This is what Hayley Johnsen decided to do during a stay at the upmarket Palo Alto Inn in California
Hayley was having a good old soak in the tub when she noticed what looked like a mint Tic Tac on the floor
A wriggling Tic Tac. Except, it obviously wasn't a Tic Tac. "It was maggot," make-up artist Hayley wrote on Twitter
"Then I really open my eyes. Maggot. Maggot. Maggot. HUNDREDS OF MAGGOTS IT SEEMS
COMING DIRECTLY OUT OF THE WALL. ALL OVER THE BATHROOM." Hayley quickly yelled at her partner to "get the f**k in here now" before the couple decided to get dressed and get out of their room
They approached the reception desk to complain about the infestation and were told they could be moved to a new room - but NO refund
"We say absolutely not," Hayley added. "It's almost midnight. This is a health hazard
We want our money back now." Unfortunately, a second attempt to ask for a refund was met with refusal by the manager, who then demanded Hayley and her partner check out immediately, even though it was the middle of the night
Hayley decided to call the police. "I didn't know who else the f**k to call," she added
"Batman?! I call the cops. Even dispatch was DISGUSTED. they send someone out. The cop takes four seconds to look at our room and says no you can't stay here
