Welcome back to Porco Princesa,
and welcome back to Planet Coaster!
And first of all I wanted to say that this video was
all recorded live on Twitch,
So if you that are watching my series here on Youtube,
would like to watch it live,
just come to my Twitch channel
twitch.tv/porcoprincesa
Every Sunday from 19-21 that I'll be doing Planet
Coaster streams.
So if you want to see the construction live,
gime some ideas,
help me create this world,
Come watch the streams and you can give ideas and do all of this with me,
So,
this whole video is actually seven hours of work
sped up in just 13 minutes.
I did a lot in these lives,
but I thought it would fit in one single video.
It ended up a little fast on some places, but I hope you like it.
So I'm putting the support pillars on the docks.
And that's something I wanted to do for a long time,
It was to put something to divide...
Kind of divide the park areas.
Divide the port from the entrance part, and such,
because, for example, if you...
If you are a person who is in the park,
and you from afar look at the roller coaster and say:
"Gee, I want to ride the roller coaster."
But then you have already seen everything there's on the roller coaster.
I think the cool thing is you get on the roller coaster,
and have these experiences of different things you see you weren't expecting.
So I created this... this mountain there with
with this stone arch, that is to cover this area of the port.
So the people who are riding on the roller coaster
and the ones on the outside don't immediately see,
the port and the area that we'll do next,
which is news for those who don't watch the live streams,
I'll make a swamp area, like...
Calypso's home from Pirates of the Caribbean,
that marshy area, which has many hanging plants and such,
kind of voodoo looking, kind of witchcrafty.
So I'm going to make an area like this there near the port.
And in this video I divide those areas as too.
It isn't with a mountain like I did there on the other side,
it's with a large wall with some houses.
I still don't know exactly what I'm going to do in the swamp area
so that this wall doesn't look like a wall, but we'll find a way.
Here I'm building this ladder because I thought
the person working up there had to have a
way to get up there, right?
As I found these steps,
I thought it would be interesting to do this ladder.
It took me a lifetime and the ladder ended up a little crooked,
but in the end it has an interesting look.
Because although it's flying now, you will see
that in a little while, here, I'll put ... pull the ground,
so the ladder is resting on the ground,
and, I'm going to pull the ground over the stairs a little
to give the idea that this ladder has been there for many years.
That it's not a new ladder, right?
so the plants began to grow on top of it.
That was an idea I had right at the beginning of one of the streams,
which was to put that pirate ship ride in the harbor.
Because I didn't know exactly what to do with
this space that I had left there
and I didn't know exactly what to put there. The game has
a lot of things but I think for a big space like this,
there wasn't muchthat was going to be nice, and then I had this idea
to put that ride there
and make the passage, the entrance of it, under the
roller coaster there.
I'm going to open a hole in the ground below the roller coaster,
and build this path underneath the roller coaster
so people can arrive to this ride.
And I found this idea interesting because it's full of boats there,
so people can come and experience
one of the boats in that port, so to speak,
And that's the wall I'd been talking about to divide the areas.
There I started to make some water because I wanted to see
if you could put water under the roller coaster
and what color would the water look like, because they have several types of...
of waters and colors and textures of water in this game,
so I did a quick test there.
that I think I didn't record because I don't remember
seen it on the recordings, but ok.
So I will start to create, in fact,
only the facade of these houses. I haven't done all the houses yet,
because I spent a lot of time creating
this building that I'm making now,
which in the end eventually became
a part of the prison that I had built on the other side.
Remember that I had said that I wanted this
prison to be like a temporary prison?
I ended up creating a building on the other side as if
it was the more permanent prison.
You have this smaller prison where the prisoners arrive,
maybe it's kind of a more administrative building.
And on the other side,
the prisoners cross this bridge that I'm building,
And I thought it was cool because it gives interest to
this roller coaster because people go through...
through this arch.
So the prisoners would arrive in this smaller building, which
I already had built on the other video
and this one would be like a larger prison and the
only way to enter would be crossing this bridge,
So let's put it like that, it's a safer prison.
Because you would have to go through the prison administrative
building to get in and out of the prison.
And then my idea was to put... I haven't put it yet.
There's only this one guard up there, but the idea is
to have at least a couple of guards on that part of the bridge.
To, like, guard, so no one flees, right?
Oh I stayed in this building for a long time, because
first my idea was just to make a normal arch
going over the roller coaster,
And then I started thinking about this thing of joining
the two buildings and then I had the problem that
those are different constructions, so I had to build
in a way that they still seemed that
they are one thing even though they are assembled
like several separate buildings.
Every piece of that wall there is a separate building.
It's a separate building in the game.
Then you saw that I moved the whole wall, one building,
this wall that I'm building now? Another building,
The bridge? Another building,
The building on the other side? Another building. So then,
This ended up taking a lot of time because I had to
edit each separate building and make they
look like they are a single building. But in the end I think I got it.
I think it was really cool, it seemed like it's only one building,
and I still don't know if I'm 100% finished with this building yet.
Maybe I have to put...
Maybe I have to put some, I don't know, some...
decorations to look more like a prison, I don't know.
I don't know what I'd do exactly.
But, of course, I have to put some guards there.
But I think it ended up being a very nice building and it gave
the area some interest.
Here I just wanted to make as if it were just a passage,
Like this ...
These buildings are different from the others, right, the others
I made them three-dimensional, they have
a front, a side, a back and everything.
These buildings as they are for sort of a division to this area,
the idea is that they are just a facade.
They don't have depth as you can see, because there is a wall behind.
So the idea of this passage that I built there
it was more to give the idea that
this place continues, right, it doesn't end there.
Although, of course, the people who are passing by
will see that that hole in the end has a
a wall and there's nothing behind it.
But if you look from a far it seems like there's a passage there.
Then I started to... I just started... filling the port with things.
First I placed these pilasters which was something I saw in the references.
It was usually stone, but I could not find a good stone one to use.
Then I started to put some small things to...
give it the idea that people live there and that
it really is a port, and it has cargo and people do transactions there.
So there are things...
Well, basically, starting to put things to
fill this place and give it more life, so it doesn't loo
so... so... with nothing. So fake.
And here are just a bunch of barrels that I put in several places.
And then after I put all these barrels I kind of
got tired of putting things there.
I'll probably go back and put more stuff there the next time I play.
I think every time I play from now on
I'll go back there and put something else. One more
person, one more, I don't know... And here was a very nice moment
because I decided that I wanted to get someone here
and I found out you could change the color of every pirate's outfit.
And then, man, I didn't do much, I changed this, the other girl and this girl here,
because I don't think any pirate had white clothes, right?
It's impossible to keep a white cloth in the middle of piracy.
So I want to at least get all the pirates that
have white clothes and change it a bit more beige perhaps.
And make it look more realistic...
So I said that I was going to change that wooden house,
but what I did, in fact, was only to change for a
older looking wood wall.
Because that other wood was looking very...
current, right? So I got this wood that is a little darker
and has an older look and raised the roof
because as I saw in the references, at that time
the roofs were actually taller than they are today.
So I thought it was better to have this roof
a little higher that made it more interesting.
Then again, I put another house with this wooden pattern,
I didn't finish this house, I actually made just this wall,
And then I worked so hard to make these boards there
and then I change everything, see? I put the boards lower
Because I did not want it to look the same as the other houses
The idea is that they are all built of wood,
but they aren't all the same.
So I came back. Why did I left that house?
Because I wanted to at least make one of these buildings of the division
Because I didn't do anything here and I wanted to...
I just did the prison building and wanted to at least do one of the buildings.
So I made this building here, and I put this... This little thing on it.
Kind of like a castle, maybe it's a richer building.
I made this pther one. I only put a roof on it, actually.
I fixed it because there's a hole in it, see? I didn't put much of these things...
I don't know, doesn't matter.
