "greedy" in the way they love.

And that's how they've been taught to believe.

So they've never even *considered* that the very earth is trying to tell them something MORE about themselves.

I fell in love with this book. I can't wait to own it, and re-read it, and annotate it properly,

because there's so much to think about. And that's why I gave it five stars.

So those are all the books I read in the month of June. If you've read any of them yourself,

I would love to know your thoughts in the comments.

But that's everything I had for this wrap-up today. Thank you so much for watching this video.

I really hope that you enjoyed it, and I will catch YOU on the flip-side of the page.

Bye!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry: Everything the royal couple have said about having babies - Duration: 3:43.

Just two months after the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the nation are awaiting the day Kensington Palace announce the former actress' first pregnancy

However, we shouldn't expect to hear anything too soon as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's schedule is jam packed with royal engagements

In the meantime, the newlyweds have been meeting hordes of well wishers and royal fans across the country as they embark on a series of official outings

One recent event saw the couple get playful with a little boy who was trying to touch Meghan's luscious locks, leaving us all cooing over the adorable moment between the husband and wife

As we await the news we're all hoping for later this year, here are all the heartwarming things the couple have said about having babies

They definitely want babies  During Telegraph's Mad World podcast, Prince Harry said: "I, of course, I would love to have kids

I'm a godfather to quite a few of my friends' children." How many children Prince Harry wants  While Meghan and Harry have admitted they want children, they haven't specified how many

However, we can rule out that they'll have more than four, after Harry spoke to a couple during their Ireland visit

According to People, a well-wisher said to Harry: "My husband also has red hair and he gave me five children — when are you and Meghan going to get going?"  And Harry is said to have laughed when he replied: "Five children? — too many

" Browsing baby products  It seems the couple are already familiar with what babies and toddlers require, no doubt because they've seen Prince William and Kate Middleton at home with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis

During a visit to Belfast in March, the couple showed interest in some baby products and when they were shown a baby bath tub Prince Harry immediately understood what the bump in the middle was for

He said: "Oh, non-slip" as he examined the tub. Future plans revealed in engagement interview  When they announced their engagement in November last year, they were asked about the possibility of starting a family

"Of course," Harry responded. "You know, one step at a time. Hopefully we'll start a family in the near future

" Meghan can't wait to start a family  When Meghan was interviewed by Best Health magazine in 2016, she revealed what was on her bucket list

"I want to travel more and I can't wait to start a family, but in due time," she said  She also said to Lifestyle magazine in 2015: "It's all about balance, and I have so much happiness in my career and am fortunate to travel the world and see so many amazing things

"It will also be nice to be anchored to something grounded and in the same place

Raising a family will be a wonderful part of that."

r/nosleep: My girlfriend talks in her sleep She's been saying the most horrible things recently...

Utterly...

Infatuated.

Vova Minenko is the main figure behind the interview today,

because he's the only one left on the bootcamp while he waits for his teammates!

Vova, have you missed me?

Missed you? - Yeah. - Not really, We've just seen each other recently.

Come on, we haven't seen each other since you went on a vacation with the team after filming your last interview!

Tell us where did you go and what did you do there?

Well, we went to Sochi,

It happened like that: I just asked Solo what he was up to,

and he said he was planning to go to the World Cup and had some spare tickets, so we could join him if we wanted to.

I asked Ramzes, he agreed, and we went to the World Cup.

Then RodjER and his girlfriend also joined us,

but they didn't have tickets, so the first day we arrived...

We simply chilled and chatted. On the second day, we visited the amusement park - it was awesome, really recommend it!

What did you like the most about the park?

I have a top-3 of rollercoasters in mind, but it's hard to choose the definite best.

A purple one which name I don't remember, Zmei Gorynich one, and another which also launched you high up in the air. Zmei Gorynich was the best one, I think, because you feel like you're about to go airborne if you're riding it on the front seat.

Let's go, hurry! - Let's wait for Vova!

So, are we going? - What about Vova? - He's always too slow, we have enough time for one ride!

The purple rollercoaster's top speed was 130 km/h, and the last one also launched you 100m into the air.

And nobody chickened out?

Naturally! - Cool!

Truth be told, we were ready for much more, and that was just a warm-up compared to it, so to say.

C'mon, tell us more... - Patience!

Then we went to see the World Cup - the Germany-Sweden super-match.

That day was overflowing with emotions.

The next day, we decided to visit the Skypark.

Hold on, tell me more about the match. Who did you root for, and why?

I'm not a big football fan, but i cheered on Germany.

Yeah...

I'm a bit of a gloryhunter, and I really like their ball-play synergy.

Watching them play is simply aesthetically pleasing.

What was the coolest thing about the atmosphere? What impressed you the most about the stadium?

There were three things I remembered the most:

when the Swedish fans started chanting around the 8-minute mark,

I peeked at the German side only to see a single flag. But in a blink of an eye, it was entirely covered with flags - everyone started waving them!

Then they stretched out a shirt to cover the entirety of that huge field - that was the Germans.

The fans were also really awesome.

And, finally, the moment at the 94th minute - the game was about to end, the final freekick - and Kroos scores!

That was awesome. Solo wanted to leave earlier, saying that nothing else was going to happen, but I was sure of the opposite and stopped him.

Cool. Have you ever been at the stadium before?

No, not a single time in my life.

It was a great experience, I loved it. We also had very nice seats - right in the middle, so we could see the field perfectly.

That's wicked!

So you were saying about the next day...

The next day we went to skypark - drove there, rather.

There were tons of attractions there, and we visited almost all of them, but the most vivid one is, obviously, bungee.

And we all jumped with it!

How high is it?

207 m!

What was the scariest part of the ordeal to you - the jump itself or...? How did it happen, actually?

Did you a have a briefing before jumping?

Of course, but that was fairly straightforward - all you have to do is jump and then unhook the rope when you "land", so you don't get stuck hanging there like a fish.

The scariest part was, probably...

walking the bridge for the first time. After that, even bungee isn't that [frightening]... If you're ready, you'll make the jump.

Of course, it is scary, but...

But when you stand on such a hanging bridge for the first time in your life - especially when there's nothing to hold on to...

Arriving there, standing on the edge without holding onto the handrail while looking down - it definitely makes you feel uneasy, especially if you're afraid of heights.

What's it like compared to a wind tunnel? Now you have a reference point!

Wind tunnel is just a child's play, right?

Obviously! It's nothing compared to that, just pre-school level.

Whose idea was to jump from that... thing?

I'm not sure, I think they both had a say in that - Solo and Ramzes. They kept joking about and... it ended up like this.

And who jumped first?

Solo. He was chosen by a lot - and he called it from the very beginning!

So you drew lots, yeah? - Not really... Well, maybe, so to say. The insider-team stuff, you know.

Damn, awesome!

So, what do you feel while free-flying?

Well, first of all, you're in the air for about 7 seconds, but the speed is too great for you to figure out anything.

The instructor tells you not to look down, but that's the first thing you do - and then you realize...

This is fine.

Then he counts down - 5-4-3-2-1, and you have to jump quickly!

Here we go! Keep looking in front of you!

5! 4! 3! 2! 1! JUMP!

Can you compare this feeling to something you felt in your life - maybe you've felt something close to it in-game?

Maybe it's like that feeling when you enter the stage. During The International, I felt something slightly similar before the match against LFY.

Because I felt unease... and anticipation. It is a very interesting mixture of feelings.

Last year you were preparing in Moscow, but followed the US time. This time around you'll go to Canada immediately.

What do you personally think - which way is better for you?

Well, I don't really know. It depends. It's impossible to tell what's better right now.

You can't really predict the future. All you can do is assume - last year that and that happened, and this year, things may change.

And what are the obvious benefits of practicing in Canada?

The other teams. - Teams? - Yeah, we want to go there precisely because of the other teams.

To practice with stronger opponents.

And do you already know which other key teams will also be practicing in Canada?

Yeah.

Lil has been posting a lot of entertaining stuff on his Twitter for the last couple of days - some insider things, a massive challenge...

Maybe you can also recall some funny insider stuff about the team?

Well, we have some rituals - they're not really rituals, I'm just calling them that so people can roughly understand what I mean.

Sometimes we watch short videos from a certain VK page - Ramzes has always loved it, so we watch, discuss, and laugh about it together.

I won't tell what it is exactly, though!

I think I can even add to that - this VK group has terrible videos, but they're great for relieving stress before the games - just by watching them for 5 minutes!

They're hilarious. - Yeah, the guys watch them till their cry from laughter, and then they play!

Yeah.

That's a nice insider stuff, thank you!

We're on the brink of the season's, year's greatest championship - and everyone keeps talking about it!

I have one little request for you - maybe you can say what's the best way for your and Virtus.pro's fans to support you all?

What do you enjoy seeing and reading the most? What's the best thing the fans can do?

Just keep rooting for us! That's it! We demand nothing from you - we're just thankful you're here!

Thank you! We're all thankful you agreed to make another interview for YouTube!

I think you're already used to it!

It's just that there's no one at the bootcamp yet, and I was forced to do this.

Thank you, Vova! I'll be back in a week!

Welcome!

✅ Chajzer ma nowy pomysł na biznes: "Myślę o wypuszczeniu własnego proszku do prania!" - Duration: 3:49.

Kilka dni temu zakończyła się ważna epoka w historii reklamy. Zygmunt Chajzer, po 14 latach bycia "twarzą" proszku do prania stracił kontrakt, a jego miejsce zajęła Anna Starmach

Producenci Vizira stwierdzili najwyraźniej, że młoda i lubiana jurorka Masterchefa skuteczniej zachęci klientów do kupowania detergentu

Firma planuje wykorzystać w nowych reklamach tematykę gotowania, bo - jak tłumaczy - ta pasja generuje sporo plam.  Zobacz: Anna Starmach zastąpiła Zygmunta Chajzera w reklamie proszku do prania!

Proszki do prania Chajzera. Prawda, że chwytliwe? - pyta dziennikarza.  Kupilibyście proszek od Zygmunta?   fot. ONS fot

GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS — OFFICIAL TRAILER #1 (2019) - Duration: 11:23.

Hello dear subscribers and guests of my channel! Today we have a very interesting video, because we will talk not only about the sequel of Godzilla itself, but also about the future, I'm sure many of the expected Godzilla's film against Kong, we'll also touch on the topic of the Pacific Rim and the possible appearance of the Jaegers in this universe of big monsters. Let's start ...

Let's start about the fact that this is a new universe, it is referred to roughly as the Universe of Monsters. This is common, now every second Hollywood studio has its own universe, we will be happy and the Universe of Monsters. In Japan, films about these creatures have developed into a whole genre that has existed for sixty years. Almost all of these monsters are Kaiju.

With the release of the "Pacific Rim" a lot of people first learned this word but remembered that they are called giant monsters. This is not entirely true. Kaiju in Japanese means "strange beast" - Ninja Turtle, if you like, also Kaiju. It is more correct to call huge monsters diKaiju - "big strange beast".

Godzilla, by right can be considered the brightest representative of their species. The second part of the huge lizard will be the third film of this universe, the first two were Kong: Skull Island, and the first part of Godzilla 2014, which actually laid the foundation for the universe. We will return to this topic ...

As for Godzilla, his story includes about 30 films, the first of which was back in 1954. The first attempt of Hollywood to film Godzilla in 1998 can be considered unsuccessful, followed by the restart of 2014. Compared with him, the future tape replaced the director.

This is actually good, because many were dissatisfied with the movie, agree. In the tape, everything is dim and dark, and Godzilla himself was not shown to us, his screen time was only 11 minutes. It was the restart of the franchise about Godzilla without Godzilla. Having 160 million dollars. budget, it was possible to withdraw and for better.

However, the new director was Michael Daugherty and this is a dubious choice, because we know it only by Krampus 2015, and this film is not very. So it remains only to cross your fingers and hope. At the moment, the sequel shootings are completed and now the film is in the post production stage, with an indicative release date of March 21, 2019.

In the film, we will be told about the heroic efforts of the cryptozoological agency Monarch. This is a kind of secret organization that will be for this universe, something like "S.H.I.E.L.D." for the Marvel universe. This structure is engaged in tracking giant monsters, the existence of which people do not even guess.

In "Skull Island" by the way, this organization is represented by the character of John Goodman Bill Randa. In the early seventies, the "Monarch" was going through hard times: it had to prove that the huge monsters were not an "imaginary threat", and it was only after the events of the first Godzilla film that the US army took control of this structure.

The action will unfold a few years after the events of the first part and this time against the mighty Godzilla are Rodan, Motra, and the ultimate Kaiju - the three-headed monster King Ghidorah.

The scene after the titles of Skull Island has made it clear to us that there are many more such islands where uncharted monsters live. It's such a simple, but good way to at least somehow explain, from where all these creatures are taken. In the same place we were shown this troyce.

Rodan is one of Godzilla's most famous enemies. This giant pteranodon is black. He attacks Godzilla like a bird of prey - he bites his head and beats his wings. During the flight, it can create destructive supersonic waves, and in some cases even got the ability to release a heat ray from the mouth, like Godzilla.

Motra is a giant insect-like creature resembling a butterfly, characterizes as the keeper of the planet Earth. Its wings create air currents that can blow off cars and roofs of houses, and if the original title of the sequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Motra, in turn, was nicknamed "Queen of Monsters."

King Ghidorah - perhaps the most famous rival of Godzilla and one of the strongest existing Kaiju. He has three heads on very long necks, huge wings like a bat and two spiked tails, and his body is completely covered with scales.

Under certain circumstances, it is able to form a special barrier that protects from any damage, and when a large amount of energy is absorbed around the monster, a gold shield appears that easily reflects Godzilla's atomic breathing.

However, his most famous ability: lightning-like, golden-colored gravitational rays that the monster exhales from its mouths, this ability is almost comparable to Godzilla's atomic breathing, but it covers a much larger area and can attack several large targets at once. The regenerative abilities of a creature that allow it to recover itself after death, from a tiny fragment of the body, are also striking.

Funny that often, he was portrayed as a real evil demon from a distant cosmos. Some alien dragon completely destroyed a large number of planets with intelligent civilizations in different galaxies. He already destroyed the civilization of Venus (or Mars in the American version), and sought to destroy the earth as long as Godzilla and the rest of the monsters did not stop him.

So, for example, in one of the versions it was the appearance of King Ghidorah that caused the disappearance of dinosaurs. You might think that for the nonsense, but who knows that writers will come up with, everything can be. I also would like very much to compare the sizes of these monsters, however at different times their size changed.

For example, the sizes of Rodan vary from 50 to 100 meters in height, Mothra to 80 with a wingspan of 250 meters, King Ghidorah up to 150 meters. It is worth noting that Godzilla in 2014, the largest ever submitted.

Its height is almost 110 meters and weight is 90 thousand tons. However, despite this, a question involuntarily arises. How Godzilla will cope with three rivals at once, if the same King Ghidorah is not inferior to him in strength, not to mention the fact that all three are able to fly.

From the description of Mothra you might have noticed that this is not so a negative character and as a result she can take Godzilla's side in the battle with Rodon and Ghidorah. It is also worth noting that the ability to fly most monsters can ultimately give us incredibly spectacular air battles, at least I really hope so.

As for the crossover with the Pacific Rim. His idea is not new at all, for example, in 1966, the story of an ordinary guy who got a symbiotic suit from space came out on television. In moments of danger, he could turn into a giant combat robot - Ultramen, and fight with the diKaiju, looks like the Jaeger from the Pacific Rim.

So the director of the second part of Pacific Rim: Uprising Stephen DeNight said something like that, I quote: "I will not say that there are hidden tips in the film, but there was already a lot of talk about the crossover.

I believe that it would be incredibly cool and in some ways even intelligently combine the "Pacific Rim" and the Universe of Monsters. This is even in our general plans for the third film. So far, of course, nothing concrete, just an idea. But I, as a fan, would gladly have looked at this meeting. "

I personally think that all this will look very cool, but whether the move to this step of the studio will in many respects depend on how Godzilla himself will demonstrate against Kong. The failure or success of the movie, either slow down or accelerate the development of the Universe.

Regarding this crossover, the two greatest filmmakers simply could not help coming together in a fight. The first film "King Kong vs. Godzilla" was filmed in 1962, then we did not know who is stronger. It is worth noting that this film is still the most commercially successful Japanese film about Godzilla.

However, the new film has many questions, for example, in the very first part of King Kong, the monkey reached only 7.5 meters in height. And although with each new film its dimensions grew, reaching 31 meters in Kong: Skull Island, this is still not enough to grasp with Godzilla and her 110 meters. It is likely that Kong will grow up: for example, in the Japanese version it reached 45 meters.

The question remains about the motivation of the monsters, as the new films imply that both Godzilla and Kong are positive characters, defenders of our world, so there must be a good reason for their battle. Let me remind you that the release of Godzilla vs. Kong is scheduled for May 21, 2020, the budget will be 200 million, and the director will be Adam Wingard, the last work of which is Death Note, not very ...

Returning to the sequel to Godzilla, you should also mention the actor's cast. In addition to the fact that Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe return to their roles, the second part also acquired new faces. Cast add to the star of The Conjuring Vera Farmiga, Millie Brown, familiar to us on the series "Stranger Things" will play the role of her daughter, and Kyle Chandler the role of the girl's father.

Apparently the character Milly has a significant role, maybe she can telepathically communicate with Motra, in the original source, Motra always had companions people, the so-called fairies who understood the language of monsters.

Among the notable persons in the tape one of the most popular Asian actresses Zhang Ziyi, Bradley Whitford and Charles Dance also appears. In many ways, the aforementioned actors play a variety of scientists, so there is a hope that in this movie for monsters will be taken much more screen time, at least the creators of the film promise it.

And in the end I would like to add, you know on the one hand you might think: Well, what can be of interest to us and surprise this universe. Well, every new movie will be shoved down by different monsters, but this will eventually get bored ... but it's not entirely true. This universe is very flexible and diverse, despite the fact that its basis is the battle of big monsters, it also has attention:

interplanetary flights, alien lynxes, teleportation and even travel in time. So, with the right approach, it will surprise us, than, the creativity of the universe of monsters certainly do not hold. So personally I will never miss a new tape about Godzilla and I will go to the cinema, and you?

I hope you liked the video, put a husky, subscribe, leave comments. Good luck...
