REMEDINHO - Duration: 2:05.

Flávio, pay attention. Fill that with pads, please.

-Hey. -Hey.

What do you have for Devil inside the body?

Excuse me?

The Devil has been living inside my body for a week.

Sir, maybe some propolis candy for your voice, I think...

Good idea. You can get me a packet.

But what do you suggest for taking the evil spirit out of me?

-Well... -I'm allergic to dipyrone.

Why don't you look for a church? There's one down the street.

Turn the corner, and you'll just stumble...

No, He got inside me there.

I was thinking about something like...

a laxative.

You know? For some "bam"!

Do you think I can evacuate the Devil out of me?

Sir, I'm sorry, I really don't know. I'm even a bit frightened...

I don't know what to do, because...

He is draining my energy. I'm even losing weight.

He just wants to drink booze, smoke.

I've never smoked, but now it's two packs a day.

-My God... -Yeah...

Why don't you try reading the Bible?

It's no use, He has ADHD.

He starts reading the Bible and two minutes later

He's on WhatsApp watching dirty stuff.

You could receive a healing touch too, right?

-People often... -He laughs out loud.

I go to a spiritist center just for his laughs.

He enjoys it.

Geez...

Well, I don't know what else to do.

The last thing that comes to mind

is the compounding pharmacy next door.

It's a hell of a place.

That's a hell of an option.

-Thank you so much. -You're welcome.

-Have a nice one, sir. -Quick!

-A condom and some lube, quick! -Why?

He's wants to have his ass fucked by a homeless guy.

Again.

No, it's the crack.

Crack for breakfast is never a good idea.

Only after 10 a.m.

No, have some crack after 10 a.m.

-Saulo? -What's up, man? How's it going?

Fuck, do you still have the Demon inside your body?

No, He's out, thank God.

-But... -But I got attached to it, right?

-What's going on... -It's over now, it's over.

-Where's daddy's booze? -Oh my God...

Where's the booze?

Brother Tells His Journey to Islam - Duration: 4:42.

Before I became Muslim, I was involved in community work in Edinburgh in Scotland.

And I was doing work in schools and had started doing sessional graffiti art work with young

people.

I bumped into a group that was doing a kind of outreach Church project.

And it was from the oldest churches in Scotland and was recognizing that their congregation

was getting old and that they would have to go into what was called the church without

walls.

This project was moving into the kind of club sector in a sense the entertainment sector

and I was doing a bit of performance poetry and stuff.

So I kind of fitted in with that and we did some music and stuff in club nights and stuff

and I kept up the graffiti work.

So that that got me I had a yearning to get with the scriptures and things like this that

was that was there that yearning was there I was at the point where I was very close

to getting baptized you know to have myself confirmed in a sense as a Christian because

I wanted to say I believe you know and I wanted to be with the community that shared these

values.

So I was looking for something a bit more clear laid out because I wanted to change

myself I didn't want to have something that everything appealed to me.

I wanted to have something that would challenge me.

Because I needed those challenges the with being with the Christian community and Christianity

itself didn't challenge me in any way then with all the the kind of hype and rhetoric

in and the media then I started saying to myself as I was reading this and I was reading

it totally in death and to the point of obsession and I started say to myself I'm I'm a Muslim

I'm a Muslim.

And who do I talk to you know I was an artist and I was thinking well if I became a Muslim

what was what could I draw him what could I not draw and yet I was totally into graffiti

and words and things like that and I was the kind of there was a pure to that which I was

prepared to accept and I knew calligraphy and you know the Islamic art and the geometric

designs that was that was where I was headed in a sense.

I basically met a guy at a market and he was selling he was selling calligraphic stuff

which attracted me and he was doing a promotion of gold coins the Islamic gold dinar.

So I got talking to him after about 20 minutes I just said you know yeah like I think I'm

a Muslim I think I'm a Muslim you know this kind of a thing.

I met other people around him and stuff and he he was the Emir up there in Edinburgh he

was he had a group around him.

So and I was with them for quite a time before what it took was for him to say so you've

been with us for a time are you going to say Shahada you know and at the time I was like

not ready you know not ready but it's like what am I doing here if I'm not ready.

I met him in a cafe and he didn't tell me what he said so are you going to say Shahada

yeah okay and so how do we do this you know I thought we were gonna plan it there in a

sense you know I was like well we could do it here you know so there was a guy had you

seen Dutton who's written some amazing stuff and he was there as well so we were able to

do it there in the cafe.

You got a way up that desire as a sense of hope and not let it be outweighed by the fear

so that's like to say well you know if I have to do this you know what's making you do this

see that as a sense of a sense of hope you know.

2018 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 V8 Review by AutoTopNL (English Subtitles) - Duration: 8:53.

€120.000,-

that's how much

this new Ford Mustang GT Convertible costs

you know why that is

the Co2 dependent tax

also known as 'Fun Tax'

net price in the catalog

is, yes, €40.000,-

so we get a load of tax on that

of €68.000,-

more than 1,5 times the net value

a little VAT extra

and we're at over €70.000,- in taxes

is it a deal breaker?

I don't know

that depends

on what you're looking for

we all know there are some points

where American cars don't score as well

as European competitors

and yes, I think competitors

are those in the same price category

so a Mercedes AMG C63 Convertible

or a BMW M4 Convertible

cars in that class

and you may say that's not fair

because the net price is much lower

yes, but here in the Netherlands

this is how it is

less impressive elements

refinement

interior, finishing, materials

the drivetrain

it's not as refined as the Europeans

we know it, we accept it

if we look at options

it's more than enough

everything you'd want is here

reversing camera

all the safety systems

are on the facelift model

this is the 2018 model

so if you compare it to the competition

on equipment

it's all good

it also has radar guided cruise control

heated and ventilated seats

it's all there

another thing that's here

is a 5.0 V8 without any turbos

the Ford Coyote engine

and...

this is where it challenges the competition

I can't think of a European alternative

for this engine

of course the C63 AMG

is often called of the European muscle car

which it sort of is

but there's an untouchable edge

to this N/A V8

yes.....

this is a real muscle car

with this facelift

Ford looked at, what I call

European handling qualities

they changed the chassis

the rear axle is stiffer

the suspension is stiffer

it has new stabilizers

you can get Magnaride as an option

which is the active suspension by Ford

which they took from the Shelby GT350

so hardware wise

they tried to improve the handling

the only problem is

we've got the Magnaride today

but it's a convertible

as you've probably seen

which means the torsional stiffness

is not that great

you feel it flexing

and moving around

it rolls around in corners

so handling wise

I would recommend a Coupe

this is a cruiser

drive it at 50-60%

that V8 rumbling in the background

it also has an automatic gearbox

10-speed Select shift

developed with GM

and although the shifts

are really quick

I'll demonstrate it in this tunnel

like I need a reason..

here we go

that's really not bad

the reaction to the paddles isn't great

but it's an incredible improvement

over the previous 6-speed automatic

a complaint by a lot of Mustang owners

of the pre-facelift model

was that the sound wasn't loud enough

that's because it was

a straight forward exhaust

no valves or anything

so it had to be suitable

for any moment

when you didn't feel like it

and when you wanted some sound

so on this car

you can get a valve controlled exhaust

we have it today

and it even has a 'good neighbor mode'

which means you can set a timer

so before let's say 08:00 a.m.

and after 11:00 p.m.

the exhaust is always in quiet mode

as I said

it's about..

what you want from a car

it's bizar how expensive this car is here

and it's impossible for me

to look past that

to not include it in my review

and with this price

€125.000,- is this car

this also has the performance pack

so it has Michelin Pilot sport 4S tires

6-piston Brembo brakes

even stiffer stabilizers

a Torsen limited slip diff

it has so much stuff!

so it's not a mistake to buy this car

it really is an alternative

to a European competitor

but those taxes will hurt for a while

in that respect, it is a mistake

but it'll be the best mistake

you'll ever make

because this car is much fun

and such an incredible engine

the only problem is that

the Belgian and German viewers

are probably already

rolling over the floor laughing

everytime I say that price

anyway..

you'd have to accept that

and just enjoy the car

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could be the design winner we've been hoping for ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 2:51.

SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 9 leaked render reveals the new look of the phablet expected to be

launched on August 9.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is expected to launch at the August 9 Unpacked event and

its design may have been revealed early.

A front panel, claimed to be that of the new Galaxy Note 9 leaked in June and now it has

appeared again to add weight to its validity.

The panel, shown in the image above, was sent by "reliable sources" to AndroidHeadlines

which claims this is the final model we can expect to see launched soon.

While this does offer an early look at the handset it also soberingly reveals that we

can expect the Note 9 to look very similar to the Note 8, from the front at least.

That said, the rear is also expected to be similar with a dual camera and fingerprint

reader.

Previous rumours suggest Samsung might launch a new ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint

reader in the phone.

Now it seems that the Korean company is holding out until early next year to launch the finalised

version of the tech in its flagship Galaxy S10 smartphone.

Previous rumours also suggested the Note 9 might get an enhanced iris detection system.

This image suggests the layout and front-facing sensors will be the same as the Note 8.

One variation which might be visible, for the eagle eyed, is a slightly smaller slot

for the S Pen stylus.

Samsung is rumoured to be making the S Pen the star of the launch event of the Galaxy

Note 9.

This new S Pen stylus is thought to come with Bluetooth connectivity and more sensors.

The result could be an S Pen that doubles as a controller.

Using the button you could skip slides on a presentation, activate the camera shutter,

even control a smart TV, and more.

There is talk of the new sensors allowing the S Pen to also double as a controller for

use when the phone is in a VR headset.

This image seems to suggest that the S Pen will also be smaller, or at least will fit

more flush with the Note 9 than the current model does with the Note 8.

Other specs expected on the Galaxy Note 9 include a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with

2960 x 1440 resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU backed by up to 8GB of RAM.

There could also be dual 12MP rear cameras and an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper.

A 4,000mAh battery is expected on the new Note 9 to offer true all day battery.

Rumours suggest the Note 9 will launch on August 9 and go on sale as early as August

24.

6 Signs You Have a Vitamin Deficiency - Duration: 3:16.

The fact that our body needs vitamins to work

correctly isn't news for anyone.

These organic micronutrients are very important for our bodies, and although they aren't

capable of producing enough of them, a balanced diet takes care of that.

Vitamins are responsible for different bodily functions, and the lack of them can cause

serious health problems.

In today's video we're going to explore some of the signs that can indicate a vitamin

deficiency:

Numbness or a tingling sensation in your hands and feet

One of the possible causes is a deficiency of the B9, B6, and B12 vitamins.

Other side effects of this deficiency can be depression, anemia, fatigue, and hormonal

imbalances.

Some foods that are rich in these vitamins are chicken, seafood, eggs, beans, beets,

asparagus, and spinach.

Supplementing with nutritional yeast can also help.

Dry lips Dry lips are usually tied to a Vitamin B deficiency,

in addition to other minerals such as iron and zinc.

Dry skin indicates the same problem.

In order to fix this deficiency you need to eat more beets, peanuts, and lentils.

If you aren't a vegetarian, eggs, seafood, and lean meats can also do the trick.

If you want to increase your iron absorption, you also need to consume more vitamin C.

Red and white acne-like bumps These small bumps appear mainly on your face,

arms, thighs and back.

Their appearance can be tied to a vitamin A and D deficiency, as well as a lack of good

fats such as omega 3.

In order to increase your vitamin A levels, eat more green vegetables, carrots, sweet

potatoes, and peppers.

On the other hand, vitamin D can be obtained through sunlight or supplements.

Last but not least, always give preference to healthy fats present in foods such as fish,

nuts, seeds, etc.

Muscle cramps in the legs and feet If you're an athlete, you should know how

to fix this problem.

In orders to prevent cramps, consume more magnesium, potassium and calcium.

These minerals can be found in bananas, apples, peanuts, sesame seeds, hazelnuts, zucchini,

broccoli, and green leafy vegetables.

Red scaly eruptions on your face Our body doesn't store biotin since it's

soluble.

A lack of it can cause symptoms such as red splotches on your face.

Our suggestion is that you eat boiled eggs, salmon, avocado, bananas, blueberries, nuts,

cauliflower, and mushrooms.

Hair loss Just like the red splotches, hair loss is

an indication of a biotin deficiency.

This vitamin can normally be found in products that promise to help improve hair growth.

Celebs You Didn't Know Went To High School Together - Duration: 4:17.

Hollywood is a small town, and sometimes it seems like all famous people know one another.

They usually meet through work or at fancy industry events, but some celebs actually

go way back, like all the way back to their high school days.

Whether these stars ended up going their separate ways or still remain friends, it's pretty

fun to imagine them cutting class and hitting up school dances back in the day.

Let's take a look at the celebs you didn't know went to high school together.

Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts

Best buds Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts both attended the North Shore Sydney Girls High

School in Australia, but they weren't super tight right away.

Apparently, it wasn't until the two actresses starred in the 1991 movie Flirting that they

became close.

Watts explained on The Jess Cagle Interview,

"We already knew each other but that's when our friendship forged."

According to Watts, it's their teenage years that led them to have one of the strongest

friendship in Hollywood.

She added,

"That history binds you.

We have a strong respect and love for one another."

"Great friends.

Known each other for three decades now.

You go through a lot together."

Busta Rhymes and Jay-Z

Two of the most prolific rappers to come out of New York, Busta Rhymes and Jay-Z, were

classmates at Brooklyn's George Westinghouse Career and Technical Education High School

in the '90s.

The school cafeteria is where they honed their rapping skills back in the day.

"Me and Busta Rhymes actually had a rap battle in the lunchroom."

"In the lunchroom?

Who won that rap battle?"

"Losing that battle to Jay in speed rapping at that time is what made me one of the most

dangerous speed rappers today."

Lauryn Hill and Zach Braff

Singer Lauryn Hill and actor Zach Braff were once friends during their days at Columbia

High School in Maplewood, New Jersey.

Braff told radio host Howard Stern that he and Hill would travel to acting auditions

together and that they took all the same classes.

However, after gushing about Hill's likable high school personality, Braff also shared

that the Fugees star ignored him after graduation.

Recalling a charity event years after high school, he admitted,

"She really acted like she had never known me."

Ouch.

At least Braff can make light of the situation.

Playing off of Hill's famous album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Braff joked to a fan on Twitter,

"I'm the reason she was 'miseducated.'"

Cameron Diaz and Snoop Dogg

Once upon a time, actress Cameron Diaz and rapper Snoop Dogg attended Long Beach Polytechnic

High School in California, and apparently bumped into each other more than a few times.

Diaz revealed in a January 2011 interview on Lopez Tonight that Snoop was a year ahead

of her in high school.

"But I remember him, he was very tall and skinny.

He wore lots of ponytails in his head."]

She admitted that they also shared a few, well, business interactions.

"Pretty sure I bought weed from him."

"Yeah!"

As for Snoop, he had nothing but nice things to say about Diaz.

"She ran with my homegirls, all my little cheerleading homegirls.

She was in their little group."

"She was cool, she was fly, and she was hip.

I never got at her like that because she was younger than me."

Liv Tyler and Kate Hudson

Cool girls Liv Tyler and Kate Hudson both attended the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences

in Santa Monica in the '90s.

According to Us Weekly, the two became close friends at school, and later starred in Dr.

T & the Women together.

Hudson has also developed a bond with Liv's famous dad, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.

Shortly after Hudson announced her third pregnancy, she shared a snap of Steven cradling her bump,

with the caption:

"Baby girl got some good hugs from Papa Tyler this weekend."

It looks like all these years later, Liv and Hudson still make it a point to hang out when

they can.

In June 2016, Hudson shared a sweet Instagram pic, writing,

"Got to catch up with this beauty in the city."

Jessie J and Adele

Powerhouse singers Adele and Jessie J both attended The BRIT School for Performing Arts

and Technology in London, England, and this cool connection runs deeper than just passing

each other in the hallways.

"We use to sing a lunchtime together, which is really surreal thinking about it now."

According to People magazine, Jessie J shared,

"We were in the same year!

[...] Obviously at that time we didn't realize that we'd both [eventually] have music out.

But she's amazing.

She was always that really bright energy at school."

From the school cafeteria to the Grammy's, both ladies went on to become bright shining

stars in the music biz.

Top 9 Features Coming To iOS In The Fall - Duration: 3:13.

- [Narrator] The latest iPhone software will be released

this fall, and Apple has already shown off

a bunch of really cool new features.

Here are the top nine.

Group Notifications.

You'll finally be able to group notifications by app.

You can interact with them one at a time,

or the entire group at once.

Goodbye overwhelming home screens.

- With a single swipe, you can triage a whole group

of notifications away.

AR Measure.

Ever find yourself needing to know

the exact measurements of something?

Your phone will be able to tell you.

The new Measure app uses augmented reality

to measure real-world objects.

It's still too soon to tell how accurate it is,

so don't toss your tape measure just yet.

Memoji.

This one is only for the iPhone X,

and possibly some unannounced phones coming this September.

Apple has taken the Animoji it introduced in iOS 11

and made it possible for users to create their own.

They can be controlled and animated with your own face.

Messages is becoming more social.

The messages camera will have filters and other features

commonly found on the Instagram and Snapchat cameras,

and you'll be able to send stickers via third-party

sticker packs.

Screen Time.

Feel like you're on your phone all the time?

This new feature will show you how often you look

at your phone,

and how much time you're spending in each app.

There's even a feature called Downtime

to lock you out of certain apps.

- Screen Time empowers you with both insight and control

over how you spend your time.

Do Not Disturb at bedtime.

This feature will keep notifications off your lock screen

while you sleep.

Say goodbye to waking up to a bombardment

of news, email, and other notifications.

More privacy features in Safari.

Safari will prevent share, like, and comment widgets

from tracking you across the web,

meaning sites like Facebook will have a harder time

gathering data about you and your browsing habits.

- And it will be dramatically more difficult

for data companies to uniquely identify your device

and track you.

Thesaurus.

The look up feature used to only pull up the dictionary.

Soon, you'll be able to bring up the

Oxford American Writer's Thesaurus.

Use your phone to add some new words to your vocabulary.

Performance enhancements.

iOS 12 won't have that many noticeable new features.

Instead, it's designed to speed up your phone.

Apple is promising things like 40% faster app launches

with the new OS,

and early beta testers are noticing a difference.

Apple should reveal the fully developed iOS 12

early September,

and will probably make it available to all users

later that month.

- And this is iOS 12.

I hope you like it.

And now, when you look at the competition,

it's hard to say they really have a software update model.

Spain Travel Guide | Tips & Local Hacks for Visiting Spain - Duration: 20:41.

When I came to Spain and I saw people partying,

I said to myself, "WTF?"

Whether you come to Spain for the Fiesta in Ibiza, a siesta on the Costa Brava,

or a foodie tour of San Sebastian,

this video will help you avoid tourist traps, understand Spanish cultural do's and don'ts, and learn everything

you need to know to make your trip to Spain truly unforgettable.

I'm Alex. I'm Marko.

And you are watching Vagabrothers,

your go-to guide for travel tips, vlogs and inspiration here on YouTube.

We lived in Spain for three years,

and in this video, we're going to share all the tips, hacks, and

insider information that we learned while living there.

So if you haven't already, hit the subscribe button and turn on notifications so you don't miss any videos,

share this video with your travel buddies,

and get ready to have some fun because

"La gente esta muy loca."

Hello again Bond, whiskey? Thank you, M.

Holiday in Spain? How original.

Where are we off to this time, Magaluf?

No, no far too common.

Ibiza? A bit too posh for my liking.

Barcccccelona? No, it's more subtle than that.

Shall we get on with the briefing then, M? Right.

Spain is the second largest country in Western Europe,

occupying approximately 80 percent of the Iberian Peninsula.

Modern Spain is a product of thousands of years of migration and conquests,

most notably the Phoenicians, the Romans, and

more recently the Moors who in the eighth century invaded from Morocco

to turn Spain into one of the leading centers of learning in all of the world.

A mosaic of conscience if you will, M. Precisely.

Modern Spain is best described as a nation of nations,

a legacy of the Reconquista when the Catholic kings of Castile

united all of the different kingdoms to push out the Moors in 1492.

1492 the year Columbus sailed the ocean blue.

Spot-on. In just a number of decades,

Spain went from being a conquered occupied country into one of the most powerful kingdoms in all of history.

Okay. Let's talk where to go.

The three most popular cities are Madrid, the capital ,

which brings together the best of Spain;

beachside Barcelona, which fuses the medieval quarter

with the modernist architecture of Catalan born Antoni Gaudí;

sultry Sevilla in the south, the birthplace of flamenco.

Spain is full of distinct regions like

Catalonia with the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees;

the Basque Country, a foodie paradise with great waves and a unique culture and

Andalusia where Moorish influence blends with iconic Spanish traditions.

And of course, there're beaches...

not just the Costa del Sol or the Costa Brava,

but the Balearic Islands- Mallorca, Minorca, Ibiza, and Formentera

and the tropical Canary Islands,

which are actually off the west coast of Africa and unlike any part of Spain.

If you want more information on where to go and

what to do in Spain, make sure that you subscribe to our channel and turn on notifications

so you don't miss the video that we're making about that subject very soon.

Also if you haven't seen our eight part series on the Basque Country

or our top ten things to do in Barcelona,

check out those videos, as well.

Moving on to climate....

Although some of Spain's most popular destinations are on the Mediterranean,

most of the country is on what's called the "meseta," an elevated plateau

that's cold in the winter, hot in the summer, and makes Madrid Europe's highest capital.

The north of Spain is green because it rains all the time,

especially in the Basque Country where locals have a specific name

for their type of rain called, "xirimiri."

Therefore, when packing it's best to bring layers,

especially if you're journeying away from the Mediterranean.

If you're visiting in the winter,

make sure you have a warm waterproof jacket,

although it doesn't really snow unless you're in the mountains.

Also, pack a dressy outfit for going out or just head to a Zara if you find yourself underdressed.

In summer Spain gets slammed with foreign tourists known as "guiris,"

while domestic tourism surges around Christmas and Easter, known as Semana Santa,

which is most big in Sevilla.

Over tourism is a serious problem in parts of Spain,

specifically Barcelona so we recommend traveling during the shoulder seasons,

September to November or March to May, when the weather is still warm,

but prices for flights and hotels are much lower than in summer.

Language is a tricky issue in Spain.

You might assume that everyone speaks Spanish,

but many regions have their own languages

like the Latin based languages of Catalan and Galician

or Euskera, the Basque language,

the only non Indo-European language in Europe and one of the oldest living languages in the world.

Spanish as we know it actually comes from the region of Castilla,

So people in Spain call it Castellano.

Castellano became the lingua franca of Spain during the Reconquista,

which was led by the king and queen of Castilla, Ferdinand and Isabella.

Calling Castellano "Spanish" is kind of like calling English "British,"

if that makes sense because England's only one part of Britain.

These regional languages are central to many people's identities,

especially in the Basque Country

and Catalonia, where many people are pushing for independence from Spain.

If you try to learn some local words like "kaixo,"-

"hello" in Basque or "Bon Dia" in Catalon,

It will be much appreciated by the locals.

Now that we've covered the basics,

let's debunk some popular myths starting with the one thing that we all seem to associate with Spain--

bullfighting.

The truth is that not all Spaniards love bullfighting.

In fact many hate it, and it's banned in regions like Catalonia.

However, it remains popular in more traditional parts of Spain,

and it's probably not going anywhere anytime soon.

Nor do all Spaniards dance flamenco.

Like many things associated with Spain, it actually comes from Andalusia,

specifically from the Roma people who originally migrated from India almost

1500 years ago and who despite persecution have added much to Spanish culture, especially in the south.

Spaniards do know how to enjoy life so many foreigners assume that life has been easy.

But the truth is Spain has faced some serious challenges, especially in the last century,

most notably the Spanish Civil War of the 1930s in which the democratically elected

republic was overthrown by the fascist dictator Francisco Franco

who ruled Spain with an iron fist until his death in 1975.

Since then Spain has returned to democracy,

had a liberal Renaissance known as La Movida Madalena,

and joined the European Union.

But the wounds of the Spanish Civil War that turned brother against brother are still very ,very, real.

Be respectful.

More recently challenges include the 2008 financial crisis

known as "la crisis," which left one out of two young Spaniards without a job,

which is why over 80% of young Spaniards under 30 still live with their parents.

The economy has started to recover, but unemployment and low wages

continue to make life difficult for young Spanish people.

Not all Spaniards take "siestas."

And the tradition actually originated in Southern Portugal

where it was a way for day laborers to get a rest from the midday sun.

Typically you have lunch at home, have a short nap,

maybe take a "paseo," a walk around town and then return to work from 5 to 8 p.m.

That being said most small businesses do shutdown between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. everyday and on Sundays.

So plan your shopping accordingly.

Spain has to be one of the most fervently Catholic countries in the world.

It's the birthplace of the Inquisition, the Jesuits, and Opus Dei and even though over

Three-quarters of modern Spaniards identify as Catholics, very few of them actually practice the religion.

Furthermore, Spain was deeply influenced by Sephardic Jews

who arrived during Roman times and spoke a hybrid of Spanish and

Hebrew known as Ladino, as well as the Islamic Moors who turned

Cordoba, Sevilla ,and Granada into some of the most advanced centers

of science and learning in all of the world at that time.

During the Inquisition these two religions were forced to either convert to Christianity , leave Spain, or die.

But their legacy has survived in many ways:

Jewish influence on Spanish cooking or the Arabic impact on the Spanish language

"azucar, aceite, al" = alcohol

any word that starts with an al probably comes from Arabic.

Some people assume that Spanish culture is similar to Latin America,

and while Spain did conquer the vast majority of the Americas,

the cultures in places like Mexico, Peru, or Argentina are

actually blends of Spanish culture with indigenous and immigrant traditions.

Of course, there are many things that flowed back to Spain from the Americas

most notably looted gold and silver, which still to this day still adorn

many of the cathedrals across the country, most notably in Toledo.

Holy Toledo!

Not to mention a love of hot chocolate and the potato,

which form a cornerstone of the Spanish diet.

Speaking of diet, let's talk about one of the best parts of Spain-

food and drink.

With over 171 Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain

and good food at any price point,

Spain is easily one of the best foodie destinations in the entire world.

Before we talk about where and what to eat,

let's talk about how to eat,

specifically why Spaniards eat later than other European countries.

Breakfast or "desayuno" is a minimal affair in Spain.

It's usually just a sweet pastry and a cafe con leche,

which is kind of like a latte or a cortado,

which is a shot of espresso with just a little bit of milk.

Lunch known as "la comida" is the main meal of the day.

It's served during the siesta from about 1:00 in the afternoon until 4:00pm.

Save money with a "menu del dia,"

a three-course meal with wine, coffee, and dessert included for around 10 to 15 euros.

It's the best deal in the country, and if you're on a budget,

timing the menu del dia right could carry you through the full day.

Spain is famous for its culture of tapas,

which means "covers" because supposedly they were designed to cover the

glass of wine for travellers in roadside inns

so they didn't get too drunk before they had to ride their horse to the next village.

A lot of different explanations...

No one really knows where they came from,

but they're excellent and usually cheap if not free, at least in Granada

where you get a free top-up with every drink order, which is pretty epic.

You can eat them for lunch, but it's more common to have them with a glass of wine at dinner.

In the Basque Country they serve "pintxos,"

similar to tapas but a bit more elaborate and a little bit more expensive.

However, the best pintxos bars in San Sebastian

will allow you to taste high-level Basque cuisine without

having to spend the money for a Michelin-Star meal.

The highest concentration of Michelin- Star restaurants in the world are found in Catalonia and the Basque Country.

With more Michelin stars per capita than anywhere else on earth.

These restaurants are not cheap.

They range between a hundred to three hundred euros for a 12-course tasting menu, wine not included.

If you can afford it, it's a bucket-list dining experience that you will never forget.

Alright now let's talk about what to eat,

the essential dishes to try on your trip to Spain.

Perhaps the most classic Spanish dish is the "tortilla de patata."

A tortilla in Spain is different than tortilla in Mexico.

It's an egg and potato omelette that's sometimes serve with onion or chorizo,

but best served if it's gooey in the middle.

You start to see them around ten o'clock in the morning where you can have it

with a coffee for a late breakfast or late at night.

They're generally the tastiest and cheapest way to keep yourself full throughout your trip.

Paella is Spain's most internationally know dish,

but locals don't eat it often outside of Valencia.

So if you see it advertised at a restaurant in Madrid or

Barcelona, then chances are it's probably a tourist trap.

Pescatarians, beware!

Traditional paella usually include quail and ham.

If you want a more traditional seafood plate,

try cod fish known locally as "bacalao," best served

Pil Pil style in Bilbao in the Basque Country.

Also anchovies and bonito tuna are very common, especially in tapas.

"Jamon" is Spanish for ham, cured ham to be specific.

It comes in all different types of qualities- pata negra is the highest quality

and jamon serrano is generally a good quality that's still affordable.

Locals buy jamon serrano buy the "pata,"

literally a cured leg of ham.

It's probably more economical and easy to carry if you just get a couple slices at the deli,

put some jamon on a baguette with some manchego cheese, and you're golden.

Even better before you put down the ham and the cheese,

rub the bread with garlic and tomato and you have "pan tomaca," a typical Catalan breakfast

that's good any time of day anywhere in Spain.

Lastly, an essential dish is "patatas bravas," brave patatoes.

crispy potatoes with spicy mayonnaise.

Now, it's nothing special, but it is a great way to line your stomach before getting more

expensive and less filling tapas.

Trust me. There's nothing worse than going out for pintxos or tapas,

spending 50 euros and coming home hungry.

So do as the pros do- get the patatas bravas primero,

and then you should be good to go.

With all this good food,

you'll need something to wash it down.

You're probably thinking about sangria,

but this is really something that's mostly served to tourists.

A smarter choice is to try Spain's many wines which are high quality and low price,

on average about one euro and 25 cents per litre, to be exact.

Here's an overview of Spain's main wine regions and varietals:

The most common grapes are Tempranillo,

a medium bodied red that's grown largely in the La Rioja region in Northern Spain,

and its name comes from being picked somewhat early in the season.

Also popular is Garnacha or Grenache, which is typically a mixing grape

but can be great on its own.

Cava is a sparkling white wine

similar to champagne, and it's mostly grown in Catalonia.

Sherry is very popular worldwide,

but in Spain is called "jerez" after its town of origin in Andalusia.

Other popular whites are Albariño, which is minerally because it's grown

on the fjords of the coastal region of Galicia and the naturally effervescent

txakoli, which comes from the Basque Country,

and both txakoli and albariño go great with seafood.

Most Spanish beers are crisp lagers like San Miguel,

but craft beer is making inroads in major cities.

Hard ciders are popular in the Basque Country and Asturias, and

students all over Spain love to pre-party with a mixture of coca cola and

boxed red wine known as "kalimotxo."

Lastly, let's talk about one of the most important things to know before you go-

social etiquette do's and dont's.

Do greet people, both friends and total strangers, with two kisses on the cheek.

There's nothing romantic about this.

It's done between everybody, but usually not between guys.

You're not actually kissing people on the cheek,

you're kissing like right next to the cheek.

You go left side first, then right side.

You make the noise.

You don't actually do a slobbery kiss on cheek because that would be weird.

Don't expect things to get done at the snap of a finger.

This is especially important for people from the United States of America

who expect the customer to come first.

In Spain the customer does not come first,

and you will not get anywhere by demanding things to happen right away.

Remember if a store or restaurant is closed, it's closed.

Do linger after the meal is finished.

In Spanish this is called the "sobremesa," and it's one of the best parts about dining with friends.

So have a coffee or a liquor like anis or patxarran,

and enjoy the conversation.

Don't tip too much.

One of the reasons you can enjoy the sobremesa

is because waiters aren't trying to turn your table over to get more tips.

So sit down and enjoy slow food.

Ladies, do feel free to go topless at the beach.

It's legal across Spain and totally normal.

Guys, try not to make a big deal about girls being topless at the beach.

It might not be normal in your country, but it's really impolite to stare.

So if you really can't hold it all together,

I guess just put on a pair of sunglasses and try not to be a weirdo.

For both guys and girls, do expect to be out late.

Spaniards usually dine at around 10:00 or sometimes even 11:00 p.m.

and stay out all night dancing

" Viva la fiesta. Viva la noche."

Spaniards drink for a long time,

but they do it little by little so nobody ever gets too wasted.

If you get drunk quickly or early,

you're going to make a fool out of yourself.

Do expect to see a lot of PDA, public displays of affection.

This is because young people typically live with their parents,

and they don't really have a place to go hook up with their boyfriend or girlfriend.

So after the clubs close, you typically see a lot of people, especially in parks, making out...

sometimes more than making out, sometimes a lot more than making out.

Last but not least, if you want to dive into Spanish culture,

here are some further resources:

The classic Spanish book is Don Quixote de la Mancha, con su amigito,

Sancho, which was the first novel ever.

If that's too dense for you,

you could read Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon,

a fictional story set in Barcelona during the Spanish Civil War.

Many of the most powerful

stories from Spain come from the period of the Spanish Civil War.

A lot of them were written by foreigners like Homage to Catalonia, by George Orwell,

or Farewell to Arms, by Ernest Hemingway

who set many of his novels in Spain, including the Sun Also Rises.

For those of you who want a really deep dive into Spanish culture,

I recommend the New Spaniards, by John Cooper.

It's thin, concise, and will tell you everything about Spain.

Spain has a great film industry,

most notably the films of director Almodovar

including Volver and

Woman on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

Also great is Pan's Labyrinth and Ocho Apellidos dos Vascos,

known as the Spanish Affair in English,

which is available on Netflix and

documents the hilarious story of a Basque woman falling in love with an Andalusian man.

Lastly, check out our Spotify playlist about Spain.

We have a link in the info box.

We got tunes from Ojos a Brujo, Facto Delafe, y Las Flores Azules and

Manu Chao, who is actually French but his parents came from Spain.

Okay, damas y caballeros, ladies and gentlemen,

those are the things that you need to know before you go to Spain.

[Birds Singing]

So, you've checked out the pool.

You've listened to "Madama Butterfly."

You've eaten some Scallops.

You're forgetting the crushed Peas.

I thought mentioning the Scallops would bring the Peas to mind.

"Crushed" Peas.

The "Crushed" Peas.

Details are very important.

Which is why I mentioned the Egyptian cotton sheets.

The silk dressing gown.

Indeed.

And the White Lily.

I don't remember a White Lily.

It was in the vase on the breakfast table.

[Engine hum]

And now I'm getting stressed because I can't remember it.

Nevermind.

You trying to relax me doesn't change the truth.

We're still 3 and a bit years away from home

and everyone will be 20 something years older.

Which is why when you think of home

its important to remember the things

and the places that you love the most.

Remember people as they were.

Don't speculate on how they are.

Which in any event will turn into

a journey up your own backside

as you end up feeling more and more sorry for yourself.

I'm not feeling sorry for myself.

What then?

I'm fed up.

Fed up of you.

Me and you.

Well...

There isn't a great deal we can do about that.

Faulty like Nebulium.

[Radio] Our comet providing the faulty data?

The models they used at the time

Why Sony Won't Release Uncharted 5 Yet - Duration: 4:30.

From the moment Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was released in 2007, Sony knew it had a hit

series on its hands.

Uncharted has gone on to become one of the most revered series in gaming, achieving massive

critical acclaim for its action-packed set pieces and well-crafted narratives.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, released in May 2016, was another massive hit.

So, more than two years later, why hasn't Sony released Uncharted 5?

Here are a few guesses…

End of an era

By the time the credits roll in A Thief's End, it's obvious that protagonist Nathan

Drake's time as a globe-trotting treasure hunter is up.

Creative Director Neil Druckmann told The Sun that Uncharted 4 is, quote, "the end for

Nathan Drake," explaining,

"I feel like the best way to honor him is to go out on top, to finish his story."

But that's not to say there won't be another Uncharted title at some point.

After all, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, a standalone expansion to Uncharted 4 without Nathan Drake,

was released in August 2017.

And Lost Legacy's Creative Director Shaun Escayg told Eurogamer in June 2017 that there

are still plenty of Uncharted stories to tell:

"I wouldn't say [Lost Legacy is] the end.

This thieving world is huge.

There's so many characters.

[...] [T]o say the Uncharted world is done, […] I doubt that highly."

So why haven't we heard any rumblings about the next numbered installment?

Priorities

Despite the bleaker, more adult tone, 2013's post-apocalyptic adventure The Last of Us

shone through with everything that made Uncharted great — a well-told story, authentic dialogue,

and frantic, highly cinematic set-pieces.

It all had the hallmarks of a Naughty Dog classic, and was a huge success.

Announced during Sony's 2016 PlayStation Experience, the highly anticipated The Last of Us Part

II doesn't even have a release date, as of the making of this video, so Naughty Dog clearly

has its hands full.

It seems unlikely the studio would want to divide its workforce to develop another huge

game like Uncharted 5 simultaneously — if they even could.

When Lost Legacy was in development in June 2017, Escayg told Eurogamer,

"We have a truly ambitious schedule.

[The Last of Us Part II] is working but at a lot slower pace right now.

The entire team is on Lost Legacy — that's a couple hundred of us strong."

So Uncharted 5 might not be in the works yet simply because Naughty Dog doesn't have the

manpower to develop two triple-A titles at the same time.

What about handing it over to a new developer?

Druckmann told GamesRadar in April 2016 that he's open to that idea:

"If [a new developer] made a great game I'd be excited.

I'd want to play an Uncharted I didn't work on.

It'd be a lot of fun.

Obviously [Naughty Dog] would have a big part in it as the creators of the franchise.

We'd just want to make sure they get the essence of it right."

The multiplayer dilemma

With "Battle Royale"-style games such as Fortnite and PUBG all the rage, Sony and the developers

have a tough choice on their hands regarding the next Uncharted title.

Do they refine the pre-existing Uncharted multiplayer formula, or overhaul it and make

Uncharted 5's multiplayer mode jump on the Battle Royale bandwagon?

Making the switch could certainly pay off, but it could also hamper development, considering

it's such a radical departure from the matches the engine is currently capable of handling.

Tweaking multiplayer features could be partly to blame for why Naughty Dog has yet to set

a firm release date for The Last of Us Part II.

In June 2018, co-director Kurt Margenau told GameSpot,

"Multiplayer is coming back [in The Last of Us Part II].

We're not going to talk details yet about what form that takes, but we can confirm there

will be multiplayer."

Cinematic synergy

With an Uncharted prequel movie in the works starring Spider-Man: Homecoming's Tom Holland,

it makes sense for Sony and Naughty Dog to wait and release Uncharted 5 and the still-unnamed

flick together.

But there's no telling when the film is going to be released.

It's been in development for more than a decade, but the project now has a few promising names

attached.

ScreenRant reported in January 2018 that Night at the Museum and Stranger Things director

Shawn Levy is helming the origin story, while Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. writer and producer

Rafe Judkins is writing the screenplay.

Rumor has it

Uncharted 5 might already be in the works, according to a report from Game Revolution,

but as of the making of this video, it's just a rumor.

In April 2018, Sony posted a job listing for a Lead Gameplay Animator to help create a

title that sure sounds a lot like Uncharted.

Plus, the studio Sony is staffing is partnering with Visual Arts Service Group, the team responsible

for helping to bring previous Uncharted titles to life.

Only time will tell if this unannounced title turns out to be Uncharted 5, but it looks

promising.

That would put the release date in a way-too-distant future for many fans, but it would also set

Sony up for yet another record-shattering blockbuster exclusive, following 2018's God

of War and The Last of Us Part II, which is a safe bet for 2019.

I Am A 9 Year Old Female Pro Skateboarder | Anomaly | Refinery29 - Duration: 5:39.

There're a lot of things I can do.

There's a lot of things I want to do.

Whatever it is, whether I'm skating or surfing,

I do it with love and happiness.

My name is Sky and I'm nine years old and I'm from Miyazaki, Japan.

I first started skateboarding when I was two or three.

You have to do this side.

Oh my gosh.

My name is Bod Boyle.

I think I met Sky...

three years ago now I think it was.

I heard of Sky before I knew her actually because I had seen her popping up on some

social media channels.

This young, small girl with this brother — they were ripping.

Venice Beach is pretty wild but it's one of my favorite places in America.

Excuse me?

Yes ma'am?

Does he ever bite?

No ma'am.

Sky.

Don't cry now.

Give me this hand.

I'm really scared of animals just so you know.

It gets me more excited if I'm scared of it.

Today I'm trying to learn a triple kickflip.

Ow.

It's kind of exciting like if you feel like you're going to fall you're gonna fall.

If you don't think that you're going to fall you're not going to fall.

That's crazy!

Well my biggest dream is to go to X Games.

X Games is the biggest action sport event in the world.

They won't invite me because they told me I'm too young but that's the point.

I wanna inspire girls that even if you're like three or four you can still do it.

Just believe in yourself!

I have not seen someone quite like Sky.

Not only is there a lot of raw talent there but there's also this little excited kind of

having fun person in there.

You really see it when she skates just as far as that she's enjoying it and it's really

rare to see that.

I like skating with people, I like surfing with people.

I really want more girls to skate and I really want girls to have fun and just do it for yourself.

I started surfing since I was like four probably, a little later.

I love to be in the water and I love surfing and it makes me feel like I'm in the air.

It makes me feel like I'm spraying like a mermaid.

Sometimes it's annoying sometimes it's funny.

There was this boy — he pushed me in once.

He tried to but it didn't work.

He saw me and didn't catch the wave and he felt bad for me.

Tomorrow I'll go back to Japan.

I don't know when I'm coming back to America but when I'm here I have so much fun.

Wherever I am I try to focus on what I love because it makes me feel alive and happy.

My motto always is: be brave, be strong, have fun, and do it because you love it.

moment turned crippling defeat for the wizard brothers thinking you were

thinking that family is more important than winning in that sense we won the

family Cup an event that has no trophy and doesn't exist

this just in merit but while finland may have won the cup the real winner was the

brave wizard herman who refused to abandon his inferior and less handsome

brother Jack oh excuse me for a moment

A Female Comedian Discusses Her Stay At Home Dad | 50/50 Day | RIOT - Duration: 6:57.

She knows a few things about entertaining!

Catherine, get on up here.

Hello!

You guys, I figured out how to not be nervous before coming up here: drink two glasses of wine really quickly.

Um, I feel great.

Just to set the scene for what you're about to experience, I was supposed to be doing

this with my co-worker Rebecca — she's unfortunately sick today.

We should all send her our best wishes.

So there's actually 50 percent of the women who are supposed to be on this stage right

now, which felt kind of fitting.

So this is going exactly to plan.

So what am I — well I can't do what our original pitch was, which did involve acting out

the peach scene from Call Me by Your Name, and that's not a joke.

That's what it involved.

I'm gonna talk about another part of my life that gender has kind of shaped, and it's that

I had a stay at home dad.

I didn't — I didn't know that that was not normal until my junior high school when my

teachers said, kind of offhand, "You know, some people

have stay at home dads," and everyone in the class was like "Mmm."

And I was like, "Mhm."

And, I mean, it's always what I knew.

And my mom, my mom worked at the same job her whole life.

She actually went into retirement last year, which is something no one in this room is ever gonna experience.

But it's just how it was.

I mean, my dad did work for a little bit during my early years but when I was about seven,

they both kind of decided, you know, dad will stay home with me and my

sister, and my mom will continue working.

And this was the '90s, they were woke as hell.

Yeah, so my dad would pick me up from play practice, he would take me to

the dentist, he would call the teachers whenever I felt they were treating me unfairly, which was often.

And — Mmm yeah, I mean, and then it's kind of why I get kind of so annoyed when

there are those one season shows that get cancelled, that the whole premise of them is like,

men try to raise baby.

And because it's just — for one, it perpetuates this stereotype that women are born just inherently

knowing how to raise a child, how to raise a human life, which is — I'm still raising

my own human life, I don't think any of us have any idea how to do that.

So it's pretty, it's kind of a great equalizer.

But then there's the other issue of that, even if they do make the decision,

like my mom, to go back to work they're plagued with this imagery of just that their male partner

is home with the baby possibly carrying it around

by its leg like a dirty dish towel, which my dad only did to me once.

So it's not fair to paint that.

No there was none of that stuff.

My dad never had to do the thing you see sitcoms dads do, which is like, you know, tell their

daughter how to use a tampon applicator.

I did not ask my dad about that.

When I got my period for the first time, it was during a matinee performance of Music Man Jr.

And so it happened.

I felt it happen.

Kind of going like this and I was like, "Oh!"

And then I got off stage.

I carried on with the rest of the day, I went home I got a AIM — AOL Instant Messenger,

and my mom worked in I.T. so she also had an account, and so I found her on the list.

And I was like, "Mother, hello.

I did get my period today."

And she immediately called me because why are we doing this on AIM?

And she talked me through the basics, and it was fine.

My dad never knew.

Some other things my dad didn't — like he didn't have to do the thing where

he had to be like chummy with the PTA ladies, because he went to culinary school and he

can cook a muffin better than literally any of those Mary Berry want to bes.

He also, he never was like, you know, "Catherine, you should do sports."

He once thought it would be a good idea for if I were to make and then sell handbags that

were crafted out of upcycled cushions.

And he also would watch Glee without me.

So he's fine.

But, you know, on the flip side my mom, like if she were to be portrayed in a movie, she

would be the hard working no, nonsense, buzz kill, and that's not true.

On my twenty third birthday party, she got more drunk than anyone there and I had to

put her to bed, because she was getting in the background of my friend's pictures and

putting bunny ears behind their heads . She also, now that she's retired, went back to school.

My dad did as well, but she's taking a class on sex work and literature.

So she's having a blast.

But I think one of the best things about about having a working mom was that there was just

growing up, I never thought my gender was a barrier for anything.

It wasn't weird to me that women would be involved in whatever they wanted to be in.

For instance, I was the only girl on my soccer team, and I would liken that experience to

Air Bud in the movie Air Bud.

I know he was on the basketball team and probably for the first few minutes it was like a little

weird, but then you realize that you got all of the attention when you were the only one.

A more recent experience was, I was I was the only woman in my comedy writing class

and the male comedy community is pretty and tourism is so welcoming and happy to have

a woman who's funnier than them, but actually was really fine, because it was so tense about

the fact we like everyone knew like one woman bunch of guys and it was they were like embarrassed

for the industry that this is an advanced class and there was only one woman in it.

So they had to agree with everything I said I could be like, "I'm the funniest person here"

and they would have to go, "Ummm" or else they would be sexist.

Yeah but I mean, I think one of the biggest things that I just I'm happy.

I mean I really do wish I could have acted out a famous gay masturbation scene up here

in front of you all, but I am happy that I got to be sort of an example

of when 50/50 works out if it wasn't for my working mom I wouldn't be standing here.

I wouldn't be standing here if it wasn't for my stay at home dad.

I wouldn't be standing here if it wasn't for my stay home co-worker Rebecca.

Who is great, I'm sorry she couldn't be here.

But I also wouldn't be standing here just a quick shout out to the women in my group chats.

Who, when I this morning I was like, "I need to come up with a new thing right now."

They all drop what they were doing and got on Google Docs and gave me like thoughtful

and constructive feedback to make whatever I just presented you somewhat coherent.

So women are great and so is my Dad, bye!
