Freddie Mercury Inspirational Video - The Power of Confidence, and the Perseverance to Succeed - Duration: 7:59.
Hi, I'm Olivia, and today's Happy Nugget! comes from Freddie Mercury, the extraordinary
British singer, songwriter and frontman of the legendary British rock band Queen,
one of the greatest bands of all time, selling between 150 to 300 million records worldwide.
Queen has given us some of the most incredible songs, classic music videos, and live performances.
Their powerful lyrics and harmonies have become part of the fabric of our culture with hits
like "We Will Rock You," "We are the Champions," "Another one Bites the Dust,"
"I Want to Break Free," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," "A Kind of Magic."
and the brilliant "Bohemian Rhapsody," written by Freddie Mercury, one of the greatest
songs ever written and performed, and my personal favorite, also written by Mercury
"Don't Stop Me Now."
Just after the release of Queen's third album "Sheer Heart Attack" in an interview
in 1974 speaking on Queen's aspirations, Freddie Mercury said, "That's it.
The whole group aimed for the top slot.
We're not going to be content with anything less.
That's what we're striving for.
It's good to be there.
I definitely know we've got it in the music, we're original enough…and, now we're
proving it…You have to have confidence in this business.
It's useless saying you don't need it.
If you start saying to yourself 'Maybe I'm not good enough, maybe I'd better settle
for second place,' it's not good.
If you like the icing on the top, you've got to have confidence."
Freddie Mercury was born Farrokh Bulsara in 1946 in the Sultanate of Zanzibar,
present day Tanzania, but from an early age his school mates called him Freddie.
As a young boy his family moved to India, and when Freddie was seven he was sent to
boarding school.
The eclectic culture of Bombay and his parent's preference for classical music and opera influenced
his early development.
Freddie was mad about music, learning to play the piano and longing to perform in school
functions.
When he was a teenager, his family moved to England where Freddie experienced bigotry,
ridicule, and bullying but he fought back and the more extroverted Freddie became publicly,
the more he developed a sensitivity and a need for internal privacy.
Freddie was determined to pursue a life in music.
He convinced his parents to let him go to art school in 1966 when he was 20 years old.
In 1969 Freddie was eager to join a band when he met future Queen drummer Roger Taylor and
guitarist Brian May who had started a band called "Smile."
Freddie became friends with the band desperate to become a member of Smile, but he couldn't
get into the band, so he attended their rehearsals and performances patiently waiting for an opportunity
Eventually Freddie joined a different band, but in 1970 when Smile lost a band member
Roger Taylor and Brian May were ready to join forces with Freddie who had always had an
instinct to sing with them and who always knew what he wanted.
Freddie was incredibly driven and determined to succeed.
He adopted the stage name Mercury.
In Roman mythology, Mercury was the messenger of the gods.
It was Mercury's idea to rename the band Queen.
At the time a very controversial name, but Freddie was always planning and had a keen
understanding of the importance of making an impact.
From the start he demanded professionalism and creative flare in every aspect of the
band.
He was exacting and adamant about giving nothing but his best to the music, inspiring his band
members to give the best of themselves.
After a string of bass players, in 1971 John Deacon joined Queen to become the band we
know today.
For four years they struggled and hustled to make end's meet, but it was always about
the music.
While some band members were pursuing and education, Freddie and Roger Taylor sold clothes
in a stall in Kensington Market.
Freddie also did fashion drawings for newspaper advertisements to survive, but through it
all, disappointment after disappointment they never stopped believing in themselves.
Each band member had an extraordinary sense of confidence that it was only a matter of
time before they made it.
That all they had to do was keep making their music.
Before Queen played iconic live shows in front of sold out audiences in the world's largest
stages, Freddie Mercury performed with the same fire in his heart in town halls, colleges,
pubs and empty recording studios.
No matter who was watching or who wasn't, Mercury gave everything he had to give, not
only because he believed opportunity might knock on Queen's door at any moment,
but also because that's who he was.
In an interview in 1974 speaking on Queen's success, Freddie Mercury said, "Believe
it or not—it was spontaneous!
It grew and grew, and remember, we had all been in various bands before, so we had plenty
of experience of what not to do, and not be flabbergasted by the first rosy offer.
That's how much planning went into it.
This isn't overnight success you know, we've been going for four years!
We just got the right people to work for us, and the right company, and it's taken a long time."
A month later, on the subject of being labeled a superstar, Freddie Mercury said, "Honestly,
labels like that are touch and go with us.
We've been labeled so many different things and labels are as bad as they are good.
If you took labels seriously you'd be very silly.
We were labeled 'hype' in the early days.
We took offense, but we didn't take it seriously because we knew what we were about."
Queen's path to success was long and rocky, and where many would have quit, they persevered.
Freddie was relentless and each band member refused to give up their dreams.
Queen's music is an unforgettable experience.
Freddie Mercury will always be remembered and loved for his magnificent vocal range,
his sophisticated understanding of harmonic structure, his visionary lyrics and, of course,
his extravagant flare and stage presence.
A musical genius like Mercury is a gift to the world.
A messenger of the Gods he became, and his message was not to let anything stop you in
the pursuit of your dreams.
To succeed, to reach your dreams, first and above all, you have to believe in yourself.
You have to walk forward day after day, moment after moment and recognize that everything
you do, that every experience you have will eventually lead you to the vision
you have of yourself.
Don't ever let a label define you.
Reach within yourself for the unique creativity and genius only you can achieve.
And that's today's Happy Nugget!

more important?
Real quick before we get going make sure to subscribe to the channel.
We drop a video Every Monday and Thursday on
Making More Money Saving More Money and building a better you.
So I guess you could say today I want to talk about building a better you.
With that being said let's talk about Wealth, Health, Love or Happiness what's more important?
I'm only going by my own experiences but I've realized in my 38 years on this
earth that love
and happiness is more important then wealth but..... in my humble opinion
You have to go after wealth first.
I know it sounds counter productive but hear me out.
Being financially struggling will never lead you
to love and happiness in my opinion.
When I was broke and wasn't able to afford much
I wasn't able to focus on anything but getting myself together where
I could at-least take care of me and my personal needs.
With that being said I wouldn't be able to take care of anyone else if I'm broke right.
Now obviously people do things backwards Like building relationships and starting a
family before they are financially capable of holding
down all their initial bills.
This causes conflicts and unnecessary stresses on you and your loved ones.
Believe me because this was what I did and it wasn't fun at all
So yes Love Happiness
and your over all health are more important then chasing money
but without being at-least financially stable all those other things you want out of life
will be hard to attain.
If your
struggling right now I just want you to know there is a better way.
I want

Story On A Paddle: Truth - author Ivana Dimić (S02E02) - Duration: 6:57.
What Do You Want

Story On A Paddle
Truth
It's a wonderful day on the river and I will tell you a story, if I can,
about a man who was seeking the truth.
When a man finds himself on the river, he comes closer to his essence,
his true identity,
and then he starts thinking about this essence, what it is all about.
All those pressures vanish: haste, nervousness, city throng...
and man comes to his senses, wherever he may be.
And so, this is a story about a man who decided to seek the truth.
He thought first: Well, where can one find the truth?
In the science.
He went to ask the scientists - do they know what the truth is?
He started from the meaning of the word "truth": the truth is always the same.
The scientists said: - Of course, we know what the truth is.
We'll explain it to you, the truth is in the science.
Science understands everything, it can explain everything,
and the truth is reached through scientific discoveries.
And then the man listened to what scientists were saying.
While listening he understood that, despite many scientific accomplishments,
some questions remain unanswered.
No answer on the genesis of the world, how humans emerged, in fact,
for many questions the scientists have no answer.
Then, this man decided to talk to the sages.
So he went to the philosophers to ask whether they know what the truth is.
They said: "Of course we know. The truth is in wisdom."
They began telling him about a philosopher who said this is how to get to the truth,
then about another one who explained a different way.
So he listened to them, and listened, but somehow,
they served him with different truths and he was not sure where this one truth was,
which is always the same?
They said: "Well, Heraclitus said you can't step twice in the same river,
because it flows.
So, you cannot catch something unique that is always the same,
unless it is change itself.
Yet, a man's life passes while searching for truth.
Then he went to a priest, and asked whether they know what the truth is?
And the priest said: "God is the truth,
but it can not be understood by reason, you have to believe.
It is a matter of the heart."
He wanted to know, to be told in plain words, explained to him,
so he can finally realize the truth.
At the end, he sat down in a boat, paddled to the middle of the river
and began looking into the water, hoping to realize where it is and
what this truth is, what it is all about?
He spent his whole life seeking the truth and did not manage to find it.
At that moment, boatman passed by, one of the people living on the river.
A man in his boat stopped him and said: "Please stop, stop! I need to ask you
something terribly important."
The boatman came closer with his boat and said, "Speak, what do you want?"
And he said: "I've been looking for the truth my whole life. And I just could not..
I do not understand. Tell me, where is the truth?"
A boatman turned like this and said: "There!"

Story on a Paddle: At the Water's Edge - author Mihajlo Pantić (S02E01) - Duration: 7:49.
What Do You Want
The river Sava, Belgrade, Serbia
Story On A Paddle
At The Water's Edge
When I was a child, books were bought in bulk.
Those were sets of collected works.
I remember some writers that exist today only in the crosswords,
for example Louis Bromfield or Archibald Cronin,
Leonid Leonov who might still be remembered by some, Pearl Buck, of course...
It all filled the shelves and there was one set of a Hungarian writer Lajos Zilahy.
He had a novel with the title "Water is Carrying Something."
It could be, let's say, the beginning of my story, water carries something...
I lived my whole life next to two major rivers,
actually I live on the Danube.
Somewhere I have already said that even when the river isn't even mentioned
in my story, it flows through all my stories.
I am a fisherman, and willy-nilly sitting on the coast of the Danube
and looking at the water, I have to notice what all that the water carries.
Once I experienced something bordering fantastic.
I'm not sure how many years ago it happen, maybe it's not important.
It is important that it somehow settled within the story.
So, one morning I got out to the Danube to catch fish.
I do not really go fishing to hunt fish, but to hung out for a while
with the river, the clouds and the sky.
I sat on the bank, perhaps three hundred meters downstream
from the hotel Yugoslavia,
and, suddenly, as in a surrealist movie,
there, just next to me, it floated by,
carried by mighty river,
a drum set perched on a little stage!
A real set of drums.
I can even remember the brand of these drums.
I was surprised. Is this happening to me?
Yes, it was a set of drums.
Later, I got it how it came to this...
That was the time when there were no rafts in its present form,
rather they were improvised, patched,
made of the different elements and conduits.
There was probably a gig, a wedding, or something similar.
Likely someone lost the part of the raft where the drummer was sitting
and the river took it and brought the drum set past me.
Then once, after some time, reminiscing that event
and that miracle that can happen when you look at what the water carries,
I sat down and wrote a story titled "The Drummer",
with the feeling that it is a story someone gave to me.
It is not a story I have devised, but a story that happened to me
thanks to some higher coincidence, not to say providence.
It is about a man sitting on the shore, watching what the water carries,
and in one moment, among all these wonders that water can bring us,
it brings the set of drums.
It is not the end.
This story continues on an imaginative level.
Here I am, sitting in the boat and telling you this story.
It is titled "The importance of sitting in a boat."
A group of my peers from New Belgrade got together after many years over lunch.
They talked to each other about where their lives took them,
what they did, what the state of their marital or love is, relationships,
children, families...
One of them spent his entire lifetime on the river
and playing drums, but never in his life has he played in any band.
Rather, his biggest achievement was to install a set of drums
in a slightly wider boat than this one, to get lost in the rainforest
of the Great War Island and play for himself whatever rhythm comes to his mind.
While his friends reacted with a surprise, he said, "Say what you will,
but of all things I did in my life, sitting in a boat was the most important."
There is some truth in that.
Chekhov has a wonderful story titled "On the harmfulness of tobacco"
in which there is not a word about smoking and tobacco.
Well, my story tells us that among many things one can choose in life -
sitting in a boat is one of the most beautiful.

Marina i Wojciech Szczęscy – ekskluzywna ciążowa sesja pary. Zdjęcia
Ciążowa sesja Mariny Łuczenko i Wojciecha Szczęsnego.
Ciąża Mariny Łuczenko sprawiła, że fani skakali ze szczęścia.
Śliczna wokalistka i Wojciech Szczęsny długo skrywali tę wiadomość,
W obłędnej kreacji, w romantycznej scenerii i z ukochanym u boku.
Pozdrawiam Was, życzę szczęścia.
Pięknie wyglądałaś i nadal wyglądasz ! Zdrówka dla was obojga ! .
Nie sposób się nie zgodzić.
Ani z tym, że Marina wyglądała zjawiskowo, ani z tym, że kobiety są zdolne do niesamowitych rzeczy.

Australian General John Monash I WHO DID WHAT IN WW1 - Duration: 10:42.
He is regarded, and rightly so, as one of the ablest generals of the Great War, and
his leadership during that conflict earned his place as one of Australia's great national
heroes - John Monash.
I'm Indy Neidell; welcome to a Great War bio special about John Monash.
He was born June 27th, 1865, in Melbourne, Australia, the eldest of three children, but
the only boy, born to Louis and Bertha Monash.
His parents had only lived in Australia for two years when he was born; having both come
from what was then in the Kingdom of Prussia but what is today part of Poland.
They were Jewish and though German was the family language, they spoke fluent English
by the time John was born.
His German Jewish descent would occasionally haunt John Monash during his military career.
John was considered an intelligent child and began learning the piano at the age of five,
same as me.
After his basic education, he studied mathematics and engineering at the University of Melbourne.
There he had his first taste of the military, joining the militia, the university company
of the 4th Battalion Victoria Rifles.
After his mother died in 1885, he left university and got an engineering position on the construction
of the Princess Bridge, his first engineering commission, and his work there got him some
real plaudits.
He then resumed his university studies.
He took up debating and took a key role in school politics, learning much about organization
and leadership.
John also focused on the arts, regularly attending plays and even playing piano in a number of
stage productions, though he gave up his piano career in 1891, the same year he was married
to Hannah Ross, with whom he had one child, a daughter named Bertha.
He was still in the militia, having joined a gun battery as a Lieutenant in 1887, and
at this point it looked like he'd pursue a career as either engineer or soldier.
He very much enjoyed Military Theory, and also the status of his commission, though,
much higher than that of an engineer.
He lectured frequently on things like artillery, explosives, and practical mechanics both within
the militia and in public, and his expository ability won recognition.
By 1893 he was senior subaltern in the Garrison Artillery.
He was promoted to captain in 1895.
The next year he sat the examinations for major and was promoted in 1897 with command
of the North Melbourne Battery, which he was to retain for another 11 years.
He did not volunteer for and was not asked to take part in the Boer Wars.
Coastal artillerymen were irrelevant to that conflict and men of his age with family and
business responsibilities were hardly expected to go.
Moreover, his support for the wars was less than whole-hearted.
As for his business, in the mid 1890s he and a partner launched a private engineering practice,
and around the turn of the century he spent several years as an expert engineering witness
all over Australia.
His company failed in 1902, and after a few years of poverty, he joined a builder and
an industrial chemist in forming a construction company, and the following year the three
joined a businessman in forming the South Australia Reinforced Concrete Company.
He became a leader in the field.
In 1908, Monash was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and took command of the Victoria section
of the Australian Intelligence Corps of the militia.
Military mapping was the main task though there was also general intelligence gathering.
In 1913, he was appointed to command the 13th infantry brigade, now a Colonel, and his pamphlet,
"100 hints for company commanders", became an official document for basic training.
When this war did break out, Monash worked as a censor for four weeks before taking command
of the 4th Brigade of the Australian Imperial Force.
Now, this was an Australia-wide brigade that did basic training before shipping out December
22, 1914.
They arrived in Egypt at the end of January 1915 and would soon become part of Major General
Sir Alexander Godley's New Zealand and Australia Division.
This was the second division of the Australia and New Zealand Army Corps - ANZAC - under
Lieutenant-General Sir William Birdwood.
Monash's brigade was in reserve at the Gallipoli landings, hitting the beaches April 26th.
You can learn all about the action at Gallipoli in our regular episodes and specials about
it.
Monash was promoted to Brigadier General at a time when rumors were circulating in Cairo,
London, and Melbourne that he had been executed as a German spy and a traitor.
This was not the first time nor the last that such rumors reared their heads.
Anyhow, Gallipoli had given Monash a pretty hardcore, hands-on education in modern war.
Birdwood and Charles Bean, the war correspondent and Australia's official war historian,
gave the impression that his performance had been mediocre, but his brigade did perform
as well as any of the others.
Back in Egypt in January 1916, he re-trained his brigade, even while distressed by the
news of his wife's operation for cancer.
After two months in local defense east of the Suez Canal, his men were sent to France.
In July, he was promoted to Major General, commanding the new 3rd Division.
He trained them on the Salisbury Plain in England before returning to France as part
of Herbert Plumer's 2nd Army.
I've spoken of Plumer's skills before, so this was fairly fortunate for Monash.
His first major battle was at Messines, Plumer's masterpiece, and a few months later at Broodseinde,
Monash scored the greatest Australian victory yet.
They spent the winter quietly and saw little serious action in the initial phases of the
German Spring Offensives, the Kaiserschlacht.
On June 1st, 1918, Monash was promoted to Lieutenant-General and Corps Commander.
This, in spite of a campaign against him by Bean.
Bean did not like Monash's predilection for self-promotion, which really was a thing,
but Bean also didn't like him because of his Jewish background, even writing in his
diary, "We do not want Australia represented by men mainly because of the ability, natural
and inborn in Jews, to push themselves forward."
The 93 minutes of the Battle of Hamel in July 4th, 1918, have become renowned to many historians
as the first truly modern battle, with combined air, artillery, infantry, and armored operation.
This battle really cemented Monash's reputation as a brilliant large-scale commander and organizer.
He also often gets a lot of credit for inspiring the opening battle of the series of offensives
that led to the end of the war.
It's uncertain to me how much of the idea for the Battle of Amiens actually came from
him; it was certainly Sir Henry Rawlinson's overall plan.
At any rate, the battle was classic Monash organization, and on the 11th he and Canadian
Corps Commander Arthur Currie were at the center of congratulations at a meeting of
senior allied leaders.
The following day, he was knighted by King George V.
Over the next two months, Monash's ability as commander in open battle was proven repeatedly
in a series of victories, especially at Péronne.
By the time of the breaking of the Hindenburg Line, a less certain matter, Monash commanded
some 200,000 men, including Americans.
Postwar, the efficient repatriation of 160,000 Australian soldiers within 8 months was another
of his remarkable achievements, as he aggressively fought for and found ships for them, and compelled
his government to alter its initial policy of slow repatriation.
Monash did, perhaps, earn more than his fair share of fame, being fortunate enough to command
the force he did just when he took command, but his tasks in 1918 could hardly have been
better done.
He had a great administrative capacity, a strong intellect, and his forceful personality
and especially his articulateness made him an excellent natural leader, winning the undying
respect of virtually all of his peers.
His command philosophy emphasized comprehensive planning about all.
He believed in a fixed plan to the point that he would prefer to cancel an operation if
it could not be completed as devised.
His plans incorporated a series of battle conferences, which allowed him to work closely
with his staff, not just to cover details, but to facilitate knowledge of what was expected
right down the line.
His command philosophy, though, placed management before leadership, and he rarely visited the
front lines, commanding from his headquarters, leaving his trusted frontline commanders to
conduct the actual fighting.
"He saw his role as setting the conditions for battlefield success through his intellectual
approach to warfare."
(that PDF of Markus)
The psychological aspect of warfare was also important to him; for example, before Hamel
he embedded tanks with the infantry to overcome the distrust the infantry had of them because
of their earlier failures in action.
He held the view that war was a problem of engineering and mobilizing resources, much
like an industrial undertaking.
His administrative skills were such that Albert Jacka, who won Australia's first Victoria
Cross of the war, said of Monash, "...the men went into action knowing that, whatever
might be ahead, everything would be right behind them."
He eagerly used the newest innovations, and was really part of a new breed of scientific
generals.
His weaknesses, such as they were, were his hunger for status, and his habit of exaggerating
both his and his men's achievements.
Monash's homecoming to Australia was affected ruined by his wife's illness.
She died in February 1920.
He himself worked in several prominent civilian positions and also served as the Vice-Chancellor
of the University of Melbourne from 1923 until his death from a heart attack in October 1931.
Some 300,000 mourners came to pay their respects to their hero, whose tombstone simply bore
the words, "John Monash".

Man City transfer news: Sky Sports man reveals possible signing - 'I'm told they want him' - Duration: 3:02.
The Gabon international, 24, joined Southampton from Juventus last season and Sheth now understands he's wanted by Pep Guardiola
It comes after they missed out on Fred to Manchester United and Jorginho to Chelsea
"Back in January they were on the verge of signing Fred but then it looks like they switched attentions to Jorginho
Manchester United nipped in for Fred and Chelsea nipped in for Jorginho," Sheth said
"It's two players they wanted but two players that have escaped from City. "I think they will be looking in that holding midfield for a long-term replacement for Fernandinho perhaps, he's so crucial to the way they play
Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho slams Raheem Sterling for England display England ace John Stones makes World Cup mistake revelation "If Guardiola is there long term, he wants to play the same way and he will have to find an identical replacement for Fernandinho
"We are told Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina is on a list of their targets. Quite how high we don't know but he's someone who has interested them
" City have already started their transfer business after completing a club-record £60million move to sign Riyad Mahrez
Mahrez, 27, temporarily stopped training with Leicester after a move from the Foxes to City failed to materialise in January before finally getting it done
Sheth thinks the Algerian has signed to become a squad player at the Etihad. "I just think Pep Guardiola must have looked at last season
They were hunting four trophies until quite late in the season. Are City going to win the quadruple?" he told the Transfer Talk podcast
"They ended up with two - the League Cup and the Premier League - a fantastic season, 100 points
I wonder if he looked at it and thought to just get that bit further perhaps to get even further in the Champions League, perhaps to even challenge for the unprecedented quadruple, squad depth is what is needed
I wonder if he looked at it and thought 'extra depth'. "To add someone like Riyad Mahrez for extra depth in your squad shows how good you are
"A Man City reserve team could compete for the top four, I reckon."

business and now is the time you're focusing on your fitness. This message is
also for you if you are really focused and dedicated toward in your 20s in your
30s and you got away from it. Maybe you balanced out you became successful with
your family in your business and now is the time you want to get back at it. You
remember what it was like to be focused dedicated to the gym, to do all those
disciplines to follow through. It gave you a certain sense of confidence and
you want to get that back in this time in your life so a little bit over the
other business productive life this is the time your focus and your willpower
focus energy and time this is the time you want to master your fitness only
challenge is just can't get yourself motivated you can't get yourself to do
the things you know you should do to master your fitness and it's frustrating
alright in this video I'm gonna talk about your why why this may be the time
it's time to upgrade your why your reasons why this is so important to you
it's time to upgrade it's time to update it the same factors that got you so
motivated earlier in life or if this is the first time in your life that you
really want to get on your fitness and your giving your information your
strategies from those younger fitness professionals who don't have everything
going on like you do and you're trying to adopt those strategies can't kill
yourself motivates you do all those things well you may not have to and

that I have down below it's your opportunity to connect with me tell me
your story tell me where you are is this already resonating with you that you
have to get clear on why you're doing this

yourself motivated to do all the things you need to do well click that link
below feel like that questionnaire I'm gonna reach out to you by email some
guys I even give them a phone call - all right to help them get clear and get
focused all right so I'm gonna do one more set for you guys and then we're
gonna talk about why this is the time to upgrade your why update your why it's
the most important factor to get you to follow through
all right guys I'm so glad you are here today if you're new to this Facebook
page or you're this YouTube channel my name is Skip la Cour I'm a coach I'm a
speaker I'm an author I'm the creator of the man formation prevent personal
development specifically designed for men who want to become their best both
inside and outside of the gym confidence leadership to hit all of your goals in
life my obsession with personal development actually started 36 years
ago six years before I went on my bodybuilding and training journey I
specialize in helping busy productive men who are successful in era's their
life like their family their business and they want to reach that level of
success with their fitness this is the time of their life they're a little bit
older they don't have time to be going through all the different YouTube
channels the whole different Facebook all the different experts they want the
most effective and efficient strategies now and they're willing to hire the best
to help them get up to speed with their fitness and I really specialize in
helping those men a little bit older with busy productive life and today's
message is for you that sounds like you see this past weekend alone I have
probably talked to about 50 men again a little bit older this is the time they
want to focus and the reasons why they're doing this what I do is I help
them get clear on why it's so important why now is the time you're willing to
put aside some other things that were important to you now because if you're
going to be great at what you do you're gonna have to put a disproportionate
amount of willpower focus energy and time at least for a while until you get
it mastered now you can really shorten that process really alleviate yourself
of a lot of confusion frustration and overwhelmed by having a coach who's an
expert at working with your mindset and the most effective efficient strategies
you can alleviate all that willpower focus energy and time that frustration
confusion by hiring a coach and a lot of really smart driven ambitious men come
to me for that reason write your reason why is so important I'm talking all the
reasons why and two different scenarios right let's
talk about you if maybe you did this 20 years ago you're in your 20s maybe
you're early authorities and you did whatever it took
alright eeeh 8 6 8 times a day carried a water jug around you because
that's what the fitness experts told you to do right you stopped Nate you would
train six days a week a couple hours a day in the gym right you were committed
you were folks and that's why you were great all right you did whatever it took
but now you're at this fit is your life and you just know you can't do all that
stuff and you stop start and stop start you stop and start try to get all those
disciplines together all those meals all that timing all that food preparation
all that time in the gym but you've got a busy productive life you got a family
you got a business you just can't do it go for a couple weeks at best
it all starts falling apart and you're not doing anything anymore all right
think about what were your reasons why back then why were you so willing in
your 20s to DA David I cross every T go to all that effort maybe do a lot of
things that weren't necessary along with the things that were necessary but you
didn't care you did whatever it took your reasons why back then now I've
talked to a lot of men especially this past week and they would say I want to
get the girls well I believe that some level when I had this body it would give
me this sense of confidence right let me ask you a question you know bro to bro
now that we're a little bit older right you got a lot of confidence
you know maybe got the girls for putting all that effort in your physical body
but think about it did it live up to its promise did you gain all this confidence
did your life just go on autopilot for the rest of your life because you
achieve that goal that body that you want it you know the truth of the matter
it helped it helped a great deal and you see the younger guys going for it
believing that it was just going to totally change life and you remember
back then when you used to believe that too
look if abs and muscles were the key to making you happy in life all alone then
everybody who's fit would be the happiest person in the world and you
know some people would argue that's not even close to being the truth
and maybe you're a little bit older and you know that so you got to think this
older self now when you're thinking of all the reasons why you don't believe
that anymore you believe you need to be fit you need to be healthy but you don't
believe it's gonna just all by itself give you this sense of confidence as
change the world or make you totally happy that reason why that got you to
dot every I and cross every T back then even the stuff you didn't necessarily
need to do you willingly did it because you believed that was gonna make you
this confident and just make life so much he is the it didn't do that for you
all right so now here you are you already know that that reason why that
you had when you were twenty sin thirties you don't believe that anymore
you got to come up with new reasons why now maybe you weren't dedicating your
20s or 30s and that's when you became successful in your business or your
family now is the time you're a little bit older but you're getting your
information from all the fitness experts in their twenties who have that same
belief that this fitness doing whatever it takes
thousand crunches a day all right that's gonna give me ripped abs well you know
what the thousand crunches a day didn't do it your diet but they did the
thousand crunches and the diet and now they're all linked in together and they
don't want to separate the two they'll do whatever it takes six Mills eight
meals a day Karen we're on a water jug whatever it takes all the stuff that
really works and all the stuff that doesn't work they don't care they're
willing to do all because they believe it's gonna just turn their life around
and make this sense of confidence now we're a little bit old we know that's
not necessary again it's gonna help god bless everyone who believes that it's
gonna put them on their journey but you don't believe that and that's where
you're getting your information you don't know what to keep what's necessary
and what's not and you're trying to guess that all by yourself and some
you're eliminating things that maybe aren't important but you're also
eliminating things that are very important but you're trying to get the
whole thing right what's your reason why right you know I talked to man and I
can't believe health issues being thirty pounds away diabetes being pre-diabetic
they're living in that old mindset in it's like you got kids you got grandkids
you got to stay alive to take care of your family financially do you have
parents right now who didn't take care of themselves they were this thirty
pounds overweight and they didn't take care of it and now they're really
suffering they're older age and it's a financial burden
it's a family burden to take care of them and how long is this going to go on
training their savings because of their health right maybe you're a little bit
older you're seeing that in your parents and it's scaring the heck out of you
maybe this is the time you got to take care of yourself you're gonna be around
for your kids it's time to upgrade and update your reasons why and quit living
from the people who are doing this whole fitness thing that don't have your same
situation they don't have the same things that you're worried about it's
not going to apply to you there are more effective in efficient ways for you to
do this I want to help you do that once you fill out that questionnaire down
below look I was at fitness expert I did all those things and more I became a
6-time national champion drug-free bodybuilder right when I retired fifteen
years ago I went on a quest alright I know what I got how I'm very thankful I
know what it did for me I also know what it didn't do for me and how it cost me I
went on this what I call this man formation to balance out my life but I
still want to look great if you're new to the channel Here I am I'm a couple
weeks away from being 56 years old being in shape is very important to me but I
had to slowly start learning and start studying and start experimenting of all
those things that I tacked on to the effective strategies that were just
taking up unnecessary willpower focus energy and a time that kept me from
being successful in those other areas of life and that's what I can share with
you the best of both worlds the most effective and efficient strategies that
you need now with your busy schedule right the things you need and the things
you don't need you're not going to hear that so you're so you can actually get
started it's time to upgrade your reasons why to be really connected and
again guys pain pain staying away from pain is our biggest driving force we can
say all I want to help muscles I want to have great body
what is that pain what will happen to your health if you don't start taking
charge but you know that now you're going to the doctor now maybe you're a
little bit you start getting on medicines they're
telling you you're pre-diabetic or you know it here's a good thing about just
fully stepping into the pain guys it's not gonna last forever
that pain is gonna get you to actually follow through dot every I cross every T
and then you'll get it you'll get the psychology of achievement it won't be so
hard I'll just become you and then all this pain that you're facing head-on
it's not going to be painful anymore because you're that much bigger stronger
in Boulder alright so I want you to think about that you're no longer
younger man you don't have those same beliefs you don't have that false sense
of hope what these muscles will give to you for the rest of your life it's going
to help you need some of that now and you can't do all those strategies you
know that you've tried that that's why you stop and start or that's why you're
so hesitant to adopt all of them because you work so hard for that family you
work so hard for that business you're not gonna let it slip away you got to
keep that intact while you're having an amazing body I want to help you do that
fill out that question I can help you with your why again you know my passion
has been in personal development longer than it was in Fitness so I that's what
I do all day long I coach men just like you busy productive want it all in life

Take Care of Yourself | 🍞...Breadcrumbs with Tyler Harris - Duration: 1:01.
My husband has been having an affair. My husband was the chief of police in our
city. It became massive news. I just need some
advice I guess and a roundabout way of how to not just motivate myself but to
motivate the kids. I mean the first thing that I was thinking as you were talking
especially when you asked the first question which was kind of just
how do you stay strong? I think you need to give yourself a break. I mean I
sometimes you don't have to be strong yeah so I think there's certain there's
a certain element of being able to go through the pain.
You know who's who's taking care of you? I think the first and foremost should
get you you right now to take care of yourself.

MassMutual I Live Mutual I "Dreams" I Behind the Scenes - Duration: 1:18.
My name is Reema
as a mother of two kids, who also runs three companies.
And two of my companies are based internationally.
I actually have to travel quite a bit for my work.
Interdependence for me really means that,
you know what they say,
it takes a village to raise a kid, and for me it really does.
I have parents who allow me to do that,
I have a brother who supports me.
They believe in the American dream.
And they are the American dream.
If you think about it, my dad came to this country with seven dollars in his pocket.
And this is the story that I grew up listening to.
My parents work extremely hard, I grew up watching them work.
They are both doctors,
I remember my Saturday mornings would be,
and my brother and I would be in hospital sitting in coffee shops while they were doing rounds.
Yea, you know both my wife and I were very proud of her.
She was never interested in medicine,
and she always wanted to do something different.
And we let her do it, and we supported her.
And we are very proud to see her
excelling in whatever business she does.
I always say that they are much better influence on my kids than I am.
If I can pass on just a little bit of what they gave me,
I will consider that a huge success.

How do I finance my trip around the world? | My FIRST Q&A | Sofian Worldwide #55 - Duration: 12:04.
I'm still in Delhi.
I'm not out for two minutes and I'm sweating so much :D
I want to be honest with you.
I had never planned to make such a video, but at the same time it is
so cool to be able to make such a video at all :)
I've been on the road for over seven months now, and some of you have been
with me since then.
And at some point it started with people asking me questions about my
trip and everything I was doing.
And people are interested in how I came to be here now.
Honestly, sometimes I don't even know :D
And just so you know.
I only wear these sunglasses because it is so uncomfortable to film on the street here.
You just have to imagine this.
I walk around here with a camera that costs almost as much
as the average annual income of an Indian.
And you don't have to ask yourself, dude, what kind of camera does he have?
It' not really that cool, but the average income of an Indian
is about 1,500 euros a year, gross, which is really bad.
I thought I'd just walk with you around the neighborhood here
and answer some questions about myself and my trip, so I'd say
welcome to my first Q&A :)
Why am I actually putting my camera on a bench when I could sit on..
Among other people, I got a cool list from one of my viewers.
Eduard, if you're watching this, thank you for these questions.
Before I start with the question, something about me.
I am Sofian, for those who do not know me yet :)
I will soon be 28 and I would like to welcome you to my new life!
And if you haven't subscribed to my channel yet, then press Subscribe.
I would be very happy :D
Let's start with the first question, which is actually
the hardest to explain.
Was there a primary trigger that led you to the decision to leave the comfort
zone and discover the world?
Thank you Eduard for now.
I associate this with the question of dear Nasir.
When you see this.. #brolove
Hey Sofian! I would like to know what motivated you to start this journey?
Now, this is what you have to imagine.
There are basically many reasons, but with me it was like this, I don't know if you
are familiar with it, but somehow there was always something missing in my life.
I never really figured out what it was.
It was kind of a general dissatisfaction,
if you know what I mean?
It had nothing to do with work.
I loved my job.
Actually, everything in my life was fine, too.
It all started with me thinking about
starting with Work and Travel in Australia.
And I did a lot of research at that time on how I could do the whole thing and then finally
really do it.
But for some reason, I just didn't do it.
Well, I was basically about to do that four years ago, but let
me put it this way.
I guess I just didn't have the guts?
That's when it really started going relatively well in my job and
I think I just thought I should build a solid foundation first,
professionally, in my career, to be able to say, okay, I'm ready. I have
everything I need and can just get started.
Then this thought disappeared for a while,
but appeared again and again in steps.
When you've had a bad day.
You get the feeling, shit, how about just getting the fuck out of here.
Basically, the whole thing went on like this for almost four years.
The real trigger why this happened is actually a funny story.
I was about to give up all my savings for a really cool apartment.
That would have meant an amazing apartment, I would have furnished everything completely new and I
would have put all my savings into this apartment.
And I've already signed the contract and was actually
lmost ready to move in.
And for some reason, so for me it was like a kind of fate, I got
a call, and I was told that this apartment has water damage
and I couldn't be told when I could finally move into this apartment.
It was two days before the keys were handed over.
The whole thing made me so pissed off that somehow it all came together.
I was quite frustrated and then it clicked at some point.
And I was thinking, what the hell am I doing right now?
I'm about to spend all my money on something that might make
me happy for two or three months, so basically I'd have it all.
I would have a great place to live, but as people are,
I think everyone will understand me,
no matter how new things are and how cool things are, you just get used to them.
And that led me to say, okay, I don't want to create a feeling
that ends at some point, but I want something that accompanies me for a long time and
then makes me happy for a long time.
And within a few days everything suddenly mixed up.
None of the things I did during that time made any sense to me.
And the thought of really going on a world tour got bigger and bigger.
So I was sitting there with the contract, within two weeks I quit the
contract, I quit my job, and then it was clear that I was going away.
To sum it up.
The thought accompanied me for many years.
It has continued to build up and I have thought more and more about it, and
the trigger was basically water damage.
Many thanks to this water damage <3
You changed my life, and it was the best decision I could ever make.
An interesting point on this question is the whole issue of comfort zone.
Do I have enough money?
What does it look like after the trip around the world?
So what happens when I get home?
Am I even the type to take a trip around the world?
Especially alone.
If you want to know more about this topic or would like to know how it was with me,
then write it into the comments and I can also discuss this topic comfort zone
next time.
So if you have any questions for me, no matter what.
Whether it's about me or my trip or the country I'm in.
Just ask me and if there are enough questions, I might make a second part of it.
Did you quit your job or take a paid vacation and what was your profession?
Short and sweet.
Yes, I quit my job and I worked as an account and/or
project manager in an agency.
Do you live in Germany or have you given up everything?
I no longer have a place of residence in Germany.
I officially signed out of Germany and yes, I gave up everything.
Super, awesome, fabulous, dreamlike, wonderful, fantastically awesome!
Thank you!
That wasn't a question :D
Mary or Mary, I already told you.
If I could, I would award prizes for comments.
I'll just put it on video.
Thank you very much!
I was briefly stopped to take the people here into the video.
Say Hello!
HELLO!
Bye Bye.
How did you start?
Did you randomly book a place with a hostel or did you just book on recommendation?
There I can refer gladly to my first video, which I made in Thailand.
Short and sweet.
I booked my actual flight about two weeks before my world trip.
No, I had no idea where to sleep the first night.
And more in my first video.
Check it out :)
Did your family and relatives support you in your plans or did
they rather advise against it?
I mean, you know it.
The mother.
No, don't gooooo! :D
Mom, if you're watching this.. <3
Of course, my mother was worried and first wondered how I came up
with this idea.
But after a little crying, she supported me of course and tried to answer
all questions together with me.
Everything's great.
My father wasn't so enthusiastic about the idea at first.
He asked the very typical questions that are so familiar.
What about your career?
What about your retirement?
What about your insurance?
Why are you doing this, you're still way too young?
But after a short time everything was good there and I also have the fullest support
from my dad.
And the rest think what I do is actually super cool and yeah, everything is cool! :)
I would like to combine the next questions.
Had you experienced negative experiences on your journey that almost forced you to give up?
And the next question is.
You've been stolen before.
Yeah, friends, if you haven't seen it yet, I'd ask you to watch my
last video from Delhi.
I'll link it again in the description below or you can see it here above again.
That was one of the lows of my journey.
I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
he first time I had the feeling a little bit was in Myanmar.
But that was an experience that every traveller had at one time or another.
I had food poisoning in Myanmar, and I was for about two and a half days
as good as dead.
There is also a video.
Just have a look at my series from Myanmar.
But otherwise I haven't experienced anything that was really so negative that
I wanted to break off this trip.
I would also like to combine the next two questions.
How, how long and how much money have you saved?
And, do you earn money on the way or do you take everything from your savings?
Oh, the dogs are coming.
I'll find another place to answer that question :D
So, of course, like any normal person, I've been working :)
I've been saving up my money for the last eight to ten years.
I've always been the guy who paid the most attention to his money.
Sure, I once spent money on some unnecessary stuff, but in
many things I just wondered twice if I really need it now
or if I could use it for something better in the future.
I never knew what for.
Now I know it, so Sofian in the past, Good Job! :D
How much it has finally become,
eeh.. :D
I would like, that is, that is, that is
indeed, very private.
I don't want to go into too much detail, I hope you don't mind me <3
What I can tell you is that it is in the lower five-digit range, but I have also
invested some of these savings in equipment.
Maybe I can reveal this in the future when we have got to know each other
a little better?
I just don't think now's the time.
It's not you, it's me, right?
I'm just not ready for this.
I'm trying to be as honest and open with you guys as I can.
To answer the last part of the question, if I earn money while travelling.
No, I'm not making anything on the side right now.
I only travel from my savings.
I believe that in future it will also depend very much on the country whether I have to work on the side
or not, because there are also countries or
continents where people spend much more every day than in Asia, for example.
Meanwhile I've arrived back at my hostel and there are already
some people here.
You wanna say something to the camera?
I love you bro! :D
And that brings us to the final question for today's video.
Did you teach yourself how to edit videos?
Yeah, I taught myself all that.
I started about four, five years ago.
Yeah, I didn't always do it regularly.
Every weekend, when I had time after work, and yeah.
Now I definitely have enough time to devote myself completely to this.
And with that..
too many people.. :D
And I'd say that's the end of the video for today.
I hope you guys enjoyed accompanying me on my walk.
As I said, write all your questions in the comments.
I'm definitely gonna do a second part.
Even if I have to go into a little more detail, write it in the comments.
I hope you liked it.
Leave a like if you...
You're welcome to leave a like if you've enjoyed it.
One last thing.
I got my passport back <3
That means very soon it can go on for me.
If you don't know what it's about, check out the latest video.
I'd say I'll see you next time!
Greetings from Delhi, Peace! <3 :)

How to Diet Without Your Spouse - Duration: 4:07.
How do you stay on track with your diet when your spouse
or your family members aren't on board with you. I'm going over
my top three tips for how to stay on track with the diet
with non dieters in the house. Let's get into it.
Hey everybody and welcome back to another episode of Walk with
me. This is Josh here and say we're talking about dieting in a
full of non dieters. Even if you have a supportive spouse
or family it can still be tough sometimes. If they're not also
trying to lose weight with you. These are three things
that I picked up when I was losing weight that
had a huge impact.
If you're already the one that does most the cooking in
the house this one is so easy. But if you're not maybe
it's time for you to become the House chef. If you're doing
the cooking then you have control over how many calories
are in the meals that you're making. This really makes things
nice and simple even if you have a picky family like we've talked
about before on this channel. You can make so many normal
foods really fit into your diet just by swapping ingredients and
portion control. And if for whatever reason you're
not able to cook for your spouse or your family it's time for you
to start prepping some meals for yourself.
It is crucially important to be prepared with lots of healthy
food and snacks around in your house because generally
I would advise if you have any sort of trigger foods or foods
that you tend to overeat you want I get those out of the
house if you can. But if you have a family member
that doesn't want to do that you have to make sure
you have for yourself lots of good substitutions that
you're going to enjoy. That you're going to be able
to choose successfully over whatever food that doesn't fit
into your day. So if this means getting your own groceries
making sure to have ample snacks and meals at the ready.
This is so important.
I'm pretty sure most of us get into that habit of going to work
to get home you come eat dinner on the couch hang out
for the rest of the night and just be a couch potato.
Take time to plan activities and events and the fun things
that are going to get you up moving and off the couch.
This is really great even for the significant other
or a family member that isn't dieting. It's going to give
you extra bonus points for coming up with a cool date
night or a cool family day. And that's going to open up
that time for you to get some indirect activity and exercise
in while having fun and spending some quality time with your
family or significant other. So in summary one become
the chef of your house or start prepping your own food
separately. Two, make sure and be prepared
with lots of snacks and prepped meals if you're not able to get
rid of those trigger foods out of your home you want to make
sure and have all of the substitutions you can
possibly have to make sure you don't choose the wrong thing.
And three, get out and be a little bit more active.
It's going to give you brownie points for coming up with a cool
date night ideas or Family Day ideas. It's also going to give
you some extra calories burned. I was lucky enough that Camille
was always very supportive for me but at different points
in my journey I have utilized all three of these.
I think these all come in really handy regardless of your
situation. You know sit down talk to your spouse talk to your
family and let them know that you're doing this for you.
You're doing this to yourself. Be happier healthier live longer
spend more quality time with them and they should understand.
I want you all to leave your best tips for this down below.
I think it is a very common problem for a lot of people
trying to lose weight and be sure to subscribe if you're not
already walk with me comes out every Monday and I've got all
sorts of other videos that come out on Fridays. But until next
time I'll talk to you all later. Have a good one.

We Should Let Some Wildfires Burn - Duration: 3:46.
Down below me are the forests of British Columbia, BC for short.
They're home to people - a few, anyway - wildlife, and
basically every alien planet that Stargate SG-1 ever went to.
Now I don't want to be too simplistic here,
but forests are made of wood. And wood is flammable.
Very flammable.
Just over that ridge is the site of the Elaho wildfire,
which in 2015 burned an area the size of Manhattan
over 10 weeks.
And that was just a small one.
In 2017, 19 wildfires combined together to burn an area 130km end-to-end.
- Since about 2003, we have been having continuously record-breaking temperatures,
record-breaking droughts, and record-breaking fire seasons.
The fires that we have observed in the last decade
are large, aggressive fires that are very difficult to control.
Often, when we see fires, we look at them and think they're destructive, but in truth,
many fires do more good than harm.
We see, in our northern forests,
trees are actually adapted to release their seeds
and to grow back after a major fire,
which burns from tree top to tree top
and kills those trees, creating large openings.
In our drier ecosystems, they're kind of a lower intensity surface fire
that cleanses the forest, takes away the dead grasses,
the branches that have accumulated down on the ground,
but leaves the big trees that are resistant to that fire
and create a very healthy ecosystem that is dependent on fire.
- Now, I grew up in England, where there's not much woodland left
and what there is is carefully managed and controlled.
So to me, the idea that fire could be a good thing is counterintuitive.
And don't get me wrong, playing with matches in a forest
is still a very bad idea.
But it turns out that having a professional
set a precise fire at a precise time and place
could actually be a good idea.
- In absence of fires, the fuels have built up in the forests
and now, when we have fires, they're even more intense than they were in the past.
Historically, we know that fires, in parts of the province,
especially in the dry forests of British Columbia, were really frequent.
So these are fires that would burn through the understory of the forest
and in those forests,
we have thick-barked trees that are adapted to fire.
So they resist the fire and they survive.
Each of these marks down at the bottom that you can see
is a fire scar embedded in the tree rings and it is showing
the history of fire in this particular environment.
There are enough fire scars embedded in the tree rings
that it burned 42 times over its lifetime.
Up until 2010, our policy in BC was 100% fire suppression.
So we would try to detect and suppress fires as quickly as possible.
As of 2012, we changed to allow managed wildfires
on the landscape, allowing some fires in remote areas
where it doesn't put human lives or values at risk.
Those managed fires are trying to get
the ecosystem to function as it did historically.
So if we go into those areas that have dense forests right up to our backyards
and if we assess those forests and remove some of the trees,
in particular, the small trees in the understory,
and then come in and use a prescribed burn
to clean up all the small fuels on the ground
and stimulate all those fire-adapted plants in the understory,
we can not only reduce the risk of fire damaging our communities,
but we can restore our ecosystems and improve ecosystem health.
- My pilot today has been Bradley Friesen, along with--
- Mr. Bentley, the dog. - Co-pilot back there.
And you're starting a channel soon called?
- Destruction by Gravity. - That's gonna be a fun one.
There's not much there yet, but check it out.
I think there's gonna be some fun stuff.
Thank you to you, thank you also to Dr. Lori Daniels at UBC.
- A lot of fun, I liked it.

Michelle Wolf Tears Into Late-Night TV for Formulaic Trump Jokes - Duration: 5:41.
Michelle Wolf Tears Into Late-Night TV for Formulaic Trump Jokes
"Writing jokes is hard," Wolf says.
"You know what's easier? An earnest plea.
So I am gonna throw my pen down on the desk.
and I'm gonna tell you that Trump is bad! The news is bad!".
While most comedy shows on television these days are tearing into the Trump Administration, Michelle Wolf turned the tables on "The Break" over the weekend and tore into them for how predictably they tear into Donald Trump.
She seemed to be poking particular fun at her former boss, Seth Meyers on "Late Night," whose found viral success with his "A Closer Look" segments.
Wolf, too, spotlighted a segment but her segment was all about exposing the formulaic structure of segments like these.
She featured sections like "The Information Part" and "The Unexpected Pivot!" "This is the time of the show where we do a viral segment and since this is a comedy show in 2018, you know one thing for sure: This comedy segment is going to be sincere and angry," she said.
"And you can also tell that it will be funny because I'm sitting down, there will be graphics and facts and it will feel a little bit like school.
For this instructional video, Wolf used an actual news story from the past week, focusing on Trump's Supreme Court nominee.
Wolf attacked not only the president, but also the liberal media that hangs on his every word, letting him pull their strings like tampons.
"Too much for you?" she asked.
How about puppets, then? "I'm sure they did their job and covered the Supreme Court announcement with grounded, responsible reporting," Wolf said of the media.
"You know what that biting sarcasm means.
We're about to play a clip that shows they did the opposite." "Writing jokes is hard," Wolf said in conclusion.
"It's, I mean, really hard.
You know what's easier? An earnest plea.
So I am gonna throw my pen down on the desk, and I'm gonna shake my head in crestfallen bewilderment.
I'm gonna look you in the eye, and I'm gonna tell you that Trump is bad! The news is bad! Which means that I, a comedian, have to do you the news' job." The entire segment was a brilliant breakdown of how formulaic segments like this can be, but is that necessarily a bad thing? "Saturday Night Live's" "Weekend Update" segment has followed the same basic structure for decades and people still flock to it.
And when it's good, it can still be brilliant, biting political and social satire.
Plus, hasn't politically-driven or news-driven or issues-driven comedy always done that? While Wolf is railing against her fellow comedians for picking up this baton and running with it, they're certainly not the first to do so.
The Smothers Brothers got their own show canceled because they refused to stop going after those in power in the '60s on their prime-time comedy show, while Dennis Miller pushed politics deeper into the fabric of "Weekend Update" during the '80s on "SNL." Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert made political humor an institution on Comedy Central in the 2000s.
At its height, studies showed that more young people got their news from this duo than they did from the actual media.
Perhaps its that very formulaic takedown of the institutions couched with actual news that made it more palatable and trustworthy for the younger generations.
Now that we're told more than ever how skewed and "fake" the news can be, while Trump lies on the daily through Twitter and his mouth, where can people go to be informed in the most unbiased way possible? Oddly enough, the comedians have become our last bastion.
And we are flocking to them in huge numbers, with the more politically-charged comedy shows seeing rises in the ratings while those shows that stay out of the fray as much as possible, like Jimmy Fallon's "Tonight Show" slip further behind.

How to Make a Spanish Paella with Tuna & Shrimp - Duration: 4:33.
Hey guys! today we´re gonna be making
such an amazing recipe
I´m gonna show you guys how to make an
Authentic Paella with Tuna & Shrimp
this paella is so easy to make
and it truly has such an incredible flavor
now I know there´s some of you out there
that are gonna say this is not an authentic paella
you know it doesn´t have chicken it doesn´t have rabbit
you know they call it ¨arroz con cosas¨
rice with things
that´s a bunch of bologna
this is here is a full on paella and it´s amazing
now to make this though you do need to us Bomba rice
the famous rice from Valencia, Spain
this is a crucial step in this recipe
guys if you can´t find this in your area
you can get some in the link
in the descripiton box below
ok guys stick around
cause as always I´m gonna you guys how to make
that beautiful socarrat
which is that caramelized burnt rice
in the bottom of the pan
that give this paella so much flavor
we´re gonna begin by finely mincing 4 cloves of garlic
then I´ve got this small red bell pepper here
this is how I like to cut it
cause it easily removes all the seeds
and then finely dice it
now the tuna steaks and peeled and deveined shrimp
I´m gonna be using for this recipe
I bought frozen just because it´s a lot cheaper
I´ve thawed them out
now you wanna gently pat down the tuna steaks
with some paper towels
season them with sea salt
and freshly cracked black pepper
and start cutting them into pieces
that are about 1 inch x 1 inch
and finally pat down the shrimp with some paper towels
and then season them with sea salt
and freshly cracked black pepper
ok now we can start cooking our paella
I´m gonna be using this authentic paella pan
guys it´s important to use one of these
I know in the past I´ve always said
it´s ok if you don´t have one of these
just use a large non-stick frying pan
and you can
but if you get one of these paella pans
the rice just cooks so much better
invest in one of these they´re not that expensive
ok let´s heat this with a medium-high heat
and you wanna add a 1/4 cup of
extra virgin Spanish olive oil
about a minute or so after adding the olive oil
season it with sea salt
and add the diced bell peppers
and start mixing them around with the oil
you want to stir this occasionally
and we´re gonna cook it between 4 to 5 minutes
then you wanna add the pieces of tuna
just gently mix them around
we´re just going to cook these for about 2 minutes
just to brown them on all sides
then make a well in the middle
and add the minced garlic
about 30 seconds after adding the garlic
add a generous 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
and mix everything together
then add 1/2 a cup of tomato puree
season with sea salt
and again mix everything together
until it´s well combined
about 2 minutes after adding the tomato puree
we´re gonna add 2 1/2 cups of water
a 1/4 teaspoon of saffron threads
season again with a little sea salt
and give it a gently mix
once the water comes to a boil
it´s time to get our rice ready
I´m gonna grab 1 cup of Bomba Rice
and evenly distribute it throughout the paella pan
you know just get in there with a spoon
and make sure it´s evenly distributed
you don´t wanna stir or mix the paella
ah this will disrupt the way this rice cooks
this is the last time your gonna touch this paella
with a spoon
until you eat it
once the rice is evenly distributed
add the jumbo shrimp into the pan
about 10 minutes after adding the rice into the pan
go ahead and lower the fire to a LOW heat
and we´re gonna let this simmer for a couple minutes
once there´s very little broth left in the pan
I´m gonna show you guys how to make
the famous socarrat
the secret now is we´re gonna go from a LOW heat
to a MEDIUM-HIGH heat
for exactly 2 minutes
after 2 minutes
remove the paella pan from the stove top
and you wanna cover it
and let it rest for at least 5 minutes
ok guys it´s been 5 minutes since I covered the paella
and it´s ready to go
I´m gonna go ahead and uncover it
and look how beautiful this looks
I´m gonna garnish it with a couple slices of lemon
and some fresh parsley
ok now I´m gonna get in there and give this a try
and show you guys that socarrat
and look at this
look how beautiful and tasty this looks
ok I´m gonna give this a try...Salud!
this is truly stunning
the rice is perfectly cooked
and that socarrat just gives it
such another new dimension of flavors
and the smoked paprika, saffron, the simple seafood
you could consider this like an alternate version
to a seafood paella
except its got less sefood making it easier to make
and a lot cheaper
ok guys I hope you enjoyed this video
if you did please hit that like button
leave me a comment below
and don´t forget to subscribe
until the next time...Hasta Luego!!

HOW TO CURVE WITH MTB - ACTION CAM EXTRACTION! - Duration: 6:40.
Hi guys, I'm Lory Bart, today I want to show you how to ride a mountain bike
I created a path with skittles
four meters apart from each other in order to improve is to understand the curve technique. Knowing how to curve in MTB is very important
to learn I advise you to do a slalom like this, to learn an act the movement then left right
with the correct position on the pedals then when we meet the cone, the pedal
external to the curve and not internal because if we do it inside we risk that the pedal touches the ground in fact if you see at this moment
the pedal can touch the ground, so the curves do not sit or even with the cranks
horizontal, then we change direction according to the curve, we always try to move forward never backwards and try to look
immediately as soon as I made the curve the next obstacle to try to make a cleaner trajectory.
The curve is very fundamental for the bike because after knowing how to ride it is also necessary to know how to bend, so if we do not know
bend and better learn because it is a lot
dangerous not to know how to bend, maybe even if we find some difficult routes to be unprepared in downhills where there are a lot of curves
dangerous it is better to know how to behave
so if we know this technique of moving the feet during the curves we will definitely be favored.
Another advice that I give you and make the eight so we take two pins that we start doing eight, it takes a lot to understand the movement
to synchronize even in the change on the extra foot as you see we learn to
unload all the weight on the foot outside the bend, in this way if we lift the inner foot
certainly we unload all the weight on the outer foot and then the estate will be exceptional
there are many exercises to learn how to curve but we say that if we do
these basic exercises at least starting from the base because it is impossible to start on the steep or on the slopes
from enduro and we do not know how to curve, so we start from ABC
on the plain with these skittles, then when we understand how the curve works we can
to make the most technical routes
We say that bending is like a dance, so we try to be clean and rhythmic fluids
Knowing how to bend means driving technique, driving technique and
let 's say that the ABC of mountain biking is not just about riding but you need to know how to bend
know how to descend knowing how to climb, knowing how to jump, knowing how to brake, then the
secret to curve well is fast and
unload all the weight on the pedal outside the curve so that the two wheels have the same traction
both in front of and behind this way the bike is almost impossible, so that if we keep the central weight with the pedal
outside the bend the bike behaves as if it were on some tracks so it's up to us to find this
feeling and try until we find the right feeling

A MYSTERIOUS ball of the Family, Betz. Alien Sphere, Betz - Duration: 10:13.
THE MYSTERIOUS BALL OF THE BETZ Family
Link to article in description
Any mysterious object, falling from heaven, always
makes a lot of noise. Yet more excitement cause
various kinds of finds, which, according to ufologists,
products of extraterrestrial technologies. It is to such findings
and belongs to the famous "Betz's sphere", named
so by family name, her who discovered.
On March 26, 1974 the Betz family inspected the damage,
left on their lands a recent forest fire.
Bettsev's farm was close to Jacksonville,
Fla.
During the inspection they found polished metal
ball with a diameter of 20.22 centimeters and weighing 9.67 kilograms. None
seams or dents on it was, short of a small
triangular marks in size 3 millimeters. If he fell
from above, then with a very small speed, because not
formed a crater and did not burrowed into the ground. The fire is not
left no traces.
The head of the family grabbed ball home, where he was lying
the next two weeks as the most common piece of iron.
But when the youngest son Wayne decided to entertain his girlfriend
playing the guitar, that the sphere responds to
sounds. Mysterious ball began to vibrate as
tuning fork, and publish strange throbbing sounds in response
on certain notes.
Subsequently, the head of the family told me that more
it all sounded like a sound ukrainian guitar, but at the same time
the same time was very different From him.
Soon Bettsy have found out, that a metal ball can
move independently. Without any external influences
he was beginning to skate On the floor of the room, in which
was, and the trajectory his movement usually represented
a broken line.
At the same time, the sphere could be frozen, and after a while continue
motion. But most of all struck by the fact that she never
did not encounter obstacles. She either bypassed them, or
stopped and started movement in the opposite direction.
It turned out that the ball reacts on weather conditions: in clear
days he rolled more actively, than in rainy, and with a shady
the side of the room often rolled down on the sunny. On artificial
sources of heat, like heater or soldering
lamp, he did not react.
After watching the ball, the family Bettsev decided to tell
about it to the public and find scientists who have unraveled
would be a mystery. First they called to the local newspaper Jacksonville
Journal. " The editorial staff sent on the farm of photographer Lona
Engera. About what happened next, Lon said this:
Mrs. Betz said that I put the ball on the floor and pushed it
him. He rolled a little and froze. What's next? She is
says: "Wait a little." The ball turned itself, rolled
to the right about 1.2 meters, stopped, then again
turned and, rolling left about 2.5 meters,
described a large arc and returned straight to my feet.
Enger, returning to the office, wrote a sensational article.
Soon a ball in the house of Betz spoke the whole country.
The farm was besieged by reporters. Military and ufologists, in their
turn, too, paid tribute to this story. Representative
Navy Chris Burninger said, that in his presence the ball
he also skated, as he wanted.
At night in the house, Bettsev became strange music is heard,
similar to an organ or something in this kind. The doors began
swing open and shut by themselves at any time
day and night. The family decided, that the ball must be handed over to representatives
US Navy for more detailed research.
Specialists of the Navy have established, that the sphere consists of an alloy
carbon iron and nickel, that is, in fact
- Stainless steel. Its closest analogue is "alloy
431 »for work in conditions high temperature, maximum
resistant to corrosion. However, the ratio of components
did not correspond to any earthly analogue. The ball was
hollow, the thickness of its walls ranged from 1.09 to 1.14 centimeters.
Using a powerful X-ray, The military found that
within the sphere are two more objects, also spherical
form. These facilities were as it were, "magnetized" to
inner surface spheres and did not break away from
her. Therefore, when shaking there were no audible
sounds.
The ball was not radioactive. The military wanted to saw
it, but Bettsy refused consent to an autopsy
and demanded the ball back. As the find was not
identified by the military, Betzi decided that it could be
extraterrestrial device.
Just at that time the "yellow" the newspaper "National Enquirer"
that she will pay 10,000 dollars for "the best scientific evidence
existence of UFOs "and 50 000 dollars for "proof,
that UFOs have an alien origin".
On April 20 and 21, 1974 the ball was in the spotlight
Commission, which should was to decide the fate of both
premiums. The Betz family decided give the ball to the newspaper,
hoping to win a good amount, but at the same time
additional research finds at the expense of journalists
from the most widely circulating newspapers of the USA.
Having investigated the sphere from all parties, experts have established,
that it is something much more complicated, rather than simple
metallic sphere. At the sound mysterious object reacted
vibration, probably some kind of associated with its
movement. These movements wore disordered
character - it is as if aimlessly skated in all directions,
from time to time for a little while stopping.
When the ball was placed on glass plate, one
the end of which was slightly raised, you could notice,
that the subject was, as it were, the bottom edge of the plate, after
which, contrary to all laws gravity, began slowly
roll up the slope.
Brenda Sullivan, scientific employee of geographical
society in Arlington, stated the following:
I believe that such subjects
about the once existed on our planet highly developed
civilization, of which we do not know anything.
Another American Researcher - Jay Brennan
there was a slightly different opinion. He believed that such an object
may well be a probe, abandoned by extraterrestrial
mind for tracking processes of terrestrial evolution.
Money Bettsam not given, so as they could not prove,
that the ball has some attitude towards UFOs. But the member
commission professor of civil construction in California
University of Berkeley James Harder, who has a huge
authority in the environment of ufologists, made some calculations
and stated that the internal the content of the ball is
from elements that are much the hardest thing that is known
modern science.
In nature, the heaviest element - uranium with atomic
number according to Mendeleyev's table 92. Also people have learned
synthesize elements with numbers up to 118. But inside
sphere Betce, according to Harder, contains an unknown
earth science element with atomic number 140.
Three years later, at the International Congress on UFOs in Chicago
June 24, 1977 Harder intimidated all: if only to drill
in the ball hole, inside will happen chain reaction and it will explode,
as an atomic bomb. Besides Perhaps, he is all
still under supervision aliens and they can
severely punish the attempted on their device.
From attempts to open the sphere it was decided not to
for security reasons. Decided to explore the scope
in more detail. but the plans of scientists are not fated
was to come true. By that time Bettsy whole family without a trace
disappeared along with the ball. Long-term searches for
which was not brought.
Versions, where they got to, many: from government
special services until again aliens who returned
for their property. Where now lies mysterious
find and what it was on in fact, it remains
secret.

✅ Lange Bermudashorts in A-Linie kaschieren kräftige Schenkel - Duration: 2:56.
