Si è scatenata nelle ultime 24 ore insensibile ad ogni parvenza di buon gusto: non appena rese note le drammatiche condizioni di salute di Sergio Marchionne e la sua improvvisa sostituzione ai vertici di Fiat-Chrysler, a sinistra e non solo si è aperta questa competizione a chi sputava meglio sull' ultimo letto in cui giaceva il manager

Una gara noir dove il primo premio è conteso da due protagonisti assai «rouge». Il primo è il quotidiano della sinistra radicale, Il Manifesto che ha mandato in edicola una copertina funebre con Marchionne a capo chino e il titolo «E così Fiat»

Il secondo, rosso di cognome e di fatto, è il governatore della Regione Toscana, Enrico Rossi, che ha pubblicato sul suo profilo Facebook un post di pessimo gusto, magari pensando solo di andare controcorrente: «Marchionne versa in condizioni molto gravi», ha esordito, «i giornali esaltano le sue capacità di leader e di innovatore

Ma, nel rispetto della persona, non si deve dimenticare la residenza in Svizzera per pagare meno tasse, il Progetto Italia subito negato, il baricentro aziendale che si sposta in Usa, la sede legale di Fca in Olanda e quella fiscale a Londra

Infine, un certo autoritarismo in fabbrica per piegare lavoratori e sindacati; e gli occupati che sono passati dai 120000 del 2000 ai 29000 di oggi

Marchionne in Italia è nato, ma praticamente non vi ha mai vissuto, seguendo i genitori che erano emigrati in Ontario quando lui aveva solo 14 anni

In Canada ha studiato, in Canada ha preso tre lauree, in Canada ha avuto il suo primo lavoro e lì ha iniziato anche la sua carriera

O preferireste quello della Alfa Romeo? Se no la Ferrari?La richiamiamo subito dai concessionari, perché noi siamo una comune aperta

».Il confronto col passato - A nessun altro è toccato in sorte questo odio così denso e pieno di rabbia sopita, di coraggio che spunta fuori solo quando l' avversario è a terra (ieri qualche operaio ha addirittura dato a Marchionne del «lurido bastardo»)

Eppure Fiat e i suoi manager hanno vissuto altre ere, più che complicate, e scontri epici e di durezza assai più evidente

Forse qualche regalino, qualche concessione sottobanco non tanto ai lavoratori quanto a chi li rappresentava li ha resi più umani di quel accade ora

Dove a dominare nella migliore delle ipotesi è il silenzio: quello della Cgil, quello di quella Confindustria da cui Marchionne aveva divorziato, o quelli di Luca Cordero di Montezemolo e della sindaca di Torino Chiara Appendino che non una parola hanno dedicato al manager non amato e in pericolo di vita, limitandosi a fare gli auguri formali ai nuovi nominati

What Makes A Psychopath? - Duration: 4:45.

Most people's idea of what a psychopath is probably come from one of these films.

We are often fascinated by things that are very outside our normal experience,

but I wouldn't say that what you see in movies and literature is an entirely accurate representation

of a majority of individuals with psychopathy.

It is estimated about 1 in every 100 people are psychopaths.

Although Hollywood psychopaths tend to be serial killers; not all psychopaths are violent,

nor are all violent people psychopaths.

So what actually makes someone a psychopath?

Psychopathy is a personality disorder and individuals who are psychopaths have

high levels of a number of maladaptive traits.

One thing that is particularly characteristic of individuals with psychopathy is that they

lack empathy and guilt.

So these are individuals who really don't feel for other people's distress, and who

don't feel bad about the transgressions that they engage in.

These individuals are also characterised by not having typical attachment relationships

with other people, so they are happy to interact with other people as long as it's beneficial to them.

These individuals are also often impulsive, so they make poor decisions and

they can often be very focused on getting rewards for themselves but don't really

compute the potential consequences of their actions.

Individuals who qualify for the label of psychopathic personality disorder are also antisocial.

Essentially they live lives that are parasitic, where they exploit other people to their own ends.

Like other mental health conditions these personality traits are difficult to diagnose on a chance meeting,

but with the right material there are reliable ways to accurately identify psychopathy.

When people diagnose psychopathy they use evidence from multiple sources of behaviors

that would indicate that here is somebody who does lack empathy, who lies, who cheats, who's violent.

When people do the diagnosis they usually use information from social services files,

from criminal justice systems, and they also conduct semi-structured interviews.

Nobody is born a psychopath.

In the same way that some individuals may have more genetic vulnerability to heart disease,

there are individuals who are more vulnerable to developing these psychopathic tendencies.

But what can be done to prevent them manifesting?

There is a lot of good data showing that, particularly in children and young people,

incentivising good behavior works very well.

I think it's more debatable to what extent you can alter someone's ability to resonate

with other people's emotions and naturally feel empathy for them.

I often use the anxiety disorder as an example to illustrate what I mean.

So we know that individuals with anxiety disorder can be successfully treated, you can teach

them techniques to help them regulate their anxiety and pay attention to things other

than those that trigger anxiety in them.

But these individuals will never be the most chilled out individuals on the planet.

There is very little data on psychopathy in non-criminal settings.

Some may fear that our social media-obsessed society that's full of egocentric celebrities

could lead to more unsociable behavior patterns.

Do these promote problematic tendencies?

There is no good data that I know of that looks at whether psychopathic behaviours are

promoted by particular cultural shifts or cultural settings for instance.

That is an interesting area of research and the fact that these sorts of traits survive

in the gene pool and within the population do suggest that they have some adaptive function

and we might infer from the fact that it appears that particular professions have higher concentrations

of individuals with these sorts of traits that there are certain cultures that perhaps

either promote these sorts of traits or are more conducive environments for these sorts

of traits to be advantageous.

There's still plenty more to learn about the human brain, how it develops and how much

your environment can impact you.

Psychopathy affects only 1% of the population but that 1% can cause an untold amount of

havoc and suffering around them, and that's precisely why scientists and policymakers

are interested in studying the condition.

This season, I would say that I'm giving my people

a little glance into my super personal life.

I have a health situation that I have to handle.

Just me kind of letting go of being a control freak.

And I don't like that, so we need to get that together quick.

How Much Bacteria Is On Your Phone | LAB EXPERIMENT REVEALED | How To Disinfect Phone | 2018 - Duration: 5:03.

That's unbelievable so this is the bacteria on my phone and this is the bacteria on a toilet seat

are you sure that's right? "Yes 100%" that's pretty amazing

have you ever stopped and wondered just how dirty your phone is

just think of all the places that you use it on your commute, at work, at the dining table

and even in the toilet yes you heard me right some people actually use their phone in the toilet

but I hope, that's not you

scientists have found that your mobile phone carries ten times more bacteria than a toilet seat

I know I couldn't believe it either

now the average person checks their phone about 47 times per day

which gives plenty of opportunities for the microorganisms from your fingers to go onto your phone

now let's see what microbes are on my phone

so I've come to my old University the University of Bradford to find out more by doing some

cool experiments Dr Isreb from the Bradford School of Pharmacy knows his stuff

when it comes to microorganisms

Hi there, "Hi good to see you". Good to see you too

So I heard you're going to show me the microbes on my phone, "Yes that's correct, let's go"

So what have you tested today Dr Isreb

"so we transferred the sample from your phone, your skin, toilet seat, cleaned phone"

"into a petri dish to see what's bacteria will grow there"

I'm really excited about this but I'm also a little nervous as to what you're gonna find

"so in terms of the number of bacterial colonies your skin came on top"

"followed by your phone, toilet seat and cleaned phone"

"so if we compare the number of bacteria on your phone to the toilet seat"

"we found there is significantly more bacteria on the phone"

that's unbelievable so this is the bacteria on my phone and this is the bacteria on a toilet seat

are you sure that's right? "yes 100%" that's pretty amazing

so now that we've seen exactly how much bacteria is on my phone is this

something that we should be worried about?

"human skin is naturally covered in microbes that don't usually have a negative effect on our health"

"here's a sample we took earlier from your skin compared to your phone"

so is there any bacteria that should concern us?

"actually studies have found serious pathogens on our mobile phones including Streptococci"

"E.coli and even MRSA. Viruses can also spread on phones so if someone has sore throat or influenza"

"and hands their phone to a friend they could potentially get it"

so these microbes they will make us automatically sick but if

they get into our system they potentially make us quite ill "exactly"

fortunately there's an easy way to cleaning your phone all you need is a clean microfiber cloth, distilled or

clean bottled water, a mini spray bottle and 70% isopropyl alcohol which you can

buy easily online or from the pharmacy be careful though as it is very

flammable to make your cleaning solution fill your spray bottle halfway with

water and fill the other half with 70% isopropyl alcohol the 70% concentration

is said to be less harsh and abrasive on your screen compared to the higher

concentration now screw the cap back on and give it a good shake lightly spray

the solution onto your microfiber cloth then rub it all over your phone

especially the buttons this guide is for once a week disinfecting I wouldn't do it

every day as it can damage your screen coating so do at your own risk or just

use a dry microfiber cloth let's see how well this method works

"so if you look at the petri dish after cleaning your phone you can find there is significantly"

"less bacteria compared to the initial test" it's really incredible to see just

how well that quick clean method works

"yes in fact even wiping your phone daily with a dry clean microfiber cloth will remove many microorganisms"

so I guess to conclude these microbes wont make us automatically sick but if they get into

our system and we have a weakened immune system they could potentially make us

very ill which is why I think it's super important for healthcare professionals

in particular to keep their phones stored away whilst at work because

as we've just seen phones can be a great reservoir for microbes and it's going to

help the spread from patient to patient

Dr Isreb also taught me another tip and that's not to take your phone into the toilet because when you flush the

germs spread everywhere and that's how you get you E.coli on your phone so keep

your phone in the other room it's also important to remember that still the

best advice is to wash your hands several times a day properly and you'll

most likely be fine now to watch how to wash hands properly the NHS have made a

fantastic video which I've left a link in the description below and that's it

Espadas Afiadas & Feitiços Sinistros (Review) - Duration: 11:03.

Hello, welcome to Dystopic Multiverse

and this video is a review of Sharp Swords & Sinister Spells, by Diogo Nogueira.

A Brazilian RPG which interestingly was first released in English, on DriveThruRPG,

and only later on released in Portuguese through a crowdfunding campaign,

and which promises an old school experience with very light rules.

So how does that work, really?

The system in its basis uses four attributes: Physique, Agility, Intellect and Willpower.

And any test you want to make, any situation where you may fail at doing something,

you roll a d20 and your objective as a player is to get a number lower or equal to your relevant attribute.

There are no skills in the system,

and if you get your attribute's number that's a critical, if you get a 20 that's a fumble.

And that's it.

Customization of characters comes through Archetypes: Warrior, Specialist and Magic User;

and your character's Vocation, a description of who he is:

it may be not just a warrior, but a Barbarian or a Duelist, not just a Magic User but a Mage, a Warlock, etc.

And what these Vocations do by describing your character, is to hint at the kind of aptitudes it has,

which is reflected mechanically in an Advantage system: you roll 2d20 instead of 1d20 and take the best result.

This give the game an interesting flexibility by not being simply classes, in my opinion,

as classes lean towards being a bit closed, shut within themselves...

But, on the other hand, for people who prefer an experience with less GM interference, so to speak,

this Vocation thing may end up being a bit too intrusive.

The game brings this as its central mechanics, but also has some mechanics around it that bring flexibility

to the experience, like Complications, something that may get in the character's way while adventuring,

and which may be brought forth by the GM in certain moments, giving the player a sort of bonus,

or by the players themselves, in exchange for an increase to their Luck Die, up to their Archetype maximum.

And what does this Luck Die do? You have occasional luck tests, like what Call of Cthulhu has,

and you may intentionally lower you Luck Die to pass a luck test or reroll any test.

There's also a Durability system, to indicate item wear and tear,

distance ranges instead of specific distances, to allow for something more Theater of the Mind than tactical.

Etc.

The setting idea, although the game doesn't have a scenario, really, is to be dark fantasy

with an old school spirit, so this durability thing is relevant, there's the fact that magic is dangerous,

spells are quite powerful but you can just cast fireball all the time, as the risk of this bringing a...

Something like a backlash if you fail is considerable.

There's no magic healing, HP are few and precious, especially in lower levels.

All of this, in my opinion, manage to give the idea of lethality and of dark fantasy in an interesting manner.

Progression is done not quite by what you do in game, but the amount of adventures you have with a character.

The book also brings random generation tables for adventures and adventure names, some stunning art

in my opinion, for instance this...

It's an extremely short book, at 64 pages counting the character sheet and the game's legal information,

Its pdf is available for free in both Portuguese and English, and you can buy a physical version

for a price that I think is very reasonable.

There are some splatbooks as well you can download, my favorite of which is called Addendum,

only available in English right now, but it brings loads of interesting ideas, an expanded spell list,

Expanded Vocations, which is basically having a longer description for your Vocation, and the way this can

customize more efficiently your character, like you may be more than a simple Ranger...

You're an Elven Ranger of Quel'Thalas, to mention a Warcraft-based setting;

or going with a Magic the Gathering scenario, you can be a Cho-Arrim archer from the Skyshroud Forest in Mercadia

going WAY back in MtG, but...

With this you can go deeper into your character's culture by specifying race and place of origin, beyond its training,

and this is very interesting, this is very... Modern, you might say...

Because you move from this... Excessive control by the GM and you can introduce elements

like by adding the questions Dungeon World uses, you as a player can bring things into the setting.

You add elements to a setting and make it more than just what the GM comes up with.

These are a few of the several small but interesting things you will find in Addendum...

Besides more beautiful art, as the author, Diogo Nogueira, is an illustrator and works in the international market.

He also was successfull in crowdfunding a book in English based on the SS&SS system but with a... Space Fantasy setting.

And I wish I could have funded it but it was too expensive for me because of the USD/BRL ratio right now

and my personal moment, as well...

But it seemed very interesting and I hope I get to aquire the book in the future.

Something that I want to mention regarding my personal opinion of this game is...

The example I gave using Magic the Gathering was not for nothing.

I think it would be quite easy to adapt SS&SS in order to make it work with the MtG settings... Very much so.

You would simply have to add a... To find a way to add a mana affiliation system to it, which is not too hard to do,

To... Create, really, this experience.

Because the flexibility you get from this Vocation system is huge, and would apply very well

to the several character types you can find in the various MtG planes.

The way I see it the game delivers well what it promises,

I really recommend you guys at least give it a look, I really REALLY like it.

It's a short book, it's easy to explain its rules, even to someone who has never played an RPG before,

the freedom it gives you because of the light rules is something that works VERY well,

and I can't stop saying how beautiful it is. Very much so. The artwork trully pleases me.
