What Would Happen If An Astronaut Jumped Off The ISS - Duration: 5:08.

- [Narrator] Most skydivers jump off a plane

flying 3.8 kilometers above the ground.

But imagine jumping off something even higher

like the International Space Station.

Unless you have a super suit like Tony Stark,

it's not gonna end well.

But let's pretend Iron Man lends you one.

Okay, ready?

Three, two, one, jump.

Wait, what?

That's right.

You won't fall straight down.

In fact it'll take you at least two

and half years before you reach the surface.

So what's going on?

Height isn't the main reason your fall takes so long.

In fact, if you fell like a normal skydiver

it would only take you about two hours.

But the thing is, you don't fall straight down,

you fall into orbit.

The reason is speed.

You see, the ISS might be called a station

but it's hardly stationary.

It's actually moving 12 times faster than a jet fighter.

If you shot anything at that speed on Earth,

by the time it was about to hit the ground it would miss.

In the same way, the ISS isn't floating in space,

it's falling towards Earth and missing.

And when you jump off the ISS, you're initially moving

at the same speed.

So you end up in orbit too.

At least for a while.

Now even though it's so high up, the ISS is pushing

through a very thin atmosphere.

So that friction against the atmosphere slows it down.

So the station fires engines to maintain speed

and keep from crashing into the Earth.

But sadly your super suit doesn't come with engines

strapped to your feet.

This has two consequences.

First, it means you can't maneuver and have to hope

that any of those 13 thousand chunks of space debris

don't empale you.

Second, without rockets to maintain your speed,

it'll slow you down and spiral toward Earth.

But it won't be quick.

The Chinese Space Station, Tiongong-1 for example

took about two years to fall out of orbit.

On the ISS, you're higher up.

So you'll take roughly two and a half years.

But once you strike the atmosphere your long wait is over

and it's go time.

As you re-enter, you have one goal, slow down.

You're traveling at hyper-sonic speeds.

So if you deployed a parachute now, it'll shred to pieces.

And that's not he only problem.

Falling through the atmosphere at such break-neck speeds

generates at least eight G's of force.

That's eight times the gravity you feel at sea level.

And if you're falling feet first,

that'll push the blood away from your brain

and toward your feet.

So you'll probably pass out,

unless you're one of those fighter pilots

who trained to withstand up to five G's.

Now if you don't pass out, you may worry about

the freezing temperatures up here.

But it turns out your suit's

more likely to melt than freeze.

You know how you can warm your hands

by rubbing them together?

Now imagine your super-suit rubbing against

air molecules in the atmosphere at least six times

the speed of sound.

You'll heat up to about 1,650 degrees Celsius.

Hot enough to melt iron.

In fact, the heat is so intense, it strips electrons

from their atoms, forming a pink plasma around you

that will ultimately destroy your suit.

If that's not enough of a problem,

the drag will rip off your limbs.

But thankfully Tony Stark has your back

and somehow your super-suit holds with you in tact.

At 41 kilometers up, you've now reached the world record

for highest skydive.

In 2014, Alan Eustace wore a pressurized spacesuit

as he rode a balloon up to this height.

He broke the sound barrier on his way down

before deploying his parachute.

And landed about 15 minutes after the drop.

But you'll be falling much faster than Eustace.

About three times the speed of sound.

So in reality you're not going to slow down enough

to safely deploy your chute.

That's where Iron Man can help us one last time.

By one kilometer up, you've reached the territory

of ordinary skydivers who don't need fancy suits to survive.

At this point, your parachute can do what it does best,

and it's finally time to land softly.

Knife Sharpening Skills: Knife sharpening

I think it's really important to tell you That knife sharpening is a very very dangerous thing. I don't want you to hurt yourself. You don'r want to hurt yourself.

So, please please please. I know it's generally all fun and games in the series

But make sure that you take extra care when handling sharp objects.

Heh. Like this one, haha. Let's start.

When Using a Honing Steel (Sharpening Rod) Start by "rocking" the knife against the honing steel at a 35-45-degree angle. The goal of this is to complete a movement from the hilt of the blade to the tip.

Note that this is not necessarily sharpening the blade; the goal is to re-align the edge so that the blade is not curved to one side.

Make sure to do this on a flat surface so that your hand does not slip and the honing steel remains immobile. Focus on the strokes of the knife instead of speed - with practice, you will develop your own rhythm!

Smooth strokes and making sure every area is touched will ensure a great cutting edge for all cooking!

When Using an Electric Sharpener For electric sharpeners, every sharpener is different, and reading the individual instructions for use is a must!

This being said, for many sharpeners, the process is very similar. The idea is to re-align the blade by using a motorized grind wheel. This will not only sharpen the blade but also hone it with more consistency than what could be done by hand with a honing steel.

For this particular knife sharpener, each groove represents a part of the process. Every notch is a little bit more refinement for the blade - for this model, there are three stages with two notches per stage. Start by running it through the first notch, then second notch, then back to the first and repeat as directed - this catches both sides of the blade during each stage.

Once a stage is complete, move to the next set of notches and repeat (noting the directions for that stage).

At the end of the stages, the result will be a beautifully sharpened knife!

Morning Mood Fam. Happy fourth of July. Happy Independence day.

Happy Fireworks day

Happy BBQ day. Happy day off of work day we're just running around to doing some

errands before the fourth of July we are getting ready to go to my brother's

house later to watch fireworks and before that we're hanging out with a

friend who's in from out of town and just chilling getting stuff done around

the house today it's chips like last official day off

before his last day of work he is will no longer be an employee at the police

he is currently employed and maybe will do a whole video about our experiences

working at that place but I'm not going to delve into that until he is

officially done there and we've received everything from them we need to receive

but we are excited and so today we're just preparing because Friday and

Saturday he actually has off and we're gonna take it as like our little

anniversary vacation slash staycation so I want to have everything prepped kind

of a house clean so we don't have to worry about any of that while we're on

vacation the kids are gonna be at sleepovers both days so yeah it'll be

fun you guys wanna say hi yeah say hi say good morning

I thought I was going to be doing this later but then I realized it would be

late and there would be no light and I would be dead tired because my bedtime

is 8:30 and fireworks starting around 9:00 but I wanted to ask you all your

opinion on some things so I have been trying to figure out like what our

channel is going to be and I know this channel here for sure will always be

like family based like it will be about our family whether it be sit-down videos

or vlogs things of that sort it will have something to do with our family but

something that I have been doing on the side is I'm trying to teach myself

Korean and I would really really really like to be fluent now I don't know what

that educational process is going to look like for me I have been studying on

my own right now but I may in the future enroll in university to study to become

fluent in Korean and then be able to teach I don't know if I want to track

that progress either on here or on a separate channel so go ahead and leave

in the comments below whether you think that I should track this on this channel

and just make it like a specific day I'll upload videos for that language or

should I just do a completely separate channel for tracking my progress because

I think it would be really cool to kind of watch me grow as I seek out fluency

in Korean and to kind of see the entire process from start to beginning I think

that a lot of people either are already fluent in Korean when they begin their

channels or and then they just kind of look back and give you resources that

they think are good or they're kind of semi fluent or they live there and so I

thought it would be cool to racket uh and I'm going to track it

either way I just wanted Toki your guys's opinion I am going to track it

because I want that for myself same way with our Channel I want to track my kids

growth I want to remember the things that we do as a family so that's what

this channel is for um but I was wondering if you you know think like

what should I do with that or should it just be on well I don't want to do IG TV

because honestly who knows what's gonna happen with IG TV like person next to me

is like what is she doing um I don't know what's gonna happen with IG TV and

whether it's gonna stick around whether it's gonna be a valuable platform but I

do know I can always rely on YouTube so I am going to make either a channel or a

segment I'll say for my Korean education so let me know what you think

also if you speak Korean hit your girl up so that we can be talk but ease or

you can help me and correct my terrible pronunciation but yeah

York so would this was kind of like the last time I will see them before they

leave and the last time we'll see them for a little while until probably

holidays but I hope you all had amazing 4th of July's I hope that you all were

safe and responsible and just got to relax and do your thing again don't

What Would Happen If An Astronaut Jumped Off The ISS - Duration: 5:08.

- [Narrator] Most skydivers jump off a plane

flying 3.8 kilometers above the ground.

But imagine jumping off something even higher

like the International Space Station.

Unless you have a super suit like Tony Stark,

it's not gonna end well.

But let's pretend Iron Man lends you one.

Okay, ready?

Three, two, one, jump.

Wait, what?

That's right.

You won't fall straight down.

In fact it'll take you at least two

and half years before you reach the surface.

So what's going on?

Height isn't the main reason your fall takes so long.

In fact, if you fell like a normal skydiver

it would only take you about two hours.

But the thing is, you don't fall straight down,

you fall into orbit.

The reason is speed.

You see, the ISS might be called a station

but it's hardly stationary.

It's actually moving 12 times faster than a jet fighter.

If you shot anything at that speed on Earth,

by the time it was about to hit the ground it would miss.

In the same way, the ISS isn't floating in space,

it's falling towards Earth and missing.

And when you jump off the ISS, you're initially moving

at the same speed.

So you end up in orbit too.

At least for a while.

Now even though it's so high up, the ISS is pushing

through a very thin atmosphere.

So that friction against the atmosphere slows it down.

So the station fires engines to maintain speed

and keep from crashing into the Earth.

But sadly your super suit doesn't come with engines

strapped to your feet.

This has two consequences.

First, it means you can't maneuver and have to hope

that any of those 13 thousand chunks of space debris

don't empale you.

Second, without rockets to maintain your speed,

it'll slow you down and spiral toward Earth.

But it won't be quick.

The Chinese Space Station, Tiongong-1 for example

took about two years to fall out of orbit.

On the ISS, you're higher up.

So you'll take roughly two and a half years.

But once you strike the atmosphere your long wait is over

and it's go time.

As you re-enter, you have one goal, slow down.

You're traveling at hyper-sonic speeds.

So if you deployed a parachute now, it'll shred to pieces.

And that's not he only problem.

Falling through the atmosphere at such break-neck speeds

generates at least eight G's of force.

That's eight times the gravity you feel at sea level.

And if you're falling feet first,

that'll push the blood away from your brain

and toward your feet.

So you'll probably pass out,

unless you're one of those fighter pilots

who trained to withstand up to five G's.

Now if you don't pass out, you may worry about

the freezing temperatures up here.

But it turns out your suit's

more likely to melt than freeze.

You know how you can warm your hands

by rubbing them together?

Now imagine your super-suit rubbing against

air molecules in the atmosphere at least six times

the speed of sound.

You'll heat up to about 1,650 degrees Celsius.

Hot enough to melt iron.

In fact, the heat is so intense, it strips electrons

from their atoms, forming a pink plasma around you

that will ultimately destroy your suit.

If that's not enough of a problem,

the drag will rip off your limbs.

But thankfully Tony Stark has your back

and somehow your super-suit holds with you in tact.

At 41 kilometers up, you've now reached the world record

for highest skydive.

In 2014, Alan Eustace wore a pressurized spacesuit

as he rode a balloon up to this height.

He broke the sound barrier on his way down

before deploying his parachute.

And landed about 15 minutes after the drop.

But you'll be falling much faster than Eustace.

About three times the speed of sound.

So in reality you're not going to slow down enough

to safely deploy your chute.

That's where Iron Man can help us one last time.

By one kilometer up, you've reached the territory

of ordinary skydivers who don't need fancy suits to survive.

At this point, your parachute can do what it does best,

and it's finally time to land softly.

Do This in case of a Wild Animal Attack - Duration: 9:04.

Today we're going to look at 9 of the most dangerous animals and teach you some tips

on how to stay alive if you should ever cross paths.

It might not have huge teeth or slashing claws, but the African Cape Buffalo is terrifying

all the same.

Unlike most prey animals, a Cape Buffalo will not run from a fight, choosing instead to

turn and face a threat head-on... or horns-on more accurately.

If faced with a charging buffalo, your best bet is to find the nearest tree and climb

it.

If there are no trees around you, however, and you happen to be armed, you're going to

need nerves of steel.

That's because Cape Buffalo can reach speeds of 35 mph (56 kph) when charging and are so

powerful that nothing short of a shot directly to the brain can stop one mid-charge.

With a 4.5 inch wide brain (12 cm wide), you have to hold your ground and wait until it's

about 65 feet away (20 meters), when a buffalo will typically drop his head in preparation

of goring you with its horns.

This will give you a clear shot straight to the brain, and your only hope of surviving

the attack.

If you're hanging around Cape Buffalo, then it's probably good to know how to handle the

next animal on our list: the lion.

Surprisingly, most predators actively avoid getting into fights or attacking strange prey

because they don't want to risk unnecessary injury, and an unfamiliar prey might have

defenses the predator doesn't know or understand; any injury, no matter how slight, might spell

death for a predator by leaving it unable to hunt.

Therefore, a lion, while still dangerous, will rarely ever actually attack a human.

Instead it will charge at you once or twice in what are known as 'mock charges'.

These are meant to test your nerve; if you run, it will signal to the lion that you are

weak and would make a good snack.

Your best bet is to maintain eye contact with the charging lion and never break it, slowly

backing away and responding to the mock charges by spreading your arms and shouting, making

yourself appear bigger and signaling that you are not afraid and ready for a fight.

More than likely, the lion will break off the attack and try to find something easier

to munch on.

Continuing our tour of Africa leads us to the second most powerful cat of the savannah:

the leopard.

As solitary hunters, leopards are far more cautious than their lion cousins and thus

much less likely to attack you.

In fact, leopards are some of the least aggressive predators because they need to stay in peak

physical condition in order to hunt, and will not take any unnecessary risks that might

injure them.

However, if you accidentally stumble across one as it is feeding or is with its cubs you

can expect the leopard to attack.

In the event of a leopard attack, don't run or back away, instead hold your ground and

make as much noise as possible, clapping your hands and shouting.

More often than not, the leopard will decide you aren't worth the risk and will leave you

alone.

Next up is another African icon, the elephant.

Surprisingly fast runners, elephants can reach speeds of up to 25 mph (40 kph).

While typically pacifists, elephants kill an average of 500 people a year, and the two

times an elephant is likely to attack is if it is with its young, or when a bull undergoes

must, a reproductive phase during which the elephant is flooded with testosterone and

is extremely aggressive.

Much like a lion, elephants will typically do one or two mock charges; it's important

then that you hold your ground and make lots of noise, as running will trigger the instinct

to chase.

Don't try to climb up a tree as elephants are very powerful and will tear most trees

down, though sometimes hiding inside a hollow one or hiding behind it may be enough to discourage

the elephant.

As an absolute last option, play dead while protecting your head with a bag or other item,

the elephant might lose interest, hopefully without stomping on you first.

The next animal on our list is bar-none the most dangerous in all of Africa: the hippopotamus.

Surprised?

Don't be!

Hippos kill more park rangers, hunters, and tour guides in Africa than lions or elephants

combined.

Extremely aggressive and territorial, they may be herbivores but their six-inch long

tusks are able to crush bone and rip flesh apart.

With a top speed of 18 mph (30kph), your best bet if attacked by a hippopotamus is to run.

Once committed to an attack, standing your ground or trying to make yourself seem big

and loud won't scare one off.

These are animals that other apex predators are so afraid of that hippo young are known

to play amongst feeding crocodiles and even nip at them without retaliation; the crocodiles

are fully aware of what an angry mother would do to them.

Dogs are man's best friend, except when they are wild or feral.

Feral packs of dogs can be extremely dangerous, and can be found in a surprising variety of

places, from the streets of Mumbai in India to Dallas, Texas.

In May, 2016, a pack of feral dogs attacked a woman in a Dallas neighborhood, biting her

over 100 times.

As the most likely of all the animals on this list for you to encounter, it's important

to know how to spot an attack and protect yourself.

If faced with a pack, look for the smaller or less aggressive members to start fanning

out around you while the alphas face you head-on.

This signals that the pack is getting ready to attack as they will try to hit you from

multiple angles at once.

Your best bet at this point is to climb something tall, like an electrical box or the roof of

a car.

If you can't get away though, curl up into a ball and make your hands into fists to protect

your fingers, then cover your face and neck with your arms.

Not very likely to kill, the dogs will quickly lose interest and move away.

The Great White Shark- easily the most feared animal in the world, yet the least likely

to ever attack you.

Once known as man-eaters, it is now known that sharks actually dislike humans as prey,

and often attack only due to cases of mistaken identity; a thrashing swimmer or surfer on

a board can often look like a seal from below the water.

Despite their enormous power and size, Great Whites actually kill the least amount of humans,

and almost always give up an attack after only a single bite, when their taste buds

kick in and tell the shark: "yuck, this isn't a seal!".

If you find yourself face to face with an attacking shark though, your best bet is to

not thrash around, as you'll mimic injured and vulnerable prey.

Instead, make your way to shore calmly and slowly, keeping eye contact with the shark

at all times.

As ambush predators, if the shark doesn't think it can get the jump on you, it might

abort the attack altogether.

If it does decide to attack though, thrash and punch as hard as you can; despite the

popular advice of going for the nose, remember that right underneath that nose is a mouth

full of razor-sharp teeth.

Instead, try going for the gills to avoid putting your hand straight into the shark's

mouth.

As the world's most successful reptile, crocodiles are found almost everywhere that humans are

and attack an average of 2,500 people a year.

Having been around almost as long as sharks, crocodiles seem to have reached evolutionary

perfection all the way back during the age of the dinosaurs, when their distant cousins

were the size of school buses and regularly made a snack of even the mightiest dinosaur!

The best way to survive a crocodile attack is to never be attacked at all.

But if you find yourself in its clutches, you only have one hope: go for the eyes.

With the strongest bite in the world at a mind-blowing 5,000 pounds per square inch,

you would need a hydraulic jack to pry open its jaws, and with a scaly hide thick enough

to deflect lower caliber bullets, even a gun might not help.

Like a fully armored knight, the eyes offer the only weak spot in its armor, and a good

jab will often make a crocodile immediately let go of its prey.

Thanks to habitat loss, outdoor enthusiasts are finding themselves increasingly more often

face to face with aggressive bears.

As you're not on the menu though, most of the time a bear will prefer to avoid you,

so your best bet to avoid an attack is to make lots of noise as you travel through the

forest, so as to let bears know of your presence.

If you do find yourself dealing with an aggressive bear, don't run or climb; as the old adage

goes: you'll only die tired.

Bears can run up to 35 mph (56 kph) and climb better than any human.

Instead, stay calm and slowly walk away, but if an attack does come immediately, roll up

into a ball with your stomach towards the earth and your hands protecting your neck.

Because bear attacks are not predatory behavior, the bear will only continue the attack as

long as it thinks you are a threat; So, despite your instincts, don't try to fight back.

Instead, continue playing dead and stay that way, even after the bear leaves; Grizzly bears

are known to loiter around an area for up to 20 minutes to ensure a threat is truly

neutralized.

It can be confusing to remember which animals you should try to scare off and which you

shouldn't, so your best bet to avoid a wild animal attack altogether is to stay at home

And it's certainly not enough time

for a goalie to react and respond.

So goalies can't solely rely on their speed and agility

to save a penalty kick.

Instead they have to pretty much guess

which direction to go and rely on either luck

or game theory.

Game theory is a popular strategy in economics

where the outcome of a situation relies more

on how well you predict your opponent's actions

than how you perform your own.

So since the goalie has no choice but to guess,

they're better off guessing logically than randomly.

That's where economists come in.

which was the perfect opportunity for Chelsea

to put Huerta's advice into action.

Along with several pointers Huerta

had given Chelsea's goalie

a key insight about Manchester United

star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo would almost certainly kick the ball to the right

if he paused on the run-up.

And the advice worked.

Ronaldo indeed paused and indeed kicked the ball

to the right.

Chelsea's goalie followed Huerta's advice

and made the save.

Ultimately Manchester United won the game,

but despite Chelsea's loss,

it was clear that economists and statisticians

can help even the odds when it comes to penalty kicks.

Because otherwise, it's a crap shoot for the goalie.

In 2014 for example,

FiveThirtyEight calculated that 72.5% of penalties

in World Cup history went in.

For all competitions worldwide,

it's even higher.

And when you take a closer look,

it's no wonder.

Human response time takes roughly 1/10 of a second

to kick in.

The average kicker kicks a 70 mile per hour ball,

which means the goalie won't even register

the ball's direction until it's about 25 feet away.

It will take him another .5 to .7 seconds

to react and reach for the ball,

but by that point,

it's all over.

Now the goalie can improve the odds

if they start to move before the ball is even kicked,

but the goalie still has to basically guess a side

and just go for it.

So if time is the goalie's enemy,

maybe we should just move the penalty kicker further back.

But for now, economists are a goalie's best friend

when it comes to stopping penalty kicks,

and turns out, Huerta is helping a team

in the 2018 World Cup,

though he wouldn't tell us who.

The Ending Of Ant-Man And The Wasp Explained - Duration: 4:26.

After the soul-rending gut-punch of Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp is like an afternoon

trip to Baskin-Robbins.

It's colorful, splashy, and fun, without too much emotional weight.

"Hiya champ, how was school today?"

(laughs)

Still, that definitely isn't to say that everything got a neat resolution at the end of the movie.

True to form for Marvel films, Ant-Man and the Wasp ends on a slippery slope covered

in cliffhangers and unanswered questions.

Well, grab some orange slices and watch out for tardigrades, because we're diving deep

into the Quantum Realm to clear up some of the nagging questions you might have had after

seeing Ant-Man and the Wasp - obviously, spoilers ahead.

Wasp evolution

Clearly, the Quantum Realm is a crazy place.

We first saw how bonkers it is in the first Ant-Man, when Scott Lang nearly got lost after

shrinking between the molecules of Yellowjacket's suit.

It gets even worse when Hank Pym takes his Innerspace bus into the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man

and the Wasp.

Here's a rough reenactment:

"Here we go!"

Once Hank's in there, he almost immediately starts losing his mind.

Thankfully, Janet shows up just in time to fix him with her new quantum powers.

So… what was up with that?

As Janet briefly explained, the three decades she spent in the Realm forced her to evolve

in some strange ways to deal with the madness of the Quantum Realm.

Part of that evolution apparently gave her the ability to influence quantum particles.

When Hank got lost in his own mind, she basically guided him back to sanity.

Quantum healing

Most of the story arc involving Ghost, a.k.a. Ava Starr, deals with her search for a way

to cure her quantum phase-shifting condition.

Her powers made for some visually amazing fight scenes, but her character is also in

constant pain and inching closer to the grave with every moment.

So that part's not good.

To end her suffering, Ava concocts a plan to ambush Janet Van Dyne on her way out of

the Quantum Realm and siphon Janet's stored quantum energy.

To do so, she uses a sleep chamber built to help stave off the effects of her condition,

although nobody ever explains exactly what it is.

By all appearances, it's designed to focus or manipulate quantum particles.

In a pinch, though, it can apparently draw particles into itself.

It turns out that there was no need to fight about it though, because Janet is more than

happy to cure Ava.

Infinity fallout

In case you still haven't seen Avengers: Infinity War, fair warning: We're about to get into

some tiny spoilers here.

By the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp, everything's been patched up in the Ant-Man universe.

And then like a punch to the face, the mid-credits scene came along to remind us that this happy

little Ant-Man universe actually exists within the big, mean MCU, where Thanos beat the Avengers

and dusted half the universe.

As the first mid-credits scene shows for an instant, Hank, Hope, and Janet are now on

the list of finger-snap casualties.

Shrinking timeline

With that major connection to Infinity War, it's worth taking a moment to clarify the

timeline of everything that happened in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Despite being released after Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp takes place before the

events of that film.

Right before it, by all accounts.

The movie doesn't mention how much time has passed between the main film and the mid-credits

scenes, but however long it was, that time gap essentially contained Infinity War.

When Scott jumps into the quantum tunnel, Thanos is presumably finishing up his gauntlet

over in Wakanda, putting the ending of both movies at just about the same moment, chronologically.

But this connection also leads to some interesting new developments for Infinity War.

Marvel mastermind Kevin Feige has been pretty up front about that.

"Ant-Man and the Wasp also connects directly to Avengers 4.

These characters are gonna be very important going forward."

If that's the case, then there's a good chance that all the fallen heroes in Infinity War

will make a comeback.

It could be that Hope, Hank, and Janet - along with the rest of the casualties of Thanos'

finger snap - weren't destroyed outright, but instead transferred into the Quantum Realm.

And speaking of that place...

Lost in the quantum realm

Ant-Man and the Wasp certainly left one of its heroes in a big cliffhanger.

When the Van Dynes disintegrated while Scott was in the Quantum Realm, he apparently got

stuck there.

Not only are the people who know how to get him out gone, but they're probably also the

only people who even know he's in there.

That opens up an interesting possibility: After spending a long time in the Quantum

Realm, Janet Van Dyne learned how to manipulate quantum particles.

If Scott spends enough time sandwiched between realities, he could feasibly develop the same

ability.

That would give him a definite upper hand against Thanos in the future, especially if,

as fans have speculated, the Infinity Stones are somehow tied into the Quantum Realm.

Man Selling 6 Year Old MCDONALD'S For Reason You Won't Believe - Duration: 3:28.

n Ontario man has kept a cheeseburger and fries from mcdonalds on his shelf for 6 years.

Now he is selling them on ebay and the reason will definitely surprise you.

Welcome back to IO, I'm charlotte dobre.

We all know from films like supersize me that mcdonalds has so many preservatives in it

that it doesn't go bad.

Well Dave alexander has proved this once again because he kept a mcdonalds meal he never

ate from 6 years ago on his shelf.

Back in june of 2012, he asked his daughter to buy the meal for him as an experiment.

He had heard that fast food burgers don't go bad for years and wanted to find out if

it was an urban legend.

Apparently, flies wont even go near it.

He lives in the country and he says he has never seen a fly land on this old burger.

This story gives a whole new meaning to the old mcdonald song.

Old mcdonalds on a shelf, ee eye ee eye ohhh.

If you eat it youll have bad health, ee eye ee eye ohh.

Dave posted the old mcdonalds meal on ebay with the description 'original owner, never

eaten' surprisingly decent looking still.

The fries look like they were purchased this morning.

The burger itself has darkened a bit.

The bun is about as hard as a hockey puck, but it looks just like its brand new cosmetically.

Yummy.

He posted photos of the burger alongside photos of another burger that was homemade that he

has been keeping for 5 years, you know, just for comparison.

I have to admit, the homemade burger and fries looks naaasty.

So why does Dave want to sell his old mcdonalds meal?

Well he is moving into a smaller house and he is downsizing.

So he needs to get rid of it.

Essentially he wants to continue the experiment, and the person who buys the burger from him

will keep it going.

Still though, Why would I wanna buy old mcdonalds when I can get new mcdonalds and leave it

on a shelf like dave for a few years.

But dave believes the quote un quote, petrified burger is sellable, and he is goignto assume

someone is going to rehome his cheeseburgerThere are literally people selling jars filled with

farts on ebay, assuming because there are people buying jars filled with farts on ebay.

So, the burning question,how much can you expect to spend on this 6 year old mcdonalds?

The starting bid is 29.99, which is more than 5 times what he paid for the meal 6 years

ago.

Get this though, at the time of this recording there have been 21 bids on the old mcdonalds,

and the current going price is 76 dollars.

76 DOLLARS FOR OLD MCDONALDS GUYS.

Buy American? Trump's 2020 Campaign Gear Is Being Made In China - Duration: 3:47.

Donald Trump likes to pretend that he is the most patriotic person that you will ever meet

in your life.

He's gone as far as actually physically hugging the American flag on stage after giving a

speech.

He's actually done that several times.

Now, aside from the fact that he doesn't know the words to the National Anthem or God Bless

America, America the Beautiful, anything, really, he likes to say that he cares about

American workers, he cares about the American economy, and after all, he just wants to make

America great again, which is a phenomenal slogan that he has plastered on hats and shirts

and even on American flags.

But here's the thing.

All of those goods that sport that MAGA tagline, they're not being made here in the United

States, and all of the ones for the upcoming Trump 2020 campaign are also not being made

in the United States.

According to a recent report, Trump's 2020 reelection gear has been traced back to a

factory in China, meaning that even in 2020, after convincing us to buy American, use American

labor, America, America, America, Trump is still having his campaign gear manufactured,

designed, fabricated in China and then shipped over here to the United States for people

with very low IQs to go scoop up at the low, low price of probably $50 per hat.

This is ridiculous at this point, folks.

These people out there who wear the MAGA hats, they wear the MAGA shirts, they got the MAGA

bumper stickers covered in American flags, as well, all of that crap is being made in

China.

This man that you think is just the greatest American that America has ever America'd,

is getting all his crap from China.

And it's not just the campaign gear.

It's everything that bears this man's name.

It's all being manufactured overseas.

You're all being duped, and none of you even take the time to look at the little tag that

comes on it to see where it's being manufactured.

Trump doesn't care about American laborers.

Trump doesn't care about American workers.

Trump doesn't care about the American economy as long as he's making money.

He continues to outsource labor because it's cheaper for him.

He saves money.

He doesn't have to spend as much, even though spending a few extra dollars here in the United

States would generate more tax revenue, it would help our schools, our police officers

that Donald Trump claims to love, our fire departments.

We could invest in an infrastructure, which Trump says desperately needs to happen.

And yet he, just like so many other in the 1%, aren't willing to pay for any of that.

They would rather ship all their production overseas, make a few extra dollars, save money,

cut corners, not deal with regulations that keep workers from dying on the job, and then

come back to the United States with it and sell it to people who don't know any better.

And that is exactly what the MAGA crowd is, a bunch of people who are being duped by a

conman who has turned them into a cult, because they didn't see it coming.

And I guarantee you, as the months go on, we're going to see more and more people sporting

these MAGA hats, MAGA shirts, American flags, and I hope that every one of them takes a

few seconds out of their life to look at the tag and realize that all of this crap was

made in China.

it shows why it matters to live in welcoming communities. In this video,

individuals are going to explain what others may misunderstand about them at

first glance. They give tips on how to ask questions, appropriately, and ways you

can get to know them better if you want to learn more about their abilities.

-Yes, a lot of people think that just because I have a lot of pain

or cognitive issues that I don't do, I shouldn't do much of anything for myself so,

maybe that I don't go on trips or do anything fun. But that's not true, 'cuz I can do

that, I do do that, and I want to do that. And I can do it on my own too!

I've gone to Alaska by myself, which was very very fun. So I enjoy, I

still enjoy doing things and I'm still able to do things even though I hurt.

-When I'm going through a "spell" [seizure], that they might

understand what I'm going through. They can't feel what I'm feeling. Maybe

sometimes they can't see, you know, what what's happening in my brain, of

course, but they might, they can misunderstand. They might think, "That's weird,

what is going on with her?" But it's just the feelings that I'm having

in my head from the spells. The non epileptic spells I'm experiencing.

-I think that people can easily think that I'm

okay, um or not understand that I I'm in pain when I'm smiling. Or, and I understand

it's a foreign concept for most people you know, usually pain equals crying or

something like that, but with the coping mechanisms that I've learned to deal

with the pain, it can be hard for people to understand. "How are you, like,

walking around and smiling, but also saying you're in pain?"

-So yeah, I would say during chemotherapy, just, I changed completely. I couldn't do my everyday

routine of just waking up, getting ready, going to work. -Taking care of the dogs. - Coming back.

Couldn't take care of the dogs at all. Couldn't even cook for myself. -Okay.

-Couldn't even make meals. Just you were just so weak, and so sick to do anything.

Couldn't even eat. Even eating was too much work.

-It's very tiring to use

crutches [laughter]. -I'm sure! -And it takes a long time to

recover from a surgery. And I think that, a lot of people understood that, but I

think, you know, once I was, you know, moving around up and about on my crutches

more, I think it kind of looked like I was getting back to normal. But, I'm still

working on my range of mobility. It sounds like, "Oh you just have a broken

leg!" But really it was super challenging, and it was a longer road to recovery than

just if I just had a cast on. -Sure. -It was a kind of, it was a more

challenging break. -mm-hmm. -Plates in my leg, and pins.

-The thing that I, I struggle with most especially even in the field of, even applying for jobs when

I was working, was thinking are they seeing beyond my disability? -Sure. -Or do they see my ability?

-I think they feel like, a lot of people that don't know me that I am completely disabled and I

cannot reason or think for myself, but being in a power chair just means that

my legs and lower body does not work, and I can think for myself.

-I think sometimes people will talk louder. You know, "Heeey you need help?" No, I'm not Deaf, I'm just Blind.

But, um I think it's more of, I think them having a fear of what to say, what to do, how to treat a

person, and I'd just, just treat them like anybody else.

-People misunderstand that just because I

use a wheelchair that is the most difficult thing I deal with.

-She, she is listening, and she is intelligent, and she does have expressive language with the

right devices [laughter]. -She does have things to say! -And it's

not tragic. -It's not tragic, yeah.

I mean I'm definitely positive. For like, it's not some kind of fake or facade or whatever.

-People automatically assumed that if I could not ride my

horse, or do things outside, or do things spontaneously that other teenagers were

doing, or attend social events that I was not having fun. They automatically

assumed that I would be inconsolable and depressed, and I found things to enjoy,

and I, I really had a good first fall of my freshman year even with the changes

in my ability to engage.

-I would say probably that we're just like everybody else. Right? So, we have the wheelchair thing

going on, um we're married, like everybody else we have to manage our household and

our finances, and we want to grow our family, and you know, we have opinions

about, you know, things are going on in the world around us, and just like you do

and you know yeah we're not, not that different. -Right.

-I'm just a, I'm just a normal man, trapped in a, trapped in a disabled man's body. And like, I have all the same

worries. I have all the same struggles, I have all the financial worries. I have all the

same fears, you know, I'm no different than you are. It's just like the

extra challenges I have to go through. But I'm pretty much the same as every 20 year old

that's like, trying to figure life out.

So, I think a better understanding

of the fact that things are much better today than they were say 20, 25 years ago.

It's certainly 74 years ago when I first started with a

disability. So, they have to understand as I say, the world always making changes

and always making gains hopefully for the better.

-I would encourage a person to look for a person's ability rather than their disability. -Mm-hmm.

And see beyond, see beyond what is on the surface. Like with me, see beyond my eye blindness

and see what I actually can do.

Here are 12 people who've lost billions of dollars!

12 - Masayoshi Son SoftBank, Japan's largest telecom and internet

company, was founded by Masayoshi Son, a serial entrepreneur and the richest person in Japan.

However, he has the distinction of losing the most amount of money in history as he

lost nearly 70 billion dollars in the dotcom crash of 2000.

When the internet bubble burst, shares of Softbank went down 98%, and that's what

affected Son's net worth so much!

However, he's still far from broke.

In 2017, Forbes ranked him as the 82nd richest person, and as of January 2018, he has a net

worth near $23 billion.

Softbank has a controlling interest in American telecom company Sprint and is planning to

separate its Japanese and international businesses into two companies.

Even though he's taken the biggest loss in history, let's just say this guy is still

winning in life heavily right now!

11 - Elizabeth Holmes Back in 2014, Theranos and its CEO, Elizabeth

Holmes, were on top of the world.

At the time, Theranos was a revolutionary company founded by Holmes, and she was hailed

as a genius who styled herself as the female Steve Jobs.

Holmes was the world's youngest female self-made billionaire, with a net worth of around $4.5

billion.

Then it all came crashing down.

The shortcomings and lies of Theranos's technology were exposed, along with the role Holmes played

in covering it all up.

Holmes was charged with fraud, and the company was forced to close its labs and testing centers.

In 2016, Fortune named Holmes one of the "World's Most Disappointing Leaders".

Fast forward to 2018, and Holmes is broke!

In June 2018, there came the news that Holmes is reportedly looking for investors for a

new startup.

As part of her settlement with the SEC, Holmes agreed to give up financial and voting control

of Theranos.

And while she can't be the CEO of a public company for 10 years, she's still allowed

to be the CEO of a privately held company.

But really, should she be trusted with money so soon after THIS debacle?!

10 - Allen Stanford Robert Stanford was the chairman of the now-defunct

Stanford Financial Group of Companies.

At his peak, he was worth more than $2 billion but in 2018, his net worth is now zero.

Well, that's not too surprising given the fact that his company, Standard Financial

Group, was found running a massive ponzi scheme.

In early 2009, he became the subject of several fraud investigations.

Afterward, he was charged by the SEC with fraud and multiple violations of U.S. securities

laws for an alleged massive ongoing fraud involving $7 billion in certificates of deposits.

A former Stanford financial executive told SEC officials that Stanford presented hypothetical

investment results as actual historical data in sales pitches to clients.

The massive Ponzi scheme was finally revealed and Stanford was found guilty in 2012.

Stanford is now serving a 110 year jail sentence, so it doesn't really matter whether he's

worth 10 million or negative 10 million!

9 - Adolf Merckle Adolf Merckle was Germany's fifth richest

man and the world's 98th richest man at one time.

In March 2008, his personal fortune was estimated at $12.8 billion by Forbes.

Merckle has kept a low profile throughout his whole life.

Well, as low a profile as a billionaire can anyways.

He lived so modestly that he bicycled to work on a 15-year-old bike for most of the year,

and in bad weather, he drove a four-year-old Volkswagen Golf.

Merckle had parlayed a family business in chemicals into one of the biggest pharmaceutical

wholesalers in the world.

He founded Ratiopharm, a maker of generic medicines that became a recognized brand itself.

However, this is where the story ends.

In 2008, his investment company faced a liquidity shortage during the financial crisis.

Because of the financial crisis, banks demanded more collateral and called in loans early.

In order to keep his company afloat, Merkle put up his own personal assets as collateral

for a bridge loan, and he agreed to sell Ratiopharm in order to pay down his company's debt.

The worst was when Merckle decided that shares of Volkswagen would fall in late 2008.

However, Porsche's support of Volkswagen sent shares from a little over 200 euros to

over 1000 euros in less than two days.

This resulted in losses of hundreds of millions in euros for Merkle.

Unfortunately, Merkle decided to end his life during this financial crisis of his life.

His family said that he had been "broken" by his losses even though he still had $6

billion left.

He only left a note in which he apologized to his family but offered no concrete reasons

or motives.

8 - Eike Batista Eike Batista fell a long way.

At his financial height, he was the richest man in Brazil.

At the lowest…..well….. you're about to find out.

He made his money largely through Brazilian natural resource companies, but he also ran

up a lot of debt.

When his businesses crashed in early 2012, so did his net worth, as it fell all the way

from an estimated $35 billion dollars to less than $300 million by July 2013, which is a

drop of more than 99% of his original net worth!

In 2014, Bloomberg reported that Batista had a negative net worth though, and he agreed!

He was later quoted saying that his net worth was approximately negative $1 billion dollars.

Interestingly, after a priest suggested to him that, "everything he had taken has to

be returned in some way and this could be done by a ritual showing gratitude.

So Batista decided to toss gold coins worth more than $150,000 into the ocean.

Well, that didn't work, because he's still taking losses, as he was sentenced to 30 years

in Jail in July of 2018!

That's gonna be tough to come back from.

7 - Alberto Vilar Back before the internet bubble burst, Alberto

Vilar and his Amerindo Investment Advisors company made lots of money investing in young

high-tech companies.

The thing about owning a lot of stock that's worth a lot is that it's only on paper.

Owning a bunch of stock in hot startups that skyrocketed up means that things could skyrocket

down just as quickly.

At one point, Vilar had an estimated net worth of more than $1 billion dollars.

Well, those were the good times.

By 2008, he was convicted of multiple counts of securities and ultimately sentenced to

nine years in prison.

Vilar had a problem with wanting fame and recognition, as he gave hundreds of millions

of dollars to the world's greatest opera companies and charities in exchange for his name on

plaques.

In addition to the millions he already gave, he pledged much more.

However, he ultimately fell short in many promised donations as his money troubles piled

up from his spending.

A lesson to steer clear of fraud is obvious, but just as important is the lesson to not

give away hundreds of millions of dollars when the money coming used is straight from

investors.

6 - Pollyanna Chu In March 2018, Pollyanna Chu lost her title

as Hong Kong's richest woman after her listed company became Asia's worst performer for

the year thus far.

Her company was worth almost $12 billion back in January 2018.

However, more than half of her net worth was wiped out as her company's stock crashed

throughout 2018.

Well, at least it's just a on paper loss.

Paper valuations are always a glass half full or half empty situation, depending on which

way you wanna look at it!

Her company, Kingston Financial Group, operates businesses including Macau casinos and margin

lending.

The stock tumbled 50 percent ever since Hong Kong's securities regulators warned investors

that the company's shares were overly concentrated among a small number of stockholders.

FTSE Russell, one of the world's most-followed index providers, removed the stock from its

benchmarks.

Despite her paper losses, Chu is still moving forward.

She's taking a 17 percent stake in a record $5.2 billion deal to buy shares of a Hong

Kong skyscraper.

5 - Vijay Mallya Vijay Mallya isn't a household name in the

United States, but he's quite well known in his native India, where he was the wealthiest

liquor baron and owned the now-out-of-business Kingfisher Airlines.

He was reportedly worth around $1.5 billion at one point but he lost his fortune largely

because of massive debts, lavish spending, and of course, financial fraud and money laundering.

As authorities were getting close to charging him, he left the country.

After saying he wanted to move to Britain to be closer to his children, Mallya left

India in March 2016 and by the way it looks, he doesn't plan on returning.

Once called the "King of Good Times" because of his extravagant lifestyle, Mallya and his

companies have been embroiled in financial scandals and controversies since 2012.

A group of 17 Indian banks is still trying to collect approximately $1.3 billion in loans

he has taken out.

His passport has since been revoked, and he's living in exile in the UK.

Authorities are still attempting to extradite him to India so he can face the music.

Well, when you're a multi-billionaire, you're almost bound to lose a few billion, so we

had to include him on this list.

In early 2018, Facebook's co-founder and CEO lost roughly 6 billion dollars in stock

value when reports that Cambridge Analytica, a firm hired by Donald Trump's campaign

during the 2016 U.S. presidential election, improperly used the social network's user

data.

Zuckerberg probably wasn't too concerned about the loss though.

He and his affiliated organizations still own approximately 403 million shares of Facebook

stock worth around $68.5 billion.

Zuckerberg isn't exactly hurting.

Facebook as a whole took a financial hit as a result of the reports, losing $35 billion

in market value.

Her personal property is valued at somehow a little more than $16 million dollars.

She claimed to owe roughly $6 million dollars to her 16 creditors but stated that she wanted

to file Chapter 11 to avoid liquidation of her assets.

She estimates the value of her wardrobe to be only $1,000 and the value of her jewelry

at $0.

She said her jewelry is worthless, despite often being seen in public wearing a 32-carat

diamond ring.

Something doesn't quite add up here, but I'm sure the courts will figure it out.

What we don't get is how she managed to lose billions of dollars!

10 Symptoms of Pneumonia

Pneumonia is a pulmonary condition in which there is inflammation of the alveoli, i.e.

the microscopic air sacs in the lungs.

Infection by microorganisms (viruses and bacteria of different kinds in most cases), intake

of certain drugs, and autoimmune diseases are all potential causes for one contracting

this condition.

It can affect just about anyone, from infants and children to adults and the elderly.

The incidence of death due to pneumonia is highest among the elderly, many of whom succumb

to it.

Depending on the cause of the infection, pneumonia can be treated effectively as long as it is

diagnosed in time.

Thus, it is crucial to be aware of the various symptoms of this condition so that if they

do manifest, one can seek medical advice and begin treatment.

Here is a list of 10 symptoms associated with pneumonia.

Fever Most pneumonia patients do contract fever

at some point in time during their illness.

The fever may be mild or high, depending upon which microorganism is responsible for pneumonia.

If the fever is low, over-the-counter medication may in itself be enough to provide relief.

In more mild cases, it usually takes two to three days of medication—be it over-the-counter

or prescription drugs–to completely subside.

If the patient's temperature exceeds 102 degrees Fahrenheit, consulting a doctor as

soon as possible is recommended.

Chills Those who have a temperature due to pneumonia

also tend to suffer from chills.

In cases where the infection is severe, and fever is high, the chills produce an almost

violent shuddering in the patient.

Keeping the body covered in full clothes and blankets also does not provide much relief.

However, if medication is taken timely, the shaking chills are among the first symptoms

to disappear.

Nonetheless, fever accompanied by chills indicates that the infection is more than mild and thus,

self-medication is not a wise option.

Cough Another classic symptom of pneumonia is a

cough, which may or may not be dry (not producing phlegm).

In most cases, coughing is the earliest sign to make an appearance and can last for several

days after the course of medication is complete.

In cases where phlegm is present, yellowish or green mucus is coughed up.

In rare, severe cases, patients may even cough up blood.

If the latter scenario occurs, medical help must be sought immediately.

If a cough is mild or moderate, cough medicines should be avoided for they decrease the mucus

removal that coughing contributes to achieving.

Labored Breathing When there is inflammation of the alveoli

in pneumonia, their gas-exchanging functionality is naturally compromised.

The alveoli are unable to extract sufficient oxygen from the air, which thus produces the

feeling of breathlessness.

Many times, when shortness of breath is observed in a patient, his or her condition is misdiagnosed

as bronchitis, which produces similar symptoms but requires different treatment.

When the shortness of breath doesn't go away, the doctor may then recommend a chest

x-ray, which is one of the few definitive ways of distinguishing pneumonia from bronchitis.

Chest Pain A very common symptom of pneumonia is chest

pain.

It usually manifests as either a sharp, stabbing pain or a dull ache, either of which occurs

when the patient is inhaling or exhaling.

Medically, this is termed "pleuritic chest pain," which primarily denotes that the

linings (pleura) surrounding the lungs are inflamed.

When the infection spreads to the pleura, they rub against each other during breathing,

thus causing the chest pain.

It is typically localized either on the right or left side of the chest, depending upon

the site of pneumonia.

Body Aches Many patients complain of experiencing various

body aches upon contracting pneumonia.

Some develop muscle pain, while others feel stiffness in their joints.

The exact relationship between these body aches and pneumonia is somewhat unclear, even

as these symptoms are quite widely prevalent among patients.

Over-the-counter painkillers may be used to obtain relief from the aches, though it is

recommended that professional opinion is sought before doing so.

Bluish Skin In severe pneumonia cases, certain areas of

skin may begin turning blue.

Usually, it is the lips or fingertips that start to get discolored.

This is a sign of a medical emergency, for it signifies that there is a severe lack of

oxygen supply in the blood; the pulmonary infection has begun to impede vital bodily

functions and, if not treated, the consequences could be fatal.

When pneumonia occurs in infants, this risk is all the more increased.

Thus, babies suffering from pneumonia must be carefully observed to monitor for their

skin turning blue; if that occurs, the infant must be rushed to the hospital immediately.

Nausea and Vomiting In some instances, pneumonia patients may

also suffer from nausea, which may or may not lead to vomiting.

Though this is not a classic symptom, it does occur in a few patients, often leading to

confusion about the diagnosis.

The exact reason that pneumonia causes nausea is not well understood.

Relief can be achieved in the early stages of treatment if the diagnosis is accurate

and the medication is suitable for the type of infections.

However, if nausea or vomiting persists, individuals should report this symptom to their doctor.

Diarrhea As the nausea and vomiting, diarrhea is an

atypical symptom that affects very few pneumonia patients.

In most patients who have diarrhea associated with pneumonia, this symptom subsides gradually

during treatment.

What is certainly noteworthy is that if a pneumonia patient has diarrhea, the infection

is more severe and thus requires immediate medical attention.

Self-medication in such cases is extremely ill-advised; visiting the doctor as soon as

possible is the right course of action.

Confusion, Fatigue, Malaise When individuals develop pneumonia, their

immune systems work overtime to contain and eliminate the infection.

This over-stimulation of the immune system causes much physical energy to be consumed

quickly.

As a consequence, individuals tend to feel tired and sickly, often turning irritable

The confusion or lack of mental agility is also symptomatic of low energy levels and

less oxygen supply within the body (due to inefficient pulmonary functioning).

whatever it is in the business you have to incorporate some type of like social

about social media marketing is that it is incredibly time consuming like it's

very time consuming but for me there's no other choice you have to do it right

today's marketing is you've got to get on social media Instagram YouTube are my

even take a look at it maybe for a younger demographic but in my eyes it's

still still very relevant but to hustle it's all about hustle my day starts at 7

morning every single night and that's why it's also important to love what you

do right because if you love what you do then the possibility of sustaining that

much volume of work is very high there's no way I could do that if I didn't truly

love my company and the industry there's zero I have no chance like forget it

it's over right that's too much work but with that love of the industry and of

what I want to do like I can I can manage it it's good ok so the reasons I

have many questions from a nail technician so they start they Instagram

let's say and they don't have much following and then they get this one

negative comment and they you know completely distract and they're like no

I don't want to do this so do have an advice for beginners? yeah that's is

such a great point and on that topic that's the number one thing that we hear

from nail technicians is like I don't want to post because people are gonna

say bad things or they'll actually remove the negative comments because

they don't want to hear it and we tell them like who cares what some random

individual in the world says about your work you absolutely have to post your

work daily you got to post it daily you're gonna get negative comments

there's no way around that so that's a reality of social media is the negative

comments are gonna come it's just part of the game right and so you have to you

got to get adjusted with that reality it's part of the social media game I've

had oh my god I go onto YouTube and go read the comments there are some

about me that are so nasty and so gnarly does it hurt if I'm being honest

sure for about two seconds I'm like oh I don't like that comment but very quickly

I refocus and like I'm trying to build my business you're trying to build your

business as a nail technician or a salon you cannot get caught up in those

negative comments you got to move on so do not get wrapped up with it just let

them come you got to move on and it's a reality of it so like get out you got to

get over it and the regarding not social media but in general you know also nail

technicians afraid of competitions they say like there's so many nail techs out

there I'm not gonna you know succeed so what do you think about that yeah so I

would challenge you to find a business that does not have a lot of competition

so you don't like the competition the nail industry okay go work for a company

and try to work your way up in that company guess what there's competition

there's other people fighting for that spot to go start another business try

that and see if you're the only one that's going to be there running that

business the reality of the situation is any business that you get into there's

competition us is a nail manufacturer we have competition that is so fierce and

we have to deal with it every single day as a salon yeah there's going to be

competition everywhere you know what it's very possible that maybe maybe

you're not cut out for it in order to succeed in this business you got to deal

with the competition in any business yes it's fierce you've got to deal with

it you've got a stomach it and you got to figure out a way this is where

creativity comes into play like this is why I love competition because when

competition comes your way and you got to deal with it you have to then force

creativity how can I be more creative in my business in my marketing and my

communications in my skill set in my nails how can I improve to make my

business better petition is good it's not bad it pushes

you to the limit which is why it is so absolutely necessary so embrace

grow the brand really for us it's we want to we want to put I know this

sounds insane but we want to put more contents out into the market so and

we're gonna differentiate that content so we have our core content right now

but over the next three years you're gonna see more content I was kind of I

was actually talking to you off camera as well like there's some plans to do

different types of content and to the nail industry we love the nail industry

we want to continue to help it grow and flourish and for us to be a you know

sort of a a channel into just more content to help develop the industry

that's our goal so the the plans over the next three years more content
