Hello guys! My name is Y and as you probably

noticed I recently started doing English videos

in order to promote my magic all over the world and show everybody my magic.

But I wanted to show more, I wanna show you our beautiful country - Poland.

And I couldn't imagine a better way to show our

beautiful country than to show its talents.

Today I'm gonna meet one of the top Voice Kids Poland's talents

and I'm gonna show her some magic.

Today I'm gonna show some magic to Zuzia Jabłońska

who, by the way, is celebrating her birthday today.

So I've got a present for her, a balloon

but there's a prediction attached to the balloon,

in which I wrote what I think that will happen during this video shooting.

If you want to see if I managed to predict it, watch till the end.

Good morning!

- Hi!

- Thank you!

- It's a balloon but it's not an ordinary one.

It's not? Will it burst?

- It won't, don't worry. There's something attached here...

and it's an envelope. You can't open it till the very end of our meeting.

So, shall we do some magic?

But it's your birthday so I'll give you another little thing.

Watch! - Oh man!

That's the light. Where's the light?

Are you afraid of fire? Light the lighter up.

HOW I TAKE & EDIT MY INSTAGRAM PHOTOS || Alexa Litonjua - Duration: 17:40.

Hey guys, it's Alexa

So for today's video, I'm going to be showing you guys how I take my selfies and how I edit them

And yeah, let's just get on with it

So, my phone is actually an iPhone 7 and this is what I use to take all my pictures for Instagram

and especially my self cuz a lot of people ask that and

This is just what I use I'm taking myself is I like to make sure that I have

Great outdoor lighting because I realized that with my phone

The quality looks best when it's like natural light instead of artificial lights

That's just how I get the best quality for my pictures

And since I have like a big window in my room that has access to direct sunlight

It's really great for pictures as you can see on Instagram. I don't usually take my selfies with artificial light

Sometimes I do with a ring light but like the natural sunlight still does best and yeah

and I'm just gonna show you guys how I

Take it. So right now we're in my camera and as you can see

I'm like right in front of my window

That's just how it looks like and yeah

and now I'll show you what it's like when I get closer and like the Sun is directly in my face like

as you can see

the sun is like literally there

im like directly in front of

it and it looks so much better and my angle is actually like this side

so I think it's best if you guys practice like which angle looks good on pictures for mine it's this

I like to just tilt my phone this way to kind of

get the angle

But I also like it right in front of me and just take your picture

Make sure that your clothes are fixed or like your accessories if you have

And I also like to add more like extra highlighter just so that it's more obvious

I think it's best to take a lot since like you have a lot more options

Now that sun is getting brighter

So if you need a few moments to like step back under the shade things over that you don't want

like burn your skin or just not feel well because

you had too much sunlight

Also, my arms does get tired of just holding my phone in front of me. So it's

Actually here around like three to four o'clock right now, so this is when the sun is like right there

And yeah, so I usually take my selfies

Around two o'clock to

five pm

Now I dont know if you guys can see it but like being directly in front of the Sun just makes your makeup look a lot more flawless

And like makes your skin a bit more glowy and you can see it also

like enhanced

my bronzer

My highlight basically, it just makes all the pictures nice especially the colors

And like to like keep my phone around this far

And beware because it's also gets kind of hot in here

Since like you know, the sun is just there

There so yeah bring like a towel or maybe have your aircon on or a fan

Also you wanna practice what your face does, I like mine to just kinda be poker face

or maybe I could smile

Since this is my angle, I like to tilt my head a little bit more to show this part

Maybe you could like smile or do any of your usual faces

And fix your hair, oh my god

I've had instances where I look really good in the picture but my hair is like messy so didn't use it

of course sometimes you could edit it, but I prefer to make have the whole picture good already

Maybe you play with your hands a bit or your hair. Or maybe your clothes, or if you have any accessories

And one more tip since

you are

Directly facing the sun

Sometimes you might have a tendency to like squint

Right now the Sun isn't as harsh as it was a few hours ago

So it's a little bit cloudy

But it's still bright. Make sure that you pick the right time when it doesn't really

Affect your eyes because that can be like really

Weird in the picture where your eyebrows are just looking mad and you're kind of squinting because it's so bright. So

Sometimes it also takes practice. You could search online. I've heard there's like some tips and how you can pose under the Sun

Sometimes you can bring it higher just to catch the sun more

And once you're done taking your selfies now, we're gonna move on to how I edit my photos

So in my phone, I just have my editing folder and right here I have around

14 and I think 14 editing apps but in the front first page

That's where most of my frequently used ones are now

Sometimes if the photo has bad like lightning or I want to enhance more of the adjustments I'd go to the darkroom

I'll just show you how I edit in the darkroom

So, let's see

This photo

Maybe I'd like to enhance the brightness

or maybe the contrast

Highlights, but since I'm to be okay with the quality of this photo, I'm not going to do that

and then

Usually I'd go for the SEO. So let's just go straight to that

And

by the way, I think it's easier if you guys

Favorite your photos first before you go into the editing process. Just so that your

Choices are slimmed down and you already know which of the photos you look the best at

But since I'm doing this tutorial I can forgot to do it. But yeah, I'm just gonna pick randomly

I think I'll go with

This one again with that don't wanna go I'm not sure they all kind of look alike

But yeah, I don't really go for filters. I'll go straight to adjustments

I'll just add a little bit of exposure like maybe

Five and

My contrast I'll go higher around before I

Just make like really small adjustments and then for Instagram I'm going to crop it to four

Now I always sharpen my photos maybe around like a

two or three but right now a good for three points of it and

then for saturation

This is the one that I always amp up but not so much since I don't really want to look orange or to shelter

maybe around

Around like a one

Yeah one looks good

Then for the highlights and shadows

I always increase the highlights

but around

Maybe like three or four only and I went for a 25

Now white balance, I always like to make sure that my photos are warm. But since this one is already warm. I'm just gonna

Mess with the tint and I'm gonna make it a little bit more pink

so our

Still down at the pens. I don't feel like I need that is this photo right?

and I always add fade but only a little bit so

1.7 bear in mind that I don't actually like memorize these

Adjustment like

Measurements and numbers. I just added it on how I feel like it looks best

Yeah, that's just how I and it is my photo. This is the before and this is the after and I really like the look

Yeah, you can see my hair looks a lot more colorful and more brighter and my skin looks a lot

more nicely colored

And yeah, I just brought out the nice colors that I think will match my face

And then just say this and then if I have other photos that I also like let's say these two

what I will do is just select the edited one and then copy edits just

Paste it on the other two

So that was like really quick and then I would just save the photos to my camera I

Take actual size

All right now I have other

Photo editing apps here. I have font. Oh, I'll just show you

This one. This is what I actually use for my

So we select your photo or maybe even a plane image and then you can add text

Let's say the word cherry and then we could add emojis as well

Or maybe even a symbol

And you can also take the fun

And you can also favorite fonts

I'll go back to the original one and it seems fine

Like dry you can just place it there and then it is the style and whatever

But since I don't really want to add any new font, oh and it's on to my pockets

Which is a photo that maybe like could help you enhance your skin

Or maybe if you have like a pimple that you want to get rid of you could use that up and then here I have

Something keys as a photo sticker out and they just recently sponsored me like a free sticker pack

So that's what I'm doing

You select your photo and click done and then here are the sticker box that I have

Now let's just play around with the stickers, yeah, please they have like really cute stickers although some of them require payment so

It just a different kind of sticker is there whichever you want

This is a nice photo sticker outfit like provides you like hawaii's stickers, but if you don't want that

That's where I add like charities or other kinds of cute foods onto my picture

And then just go to edit

And select my photo

And then oh my god so many ads and then I'd go for sticker

So I'm not really like you're gonna

Pero esta semana tuvimos oportunidad de platicar con el fotógrafo Federico Gama, quien presentará su serie Iluminados, y con la antropóloga Marta Turok, albacea de la colección Ruth Lechuga, además de con Rivero Lake

Ellos tres son sólo tres de los ocho coleccionistas que colaboraron para hacer posible esta muestra, además de instituciones como el Museo Soumaya, el museo de la Basílica de Guadalupe y el propio Franz Mayer

En nuestro recorrido por el museo observamos parte del proceso de montaje, que incluye piezas de los siglos XVIII al XXI, que incluyen arte, diseño y arte popular

Marta Turok nos contó que la coleccionista austriaca Ruth Lechuga conformó un gran acervo de obras de arte popular entre las que hay representaciones de la virgen de Guadalupe: "Son 50 piezas en total de las cuales se expondrán 25 de diferentes materiales, como cera, palma, bordados, y regiones como Acapulco, Puebla o San Luis Potosí"

La exposición mostrará algunas de las fotografías que Federico Gama toma cada 12 de diciembre para su serie "Iluminados: "Todo surgió de mi proyecto 12D que conjuga a muchos jóvenes con los que yo he trabajado durante muchos años antes, que son sobre todo de las llamadas subculturas juveniles o tribus urbanas", dice

Federico dice que la devoción que tienen ellos hacia la Guadalupana es grande y se refleja en las imágenes que él toma

The desire of an athlete

is to participate in the Olympic games

and achieve a medal.

We all can't accomplish winning that medal.

The fact of participating in the Olympic games

is already a major achievement.

I always dreamt of it as a kid.

That is the biggest challenge each athlete has,

to go to the Olympic Games.

We have never achieved an Olympic medal so far.

And now at this moment, Cuban gymnastics

has great possibilities to get an Olympic medal.

We had it at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016,

but unfortunately our main athlete got injured

and was unable to obtain it.

I got injured three days prior to the competition.

So, when I got injured,

all the years of sacrifices I had made disappeared.

That day that he got injured,

I cried,

because I had felt a part of me has also been injured.

And to see him so sad,

for a moment, the world disappeared.

I didn't want to speak to anyone.

To see that he could not achieve that dream

that he loved.

My athletes are like my children.

All of them.

They are my family.

When it happened, there was nothing to do.

The coaches have to be strong.

So you suck it up, and continue to encourage your boy.

You have to keep going, he can't see you give up.

You can't let him feel that way either.

A diagnosis was made.

There were a few days,

but in the end he didn't recover from the injury.

He made a superhuman effort.

Every time he landed and he walked away

was like winning a medal in my eyes.

They gave me anaesthesia to be able to compete.

Even with all that,

the injury was very serious and I couldn't.

I kept trying to move my foot

and thinking about the pain

I'd feel when landing after each jump.

I think I felt the pain myself.

After every one of his landings,

I'd be standing on one foot.

Despite his injury he competed in multiple disciplines

until he couldn't put up with the pain.

I went through that and I saw it was quite difficult.

To get a medal, you suffer a lot.

It's very difficult to see an athlete with a World medal

or and Olympic medal who hasn't suffered.

I've never met one.

The more difficult the exercises,

the more points he gets.

But the risks also become greater.

There is a big risk of injury involved.

Athletes lose their teenage years,

they must act like adults when they are still kids.

One is taking a risk

of having an injury that can hurt for a lifetime.

But these are decisions that one has to make in one's life

if one wants to be a professional athlete.

One chooses want he wants just as we've chosen gymnastics.

Even though it's hard.

But it's the sport that we enjoy,

so that is why we move forward.

I have learned many things, like his will to succeed.

His strength.

I admire many values because he's made many sacrifices.

A very brave athlete.

When we compete abroad,

I feel better knowing Randy is around.

He has been my best friend since we were kids.

I can't work on the parallel bars

if he is not there to help me.

He's always there to support me.

It's good to have someone to support you,

especially your best friend.

There's always a rivalry, but among us as friends

we always move forward, regardless of who wins.

And now we are going to be like we were kids.

We challenge each other.

That way we get stronger every day

and have better results.

Gymnastics has had its ups and downs.

And now we are at an incredible moment.

We think the next Games will be much better.

Our dream is to win a medal.

We have a chance to make the dream come true.

We keep preparing. We haven't lost the faith.

We are preparing for Tokyo 2020.

Little by little, step by step,

until we achieve the medal, we will not stop.

For us, it is an immense pride and joy in that sense.

When you have limited resources,

some seek various alternatives.

You develop the intellect, the creativity,

unlike those who have many possibilities.

One enjoys it more.

When you achieve a lot with less resources than others,

it gives us a great satisfaction

to know we are at the same level

as other, much richer, countries.

We feel proud to be Cuban.

Hello guys! My name is Y and as you probably

noticed I recently started doing English videos

in order to promote my magic all over the world and show everybody my magic.

But I wanted to show more, I wanna show you our beautiful country - Poland.

And I couldn't imagine a better way to show our

beautiful country than to show its talents.

Today I'm gonna meet one of the top Voice Kids Poland's talents

and I'm gonna show her some magic.

Today I'm gonna show some magic to Zuzia Jabłońska

who, by the way, is celebrating her birthday today.

So I've got a present for her, a balloon

but there's a prediction attached to the balloon,

in which I wrote what I think that will happen during this video shooting.

Hey guys, it's Alexa

So for today's video, I'm going to be showing you guys how I take my selfies and how I edit them

And yeah, let's just get on with it

So, my phone is actually an iPhone 7 and this is what I use to take all my pictures for Instagram

and especially my self cuz a lot of people ask that and

This is just what I use I'm taking myself is I like to make sure that I have

Great outdoor lighting because I realized that with my phone

The quality looks best when it's like natural light instead of artificial lights

That's just how I get the best quality for my pictures

And since I have like a big window in my room that has access to direct sunlight

It's really great for pictures as you can see on Instagram. I don't usually take my selfies with artificial light

Sometimes I do with a ring light but like the natural sunlight still does best and yeah

and I'm just gonna show you guys how I

Take it. So right now we're in my camera and as you can see

I'm like right in front of my window

That's just how it looks like and yeah

and now I'll show you what it's like when I get closer and like the Sun is directly in my face like

as you can see

the sun is like literally there

im like directly in front of

it and it looks so much better and my angle is actually like this side

so I think it's best if you guys practice like which angle looks good on pictures for mine it's this

I like to just tilt my phone this way to kind of

get the angle

But I also like it right in front of me and just take your picture

Make sure that your clothes are fixed or like your accessories if you have

And I also like to add more like extra highlighter just so that it's more obvious

I think it's best to take a lot since like you have a lot more options

Now that sun is getting brighter

So if you need a few moments to like step back under the shade things over that you don't want

like burn your skin or just not feel well because

you had too much sunlight

Also, my arms does get tired of just holding my phone in front of me. So it's

Actually here around like three to four o'clock right now, so this is when the sun is like right there

And yeah, so I usually take my selfies

Around two o'clock to

five pm

Now I dont know if you guys can see it but like being directly in front of the Sun just makes your makeup look a lot more flawless

And like makes your skin a bit more glowy and you can see it also

like enhanced

my bronzer

My highlight basically, it just makes all the pictures nice especially the colors

And like to like keep my phone around this far

And beware because it's also gets kind of hot in here

Since like you know, the sun is just there

There so yeah bring like a towel or maybe have your aircon on or a fan

Also you wanna practice what your face does, I like mine to just kinda be poker face

or maybe I could smile

Since this is my angle, I like to tilt my head a little bit more to show this part

Maybe you could like smile or do any of your usual faces

And fix your hair, oh my god

I've had instances where I look really good in the picture but my hair is like messy so didn't use it

of course sometimes you could edit it, but I prefer to make have the whole picture good already

Maybe you play with your hands a bit or your hair. Or maybe your clothes, or if you have any accessories

And one more tip since

you are

Directly facing the sun

Sometimes you might have a tendency to like squint

Right now the Sun isn't as harsh as it was a few hours ago

So it's a little bit cloudy

But it's still bright. Make sure that you pick the right time when it doesn't really

Affect your eyes because that can be like really

Weird in the picture where your eyebrows are just looking mad and you're kind of squinting because it's so bright. So

Sometimes it also takes practice. You could search online. I've heard there's like some tips and how you can pose under the Sun

Sometimes you can bring it higher just to catch the sun more

And once you're done taking your selfies now, we're gonna move on to how I edit my photos

So in my phone, I just have my editing folder and right here I have around

14 and I think 14 editing apps but in the front first page

That's where most of my frequently used ones are now

Sometimes if the photo has bad like lightning or I want to enhance more of the adjustments I'd go to the darkroom

I'll just show you how I edit in the darkroom

So, let's see

This photo

Maybe I'd like to enhance the brightness

or maybe the contrast

Highlights, but since I'm to be okay with the quality of this photo, I'm not going to do that

and then

Usually I'd go for the SEO. So let's just go straight to that

And

by the way, I think it's easier if you guys

Favorite your photos first before you go into the editing process. Just so that your

Choices are slimmed down and you already know which of the photos you look the best at

But since I'm doing this tutorial I can forgot to do it. But yeah, I'm just gonna pick randomly

I think I'll go with

This one again with that don't wanna go I'm not sure they all kind of look alike

But yeah, I don't really go for filters. I'll go straight to adjustments

I'll just add a little bit of exposure like maybe

My contrast I'll go higher around before I

Just make like really small adjustments and then for Instagram I'm going to crop it to four

Now I always sharpen my photos maybe around like a

two or three but right now a good for three points of it and

then for saturation

This is the one that I always amp up but not so much since I don't really want to look orange or to shelter

Yeah one looks good

Then for the highlights and shadows

I always increase the highlights

but around

Maybe like three or four only and I went for a 25

Now white balance, I always like to make sure that my photos are warm. But since this one is already warm. I'm just gonna

Mess with the tint and I'm gonna make it a little bit more pink

Still down at the pens. I don't feel like I need that is this photo right?

and I always add fade but only a little bit so

1.7 bear in mind that I don't actually like memorize these

Measurements and numbers. I just added it on how I feel like it looks best

Yeah, that's just how I and it is my photo. This is the before and this is the after and I really like the look

Yeah, you can see my hair looks a lot more colorful and more brighter and my skin looks a lot

more nicely colored

And yeah, I just brought out the nice colors that I think will match my face

And then just say this and then if I have other photos that I also like let's say these two

what I will do is just select the edited one and then copy edits just

Paste it on the other two

So that was like really quick and then I would just save the photos to my camera I
