Youtube daily report w Jul 13 2018

hey guys it's Leigh and today I'm back with another Dollar Tree haul before I

show you the items that I bought I have a lot of pictures of some really cool

items that I thought you guys might like to see but I didn't necessarily need to

buy so I'm gonna roll those pictures now and I'll be back with you in just a minute.

as you can see from those pictures the Dollar Tree has some really cool stuff

in the stores right now the first thing I picked up and I know you're saying

it's only July but they have their desk calendars out and you know it's 2019

calendar and I'm worried that if I didn't go ahead and pick it up this time

it might be gone the next time I go in so I grabbed this I love these for my

desk actually so yeah I was happy to find that next I picked up two of these

command hook basics they say they hold two pounds and

there's one hook per bag I'm not sure if that's a great deal but I did need a

couple of hooks so I just grabbed them I should have seen in the previous

pictures they did have all of their calendars out and I picked up this

little pink planner it's really cute and I don't know why I keep buying these

things I never use them every year I say I'm gonna get it I'm gonna use it and I

never do I was trying to see if this has the size on it it's pretty small

probably the size of a 4x6 picture I'm guessing or a three by five I don't

know so next I found these cute little Locker buddies this is an owl

they had a kitty cat a panda and this little dog I've opened

it because I wanted to see exactly what it is and it has a magnet in there so it

will stick to the inside of the locker or in our case to the refrigerator so

these are really cute also in the school supply section I found these really cute

pencil cases and they are I can't what do you call this where there are two

different pictures I don't know but this is a unicorn one hopefully you can see

the different pictures this one is whoops of gummy worms very

cool and it's green mostly green this one is my favorite with cupcakes

very cute and they had gummy bears which is also very cute I have some ideas of

who I'm giving these to because I actually don't really have a use for

those next I found this really cute I only found one of these in the store

squish yum minis this is a little blue donut it says deliciously squishy and

there are macaroons little cutie oranges cookies and Donuts that you can collect

but like I said my store had one and this was it next I found this elf lip

stain in nude nectar I never can find a lipstick color that I actually like so I

thought I would try this this is the only color they had in this so I thought

I'd give this a shot and see next I picked up two of these Rimmel London lip

liners and I honestly thought I picked up two in the same color

but I didn't I picked up peachy beachy and pink a punch so I got two different

colors I wasn't really paying attention but it'll be fine I grabbed two of these

little containers of dove beauty cream each one has let's see how big is it

it actually set it right on the front 2.53 fluid ounces or 75

mililiters it's got two of those I've never seen these in the store before

Ortega good grains taco shells in yellow corn and ancient brains I picked up two

boxes and there are ten shells and here are the options whole grain corn and

lentil white corn and chia seeds and blue corn so I grabbed two for taco

night the kids can eat these I grabbed this book just because it sounded funny

you deserve a drink boozy misadventures and tales of debauchery by mamrie Hart

yeah I don't know who she is but I'm hoping it's funny the Dollar Tree is

starting to get in their fall decor so the last items I got were these pumpkins

these are stone or concrete if they're heavy as can be they're super heavy so I

picked up one in the orange and one in brown and find a place for those these

really pretty ceramic pumpkins again one in an orange rusty color and one in

mostly brown I love I don't know if you can see the detail on these but they're

so pretty and they looked like you could get them at a much more expensive store

for much more than a dollar so I really liked those I was glad I found them so

that is everything I picked up this time around at the Dollar Tree if you liked

Behind The Lyrics of Summer Love - E' una storia vera? Ci siamo lasciati? - Duration: 3:42.

Hello guys, how are you?

Today I'm here with a new video a bit 'special called Behind the lyrics

I will explain the lyrics of my song Summer Love

and i will tell you a little how the idea was born

Summer Love was born at the beginning of March

to become, finally, the final version.

It is all based on a true story and does so

Here I tell why I love this person

why it is so important to me

and why I need it so much but I also wonder

how we will not ruin another time

When you breake up with a person and you see her again you feel strange

all your memories come to mind

but at the same time

you would like to run away

because you don't know what to say and how to behave.

In this part I say just this.

And just in these moments you try to understand

if the feeling is still present and if it is still real

and you would like him to look at you,

behave and protect you as once

but since

you were hurt in the past you do not want to get back into the game and prefer to stay one

So you prefer to live your summer,

have fun with your friends

and feel good

The second stanza speaks of this love of contrast

that fails to take the path.

He makes a decision but then always comes back

and after a while you can not stand this anymore.

for this reason you prefer to be on your own.

Here the two lovers meet in their usual place,

and she tells him

that it is over

I hope you enjoyed the video

José José - El triste Reaction [Koreans Hoon & Cormie] / Hoontamin - Duration: 10:52.

Few days ago Korea competed against Mexico in the World Cup

Korea lost

Because Korea is recently not doing well

Koreans didn't really have high expectations

However the athletic performance of the Mexican team was great

Our country also did good

But I didn't like the referee's judgements

Anyway because Mexico did well and played with manners

I didn't get mad although Korea had lost

It was a good game

About when this video is uploaded the World Cup might have ended

Upload it quickly

Because there is an order

Today we'll watch a Mexican music video

As we recently watched Mexican music videos

Many Mexican subscribers had visited us

And recommended various songs

And the most recommended song was

This singer has been active since his early teens

He's one of the most iconic Mexican singers

El triste, tragedy?

In the translation it appeared as 'the sad'

I think it might be closer to 'tragedy'

Anyway it might be about sadness, or tragedy

I'm curious what it is about

Is it a music video from 1970?

Doesn't it seem like a stage from the 70's?

Looking at the caption and quality it seems from the 70's

Something is flying over, is it a flower?

There's a culture like such, that fly something

Seems like popera

The Latin song festival, 1970

A rare aspect to find in recent music

It has a grand sound

The emotions seem well infused

Festivals were like such, in the 1970's

Amazing

Throw flowers like this

Because it's a culture from that period

Seems like they give points

In cases like this the audience shout bravo

The song was good

Before we say our thoughts

In Youtube there are many young users

But a song from 1970 was recommended

Impressing

It's really amazing

It's 10 years before I was born

Our Mexican subscribers and viewers

How old are you?

Might be around the age of Cormie's dad

Young people might listen to this song too

The song is very profound

And the emotions are well infused

Like there's a grand sound for the ones who listen to it

There are also '7080' songs in Korea

Songs from the 70's and 80's

Appear a lot in TV programs

People who enjoyed and shared the culture of that period

Mexico, Korea or the United States

Because they carry the largest population

Those songs were treated a lot

And I also like the 7080 songs

But Korean songs are a bit different from Mexican

However in Mexico songs from the 70's or 80's

If it were songs like such, people would sing it at Karaokes

I would have sung it very cool

On one side drinking tequila

This songs seems difficult to sing along

It drags the ends a lot of times

So I thought 'when will that person breathe?'

There's a place that after dragging it reaches the high notes

It reached up not even taking a breath

I thought to myself so impressive

We as anyone else

Although we're not singers, we can sing like that at Karaokes

If you squeeze it on purpose

If you give me a shot of tequila I might be able to imitate it

My throat would hurt if I smoked cigar too

Anyway...

It's very new

It was fresh

We for the meantime

As we watched music videos from various countries all ove the world

If we experienced broader

This time a really time taking

Seems like we went on a new trip

There aren't many channels like Hoontamin all over the world

If we hadn't watched this

If it wasn't recommended

How could we listen to a Mexican song from the 1970's

This song, people who were born at this time

Are almost getting close to thieir 50's

Could be older than your parents

Unique

The atmosphere was amazing

Throwing the flowers was also new

A different feel from the festivals nowadays

So it was unconventional

There might be a time difference

When I was young, in 1983 or 1984

I can remember from atmospheres back then

So it wasn't so unconventional

As if I could watch the scenes hard to find nowadays

Those aspects are a bit different

Our trip to the recommended videos continues

Why Not to Buy a Cheap Quick Strut Assembly for Your Car - Duration: 6:49.

Rev up your engines, today in an attempt to save you money and

still have quality parts at the same time, I'm going to talk about quick struts on your

car, now when your car rides poorly and your struts

are worn out, a lot of guys are scared of changing them

out because they're worried they're going to be injured compressing the spring,

taking it apart and putting it together, so many people think about buying these quick

struts that come with all the pieces you need, instead of just buying the shock absorbing

part like this, and taking the old one apart and reusing the

spring, and reusing the strut mount and all the other pieces over,

now changing out the strut assembly by using a quick strut is a lot easier,

all you have to do is take off a few bolts here,

the brake line, and then these two giant bolts top and bottom,

and then you go to the top back inside the car,

and you just remove 1,2,3 bolts and the whole assembly then just slides out,

and you slide the new one in, so it's an easy job,

and you don't have to deal with these dangerous springs when their compressed, like this illustrates,

and if you make a mistake taking these apart, these springs can be dangerous,

don't try this at home but watch what can happen,

now there is one big problem with these quick struts,

how do you know if your getting good ones, now I've been a mechanic for 50 years and

people are always asking me, Scotty how do you know you're getting a good part or not,

well it's called experience, I've seen companies come, I've seen them go,

I've seen good companies go bad, I've seen good companies stay the same,

I've seen new companies that were good, I've seen new companies that were horrible,

so the only way you can tell is by actual experience with those parts,

so in that case, this Leacree company sent me a pair of struts for my wife's Lexus,

so rather than you taking a chance with these things,

I have in an experiment, so I put two of them on my wife's Lexus,

and you have to realize that even those this Lexus is 17 years old, it still has the original

struts and it still rides perfectly fine, but was doing this as an experiment,

and being a professional mechanic with all my air tools it only took be about 45 minutes

to replace them both then I drove it around, and guess what,

it rode worse than it did with the 17 year old original struts,

and as a double blind of this experiment, I didn't tell me wife what I did to her car,

so she drove it around and a couple of days later she said,

boy my car is really riding poorly whats going on here,

I explained to her I had put these Chinese made aftermarket struts on her car and she

said put the old ones back on it was working fine that way,

so I put the old ones back on, then she was happy because it was riding perfect again,

but being curious of course, I'm wondering why do these brand new beautiful looking ones

with all new parts work worse than ones were 17 years old,

well here's what I found, well first I measured the spring diameter

of the quick strut, and that was 14.9 millimeters,

then I measured the spring diameter of the factor struts,

and it was 13.6 millimeters, so the new quick strut assembly had thicker

springs than the factory one, you might think thicker is better,

no it's going to make it ride rougher, these guys at Lexus spent a lot of time designing

the correct springs for their cars, they don't want thicker springs,

that's what you got, it rode rougher, I saw it rode rougher, my wife who didn't even know

I changed them said it rode rougher, not a good idea if you want to get a good ride in

a fancy car, and I also noticed the car was sitting higher,

it wasn't sitting the same way it was designed, then I looked at their directions and it says,

oh warning your car might sit higher when you put these on,

well that's crazy they're obviously not made correctly,

I took the quick strut apart, this is the quick strut mount,

and this is a factory OEM strut mount, when I popped out the bearing of the quick

strut one, it came apart and had these cheesy little

ball bearings inside, but when I took out the factory one the bearing

is a sealed unit, it's sold and much better made, it's going to last a lot longer and

it's going to ride better, plus when I measured the depth where the top

of the strut rod sits on the new unit, that was 14.6 millimeters,

but on the OEM strut mount, it was 21 millimeters, so of course that's going to sit differently

so that's probably why the thing rode higher, I mean the whole thing was just a big mistake

but at least it was one that I made to test out for you and you don't waste your money

doing it yourself, and sure we all want to save money and this

Leacree strut was only $88.29, while the factory Lexus strut is $793.67,

and when it comes to buying these quick struts, hey you got to do some research beforehand,

I found that companies that people have heard of that have a good image,

they had the same kind of reviews, they said these use to be great but the one I had was

a pile of junk it lasted 20,000 miles or it made noise,

research if your thinking about using a quick strut,

now I have seen people use these quick struts in some situations like they got a car and

it's completely shot, they hardly ride at all,

the struts are leaking and it bounces like mad,

and at least it rides better, sometimes they do it right before they sell the car or they

say, I'm only going to keep it a year, I'll put these cheaper ones on and save money and

I'll just live with whatever they do, but if you want to keep your car a long time

and want to have a good ride, my advice is, get a quality strut cartridge

assembly replacement, use the spring and the suspension bearing on the top over,

I got this high quality bearing assembly at Auto Zone for $63, it was exactly the same

as Lexus OEM, so you don't have to spend $723 for the factory stuff and buy it all,

you can replace the parts with quality parts, just don't expect a quick strut to be a very

good fix if you keep your car for a long time, because a lot of these manufacturers of these

quick struts, they're sneaky, some of them say, assembled

in USA you know that doesn't mean that much, that only means that it could be very cheap

parts from China that were just finally assembled in the United States,

and it doesn't matter where junk is put together, if it's junk it's still going to be junk no

matter where you put it together, now if it says made in the USA there's very

strict laws for that kind of stuff, but you'll often see many of these things

just say assembled in the USA and that doesn't really mean anything when it comes to quality,

so now you know a bit more about quick struts in your car,

and you can make a wise decision yourself, so if you never want to miss another one of

my new car repair videos, remember to ring that bell!

📝 Icarus Moth - Don't (feat. Mothica) Lyrics

Don't go

Don't tell me you're leaving me til you

Say so, why'd you always try to run away from me?

And I don't get why you're holding on to all this

Bulls**t, when we could just forget all about it

All about this

But something inside of you

Is telling you how to move

Won't you say it?

Won't you say it?

Lay it all out for me

Or let me down easily

I'll be waiting

I'll be waiting

But baby don't count on me to wait forever

Forever

For you, 'cause I don't need to suffer like you do

Like you do

Like you want me to

Tell me how you expect me to be here

When all you do is hide out of fear

But something inside of you

Is telling you how to move

Won't you say it?

Won't you say it?

Lay it all out for me

Or let me down easily

I'll be waiting

I'll be waiting

But baby don't count on me to wait forever

Forever

The MOST Venomous Spiders In The World!! - Duration: 11:28.

From powerful attackers to insane hunters...stay tuned to number 1 to find out the most venomous

spiders on the planet.

Number 10: Indian Ornamental.

Don't be fooled by this creature's name: it only sounds like an ornament but, believe

me...it's not!

This species of spiders, coming from India, as the name suggest, belongs to the group

of arboreal tarantulas...and they lead a very "defensive" lifestyle.

As far as its venom is concerned, it is quite dangerous.

Although there haven't been any fatal occurrences recorded, the Indian ornamental can have a

very strong bite, causing intense pain when they inject venom into the victim's tissue.

As we said, they are not aggressive by nature, and they would rather run away and hide in

some place than attack and fight.

The problem arises when they are cornered; in these moments, Indian ornamental doesn't

think twice...as their only way out is to strike a blow.

Luckily, they only live in India! (uhhh...Indians, watch out!)

Number 9: Redback Spider.

These beauties originally come from Australia, but they can now be found in some parts of

Asia, as well as New Zealand.

It is known for its very powerful venom, produced by the glands in its mouth.

The reason why this venom is so powerful is because it contains some very strong enzymes

and several harmful toxins, especially the one called alpha-latrotoxin.

This one is particularly strong, and it causes severely intense pain in humans; it destabilizes

cell membranes and affects the nervous system, but also causes some cardiovascular manifestations

in some people.

Because of the spider's small size, it's usually very hard to find the place of the bite, as

there is no swelling or puncture marks.

And the pain is not very strong at the beginning...the victim only feels slight stinging or a sense

of unease.

But after about an hour, the symptoms start to kick in: goosebumps on the skin, sweating,

and severe pain at the place of the bite.

Sometimes, there is also pain below the knees or a sense of burning in the feet.

All in all...pretty unpleasant.

Number 8: Sydney Funnel-Web Spider.

Australia is known for its dangerous creatures, and their spiders are no different.

But, before we meet this funnel-web spider, take a moment to like this video and subscribe

to Zero2Hero!

It's really important that you click the little notification bell, too, so you can be notified

each time we post a new video!

This Australian spider's body contains atracotoxin, and because of this...it is very toxic for

humans and other primates alike.

When they bite, funnel-webs usually bite repeatedly, because it's in their defensive mechanism.

Hence, the area of the bite can sting quite a bit.

Strangely enough, the female doesn't bite that much, compared to the male.

Usually, when a funnel-web bites, it takes up to one hour before the first symptoms can

be felt...but it averages around 30 minutes.

Children are especially vulnerable when it comes to funnel-web bites.

Almost one half of those bitten by these spiders are children, and there has also been one

case reported of a child passing away in less than 15 minutes after being bitten by a funnel

web.

The bite of this spider is considered very dangerous, and it requires immediate medical

attention and hospital treatment.

Number 7: Brazilian Wandering Spider.

When you hear "Brazil," you usually think about something exotic and exciting, but in

this case...you should be alarmed.

Although it may be exotic and exciting, it's also quite scary.

We're talking about two species of Phoneutria spiders, usually referred to as the Brazilian

wandering spiders.

Sometimes, the whole genus takes on the reference, but it should be said that not all Phoneutria

species come from Brazil.

These spiders have a very powerful neurotoxin, which affects the nervous system in victims.

If a high concentration of the venom is injected, it will cause breathing problems and muscle

control, which may even lead to paralysis.

There may also be severe pain, inflammation and other side-effects.

In this spider species, it's the female that usually has more venom in the body.

The amazing thing about Brazilian wandering spiders is that they prey not only on smaller

insects, but also small animals such as lizards and frogs.

They can be dangerous to humans, but their bodies have a drawback: their jaws simply

aren't made for bigger bites.

Well, that's a relief!

Number 6: Wolf Spider.

Wow, this sounds intimidating, judging by the name.

And indeed it is.

This type of spider is interesting because of the fact that it doesn't spin webs, like

the majority of spiders.

The name "wolf spider" comes from the fact that they prey on their potential food by

stalking it, just like wolves.

They are loners by nature, and possess excellent hunting instincts.

They live in different kinds of terrains, but prefer forests, meadows, woodlands and

shrubs.

But they rarely stay at one place; usually, they wander around in search of food, without

a permanent hiding place.

Wolf spiders are not aggressive by nature, so there's no fear of them biting first; however,

if provoked on a continuous basis, they will strike and attempt to inject their venom into

the victim's body.

Some of symptoms might be itching, mild pain and swelling.

The spider's fangs are pretty strong, and they can tear the skin easily, infecting it

and causing swelling in lymph nodes.

The best treatment for wolf spider bite is proper cleaning and icing to relax the area.

The symptoms will usually go away after about ten days and, in most cases, there is no need

for medical attention...only when a small child or an elderly person has been bitten.

Number 5: Black Widow.

Here it is - the most infamous of all venomous spiders.

But, it's not the most venomous, because the competition is fierce.

The bad rap black widow has been receiving occurs because of several factors, only one

of which is its bite and venom.

However, what turned this spider into one of the most hated monsters in the animal kingdom

is the fact that, after mating...the female tends to kill and eat the male.

Not the prettiest of ways to say "I love you," sure.

On the other hand, although many people fear the very mention of the black widow, it turns

out that its venom is not that dangerous to us humans.

What is interesting is that, although black widow venom can have an effect on a human,

only female spiders are able to "envenom" the victim; the mouthparts of a female are

the only ones big enough to strike a venomous blow...the males simply aren't that big.

When a black widow bites a person, what occurs is a condition called "Latrodectisim;" the

symptoms of this are sweating, vomiting, pain and rigidity in the muscles.

But this condition almost never results in a fatal outcome.

It is known that some pets, such as cats, have not made it, as a result of muscles paralysis,

but it's extremely rare in humans.

Number 4: Red Widow Spider.

And you thought that the Black Widow was scary?

Wait to see this one.

The red widow spider lives in central and southern Florida, usually in sand dune areas.

Just like its black cousin, it has a powerful sting that can result in Latrodectisim, but

the bite itself is rarely fatal.

Not many people know about the red widow, because it's not one of the most common spiders

around, yet its venom is a force to be reckoned with.

Scientists claim that red widow's venom is...wait for it...10-25% stronger than a rattlesnake's

venom!

Yes, it's that serious!

However, you can breath a bit, because the concentration of the venom is so low that

it's not typically fatal.

After the bite, the victim will feel muscle spasms and sweating, vomiting and a rise in

blood pressure, as well as severe pain...but fatal occurrences are rare.

Unless the victim is a child or an elderly person...in which case, in could prove highly

dangerous.

The worst part happens in the first 12 hours after the bite; as hours go on, the symptoms

should subside.

Number 3: Goliath Birdeater.

What a name.

It sounds just like a horror B-movie from the 1950s.

Well, the name is definitely deserved, because this type of tarantula is really impressive.

Originally from South America, the Goliath birdeater is the world's second largest spider,

by size and mass.

In fact, it makes an appearance in our video about the largest spiders in the world!

I know what you're all thinking: "Does it really eat birds?"

No, not really.

Scientists say that this type of spider very rarely preys on birds; that's not something

you would expect out of a Goliath birdeater.

The reason why it's called that is because of an engraving from the 1800s, on which the

spider was shown eating a hummingbird.

Maybe it's artistic license, or maybe it did prey on a bird, but really, this is just a

cool sounding name.

It has powerful fangs, and it can pierce through the skin, but it's relatively harmless, because,

luckily, its bite is more like a wasp's sting...not that bad.

However, what makes the Goliath birdeater amazing is that it actually has three lines

of defense, fangs being just the first one.

It can also rub its legs together, creating a hissing sound that can be quite scary and...listen

to this...it can also rub its legs against its abdomen, and this will result in the release

of tiny hairs that can reach the eyes and the mucous membrane, causing extreme itching

and pain that will last days.

Number 2: Chilean Recluse Spider.

This is one of the most dangerous and most venomous spiders from the family of so-called

"recluse spiders."

Its bite is very strong and extremely venomous.

Experts claim that one bite can cause major allergic reactions, and even expiration.

Like so many spiders, the Chilean recluse is not aggressive by nature; it never attacks

first, but if it happens to be pressed against human skin, it won't think twice before responding

with a mighty bite.

Its venom contains a special agent, which can cause skin necrosis.

Many studies have shown that the Chilean's venom is one of the most powerful, if not

the most powerful of all venomous spiders.

Once the victim has been bitten, the symptoms can vary in number and scope, from light irritation

on the skin to skin ulcers and the destruction of the soft tissue.

If this happens, it can take months before the tissue heals; in rare occasion, it takes

even years, after which there are major scars visible.

And the effects usually don't kick in right away, but can take a few hours before they

manifest.

Number 1: Six-Eyed Sand Spider.

So, here it is.

The grand prize.

The most venomous spider in the world.

The six-eyed sand spider.

It lives in the sands of Southern Africa, but it's not that easy to find.

And there's one problem with it: nobody can be positive that its bite will actually take

a person out, because there is no evidence, of any kind, that the six-eyed has ever bitten

or taken out a human.

There are a couple of instances, when it was suspected that a six-eyes could have been

the culprit...but it has simply never been proven, to this day.

However, experiments conducted on lab rabbits proved that the venom from a six-eyed sand

spider can work within 12 hours upon victim of envenomation.

The venom itself is so strong that it can cause a range of medical problems, from tissue

destruction and blood thinning to blood vessel leakage.

What makes this spider and its venom even more creepy is the fact that...there is no

anti-venom.

What do you think about these spiders?

Let us know in the comments below and...take care!

25 MIND BLOWING Medical Breakthroughs You Might Just See In Your Lifetime - Duration: 9:23.

With the fast pace of today's technological advancements, you're likely to see several

medical breakthroughs in your lifetime.

In the past, medical discoveries happened about once every century.

Today, of course, is different.

New treatments and medical techniques are coming out every day.

From growing organs for transplant patients to reducing the risk of heart attacks, we're

so close to several medical breakthroughs that'll forever alter human history.

Ready to see which treatments are around the corner?

I'm Mike with List25 and here are 25 Mind-Blowing Medical breakthroughs You Might Just See In

Your Lifetime.

25.

Imagine being in any country's hospital and not having to worry about a language barrier.

That's the beauty of the universal language translator.

Tech companies are already actively working on this technology with an earpiece that sits

in your ear and syncs up with your smartphone translator, but eventually, it could become

much more sophisticated.

24.

While we do have antiretroviral therapy, researchers are still keen to effectively cure HIV for

good.

In fact, they're hopeful the latest research will get them there before 2020.

From immunotherapy to gene therapy, future technologies will likely give us that cure.

23.

While current surgery methods save many lives, it's still invasive and requires months of

healing.

Ultrasound surgery would change all of that.

Right now the technology already exists, but it's rare and in its early stages.

One day, we might have the ability to perform more non-invasive surgeries for a number of

diseases.

22.

If you're not a fan of needles and hate getting your vaccine shots, one day you might not

have to deal with them at all.

Researchers have already developed a patch with micro-needles that would inject the vaccine.

It's painless, and many think it'll likely replace needle injections.

21.

With smartphones, at-home diagnostics is more common than ever, and it's only just getting

started.

A company called Mammoth Biosciences is developing a medical kit to find and diagnose potential

problems, diseases, or traits in your body.

They think it'll be like a "Dr. Google" to map your DNA and be able to search for issues.

20.

Artificial Intelligence in hospitals is already here, and it'll only continue to get more

advanced and personal.

In the future, you'll likely talk more to a computer to diagnose your problem than an

actual human.

AI systems will also be able to scan and diagnose your body at a much higher rate of accuracy

than a human doctor.

19.

With wearables like Fitbit and Apple Watch, its become common for people to track their

heart rate, steps, and calories burned.

However, one day, we could have sensors monitoring every aspect of our bodies as a health preventative

method.

18.

Technically, growing organs is already a medical breakthrough.

Researchers have been growing human organs inside animals before transplanting them to

patients.

Eventually, with future technologies, growing organs could be commonplace and made to order.

17.

Scientists believe treatments for common causes of blindness will be available in five years.

Using stem cell therapy, doctors have already given patients back their sight enough to

be able to read.

It's a rare treatment now, but they think it'll become very common in the coming years.

16.

One day, paralysis may be a thing of the past.

Recently, the FDA approved the pilot testing of a new spinal cord procedure that could

cure paralysis for thousands of people.

Called Neuro-Spinal Scaffold, it's applied at the injury spot and provides support while

also helping the healing process.

15.

Right now, people with Type 1 Diabetes need to take regular injections of insulin.

Hopefully, with new advancements, that'll be a thing of the past.

Researchers have already used stem cells to help treat patients with Type 1 Diabetes.

About 422 million people worldwide have the disease.

14.

Heart disease is the number one killer in America.

Thankfully, more help to combat it could just be around the corner.

LDL Cholesterol is the bad kind, causing plaque to build up in arteries, which causes heart

attacks and strokes.

However, new studies have found an injection, acting as a kind of vaccine, that could help

reduce LDL Cholesterol in patients for their entire life.

13.

Roughly 21 million people suffer from sleep apnea.

Those who seek treatments use a loud and obnoxious C.P.A.P. machine to regulate their breathing.

Fortunately, a new implant to help with sleep apnea is already being marketed by medical

companies.

Not only have tests shown it is effective, but also quieter and smaller.

12.

Already hospitals are investing in cutting-edge technology for their operating rooms to make

procedures less risky and more effective.

With the increasing advancement of artificial intelligence and new hardware, we'll likely

see a surgery breakthrough where it's not as scary to have major procedures anymore.

11.

Researchers at the University of Manchester have already developed new treatments to help

limited damage and repair the brain after a patient has a stroke.

It's likely we'll see more medical breakthroughs regarding brain repair and healing for a variety

of diseases.

10.

Speaking of the brain, scientists are on the hunt to halt or cure dementia and Alzheimers.

Recently, they've discovered an anti-depressant drug could help halt dementia.

Futuristic technologies to repair the brain could also help in this fight.

9.

Scientists know the genes responsible for aging and have been actively working to come

up with ways to either slow down the clock or reverse the process entirely.

Using a breakthrough DNA editing technology called CRISPR, researchers are hopeful these

genes could be edited and manipulated so aging is no longer a thing.

8.

Roughly 3,200 people are on the waiting list for a heart transplant.

As a solution, doctors and researchers may use a pigs heart, wash away the cells until

it's a "ghost heart" and then inject that heart with human stem cells to make it usable

for humans.

So far, the technique has worked for both rat and pig hearts, but one day, researchers

would like to take the next step and make a human heart.

7.

Knee replacement surgery could be much less problematic thanks to a new technology by

scientists to help replace cartilage.

The "bouncy bio-glass" mimics cartilage and can be 3D printed to fit in the damaged areas.

6.

Today, we have artificial skin, but it's nowhere near the real thing.

However, according to a report in the Science journal, researchers are coming closer than

ever to mimicking real skin with the capability of touch signals sent to nerve cells.

5.

Some think by 2025, every human baby will routinely have their DNA mapped at birth.

Having DNA mapped could help doctors provide more precise treatments and also be able to

pinpoint potential risk of disease down the road.

4.

With the gene editing tool CRISPR, scientists can alter genes in human embryos, preventing

a whole host of potential diseases.

This new technology is ever-advancing.

In 2017, scientists already did gene editing trials on human embryos.

Of course, while fixing scores of diseases would be good, ethical concerns are raised,

including creating an entirely new species of humanity.

3.

Increasing advancements in nanotechnology could lead to a wide swath of cures for a

whole host of disease, including Type 1 Diabetes, asthma, and multiple sclerosis.

In 2012, Northwestern Medicine researchers found that nanotechnology could help halt

MS in mice.

2.

An estimated 50 million men and 30 million women experience hair loss of some sort.

Over the years, many have tried to treat the condition but haven't been able to cure it.

Recently, however, researchers at the University of Southern California were able to regrow

hair follicles on the backs of mice using stem cells, raising hopes that regrowing human

hair could be possible.

1.

Honestly, curing cancer is a long way off if it's even a real possibility.

That's the bad news.

The good news is more treatments have become available to combat it, including the latest

immunotherapy techniques and a potential "vaccine" that cured tumors in 97% of mice.

How your split ends can help clean oil spills - Duration: 3:51.

This is the Guimaras oil spill of 2006 and it's the worst of its kind in the

Philippine's history.

More than 130 thousand gallons of bunker oil gushed

into the Panay Gulf.

In an attempt to contain the spill locals turn to an

unconventional method: these freaky-looking sausage things are all

filled with synthetic materials fabricated in a lab.

It's also organic

stuff you can find on most continents and probably in your shower drain.

It's human hair.

After the Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska Phil McCroy, a hair

stylist in Alabama, had a novel idea for the cleanup effort.

On TV he noticed how a

sea otter's fur had become saturated with oil and thought if that's what oil would

do to an otter's fur, then the same must be true for human hair.

He took scraps of hair trimmings from work, stuffed them into his wife's

pantyhose and tested his new invention in a small spill he created at his house.

NASA's studied and confirmed Phil's invention worked.

I called every hair

stylist in Alabama 'til I found him.

He said that his garage was full of hair

being donated from salons all over the place, but he'd never been able to make a

business out of it and so from like about 2000, 2001 we were partners.

They teamed up on the Clean Wave program. It collects donated hair, fur, feathers, and

other fibers to make recycled felted mats and hair booms that can mop up oil spills.

Turns out hair is pretty good at

cleaning up oil.

It repels water and can collect contaminants.

Water goes into a

sponge and it blows up and that's called absorbent but oil coats hair on the

outside so like it's called adsorbent.

Hair is also natural, cheap, and renewable

which makes it an ideal material for cleaning up oil spills.

Making a hair

boom is pretty straightforward.

All you need is human hair and pantyhose.

Take the hair, stuff it into the hose, and voilà.

After getting over the freaky feeling of handling someone else's clumped up hair,

place it into contaminated water and watch the hair boom do its thing.

There's little diesel spills all the time, so like every little harbor can use

that stuff. You know, it was a great way to just kind of string from dock to dock

and kind of protect your private beaches.

But hair booms and hair mats haven't

been the principal method to clean major oil spills.

They weren't used extensively

in the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon spill, where over the course of

87 days 134 million gallons of oil gushed into the Gulf of Mexico.

Instead, crews used 1.8 million gallons of chemical dispersants, oil skimmers, fire,

and booms and barriers made of synthetic material to clean up the mess.

With oil spills, time is of the essence.

The longer oil is in the ocean the

harder it is to retrieve.

The immediate ecological impact of oil spills is

obvious. It kills marine wildlife and destroys habitats and breeding grounds.

The chemicals used to clean up oil spills also pose a danger to human

health.

As of now, hair booms and hair mats are not the primary tools used to

contain oil spills, but possibly one day they could be.

It was very interesting

for us to see the public desire to help.

There's so many hair salons

in every city and billions more people with hair to spare.

So it's not out of

the realm of possibilities that help for the next oil spill

maybe just one snip away.

Dragon Ball Heroes Prison Planet Story - Duration: 3:04.

Hello and welcome back all my Dragon Ball theorist I wanted to get a video up talking

about the Dragon Ball Heroes promotional episodes.

First as we know it's a Promo and any Dragon Ball is better than no Dragon Ball as we wait

for the Super Movie and the next series.

Especially with all the excitement now building with the news that Broly will in be in movie.

So while the episode was only 8 mins and the first one was only setting up the story line

so there was a lot of talking.

Which some people complained about these things but I actually really enjoy the idea of the

story and plot.

Fu lores Goku and Vegeta into the prison planets cause Trunks is in trouble and well who wouldn't

believe that.

Except we get a quick sparring match with a Goku from a different dimension who is Super

Saiyan 4 against our SSB Goku.

A fight we really wanted to see as fans however both of them really never got going.

The Goku's were then let known that this was all a plot of Fu trapping them there as fighting

specimens.

That the prison planets were created by him and he has gathered the most powerful fighters

from different universes and timelines.

They are forever trapped there unless they defeat these

enemies and collect the dragon balls that each fighter has.

Wonder if Fu was able to catch the Universal tournament?

Figure that would be all the entertainment he needed.

So overall I like the idea of the story and though this is only a promotion for the video

game it's a pretty cool idea.

I wouldn't even mind if this got expanded on in a Series and made into a full Arc because

they story is pretty good.

I am excited to see how they do some of the future fights now that the plot is actually

set up here although not sure being that this is a Promo how much they will release.

Although who doesn't want to see what the Evil Saiyan is like and SSB Kaioken Vegito.

I am still taking this with a grain of salt and enjoying it for what it really is.

A promotion.

So with that said I will enjoy the story and look forward to some match ups we never will

see in Super.

Although I guess I shouldn't say never as many have said

that about Broly.

Now I want to know what you guys think of this promotion but mainly the story.

Do you think this is something they could expand on in the future of Dragon Ball?

Also what fights would you be most excited to see?

I want to thank all my loyal subscribers for all your support and let you know I have been

working like crazy at my other jobs for the summer.

I haven't been able to make as many videos as I wanted but hope to get a more consistent

schedule of uploads now.

I will definitely be watching the rest of this promotional series and look forward to

your thoughts on it.

Then of course with everyone buzzing about Broly I have some interesting What If videos

planned for that next week.

Once again I always love to hear your theories in the comments below and if you enjoyed this

How to Secure Your Retirement Income PLUS A Special Offer on Our Income Newsletter - Duration: 9:37.

Welcome to Dr. David Eifrig's Health & Wealth Bulletin, a publication of Stansberry Research.

This is Weekly Update.

Today, I want to feature part of an issue from one of Doc's newsletters.

It's called Income Intelligence and that's exactly what it is… it's a monthly issue

packed with the best intel on the markets, our economy, interest rates, and recommendations

for income investors.

If you want to invest in a solid portfolio of income-generating stocks, this is the only

newsletter you need.

The following comes from our May issue.

It focuses on the dangers of recklessly chasing yield.

And it starts with: Don't Ever Buy 100-Year Bonds

Despite the incredibly risky nature of Argentine debt, last year the nation issued bonds with

a 100-year term.

And because of the "chase for yield," investors bought them.

Argentina has spent more than 75 years in default.

More recently, as we mentioned, the country defaulted in 2001, then made it to 2014 before

defaulting again.

And yet, it was able to issue bonds with a promise to pay back investors in 2117.

These bonds made no sense...

The long duration meant the price of the bonds would fluctuate drastically with interest

rates.

And the likelihood that these bonds will pay off in full in 100 years was close to zero.

For all that risk, investors would earn a yield of around 8%.

Still, the country offered $2.75 billion of debt and attracted $9.75 billion in orders.

Shockingly, investors couldn't get enough.

Now, Argentina offered this bond last year.

Since then, they've dropped to a price of $0.83 on the dollar, with much of that drop

coming in the past month.

Collecting a 7% or 8% annual yield doesn't do much for you when the bonds drop 14% in

a year.

[Chart] The fall comes because Argentina had $30 billion

in local debt due the week of May 17.

And it looked like it may not come up with the money.

Right now, Argentina is seeking an emergency loan from the International Monetary Fund

to keep it solvent...

And it just raised its benchmark interest rate to 40%.

This trouble with local debt has driven the Argentine peso down around 33% against the

dollar, making it even harder for the country to pay off its dollar-based debts.

So after issuing a 100-year bond, Argentina is at risk of defaulting within one year.

So today we show you how our income-focused model portfolio has been outperforming despite

the yield-starved market.

When investors only claim an 8% yield on dead credit from a serial defaulter with a 100-year

term, how can you expect to earn a fair yield in a reasonable, safe investment?

We've done it, though it hasn't been easy.

Right now, our Income Portfolio boasts an average yield of 5.6%.

And our "yield on cost" –the current dividend divided by the price we paid – is 7.6%.

We've also invested intelligently in equity with upside potential.

While a stock with a 3% or 4% yield may not appear to be a juicy income investment, when

shares rise 50% or 125% like they have with VF Corporation and CME Group, they reward

better than any dividend yield.

Right now, our average gain in the Income Portfolio is 33% – and if we include our

World Dominating Dividend Grower positions, our average gain is 77%.

Of course, we remain focused on income – and with benchmark interest rates sending the

yield on 10-year Treasury bonds to 3% or so, you'd think we could find better yields in

more places.

In fact, it's the opposite.

While the baseline yield is up, spreads have tightened.

And in a sense, spreads matter more than the rates.

Here's the spread on high-yield debt as measured by the Bank of America Merrill Lynch U.S.

High-Yield Master II Option-Adjusted Spread.

Despite the mouthful of an index name, the concept is simple...

It shows how many more percentage points of yield you'd earn on a high-risk, "junk" bond

than you would on a super-safe Treasury bond.

[chart] Back in 2016, you'd get nearly 8% more in

yield (or more accurately, 800 basis points) for taking on the credit risk of junk bonds.

Today, you earn just 3.4% (340 basis points) more, flirting with the lowest levels of the

past two decades.

Now, if you could be certain those junk bonds wouldn't go bankrupt, maybe that's enough.

But these low yields come right at a time when credit quality looks worse than ever.

In the next five years, $2 trillion in U.S. corporate debt comes due.

More than $1 trillion of that rates as junk.

Second, corporate profit margins have danced around levels that simply don't fit history.

Yes, when profits are high, debt is safe.

But looking at this chart tells us that corporate profit margins are more likely to decline

than increase... [chart]

Profit margins are a mean-reverting measure – remember, trees can't grow to the sky.

You could make the case that highly profitable information businesses may have pushed the

average higher than it was decades ago, but profits are more likely to fall from here

than they are to rise much further.

Finally, today's junk debt doesn't have the same guarantees it once did.

In the old days, bond offerings included "covenants" – agreements from the borrower that it would

stick to a certain debt level, like loan-to-value and leverage ratios.

These agreements made the bonds safer and helped attract investors.

But as investors clamored for yield, borrowers realized they didn't have to include these

costly guarantees.

Bonds without such safety mechanisms – called "cov-lite" – started flowing through the

financial system.

Covenant quality on bonds has declined.

But the real trouble can be seen in the leveraged loan market.

The amount of cov-lite loans issued rose from virtually none in 2010 to at least $571 billion

in 2017.

Today, about 77% of new loans issued are cov-lite.

Now, before the 2007 financial crisis, they accounted for 20% of the loans.

That means today's low spreads earn you less money for holding worse bonds.

The oddness extends past the fixed-income market.

For decades, investors could work on a "frothy market" playbook.

When stocks got too high, you could retreat to sectors like consumer staples to collect

dividends and protect your capital.

But that's not so easy these days.

Since 2010, consumer staples have sported higher valuations than the market as a whole.

[chart] These are boring companies like Walmart (WMT),

Campbell Soup (CPB), and Clorox (CLX).

They should be priced cheap and have sturdy share prices.

Instead, they were priced at a premium.

And in the last year, consumer staples have underperformed the broader market, as you

can see in this chart... [chart]

So much for safety.

In other words, the traditional safe havens for income investors have either been bid

up to levels where they deliver little yield, or they've been failing.

That's why we've worked so hard in our portfolio to deliver better investments.

It's why we've ventured so far as to recommend Russian telecom stocks, emerging markets,

preferred shares, and carefully timed entries into master limited partnerships and exits

out of municipal bonds.

Still, as the markets trend higher and both the bull market and the economic expansion

runs longer, we need to get more cautious and more creative to keep income checks flowing

without risking our capital.

This right here is the heart of Income Intelligence: keep the income checks coming without risking

capital.

Keep in mind, this was our May issue.

We have plenty of new, up to date research ready for our subscribers as well.

If you want to find the best income-producing investments, you need to read Income Intelligence.

And if you aren't a subscriber, we have a special offer for you.

your money on a World Dominator – and collect a 6%+ annual dividend, while you wait.

Snake mistakes stuffed toy cow for food, undergoes surgery to get it removed - Duration: 4:20.

Snake mistakes stuffed toy cow for food, undergoes surgery to get it removed

A scrub python has undergone emergency surgery in far north Queensland after eating a young girl's beloved stuffed toy, then lying on her bed to digest it.

Snake catchers were called to a home in Kuranda last week after a family saw the 2-metre reptile eat their daughter's stuffed toy cow.

Hayley-Anne Hill from Miss Hiss Reptiles said in two decades of catching snakes, she had never seen anything like it.

"The whole house was excited by the time we got there, it's not something you come across every day," she said.

"We bagged the snake trying to digest this non-food item in about 20 seconds.

"We knew straight away it had a feed on something.

The bulge in the middle of the snake was about the size of a chicken.

"It was good they kept an eye on him otherwise we wouldn't have known it was a toy and it could've been detrimental.

After wrangling the snake, Mrs Hill took it to a local vet who offered to surgically remove the toy lodged in its belly.

'Moo' the snake saved by specialist vet.

Vet nurse Shannon Diblasio said a team performed surgery on the python after it failed to regurgitate the toy.

"The fluffy toy absorbs a lot of internal fluid, so we gave the snake fluid then one of our exotic vets popped it under general anaesthetic and opened it up," she said.

"We heard it ingested a child's toy but we weren't sure what sort it was, then the toy cow came out head first, so it was almost like giving birth to the toy.

"The vet pulled out a whole fluffy toy cow in one piece.

"We've seen some unusual cases but nothing quite like this.

Toy cow 'gone to toy cow heaven'.

Ms Diblasio said the family did the right thing by keeping an eye on the snake and getting it medical help.

"This snake probably would have had a slow and horrible death from the toy being stuck so they did the right thing," she said.

"It recovered well but unfortunately the toy didn't do so well and he's gone to toy cow heaven.

Newly named 'Moo' the snake was discharged from the vet today and is recovering with the snake catchers, who plan to release it back into the wild.

Mrs Hill said Moo would be released after a few weeks in rehabilitation.

"She's doing extremely well," she said.

"She'll be with us for about six weeks and we'll make sure she can digest some food, then we'll put her back out to where she belongs.

"Hopefully she won't go eating any more cows.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Entourage For Dublin Was Massive & TBH, I'm Kinda Jealous - Duration: 5:59.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Entourage For Dublin Was Massive & TBH, I'm Kinda Jealous

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are unsurprisingly still captivating the nation, and their recent two day trip to Ireland got me feeling kinda jealous.

No, it wasn't to do with my single self crying over them holding hands (so cute), it was the massive team supporting them throughout their first official tour that had me green-eyed.

Although, my jealousy got me wondering: who's in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's entourage anyway?.

If you've marathoned The Crown like I have, it's no secret that the royal's have a very supportive team behind them on their official tours.

From a private secretary to advisors to PAs to stylists, these important people make sure that the tour is carried out as smoothly as possible.

If only I had this sort of reinforcement when I brave my local shopping centre.

The entourage was jointly put together by Harry and Markle, according to Hello! magazine, and was 11-strong.

Among the group was celebrity stylist George Northwood, who was reportedly paid for privately by the Duchess — much like Kate Middleton did for her official visit to South East Asia in 2012.

Northwood is also the genius that styled her hair for her wedding reception in May, reports Vogue.

Previously, he has styled the likes of Alexa Chung and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley too, according to The Sun.

The Duchess also brought her assistant private secretary Amy Pickerill, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry's Private Secretary Ed Lane Fox, who Marie Claire reports "has worked with the prince for five years", and their joint advisor Sir David Manning, "who specialises in foreign issues," reportedly joined the royal couple too.

Alongside the secretaries and PAs, Harry and Markle also reportedly enlisted a four-member press team, including Kensington Palace communications secretary Jason Knauf, press officers Ciara Berry and Emily Rosselli, and a digital media photographer, reports Hello! Talk about all bases covered.

Similarly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a pretty impressive entourage for their visits to Stockholm and Oslo earlier this year.

Arriving with a team of 13 rather than 11, they comprised of a similar amount of private secretaries, stylists, press staff, and senior advisors, according to the Guardian.

And those outfits, goodness.

Markle's close friend and reported stylist Jessica Mulroney — whose three children were an integral part of Markle's wedding party — flew to the UK last week to prep the Duchess on her wardrobe before recent royal events, according to Good Morning America.

This included Prince Louis' christening, for which she wore Ralph Lauren.

Mulroney also reportedly styled Markle in the stunning Dior dress she wore at the Royal Air Force 100th Anniversary, as well as that gorgeous Givenchy skirt and sweater she wore on her arrival in Dublin, as reported by Harper's Bazaar.

With all this excitement surrounding the couple, you may be wondering: Why was Ireland the chosen destination for the couple's first tour? Well, it's all about grabbing that powerful excitement and energy and channeling it into important causes, including a visit to the Gaelic Athletic Association and a chance for Harry and Markle to pay their respects at a memorial for the Irish Famine.

The trip was also to aid a strong relationship between England and Ireland, according to Canadian magazine Maclean's, referencing a four-day visit made by Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall that occured less than a month before Harry and Markle's trip.

Much in the same, Harry's father and stepmother's visit to the green isle was to "highlight the essential partnership and friendship between the two nations, as well as the deep connections between their people," as stated in the official press release for the tour.

If this two-day trip is anything to go by, I'm confident that Harry and Markle have a seriously supportive network around them when the pressure is on.

But it's still okay to be a little jealous, though.

I mean, c'mon.
