this makes total weight about 44 pounds

Hello brothers and sisters in Christ.

There's a biblical passage that actually is often read at weddings -- I'm surprised by this fact -- and it is controversial.

Whoever reads it quickly without stopping to pay attention to details and without the right sense of interpretation, it seems that St. Paul is demanding that married women should be like slaves to their husbands.

Lets read quickly the "controversial" passage, it is taken from Ephesians 5:21-25.

"Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.

Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her."

Did you notice the focus on the wives' submission to their husbands?

Many feminist groups take verse 24 ("wives should submit to their husbands in everything") out of context to "prove" that the Christian religion oppresses women.

If we take a look at historical facts, it's evident that that is not true. No other religion gave women such a great status as Christianity.

The Jews at the time of Christ considered women a bit inferior to men; Islam considered women inferior to men.

For example, according to Islam, a woman's testimony in court doesn't have the same weight as of a man's. For a female testimony to be in equal fashion, you need two women (because a testimony of a woman has half the value as of a man's, cf. Sahih Bukhari 1.6.301 and 3.48.826).

Since the beginning of Christianity, you see various women being praised and held in places of honor, like the Virgin Mary, the deaconesses that evangelized in far places (you can see this in Romans 16:1).

Women exercised important roles in the early church and even today. Today you see female altar servers, readers/lectors, catechists, etc.

Some who claim to be "Christians" abuse their wives and point to these verses I read moments ago as support of their actions.

Pope St. John Paul II in his apostolic letter Mulieris Dignitatem (I'll leave a link below so you can read this document later) teaches that "all the reasons in favour of the 'subjection' of woman to man in marriage must be understood in the sense of a 'mutual subjection' of both 'out of reverence for Christ'." [cap.24].

In fact, take a closer look at Ephesians 5:21 : "Submit to ONE ANOTHER out of REVERENCE for Christ."

In marriage there's a mutual "submission", not just submission of wives. The husband also submits to the wife.

Christ is the Bridegroom and the Church is His Spouse, and matrimony is a sacrament, a sign of this reality.

St. Paul speaks about precisely about this in verses 25, 29 and 32.

We have to be ready to abdicate our own desires and ways in order to serve the other. This is true submission: to do sacrifices for the sake of the other, for their well-being of the other, with love and reverence for the Lord.

You can also see this explicitly in Philippians 2:3-4.

The truth is there's a sort of hierarchy when it comes to the family structure. In marriage, according to Ephesians 5, the man is "the head of the wife"... but what if the man doesn't assume his responsibilities?

For example, there are men who are drunkards, lazy... How should the wife behave? The woman has to assume his role, she has to carry on every responsibility, she becomes the head of the family, she exercises leadership.

Usually the man possesses a more authoritarian figure.

I mean, Scripture say "submit to one another", this means that one doesn't have more authority than the other. But, as Scripture and the Church suggests, the man has a distinguished role in the family.

There's a sort of hierarchy like I mentioned before (cf. "Casti connubii", 26-29). But is the man is not competent to assume his role, then the woman has to step in.

When it comes to dealing with the children, both spouses have the same level of authority.

Leadership involves submission. In other words, you have to lead with love, sacrifices are not exempt from you. If you want to be a leader, be like Christ the true Leader: He didn't come to be served but to serve.

You want to be a leader? Be a server-leader. Remember: He didn't come to be served but to serve. This is what Christ wants from us, wants from the married couple.

Look closely to the last verse (25): "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her."

Christ died for the Church. Therefore, the husband has to love his wife to the point of dying for her. He has to serve her in the most loving way, even if that means that he has to die! He has to defend her, protect her and the family at all costs.

There's a sort of hierarchy... Just like there's a heavenly hierarchy (like in the angelic realm: there are seraphim, cherubs, archangels, angels); on earth, Jesus chose Peter to be the chief apostle, the leader of the whole Church.

In the Old Testament we see this too: Moses was the leader of Israel, underneath him was the Levites (priestly tribe); after he dies, Joshua took his place and led Israel. God ordered things this way.

In the family structure, God wants men to be the head/mind of the family and women as the heart of the family. Women have a special charism, a tenderness that is amazing.

To conclude and to be clear: man and woman are equals, no one is superior to the other. But they're different, even biologically and psychologically. Thus, they have different roles in the family.

Lets us not forget that the Second Person of the Trinity chose to be born as a man and accepted to be submissive to both Joseph and Mary.

Have you ever pounder this? God Almighty that decided to come down from Heaven, assumed human flesh and submitted to other humans (his earthly parents).

This is the way it should be in fact: every child should be obedient to their parents. So if Christ didn't rebel against Mary and Joseph, who are we to rebel against our parents?

I leave this thought for those who have their parents still alive.

I hope this video wasn't too confusing to you.

I hope you now see that Ephesians 5 is not demanding women to be like slaves to their husbands or that they're inferior to men.

All what God wants to tell us is that men has a distinguish role in the family. The Church encourages that the husband have the final say IN THE SENSE that -- and this is verifiable with some social studies -- his authoritorian figure is well pointed out.

When the mother is undecisive, if her child asks her "Can I?...", the reply should be "Go ask your father" and "Whatever he says, goes."

Believe me, this is good. It is good for the kids to see their dad's figure as very manly. Maybe many of you don't agree with what I'm saying but this is my view.

I invite you to follow these advices and I hope you see the equal love God have for both spouses and they have a reciprocal submission, a mutual submission.

For those who are married: take in this Word you just heard and pray to fulfill it in your marriage. By following what the Word says, you'll have a better, happier marriage. If you have children, please transmit this teaching with faith.

Please don't diminish the fatherly role in the family. Unfortunately today many women want to be leaders at all costs, they want always have the final say, they think they're always right, they never do mistakes and nobody can't point anything, no criticism can be said to them.

I think this is becoming a western cultural current. We went from an extreme to the other: 50 years ago in Portugal, for example, men were the "bosses", they could do and say anything, even in an abusive way;

now we see the women behaving like such. This is not good in society and in the family. Everything should be 50-50. I hope you got enlighten by this video... See you next week, God willing.

i.e. is to worship Allah, Almighty.. perfectly.

and to associate nothing with Him.

Today, there are people who worship sheikhs!!

For example..

One of our sheikhs..

He said: My son, let me tell you this knowledge.. the knowledge that is not to be taught to people..

It is between me and you..

I said: OK, Master.

He said: do you know who will judge you at Resurrection Day?

I said: Allah, Almighty.

He said: No!..

your sheikh will judge you.

My sheikh will judge me?!

-Sure.

But, the honored companions of the prophet.. their fear.. their crying to Allah, Almighty, day and night..

And the prophet, SAW, said: 'I'm the most fearful among you from Allah'.

Is this possible.. that my sheikh will be the one to judge me?!!

Oh.. Subhan Allah

They want you to ask from sheikhs.. to ask from righteous people[Awlia'a].. etc..

The grand Ahmad Ar-Rifa'i, is my grandfather..

this is by lineage not by ideology.

and even if I would follow his method..

He was a knowledgeable person, he wasn't ignorant..

our grandfather was a scholar.

But, people who have followed his method..

they've gone on a twisted path..

So, even on massaging someone, a person would say; O my grandpa, Ar-Rifai!

What do you want from Ar-Rifai?!.. say: O Allah.

'O lad, if you would ask, then ask Allah.. and if you would request for help, then request from Allah.' says the prophet.

Be with Allah, Almighty, in all your matters.

'The [Naseha] is for Allah..

and for His messenger.. ' [says the prophet, SAW.].

Do you love the prophet?

If you do love the prophet.. SAW.

so, follow the prophet.. may Salat and Salam be upon him.

'All that is not as our matter indicates, it is denied' Says the prophet.

As things that were not done by the prophet, SAW..

nor by the 4 Imams who came after him.

Because, he said: ' Hold to my Sunnah and to that of the guided righteous Khalifs [Ar-Rashedeen] who would come after me.. '

So, all that was not done by them,

is not our concern.

Abu Hanifa, Malik, Ash-Shafi'i and Ahmad Ibn Hanbal.. may Allah put mercy upon them..

They've put the Fiqh [laws]..

first, from The Noble Qur'an..

because, The Noble Qur'an is the primary source of Tashree'a.

After that, we have the pure Sunnah..

After that, they can choose from the sayings of the companions[Sahaba]..

the companions of the prophet.

So, they didn't exceed that limit.

they didn't cross that limit.

A man has asked me in the social media, he said: Sheikh are you Salafi?

Are you Salafi?

I've answered him: We do not want Salafiah that is butting, nor Sufiah that is escalating.

We do not encourage this or that.

We want the Salafi who is a scholar..

and the Sufi who is a scholar too.

These two will never be in disagreement with each other.

they will never have discrepancies if both were scholars.

But, who would show disagreement, the one who has a stubborn opinion.

Of course..

this is the kind of person, who would oppose others.

he will be rigid in his opinion, strictly loyal to his sheikh.

If I have a knowledge from my sheikh.. I can't say; my sheikh said so and so.. this Sanad is not acceptable.

I need to bring you evidences.. proofs from the prophet, SAW..

.. from Imams.. from Ash-Shafiai.. from Abu hanifa.. these are the sources..

But, saying; My sheikh said so and so..

Hi your sheikh!

Your sheikh is not a reliable source [Sanad]

not a source of evidence..

So, if my sheikh is to talk to me about Allah, Almighty, he must give me the Sanad.

And, if you are loveing the prophet, SAW..

follow your beloved, the prophet..

follow his commands.

The Sunnah consists of verbal words..

or of direct actions..

or of approvals.

For example, the prophet, SAW, said; do so and so..

So, you must do as said.

Or, if the prophet, SAW, did something..

So, you must do it as such..

Or, if the prophet, SAW, has approved a matter or a behavior..

a thing that was done by Sahaba, in front of him..

and he didn't object, but he has approved it..

then, it is Sunnah.

All that we have to do, is to follow..

not to invent.

For example, the prophet has told me how to say Salat upon him..

then my sheikh taught me a different way of Salat upon the prophet..

But, the prophet, SAW, has already taught me how to do it..

In Sahih of Muslim, they've asked the prophet; How should we say Salat upon you?

He said: 'Say; Allahumma Salli Ala Muhammad Wa Ala Aali Muhammad..

And out of prayers [Salat], we say; Allahumma Salli Ala Sayyidina Muhammad Wa Aali Aali Sayyidina Muhammad..

But, not while doing the prayers[Salat]..

During Salat we should say; Allahumma Salli Ala Muhammad Wa Ala Aali Muhammad..

Kama Salayta Ala Ibrahim Wa Ala Aali Ibrahim..

Al-Imam Al-Nawawi said..

In his book of Al-adhkar:

If Sayyadah [Mastership] was something that is better..

the honorable Sahaba [the companions] wouldn't have missed it.

as they are more polite to the prophet, SAW, than us.

Are we polite to Sayyidina the prophet, more than Sayyidina Abu-Bakr and Umar?

NO!!

No, not even like them!

So..

When some sheikhs give us certain Whird [dhikr]

He might give me a Whird that he has made it..

No, don't give me Whird that is from you.

We know that [dhikr] is approved.

and dhikr [remembrance of Allah] is something that is great..

and it is one of the best things to do..

"So remember Me; I will remember you.. " 2:152

".. and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so.. " 33:35

Even in battles.. ".. and remember Allah much.. " 8:45

Man should remember Allah, Almighty, in all situations..

So, if our sheikh said that you should say; La Ilaha Ila Allah.. 500 times.. 1000 times..

It's OK.. nothing wrong here.

We can do such a thing..

possible to do.

I began by following the Shadhiliyya method, after Sayyidina Sheikh; Abdur-Rahman Ash-Shabori..

May Allah put mercy upon him..

He said to me, I've given you leverage to give Whird to people..

But, I didn't give Whird to anybody..

and I didn't keep on the Shadhiliyya way..

I've found that, to follow the path of knowledge..

is a better path to Allah, Almighty..

He, SAW, said:

' My mission is of a teacher.'

This means that I should learn and teach others.

Yes.

And, I've also followed An-Naqsyabandiyah..

But, I didn't continue following An-Naqsyabandiyah.

because, I've found an issue in An-Naqsyabandiyah

that is, Ar-Rabitah Ash-Shareefa [the Noble link]

it was a controversy..

even, the Mullah, Ramadan, may Allah put mercy upon him..

he didn't approve the idea of Ar-Rabitah[the Noble connection].

But..

otherwise, can we find a fault in them..

No, we have nothing against them..

Ash-Shadhiliyya might do Hadrah[dhikr] in Masjid, we do not prevent them..

Let them remember Allah, Almighty..

Yes..

dhikr in An-Naqsyabandiyah way is a silent dhikr..

Yes..

So, you might see him remembering Allah, Almighty..

don't say to him, Your way is wrong!.. No.

Leave him..

Yes..

All paths are leading to one direction..

to Allah, Almighty..

to please the Lord of the worlds..

'.. And for His messenger.. '

You might see people sitting at Mawlid festival [the celebration of the birthday of the prophet, SAW.]

O, My beloved, messenger of Allah!!

and he does sins..

and he consumes the wealth of other, unjustly

and he is deceitful.. a thief.

O, My beloved, messenger of Allah!!

Do you really love the prophet?

Do you love the prophet?!..OK..

but, the prophet didn't instruct you to consume the belongings of others..

the prophet didn't tell you do treat people like that..

the prophet didn't say to you to harm your neighbours..

the prophet didn't say to you to maltreat your family members, your wife and children!

If you are loving Sayyidina the prophet.. then just follow Sayyidina the prophet, SAW.

LEGO Atlantis Exploration HQ from 2010 reviewed! set 8077 - Duration: 11:40.

hey buddy this is a Lego Atlantis set from 2010 it's called the Atlantis

exploration HQ so it was pretty important and one of the minifigures on

the screen right now is incorrect don't worry about that I will cover that when

I get to talking about the minifigures but first let's talk about the main

structure this thing really owns that color scheme of Atlantis for the

Explorers with the trans bright green contrasted against a regular red color

it's a color combination that I just would never have expected to work

especially for underwater stuff where you know they had done so well with just

the traditional yellow submarine color from any of their underwater themes and

for some of the the bases even but this really worked out and I really like the

use of so much roundness so many of the pieces are rounded off and it really

just helps with the overall shape makes it look like it belongs underwater

there's a fair amount of detail as well and a little bit of action feature play

features stuff here with a flick fire missile over here you can rotate that

around so you can consider that to be a turret this can be rotated this little

thruster I guess for just kind of helping to keep the base in place

against strong currents but we'll find out a little bit more about that shortly

these are our turrets as well they can be used to fire off I mean they don't

physically fire off but you can consider those to be spear gun turrets you can

also take the spear guns out individually and use those one by one

with the figures and the other side is just mirror so what you're looking at

over here is pretty much the same thing from this side you can pull this down to

get a little bit of view inside and that's a little workstation they've got

a fish in there I guess they're doing a little bit of a little bit well either

preparation for cooking or some scientific measurements off it and you

can't really see anything here from this side but as we turn this around this is

kind of the interior space of the of the whole place and there's just enough room

to put a couple of figures in there with a couple of consoles you can use those

for whatever your imagination desires they have a

metal detector off to the side as well and there's a little little map just on

the top they're showing some oops is that correct

there we go that's a little bit a little bit closer and mostly underwater map

shows a little bit of surface features as well looks like you have kind of a

control center there with some control sticks I mean moving that single-seat

out of the way you see just a couple of control sticks as if you were going to

drive this which doesn't make all that much sense given that it's a base but

we'll find out a little bit more about that again in just second and this is

just another view of the first interior space and this has a chair they can

rotate around it's actually on a little little turntable there and that's about

it for the main structure the center portion up here doesn't really do

anything they just have the lights and they have the the windows which yeah

they really don't do anything now this base is on a bit of a platform to anchor

it to the sea supposedly and you have a little launch platform for a small water

scooter here this would just be held on to my minifigure from the back and they

have an air tank there presumably and a couple of Spears and you can imagine

those being fired off we can actually ram into your enemies with those they're

very very pointy and pokey another little air tank right there and a small

station for using a crane just a small crane to move small things around you

could imagine this being a pit over a deep crevice so you'd be able to access

things farther down but you really have to use your imagination they really

don't give you much here to use with that there is one of the treasure keys

included in this set it's the yellow one with the turtle on it and these were

really nice dual molded parts or actually not dual molded but two color

looks dual molded but that's actually just gold painted over the portions of

the ring and those are bar size so you can put that in the hand of a minifigure

and these also have the large antes on the underside so you could you know

fish one of these up with that crane but that's pretty much all that you can do

in this set with that crane but a couple of times maybe a few times and how I've

suggested that there may be more than meets the eye with this and it has a

transformative feature indeed this whole thing is I'm just gonna close up the

fronts there bring the roof down that's what it becomes where you have the

windows there that makes a little bit more sense turn these floodlights in

work lights inward this whole thing can lift off its platform it's interesting

what they did here with just these large kind of radome pieces makes it very easy

and simple and smooth just place this on there but ultimately the whole thing is

going to come together with just this single Technic pin at the back that will

hold everything together and now those thrusters make a lot more sense because

they're actually going to be used for propulsion and for causing this thing to

spin around you can rotate them up and down a little bit that doesn't really do

much I guess I could have while it was open I could have turned them up maybe

that would have sparked a little bit of imagination but there you go so this

whole thing is fully mobile and that looks like a great submarine it's fully

closed up it'll hold the figures inside will hold no more figures that are then

are included in this set which is good and you can just imagine these being

used for thrust as well they should have range of motion to be able to rotate

those up and down it's unfortunate that they don't there but I mean this thing

is closed up nicely from all sides again with the use of more curved pieces maybe

where they didn't even need to use them they could have gone a little bit

cheaper than that but this looks great this is yeah I won't say it's one of my

favorite of the atlantis builds you know vehicles underwater vehicles because

they did pretty much all of them very nicely but you know for something that

starts out as a base closes up very easily this transforms well and looks

pretty proper so I'm definitely very happy with this and definitely prefer

this form to the base form although the base form is great for play here's one

of the dudes this is ace Speedman and this figure is

fully correct for this set as far as I can tell he's got his eyepatch there I'm

assuming he encountered some similar took some damage in a previous battle

and the light asked me the bright green color trance color works really well

with the lime-green because it feels like Glen green is very close to an

opaque kind of version of that so they're close enough and taking off all

of the apparatus there you can very quickly and easily see what the print

looks like underneath looks a little bit dated I think for its age the torso

print the leg leg print maybe a little bit as well I think they did some stuff

a little bit better than that by this time but appreciates the metallic

printing including looks like there's some metal printing behind the the

kneepads looks like most of this actually has metallic silver color

printing behind it so it gives it a little extra shine a little extra

opacity and he has this alternate face which is really good it's just a

combination I don't think I've seen before with that much facial hair and

eye patch but then looking scared you know typically any figure with an

eyepatch and a lot of facial hair is going to look either just kind of

complacent or angry it has a little bit a little bit different kind of kind of

breaks the mold a bit and then here is Jeff Fisher and this figure is also

correct but it's not the same as it was when you first saw the figure at the

beginning of the video because I got this set used and off brick link and

brick link is a fantastic place to get parts new or used it's a fantastic

fantastic place to get new in box sets whether actually new or old stock and

it's a great place to get old sets that are almost complete but this is an old

set that was almost complete because the figure that was included with it was

this one which is completely incorrect doesn't go with that so you probably saw

the yellow arms I just swapped over to the the body and

legs of a Speedman which are correct yeah the only thing different between

those two characters in this set was just the head that's all this is this is

the correct look for him and he also has two faces one of them looking very

scared the third and final figure is a mantis

warrior came with a golden trident their pearl gold and this has a unique head

mold you know the headgear mold which is actually done in a fairly soft plastic

so it's fairly flexible and it has a really good print on it see this is

already ooh sorry about that this is already better quality printing in my

opinion than we saw on the human figures just has a little bit more detail a

little bit more artfulness to it it's less simplistic and I would say the same

thing for the print on the torso row of this one as well although this one does

not have any additional prints beyond just the front of the torso the head is

interesting seems appropriate for going kind of with a hybrid between humanoid

and and fish-based but see just the level of detail in that torso print even

though it's just a single color no it just seems more advanced to me too bad

there's nothing on the back but it's not all that bad I think it was it was good

enough to have this this headgear piece with the kind of tail that goes down

behind it gives it some extra some extra detail from the back and yeah I think

that's why detail on the tail yeah so that's the Atlantis exploration HQ it's

a little bit small for an HQ set but I think it does its job well enough it was

not the largest set from this theme for that year for that season and so I guess

it makes sense enough to have something a little bit a little bit smaller a

little bit more more accessible price-wise and to have in the range and

you know it's definitely nice to be able to get an actual headquarters set in a

theme you know something that's that important and kind of key

as a place for all of one team to come together at a price that's you know

based around two digits rather than three

I love the submarine forum and just wish there was a little bit more that you

could do with this when it's all unfolded and unpacked I feel like it

just needed some small things little bits of cargo to shuffle around or

something that's it for my look at this set though so thank you very much for

Unai Emery says he wants to work with Mesut Ozil in 'a new way' to get the best out of Arsenal's much maligned playmaker

Since he arrived in 2013, Ozil has proved to be a decisive figure - with the German star hugely popular with fans but the target of often severe criticism from many high profile figures in the media

Ozil's 2017/18 season ending poorly, with injury hampering his performances, and the issue came to a head during the Europa League semi-final second leg defeat at Atletico Madrid

The former Real Madrid star was blasted by Martin Keown after the game, who was working as a pundit with BT Sport

Keown said: "It's a big problem for thew manager because Wenger has invested an awful lot of money in this player and I'm not seeing a performance to go with it

"He wasn't fit to wear the shirt for me tonight."I've seen this a lot this season and it needs to be said because he needs to be dug out because we expect better from him

He's a World Cup winner and these are crocodile tears that I'm seeing from the player and he's not conning me

I feel he's not giving enough for Arsenal football club.".Ozil missed the rest of the season with what was described as a back injury and was initially believed to be a doubt for Germany's World Cup squad

But he did travel to Russia, only to receive more criticism for his displays as the reigning champions crashed out at the group stage

Ozil was also blamed by many for the controversy his picture with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan caused in the build-up to the tournament

The Arsenal star is now currently away recharging his batteries but is due back at London Colney just before the squad travels out for the summer tour to Singapore

There are many who believe he will not be suited to Emery's style and the work ethic the Spaniard expects from his players

But Arsenal's head coach insists he is looking forward to working with Ozil and trying to get more out of the 29-year-old's game

"We are here to help every player," said Emery. "For us Mesut is a very important player, we want to help him be well and fine with us

I want to work with him with a new way and with an ambition of continuing with this quality and help with this quality to get better

"Last year was a difficult year for all, not only for Mesut. It was for the team, they finished sixth in the Premier League

"For that it's a new way. All the players I want to give them confidence, to give them efficiency every day in their work

".Emery added: "The [German] national team didn't get the results they wanted, but today he [Ozil] is on holiday and I want him to relax and I want when he comes back with us for him to start with a good mentality
