Last time we played some more mini-games for fun and profit. We're now going to run around town some more to see if anyone needs our help...
...We first visit the police Inspector, who's got something to ask of Mega Man anytime after he's obtained the Yellow Refractor and the Jump Springs. Skip to 1:25
Side note: it's a wonder how the Servbots can still walk around around town without being chased off ^^
After being told about this, the next time Mega Man enters Downtown this side-event will trigger automatically...
...I don't think it'll disappear if we avoid Downtown, but let's go there straight away anyhow
Now that we've entered Downtown, there's a hidden timer running, so we can't back out anymore. There's a bit of randomness to the location of the two bombs...
...so they could be in different places in your Playthrough; the two hints about them are always the same, though: one hint is given by the lady here...
...and tells us there's a bomb near a green-coloured house; the other hint I only find after the end of the event, and it says the other bomb is on a roof...
...By which green house and on which roof they are changes on each play. There may be one problem: if there are still destroyed or partially rebuilt houses...
...you might be unable to tell if one of them was green, possibly making it harder to find one of the bombs - it was exactly my case, since that bomb was near a covered building...
...so after finding that bomb I decided to skip the other hint and go straight to looking on the roof, for fear of running out of time. You don't want to fail this mission...
...because 1) if a bomb explodes it'll destroy the nearby building, meaning more money to donate; 2) finding and disarming a bomb (press Circle near it) nets you...
...one of two Items (a Bomb and a Plastique), which can be converted to Buster Parts; 3) failing may affect Mega Man's morality. We find the second bomb at about 4:35
Side note: the event music keeps playing even after you're done; you should go back to the Inspector to report (no reward from the police)...
...but we're done here. I talk to the worker near the library to get the hint about the bomb on the roof. There's another event with the Police we could do right now...
...but I'll save it for another time. I decide to drop by the clubhouse to see how the three kids have been doing after we gave them a Pick. Skip to 7:05
It could use some more work, but it's a start. We're going back to the worker near the City Hall to ask for that Saw, but he'll say he threw it away in Downtown...
...This just means we'll have to search the garbage pails in Downtown to find it (can't remember if it's inside a random one or always the same). This time...
...I get back to the base straight away and hand over the Saw, so it'll take less time for the next event to take place. At the end of the video I just have Roll...
...turn the Plastique and Bomb we got into the Power Blaster L and R respectively: they both increase ATTACK by 2, but L also increases RAPID by 1 in place of RANGE...
...so it's the better Buster Part in my opinion; either way at this point in the game they aren't that great. Subtitles end here
