Trying to be Funny [Storytime Animation] - Duration: 2:16.
Heyo!
This is something completely new to me, so uh, don't obliterate me please.
SO ATTEMPTING TO BE FUNNY.
HHHHHHHHH IT'S WAY HARDER THAN MOST PEOPLE THINK.
Ok so in the real world life, I am usually capable of cracking jokes and making my buds
laugh.
But when it comes to strangers, or even online peeps, I just can't!
Or better said, I can...
It just feels a lot riskier.
Uh, a few examples, are, well, the Let's Play videos I got on this channel
If you were to watch through them, you would join me and cringe
at how poorly I try to make commentary along with a few jokes.
It's just.
Ugh.
Such good material destroyed by lack of self confidence!
But you know what?
That's fine, it's fine, I'm fine!
I'm not fine But to be fair, you guys have to admit that
trying to be humorous in general can be super duper awkward.
Here, let me give you an example:
So I was hanging out with a few of my friends at lunch.
We were just talking and all that, y'know, cause that's kinda what you do when you're
done with your lunch at lunch time.
Now everything was all fine and dandy, if I'm correct we were talking about ASL, because
that's a class we all had together, and during that little pause in the conversation
that every conversation has, I just spoke out; "I mean, if you ask me, I think that
ASL is pretty handy."
"Anyway, so I think that it might be useful in the future-"
Yeah ok fine, don't respond, I'll just sit here and pretend that I didn't try to be humorous.
(Mumbling) I don't care...
AUGH I HATE THAT ALOT Not because I think that I'm the absolute
god of comedy, and that everyone should laugh at my jokes.
YOU SHOULD But because of how akward it feels to know
that people heard you, but choose not to react to it.
So you just sit there thinking to yourself; Did I do something wrong?? or Was it really
not that funny???
But you know what?
No.
I refuse to fall victim to an awkward situation like that again!
I'm going to train my humor!
Alright Humor!
Show 'em what you got!
(This is so sad, Alexa, play Despacito)

Gareth Bale : Manchester United working to agree signing of €150million star | Transfer News #mufc - Duration: 2:31.
Manchester United have been interested in signing Gareth Bale from Real Madrid for a
long time now, and the latest reports suggest that they are in talks to make him their fourth
signing of the summer.
According to Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are working to sign the former
Tottenham Hotspur superstar, and talks have reached an advanced stage.
Bale is arguably one of the best playmakers in the world, but the key dilemma is that
he has mainly been on the treatment table in the last 2-3 years.
Read: Mourinho attacks, willing to offer €70m to sign star for Man United
In the 2016-17 campaign, the Welsh international had major concerns with his calf, and ankle
and in such a scenario, he only started 17 times in the league for the Los Blancos.
Last season, Bale missed a handful of games due to his problematic calf.
Still, when fit, he was absolutely fantastic for the Spanish giants.
Overall, he scored 21 goals and provided 7 assists in 39 appearances.
Not to forget, he was awarded the MOTM prize for his stunning performance in the Champions
League final against Liverpool.
The 28-year-old attacker is one of the five players who have won the PFA Player's Player
of the Year award on two occasions and in my opinion, Bale is exactly the kind of marquee
signing that Mourinho needs in his team to battle Guardiola, and other rivals for the
PL title.
We can expect the former Spurs star to partner the likes of Alexis Sanchez, and Romelu Lukaku
in the attack, if he does end up moving to the Old Trafford club.
Back in May, renowned Spanish source El Confidencial reported that Real Madrid want €150million
for their prized asset.

3 Manchester United issues solved over the course of the World Cup - Duration: 6:25.
3 Manchester United issues solved over the course of the World Cup
The World Cup, the showpiece event that all football fans so eagerly wait for has delivered again and given us all further reason why this month-long tournament is seen as perhaps the most prestigious event in all of football.
In terms of club football links, the Premier League leads the pack with Tottenham having the most players represented in the last 4 of the World Cup at 9, with Manchester United a close 2nd with 7 players still representing them in Russia.
Last season, United finished 2nd in the Premier League, and though finishing 2nd behind a City side of that calibre is not bad by any stretch of the imagination, Jose Mourinho and Manchester United evidently had a few issues last season.
Over the course of the World Cup, however, some of those pressing issues seem to have been solved.
With some of United's key players hitting a purple patch through the course of the World Cup, Jose Mourinho will be hoping that they can do the same for his side once the new season begins in August.
#1 Paul Pogba's creativity.
Kicking off this list is Manchester United's marquee Frenchman.
After a frankly underwhelming season where he was again unable to reach his own sky-high standards, Paul Pogba will be hoping to return to the next season of the Premier League in his best form.
The way things are going so far, it looks like that's just what he is going to do.
He hasn't scored or assisted a goal so far, but you would be foolish to judge his game merely by his numerical stats, for if you watch any of France's games so far, you can see Pogba chipping in everywhere, and most importantly, doing just as much as he needs to.
Rewind to calls for him to be dropped from the France squad after poor performances in France's pre-World Cup friendlies.
Fast forward and look at him now. France have marched on to the World Cup final, and Pogba has been one of the best performers for Didier Deschamps' side.
He has combined with other star names such as Kante, Mbappe and Griezmann with terrifying effect to lead the Blues to the final in Moscow.
One thing drastically different that Pogba has in the France setup is a system suited more towards his strengths, with either Blaise Matuide, Corentin Tolisso or N'Golo Kante providing extra defensive cover, allowing the towering Frenchman to do what he does best, attack and create.
If Mourinho is able to replicate a similar system for him in the Premier League, expect Pogba to gain the consistency he has so often fallen short of during his time at United so far.
#2 Romelu Lukaku's form and leadership skills.
After joining the Red Devils from Everton at the end of the last season, Romelu Lukaku had a good first season at Old Trafford.
For Belgium too, the big No.9 has seemingly taken his game to the next level, leading Belgium to secure their place as one of the top 4 sides in the World Cup.
Scoring 4 goals so far, and putting in brilliant performances, Lukaku has been a bundle of pace and power at the top of the pitch, with his physicality and technical prowess proving too much to cope with for many-a-team at the World Cup.
The Belgian's excellent individual work which led to Belgium's 2nd goal against Brazil stands as another piece of evidence for the same.
While Jose Mourinho will no doubt be pleased with his performances, there is another factor which Lukaku has showcased that he is improved at, his leadership quality.
With the outgoing Michael Carrick, Mourinho faces the dilemma of selecting a new club captain, and looking at Lukaku giving rousing team talks and showcasing maturity way beyond his years, Mourinho could do a lot worse than handing it to Lukaku.
#3 Emergence of Ashley Young as a set-piece taker.
Consistent set pieces have become a problem for the Red Devils over the course of the past few seasons.
Flashback to the times of Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham, when there was no question about who would be taking a corner or free-kick.
Marcus Rashford, Daley Blind, Juan Mata, Antonio Valencia - the list goes on for the corner takers from last-season.
Disappointingly, however, on more occasions than it should, the ball delivery has failed to beat the first man.
However, so far in the World Cup, Ashley Young has shown that he could be the man for the job.
He has put in tons of good deliveries so far through the course of the World Cup, and provided the ideal service for his teammates in the box, even getting an assist after putting in an inch-perfect cross for Harry Maguire's opener against Sweden.

I wasn't being racist when I fired Transnet director: Gordhan - Duration: 2:06.
I wasn't being racist when I fired Transnet director: Gordhan
I wasn't being racist when I fired Transnet director: Gordhan.
In a blistering attack, Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan has spelled out the reasons for firing Transnet director Seth Radebe, saying he plainly ignored evidence of state capture that cost the parastatal billions of rand.
In court documents seen by Times Select, Gordhan says Radebe's actions – or perhaps rather inaction – amounted to "dereliction" and were "indefensible".
The minister also rejects Radebe's accusations that he was racist in his decision to keep Lana Kinley – who has since resigned – on the Transnet board, while he fired Radebe.
"The overtures of [Radebe] are racist, unkind and unfair in concluding I was racist in retaining her.
Race had nothing to do with this," Gordhan states in court documents.
He axed Radebe because of his failure to take action in response to an investigation into Transnet's dodgy procurement of 1,064 diesel and electric locomotives from four original equipment manufacturers.
Gordhan was responding to Radebe's court bid to challenge his dismissal and reverse the removal of the Transnet board, which will be heard in the North Gauteng High Court next week.

I tried Amazon's controversial facial recognition software - Duration: 6:33.
What you're seeing right now is what my face probably looks like to a facial recognition
software.
It detects common features in a face, keeps track of them and creates a unique profile.
You probably know this technology already, it's used on social media a lot to identify
people in photos.
But facial recognition is also used by law enforcement.
Amazon has been criticized recently for selling their recognition software to police departments
because many civil rights organizations like the ACLU believe this could easily lead to
violations of civil and human rights.
They fear police could use this system not only to track criminals but also to identify
innocent citizens.
Well, because anyone can use Amazon's software, I decided to see for myself what the software
can do and how it works.
Big IT companies have been working with governments, military and police for years but after Amazon
was recently criticized by shareholders for their visual analysis software "Rekognition"
there has been a new controversy about tech companies and law enforcement.
"Rekognition" is part of Amazon's Web Services and it can analyze images, videos and live
streams to find objects, scenes and faces.
It then generates labels based on the image content along with a confidence score.
The score is a number from 0 to 100 that indicates the probability that a given prediction is
correct.
The labels can be for example people, food, animals or vehicles.
This is the web interface of Amazon's Rekognition and it's possible to do a demo right on the
website.
Once a photo is uploaded, the software will analyze the contents and produce the labels.
Normally these results would be machine readable code but this demo also generates human readable
results.
Although it didn't work for every image I tried, this detection was quite accurate.
Most of these labels seem to describe the scene correctly.
The facial analysis feature returns attributes like gender, age, emotions, beard growth and
glasses.
It can analyze up to a hundred faces in one image.
First I tried the facial analysis with a stock photo of a family and it worked correctly.
Rekognition can tell emotions like happy and sad and the software even detected the babies
age and gender, which seems pretty impressive.
I also tried the facial analysis with a LEGO crowd and it actually detected faces.
It even analyzed attributes like glasses correctly although it had trouble with the genders of
the figures.
Face comparison and facial recognition are probably more interesting to law enforcement.
Face comparison measures similarity by comparing one face to up to 15 faces in one target image.
Facial recognition on the other hand is able to perform a real time search against collections
with tens of millions of faces.
For the face comparison feature, I cropped out the head of a woman and told the software
to look for this person in a similar photo.
This example would still be possible for a human because of the small crowd size but
the algorithm really pays off when comparing millions of photos.
It found the woman, even though her head was at a completely different angle.
The result are the precise X and Y coordinates in the image where the person was found.
Most of this is not only possible with photos but also with videos and live streams.
It's obvious that this is mostly intended for surveillance footage.
Video Analytics is able to track people within and across shots even when the camera is in
motion.
The software returns a bounding box and the face, with timestamps whenever a specific
face is in frame.
Again, this works in real time and can search collections with tens of millions of faces
and by explicitly highlighting this fact, Amazon seems to be actively marketing to law
enforcement.
To demonstrate the video analysis capabilites, I uploaded stock footage of people walking
by.
The software returns the faces it recognized and where in the video they are visible, indicated
by the yellow bar above the player.
Amazon Rekognition can also recognize text in images and detect adult content.
The capabilities for automated mass video surveillance certainly exist so it comes down
to a moral standpoint if Amazon continues to provide governments with this technology.
I doubt the protest of a small portion of shareholders will be enough to change Amazon's
mind because there is a huge potential for profits.
And Amazon is by far not the only one working like this, Microsoft for example worked together
with the US immigration enforcement to manage and analyze data about the identity of people
in real time.
Google is trying to end a project with the US Defense Department that helped recognizing
objects from drone videos.
Recognition technologies by themselves aren't the problem, in fact they are definitely needed.
The amount of video content websites like YouTube already have to deal with today is
far more than any reasonable amount of human workers could filter.
But the relationship between technology companies, law enforcement and military are in my opinion
a valid cause for concern, especially because this market is only going to get bigger with
more precise algorithms and too few people seem to care.

giant M&M in hospital - Duration: 10:12.
This week has just ... this month, it's not even a week, has just been so huge!
I was making a giant M&M but life life is messy ... stuff happens and I feel
like I can't put this video up without filling you in with all the crazy stuff
that has gone on over the last few weeks. So thank you all of you who have been
following the channel and seeing our comments on the videos we put up over
the last couple of weeks. Thank you for all your support and your prayers, we
really appreciate that. So we're basically, where to begin ... at the
beginning. My eldest son had an operation booked in
that's been booked in for a long time ... not complicated it was about a week
stay in hospital and he came through that so well, swimmingly well, he got out
after five days everyone was saying he was doing amazingly. He had less pain
than anticipated, it was really really good and then we came home. Next morning
he woke up in intense pain and started vomiting and swelling and by the next
night he had fevers of 39C and we brought him back in and it turns out he had a
hospital-acquired infection with a bacteria which is resistant to most of
your standard antibiotics. So they had antibiotics they knew that it should
respond to but the next week and a half two weeks it's all blurred all the days
are blurred ... filled with complication after complication and
bleeds and it was just a mess. Like at the lowest point I was sitting outside
the surgery, the surgeon came out halfway through ... I'm not going to cry ... Ok I'm good I can do this ... okay
surgeon came out so yeah the lowest point was when he had to have a second
surgery to drain all the internal bleeds, his lung was infected with the bacteria.
They were testing during surgery whether his heart was infected they weren't sure
whether it was or wasn't. A surgeon came out halfway through to say the
anaesthetist was concerned about him ... didn't think he was doing well during
the operation and they might have to take him up to the intensive care ward
afterwards depending how he tracked in recovery so they had another two-hour
wait after that I could see him and hold his hand and know that it was okay and
that was probably the lowest point for me ... probably not his lowest point he
could tell you stories of intense pain and stuff that's gone on that's just
been huge. But he's a trouper he's so, so determined and so strong and in recovery
he pulled through well enough that we could go back to the ward and so that's
where he's been since on really strong antibiotics,
waiting everyday and we feel like every day they say he needs to be here for at
least a week and the weeks are not becoming days. But he is progressing!
Hey, it's been a long time in hospital but I'm slowly getting better should be home in not too long.
By the time this goes up I truly hope that we're back home but for the moment
I've just been in here with him and Dave's at home with the other two boys
doing a champion of a job looking after them and thank you to everyone who's
dropped meals over for Dave and the boys and supported them while I've been in
here with James I really thank you, thank you, thank you! So that's um yeah
and before all this started I started making a giant M&M ... so I'll show you how
to do that now and they'll come back and tell you what we're gonna do with it 💕
To make the hard shell I'm going to use pastillage -- and for that we need icing
sugar, glucose syrup, water, gelatin and a pinch of cream of tartar and all those
recipe quantities will be on the howtocookthat.net website and there's a
link to that below. Take your gelatin and tip it into the water and immediately
stir that around. The water needs to be cold not hot.
Once you have stirred it all in you want to leave that to absorb all the water.
After a few minutes tip that into a larger bowl and then add the glucose
syrup on top. Then you want to heat that in the microwave until it's melted, you
need the bigger bowl when you heat it because the gelatin bubbles up when you
heat it up. Place the icing sugar and that cream of tartar into the bowl of an
electric mixer, turn it on and add in the hot gelatin mixture. Now you can mix this
by hand if you don't have an electric mixer it just might take you a little
while. Once it comes away from the sides and forms a ball tip it out onto the
counter and quickly knead it just to make sure it's smooth now this stuff dries
out fairly fast so as soon as it's ready put it into an airtight plastic bag
until you're about to use it. Next you want 2 bowls that when you put them
together they create a shape that's a bit like an M&M shape. Grab your bowls
and give them both a spray with cooking oil and then dust them with a generous
amount of cornflour. Now you just use your hand to gently rub it so that you
have a smooth even thin layer of cornflour
all over your bowl without any clumps or gaps. Roll out the pastillage and check that
it's big enough to fit the size of your bowl and then spray the top with a thin
layer of cooking oil just to stop it sticking to itself. Now use your rolling
pin to lift it up and place it over the bowl. Now quickly just lift and lower it
to get rid of any creases so that you line the bowl smoothly just like you
would if you were lining a pie dish with pastry. Then you want to cut around the
outside with a knife and leave that for about a week to dry out and set hard.
James is gonna be in the hospital for a week (first operation), so I'll just leave this here on the
counter and come back to it then. 1 week later and James is home from his
operation and doing really really well (So I thought at the time 😞) so I'm filming this while he's playing
PlayStation with Matt. The shape of this outside shell is a little bit flatter
than I wanted probably needed a slightly rounder bowl but this will be fine. I'll
pop that back into the bowl for support and fill it up with melted chocolate.
That is a lot of chocolate I'm gonna have to leave that to set overnight ... look
at that! Half an M&M now I'm gonna slightly
overfill the second half so we don't have any gaps inside our M&M and then I'm
just gonna flip the first full half and place it on top. This is gonna get a
little bit messy there we go. It is important that you try and line
the two halves up straight cuz once it's set it's not gonna move anymore. I also
have Jedd sitting in here with me reading he's getting so good ... n.a.v.i.g.a.t.e ... navigate! That's a big word.
Once that is set you can clean up any of the chocolate that's on the pastillage,
just scrape it off first and then once you've got most of it, just use some
warm paper towel to get the last bits off and then you can tip your M&M shape
out of the bowl. Now that looks pretty good but I'm not happy with the way the
shape is pointy around the edge. The good thing about pastillage is that it's
hard enough that you can scrape bits off it so I'm going to use a knife and use
that just to shave it back and flatten that around the edge. If you've
got a perfect bowl shape for this you might not need to do this but if you're
like me and the bowl is not quite right then you can just give it a little bit
of a carve to get it how you want it. Once you're happy dampen the edge and
put a really thin layer of pastillage over the chocolate that you can see, then
use a small bit of baking paper to smooth it down onto the existing shell.
Place the whole thing into a box just to protect your counter. Cut out an M and
add that on top and then spray it using food colour that's in an aerosol can you
can buy these from most cake decorating stores. Now I'm running out of this colour
I've used it for something else before so I'm gonna have to get some more in
the morning to do the other side. And when I'm looking under the M here I can
see some of the spray has gone underneath. So when you make this I'd
suggest using 'Contact' or thick sticky tape sort of thing, so that when you put
it on no spray can get under there. If you do have this problem that I've got
though you can just clean it up using a wet paint brush ... you can just basically
wash off the blue food colouring from where it's not supposed to be. Now my
plan wants to go buy more of this spray and finish it in the morning but I
didn't know that I'd be driving James to the hospital at 3:30 in the morning with
a fever and that that's where we'd be staying for the next few weeks! As I told
you the story at the start it has been really rough and crazy ... so fast forward
several weeks and that gets you to today. So now that James is a little bit better
I'm still staying here with him (in hospital) because he still needs help with
different stuff so I'm here with him and he's well enough now that I can
leave the room for a little while. So Dave has brought in the M&M for me and
the blue spray because I ordered another can of that online so my plan is
to finish that here at the hospital ... finish making the giant M&M for you.
I cannot guarantee the film quality so I might step to film it on my iphone but yeah
it's been a journey! I'm forever gonna remember this giant M&M as being
intertwined in this journey so now you can too. But if you wouldn't make one of
these for your friends they will make a great gift and I think we'll probably
give it to someone at the hospital who has been helpful through James' journey of recovery.
Mum said I could give it to who I wanted so I said I'd give it to you. "Oh thank you".
You were there in some of the worst nights! "Some pretty hairy times!"
That's amazing!
I love it! Thank you so much.
Thank you!

'I saw my house sink': Japan takes stock after deadly rains - Duration: 6:46.
'I saw my house sink': Japan takes stock after deadly rains
After the waters had receded and the sun finally made an appearance, Ken Kirioka was contemplating the personal cost of the heaviest rainfall Japan has experienced in more than three decades.
Kirioka looked on helplessly as rescue workers dug their way through the mud that had crushed homes in the mountainside town of Kumano in search of the missing, including his 76-year-old father, Katsuharu.
"He is old and has a heart condition," Kirioka said. "I prepared myself for the worst when I heard about the landslide," he added, pointing to a pile of mud and rubble where he believed his father had been buried.
Kirioka conceded there was little chance of his father, or anyone else missing, being found alive across a region where the death toll from floods and landslides triggered by days of record rainfall this week has risen to more 200, with about 60 people still unaccounted for.
On Friday, as the prime minister, Shinzō Abe, made his second visit to devastated areas across west and central Japan, the government vowed to quickly rehouse the displaced and begin the long task of rebuilding shattered homes, businesses and infrastructure.
The 7,000 people living in shelters, and 250,000 others whose homes are without water, face a new threat – the arrival of summer heat and humidity.
"We'll cut through all the bureaucracy to secure the things people need, to improve life in the evacuation centres, such as air conditioners as the hot days continue, and then secure temporary housing and the other items people need to rebuild their lives," Abe said this week during a visit to a shelter in the town of Kurashiki, where at least 40 people died.
Dressed casually and stopping to kneel and talk to evacuees, he said the government had secured temporary accommodation for people whose homes had been damaged or destroyed and pledged 2.
25bn yen (£15m) for the immediate relief effort, and financial support for local authorities as they begin the task of rebuilding devastated populations across central and south-west regions.
More than 700 houses were destroyed or damaged, and more than 23,000 were flooded, according to the fire and disaster management agency.
Television footage of upturned vehicles trapped in mud, homes reduced to rubble and people marooned by muddy water brought to mind the scenes that followed the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami, Japan's deadliest postwar natural disaster.
While the number of casualties is much lower, the damage is so widespread that reconstruction, like that following the tsunami seven years ago, is expected to take years rather than months.
While 75,000 members of the self-defence forces, fire service, police and coastguard continued the search for survivors and bodies, questions were being asked about Japan's ability to withstand extreme weather events.
Modern Japanese towns and cities have been built to withstand earthquakesof magnitudes that would cause significant damage and loss of life in other parts of the world, but the floods have exposed serious flaws when it comes to heavy and prolonged rainfall.
The rains are the deadliest weather-related disaster in Japan since two typhoons struck in quick succession in August and September 2011, killing almost 100 people.
The death toll is higher than that seen in 2014, when 74 people died in landslides caused by torrential rain in Hiroshima. In 1982 landslides killed more than 300 people in the Nagasaki area.
The government's leading spokesman, Yoshihide Suga, said Japan had been unprepared, particularly in populated strips of land in mountainous areas, where landslides are a constant threat during heavy rain.
"It's an undeniable fact that this sort of disaster due to torrential, unprecedented rain is becoming more frequent in recent years," he said.
"We recognise that there's a need to look into steps we can take to reduce the damage from disasters like this." In 2001, municipalities were required to share hazard maps that showed areas considered most vulnerable to flooding and landslides, but many towns and villages were built in those same disaster-prone areas before the maps were drawn up.
Some of this week's deaths occurred because residents ignored evacuation warnings, either because they had lived through heavy rainfall before or because they had no idea where to go.
On Friday, emergency workers continued to brave the mud and heat, while vehicles carrying clothes, water and other essentials struggled to negotiate badly damaged roads in an attempt to reach isolated communities.
In the Mabi district of Kurashiki, residents took stock of the damage. "I saw my house sink underwater and there was nothing I could do.
I felt helpless," said Fumiko Inokuchi, who fled to safety on the upper floor of a nearby nursing home as she watched water inundate her home.
"I got married here, and we built this house two years later," the 61-year-old said, fighting back tears as she clutched an old photo of her children playing baseball. "We raised our three sons here. there are so many memories." .

Lego The Incredibles review – knockabout, if slapdash, superhero fun - Duration: 4:22.
Lego The Incredibles review – knockabout, if slapdash, superhero fun
Compared with other Lego film tie-ins, this game feels slightly B movie – but with teamwork and other added Pixar characters, there's enough to engage your inner crimefighter.
The family-friendly, good-humoured Lego games have fallen into an unfortunate pattern since the film franchise series started way back in 2005: some titles definitely feel like B movies to the main attractions.
While the likes of Lego Star Wars, Lego Marvel Super Heroes and Lego Lord of the Rings are jammed with wonderful characterisations and detailed level design features, Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Pirates of the Caribbean felt rather less … loved.
Lego The Incredibles wobbles and falls into the latter category. With a storyline that merges both Incredibles movies into one rather tortured narrative, this is very much Lego by numbers (or Lego by instruction booklet).
Controlling each member of the Parr family, employing abilities from Mr Incredible's brute strength to Elastigirl's rubber limbs, you solve puzzles, beat up enemies and destroy the scenery to earn studs, which can be spent on unlocking new additions to the cast.
It's a formula that developer Traveller's Tales has rarely strayed from and when it works, it works.
When playing co-op with another person in the same room, learning how to combine characters' powers is a lot of fun – especially if the other person is a child figuring out how to solve video game conundrums for the first time.
There are also new group-build sections, where players need to work together to construct giant Lego buzz saws and fire extinguishers. It's a very modest gameplay addition, though, and does little to broaden the familiar experience.
Other characters from the Incredibles and wider Pixar universegives fans of the films more to look forward to – you can even unlock Dory from Finding Nemo, who floats surreally in a little ball of water.
This is also a good interpretation of the Incredibles visual style. The luxury yachts, TV studios and tropical islands you explore are lushly coloured and have a 1960s comic-book vibe that mimics the aesthetics of the Pixar films.
The central city of Municiberg has a retro-futuristic vibe, and provides a place for players to explore and get involved with mini-quests and crimefighting diversions – though it doesn't compare with what you'll find in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2.
Everything about Lego The Incredibles feels a little second-division. The narrative, which deals with the second movie first before going back to the original, is slapdash and disorientating; there are noticeable visual bugs and glitches throughout.
However, like almost every Lego title, there are enough funny cinematics, cool little features, and engrossing puzzle-solving moments to keep children playing.
The combination of knockabout humour and object-smashing action still works, even though the whole Lego game model is starting to creak at the foundations.
It'll take quite a masterwork to truly revive the golden days of Lego Star Wars – but for now, the Lego production line is still doing just enough to appease fans who know what they want and don't mind not getting much more.
Lego The Incredibles is out on 13 July; £41.

A STORY OF WEIGHT
My son
Throughout my childhood, I have been severely overweight.
My parents were absent in their own way
My mother raised me from the bed as she suffered from depression
She did her best to provide as good
an upbringing as possible that a child could have.
Which in my case became chips and candy
and food until I became happy and satisfied.
My dad was a gambling addict
and wasted away
the family money.
Instead of giving the love a child needs
so I got love in the form of food and sweets.
I can remember that I looked at my body as a..
as a threat to myself.
Something that was
a punishment for who I was.
This was my..
My pain in life, having to walk around with such a body.
When I looked at my body in the mirror and I saw my
My overgrown breasts hanging down on my stomach,
hanging over another stomach that came across my genitalia
which came down over my legs.
I had to hear harsh words
I remember every word
someone told me
every little mockery
somebody did to me.
I was spat on, I was beaten, I was mocked.
But I was also the one who bullied.
I was the one who struck first, the one who said evil things first,
to protect myself.
At this time
I looked at this as my debt.
this was.
my heavy in life.
It was my fault
I can recall when I was between
Seven and fifty years of age
Every night I prayed 'our father'
with a desire to become normal
like my friends
like everyone else.
I prayed to God to receive
the power to succeed to loose the weight
that was needed.
I did not want to be bullied I did not want to be exposed
I wanted to be safe in myself, but I was not.
I was afraid of the body I had.
Not until I was
thirteen, fourteen years old, I could
understand the reality I lived in.
Then I met my first reality check
It was the first time I saw a dead man.
It became
a shock.
It was here that I realized that, shit.
I need to do something with my life.
I realized
life is the real deal.
When I faced death
When I saw the man dead
When I saw blood everywhere
I realized that life could end.
What was the life I wanted to live?
Would I be the fat guy? Or Hassan Mouline.
Who was Hassan Mouline?
I wanted to be the one in my mind
I wanted to find myself
I was not the one I was.
In here my journey started.
From
200 kilos to...
normality..
Its about
50...
50 meters long
I ran here
back and forth over and over again.
I started walking my feet
With music in the headphones..
Pump in the blood, the will.
I ran back and forth..
It was and is a sense of freedom to come down where everything began..
To be myself..
I feel a great
joy and euphoria
to be down here
and recall my journey with pride
of what I have done.
My parents were in denial
To the doctors they said that we
ate fruit and vegetables every day of the week.
We did not eat sweets, we do not drink sodas.
That was not the reality.
Hassan: Do you want coffee or tea? Anni: I want coffee thanks.
Hassan: I take tea.
Hassan: Excuse me Anni: Ah sorry.
Hassan: I soil everywhere..
Hassan: When I grew up and the feelings I had then there was helplessness.
I got the food that was served,
and I could eat non-stop..
and you were not honest with the healthcare.
It became so...
You and dad, for my sake, lied and said that we had it better than what it actually was.
Anni: It was shameful, very shameful.
Of course.
Feeling unsuccessful as a parent.
All love in the world can not
cope with
the bodily part
you were big.
overweight.
When I had
and your dad overweight issues.
Each time the salary came
That day there would be something extra
with any other kind of food.
Like, fast food
Because I liked candy myself it became candy as well.
If I had, you should also.
Hassan: Instead, we filled up with candy and chips.
Anni: I come from a peasant family, where my grandparents were farmers.
there has always been.
Much of everything, suger in all foods.
You remember that? Sugar in pasta,
sugar in everything.
I ate the wrong way; I eat breakfast, but no lunch.
I ate dinner but not large portions. Because I had no hunger.
but instead I filled up with sweats and chips.
Something like that.
I had nothing to help my body,
together with all the medications.
Hassan: You got your depression
that you had all the time.
Anni: I got burned out becouse I tried to keep the family happy
and I took over my bosses job.
sadly.
It was too much. No rest.
Always a fight against the clock.
Against money and time.
How to solve that?
That was
not a bigger help
and I got scared when I saw you gaining weight.
That broke me as well.
I had a hard upbringing
with mockery and obesity.
I did not want you to
have the same issues.
People looking over the shoulder, laughing, pointing and saying stuff.
My son should not have it the way I had it.
With a hard upbringing.
With hits and such.
That's why it turned over from my side;
with love.
Hugs I had to learn when I had you.
That did not exist in my home. Hugs whats that?
Nobody said that they loved you.
You got more
and it became too much.
Hassan: Got too much Anni: Yes.
Anni: Excessively much.
Hassan: You want only the best. Anni: Yes.
Hassan: and when the best is not what is needed.
Anni: Exactly, sadly. Hassan: Then it becomes hard.
Anni: You become narrow minded.
Like walking threw a tunnel.
You can not see anything.
Anni: For me it was two important things
He would never be hit the way I got hit.
both by parents
and others.
Hassan: You did not think it was hard to see me loose weight?
Anni: No, I was proud.
I did not want you to have the way I had it.
You just had started your life.
I did not want you to continue
being the one people stared at
laugh at.
When I were at my biggest
people still stops and laugh
Who do not understand, you do not do that.
Even as an adult, laugh and point.
Very proud.
My heart.
My smurf.
My dad was absent,
he comes from a different culture
it became harder for him
To see his son become, huge and overweight
He distanced himself
and be tough in our meetings
but we found each other on another place.
A place where we find each other even today.
Which is the Petanque (Boule).
Hassan: Remember that time when I was....
how old was I on that picture when my tooth got knocked out?
Abbe: Remember? You were about 3 years old.
Hassan: What is that?! Abbe: That is luck!
Hassan: Yeah that is luck...
Abbe: 4-2
Hassan: You were not overweight when you arrived in Sweden.
Abbe: Not overweight, I was born strong..
In my home country, Morocco.
We do not have chips all the time, you know, you have been there.
We have nuts and stuff
that is more healthy.
Chips is very rare.
I never had chips on a friday and saturdays at home.
When I went to the cinema, small bags
and sodas 33cl,
25cl, that is nothing.
You do not take a whole bottle and shug.
1.5L
Hassan: 1.5L a day.
You became too nice to me in my upbringing.
There was sodas, chips non-stop.
Becouse...We...
Honestly, it was my first child.
I had no freaking idea, and I had no idea
how they raised children in Sweden. They never tough us.
How to raise them.
Abbe: Only one point
Thanks.
Hassan: We always had petanque since I was a child.
Abbe: Yeah Hassan: When did I start?
Abbe: You?
Abbe: About 2-3 years of age.
You had really fun, in the beginning
you played around thinking it was marbles.
You just threw and threw
Ops, is still my turn!
Hassan: I always wanted to sport, but I couldn not.
Abbe: I remember.
I saw you kicking ball
I was on the baclony
looking at you, thinking..
Abbe: And the first time I saw you playing football (soccer) for real.
Is is still stuck in my heart.
I was standing on the side, screaming
I was used to go with my nephews , to see them train.
Their kids.
But when I saw you for the first time
I got proud, really proud.
I hope you still have the shirt with "Mouline" (last name).
Hassan: Yes I do!
Abbe: You have done it good, you have succeed.
You have gotten to a point in your life
where all you have built yourself
without anybodys help.
That I can say.
I have not helped you to become better.
You solved it yourself.
You learned yourself.
That I am very proud of,
your life, and I hope you continue that way.
We have lost a lot of time together.
Hassan : That is time we have to take back.
Life is about forgiveness.
Abbe: You forgive me?
Hassan: Of course.
Abbe: Love you. Hassan: Look to the future, and play boule.
Abbe: Eh, now? Lets play!
Abbe: I hope your sister also want to play!
Today is Monday the 29 of June.
12 days left
until I will be on stage at
Tammerpokalen.

When I was little the doctors made an
inquest on the hospital
where they said I would never
become "normal" size, I would always be obese.
This if for the doctors that showed me wrong.
uugh, time to eat!
It feels good to have this opportunity
to fade away my head
playing while walking.
DAM IT they scored on me.
A thought that comes to mind
why do I do this?
Why bodybuilding?
Its becouse
I wanna find myself.
Good morning, good morning.
Today it is 8 day left
util stage time.
Everything is getting together.
The posing looked really good yesterday.
Such a lovely feeling.
All the stress
that I had inside is gone.
Everything was the way I wanted it to.
Unbelievable feeling of calm.
My girlfriend..
Got the big honour..
To shave my body...
Now I am smooth like a baby.
But HUNGY!
Oh lord I am so hungry.
That the lord can write down.
Lettuce, Cucumber and Cod...
That is whats on the menu.
With some protein powder..
Well
I am doing my best.
Now I am gonna go on stage and explode like a atom bomb.
Thanks for today.
Today its...
what is it...
Today its the 5th of July Sunday.
6 days left
until
Tammerpokalen
One more time.. On the floor, out with the arms..
In, slowly.. Out..
Show the leg, curl biceps.. Be happy.
Look at the hands.. Keep on stretching the leg..
Up and PAM
and then the eyes up, with a smile..
Release hands and out..
PAM, after that PAM
PAM
Follow the hand and PAM
PAM, show the back..
Sidechest
Show the back
Pump to the music The audience goes nuts
PAM PAM PAM
end there and if I can
thank the audience
Can be good..
Hello
Now it is..
3 days left..
until Tammerpokalen.. I will eat..
200 gram potato
with 100 gram of cod
every other hour from tomorrow..
No water intake..
and salt as well
No salt, no water what so ever..
I have loaded myself with salt and water
So that you bind the carbohydrates
so that the muscle
will be swole on stage.
200 gram boiled potato..
It was so good just to hang
yesterday with my mum..
But right now I am just tired
and not the best company.
Today its..
2 days left.. until Tammerpokalen..
I have eaten 0 carbohydrates
Since Sunday..
Sunday... Monday..
Tuesday, Wednesday
and during these days I have eaten a lot of salt
and
drunk about 10 L of water.
So tonight I have peed every hour.
and from today (Wednesday) until saturday I will have Zero water.
To become as hard conditioning as possible.
One hour until next box of food..
Clothes in the laundry
So I can have some clothes tomorrow..
all my clothes is in the laundry
bad planning..
Almost done..
My goal today is to stand on the stage
of Tammerpokalen
I will stand on a
Bodybuilding-stage. My first presentation on the stage.
A bodybuilding- contest.
And after that contest
Show everybody else that you can go from
extreme obesity to stand on a bodybuilding stage.
Endrit: Excited?
Hassan: Yeah!
Hassan: I woke up every hour
Got up, checked the mirror, ate a potato
a potato,
got back to bed, 2h later
another potato
and checked the mirror.
It feels nervous! But fun!
It is exciting
Not really know what I have embarked on..
Hungry, thirsty.
A lot of feelings at the same time.
So far it feels really good!
I have been tired
but now
the energy is coming back, so its just time to push on!
The feeling when you get into the gym and get the real pump
that is so addicting. It is awesome.
And it is fun to have this contest as a goal.
The people
that is inside the sport, they understand.
To go threw such a tough period, and then show it for everybody,
Showtime!
The bodybuilding bubble can
look very scary for people outside the bubble
but for me I look at it with happiness.
We are a family. We support each other.
To go threw such a tough period 90 days
Plus, minus 100 days,
to get to the stage is tough.
Welcome to Tammerpokalen.
This year they have split the backstage area
until two sides, we are 100 plus coaches.
So about 200 people that is why we have to make a little change
another room for the afternoon competitors.
Man yells: Time to get back for information
This year
your color will be checked.
There will be paper,
to check if you are dry.
Everything has to be in perfect detail.
Everybody that does
this journey, knows how heavy it is.
That is why its so unbelievable
support to each other;
backstage, before the stage and on the stage
I remember watching over and over
on the Rocky movies
and my favorite one, Rocky 4, when he fights Ivan Drago.
and in the end of that movie Rocky says:
If you can change, then I can change, everybody can change!

Tami Has A Revelation About Her Confrontation w/ Evelyn | Basketball Wives - Duration: 2:43.
- When you said this domestic violence [bleep],
that kind of like crossed a line.
- We had a conversation many years ago
where that woman said it was an accident.
So don't sit up and pretend that you're the victim.
You know it was a fraudulent situation.
- Wow. - They were arguing
over condoms, he accidently did that
'cause they were tussling with each other,
the neighbors saw her, and they called the cops.
And had they not done that, she would still be with Chad.
- Oh, my God. - Okay.
- I'm really shocked right now.
It's a very bold statement.
How do you accidently attack somebody?
And I'm not by any way shape or form discrediting
what Evelyn might have gone through.
But it just seems to me that Tami--
she wouldn't lie about something like this.
The only people that know what truly happened
is Evelyn and her ex.
And I don't want to be in the middle
of something so sensitive.
You're telling me [bleep] I wasn't even privy to.
I didn't know that this was an accident,
but it hurt her. - I was hurt too.
And they've been talking about me.
From day one,
they have been [bleep] talkin' about me.
When I was the big bitch, they was talkin' about me.
Ever since I've known them girls
they have been talking about me.
And I just always tryin' to be their [bleep] friend.
[emotional music]
- No, Tami. - And I always try to
be down and be quiet and stick around
and hang in there, support Shaunie,
support them bitches, make up,
do whatever's necessary, and I'm tired.
I'm [bleep] tired. - I know.
You're telling me something, and it hurts my heart
because from what I know of the situation--
I wasn't in Miami.
You've always been nothing but Tami.
You've been an amazing, beautiful person.
If it ain't enough for certain people, it's okay.
Tami is really hurt.
Now, it doesn't help what she said to Evelyn,
but at the end of the day, I have never seen her this upset.
- Well, don't speak to me.
I'm not talking about this another second.
- No. I ain't gonna say a word.
As far as I'm concerned, it stays with me and you.
I just wanted to know what was that whole thing
because that ponderosa was off the [bleep] chain,
and now I hear it from my friend, okay?
You got a friend for life in me.
[suspenseful music]
- Maybe I was wrong for saying it.
- For saying the whole part about the domestic violence?
- Yeah.
Maybe I was wrong for throwing that in her face.
♪ ♪
- That's right. That takes a big ass
[bleep] woman to say that.
"Maybe I shouldn't have said that."
- Throwing her truth in her face.

Super-Mom Serena Williams into 10th Wimbledon final, to face Angelique Kerber - Duration: 2:19.
Super-Mom Serena Williams into 10th Wimbledon final, to face Angelique Kerber
Super-Mom Serena Williams into 10th Wimbledon final, to face Angelique Kerber.
Serena Williams demonstrated that having a baby had not robbed her of any of her phenomenal tennis skills when she became the first mother in 38 years to reach the Wimbledon final, with a 6-2 6-4 demolition of Germany's Julia Goerges on Thursday.
Goerges had come into her first Grand Slam semi-final having belted more winners (199), more aces (44) and more unreturned serves (113) than anyone else in the women's draw but those statistics counted for little when she came up against an opponent who is in hot pursuit of a record-equalling 24th major.
The 13th seed had never taken a set off Williams in three previous meetings and any hopes she might have harboured of setting up an all-German final with Angelique Kerber, who had beaten Jelena Ostapenko earlier, were dashed in 70 unforgiving minutes.
In each set Goerges was broken in the sixth game and she simply did not have the firepower or belief to stop the seven-times champion from surging to a 20th successive win on the hallowed turf.
Williams was back giving the crowd a one-arm raised victory twirl after reaching a 10th Wimbledon final after her opponent swiped a lob behind the baseline.
At 181st in the world, Williams, who gave birth to a daughter 10 months ago, is the lowest ranked player to reach the women's final but that number will fool no one, and especially not Kerber who was runner-up to the American in the 2016 final.
