11 causes of migraines that you did not expect

About 76% of people who have had migraine headaches have known the factors that lead to their pain.

Although stress is considered one of the most common causes of migraine,

But there are many other factors, from weather to processed meats, which can also lead to this condition.

Signs of migraine, such as severe headache, nausea, sensitivity to light,

8. Overweight.

Obesity will increase your risk of migraine attacks by up to 81%.

Useful Speaking Phrasal Verbs for Better Communication #Spon - Duration: 9:08.

Today I'm going to talk to you about phrasal verbs that have to do with speaking.

That's coming up.

Many of you out there would like to practice and improve your speaking skills.

Many of you would also like to learn phrasal verbs and learn how to use them.

So in today's lesson, I'm going to combine

those two ideas, and talk to you about phrasal verbs that deal with speaking.

Let's start with the verb TALK.

And the first phrasal verb I have for you and possibly

the most common is TALK TO.

And when you talk to someone you are directly speaking to another person.

I suppose that you could also talk to some thing as well.

Most of the time we're talking about another person.

You talk to someone.

This is very similar to another phrasal verb TALK WITH.

And they're basically interchangeable.

You are speaking directly with another person.

Talk to. Talk with.

The only difference is that talking with...

...it really implies that there is another person you're having a conversation with.

So for example, I could talk to myself in the mirror.

I wouldn't really say talk with because there's no other person involved.

So that's why I think it's a little more common to talk to someone or something.

The next phrasal verb using talk is to TALK (someone) UP.

Notice that someone goes in between the verb and the preposition.

And when you talk someone up, then you are just speaking very enthusiastically about this person.

So if you're in a group of friends, you can talk him up, you can talk her up.

Maybe you could talk me up and tell everyone about Interactive English.

Another good example is like in in a job interview.

You go in there and you want to talk yourself up because you want to show them that you're the best.

To talk someone up.

Another phrasal verb which is not so good is to TALK BACK to someone.

And this means that you are replying to someone in a rude manner and you're not being polite.

So for example, if there's a conversation and somebody

tells you to do something, and you don't want to and you're angry.

You might talk back to this person.

Often, you hear it in situations like children talk back to their parents.

Maybe employees sometimes talk back to their boss.

But when you're talking back to someone, you are not being very nice.

And more often than not, you should be polite in these situations.

But instead you're talking back.

Now let's look at SPEAK.

Because there are several phrasal verbs using this verb.

The first one I want to talk to you about is SPEAK UP.

And this just means to raise your voice and make it a little louder.

So often, if you're having a conversation

somebody might ask you to speak up because they can't really hear you well.

They don't know what you're saying.

You might hear this when talking on the phone.

Because there's other noises and maybe it's difficult to understand somebody.

So they might say, "Hey, could you please speak up a little?"

We can change this meaning completely by adding another preposition

to make it a three-word phrasal verb.

And that is SPEAK UP FOR someone.

And if you are speaking up for someone, then you are

just defending this person.

So you may want to defend this person because

they're being attacked, and you want to speak up for him, or speak up for her, or maybe even speak up for yourself.

Now, we can remove up and make it a two-word phrasal verb once again with another new meaning.

And when you speak for someone you're basically

representing this person's beliefs, this person's opinion.

You are speaking for this other person.

Often is used in some context where there's a group of people, and you might say...

You know, I speak for everyone when I say this opinion or this belief.

So for example, I could say...I think I speak for everyone when I say you should hit that LIKE button.

Another phrasal verb, which is so, so, so common is this one right here.

And that is SHUT UP.

Now, this phrasal verb is important because it does have a couple of different meanings.

The first one, which I think most of us probably think of, is firmly or angrily telling someone to be quiet.

You don't want this person talking anymore.

You want them to close their mouth.

You don't want anymore sounds coming out.

You might tell them "Shut up."

The other way that this phrasal verb is used

is kind of to express disbelief.

So somebody says something that is outrageous.

That you can't believe it, and you might just say "No. Shut up."

Shut up.

Really? Shut up.

So in this case, it's not really used to be rude or mean.

You're basically expressing your disbelief.

You can't believe what you're hearing.

Shut up

Now I want to practice what we've learned.

Ashworth said Uefa's organisation was "bitterly disappointing". "This tournament is scheduled outside a Fifa window, which forces clubs to make such difficult decisions," said Ashworth.

"We understand the dilemmas the clubs face around release of players during this particular time of the season and it's our view, and that of several other countries, that Uefa should take this into account when scheduling tournaments of this magnitude," he added.

Ashworth believes the clash "impacts the value of the tournament" and hopes Uefa will schedule further tournaments "at a sensible time in the season".

"We all want our teams to be facing the best players in the world to really provide the greatest developmental impact," he said.

"That said, I am confident in the players that we have at this tournament and it gives them all a brilliant opportunity.

After topping their qualifying group in Macedonia, England open their campaign against Turkey on Tuesday at the Seinajoki Stadium before facing Ukraine and France in Group B.

The Young Lions beat Portugal 2-1 to be crowned champions last year, while the Under-20s and Under-17s won their World Cups during a hugely successful year for England's youth teams.

The Under-21s also made it to the semi-finals of the European Championships last year. The competition takes place from 16-29 July, with the top two nations from each group progressing to the semi-finals.

In Group A, hosts Finland were drawn with Portugal, Norway and Italy. Who is in England's squad?.

Chelsea defensive pair Trevoh Chalobah and Dujon Sterling and Nottingham Forest striker Ben Brereton were all part of last year's title-winning squad and are likely to be key figures again in Finland.

There are three first-time call-ups - midfielders Tom Bayliss of Coventry City, Kelland Watts of Newcastle United and Max Sanders of Brighton.

And there are returns for players such as Wolves striker Niall Ennis, Ipswich's Ben Morris and West Brom defender Nathan Ferguson, who have previously been capped at younger age groups.

But England will have to fill the void left by the absence of 10 key players.

Foden scored two goals in the Under-17s World Cup final and went on to make 10 appearances for City's first team last season. He is taking part in City's pre-season tour.

Sancho, who was another key figure in qualifying, is also absent because of club commitments. Arsenal trio Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah are unable to compete, and Chelsea's Mason Mount, Watford's Ben Wilmot and Barcelona's Marcus McGuane complete the list.

The Young Lions will also miss Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon - the joint top goalscorer in last year's tournament - because he has made a step up to the Under-21s after making his debut in March. How have last year's winners progressed?.

Sessegnon had a hugely successful season with Fulham, playing an integral part as they secured promotion to the Premier League.

He was named the Championship Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Championship Apprentice of the Year at the EFL Awards.

The 17-year-old scored 15 goals in 46 league appearances and became the first player outside the top flight to be nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.

Brereton signed a new deal to stay at Nottingham Forest until 2021 after making a name for himself in the first team squad and attracting attention from Premier League clubs.

Chelsea youngster Mount signed a new contract before heading out on loan at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem while team-mate Jay Dasilva made 38 appearances in League One during a successful loan spell at Charlton Athletic.

Chalobah, who is expected to captain the squad in Finland, has been a mainstay in Chelsea's successful development squad. And Foden became the youngest Englishman to start a Champions League match in December and signed a new contract with Manchester City.

'Unreasonable to expect clubs to put England first' - analysis. BBC Sport correspondent Simon Stone. England's World Cup performances weren't being taken in isolation when it came to assessing the state of the nation's football improvement.

The positivity generated by outstanding results at youth team level - two World Cup successes and a European Championship win - offered tangible proof that FA technical director Ashworth and his team are getting it right.

Yet Ashworth is furious that this is potentially being undermined by the timing of competitions. England must reach the semi-finals of this month's Under-19 European Championships to qualify for next year's Under-20 World Cup.

They will have to do it without most of their best players who, in a World Cup year, are needed to fill gaps at first-team level for lucrative tours the major clubs are committed to.

It is unreasonable to expect players or clubs to put England first right in the heart of pre-season. But if England pay the price in Finland, there will be an adverse spin-off next year as well.

Hello! I'm Donny. I am not a teenager anymore

but I prefer to have zero responsibilities

and just to chill out.

I have organized my life in a perfect way in this sense.

I am quite a good Dj and spend my life clubbing in various party towns

around the world with my girlfriend

who is also a party monster.

But I want to tell you a story on how I have managed to "grow up"

as my parents had always dreamed

without ruining my happy life.

I was having a DJ set in Ibiza

with my girlfriend Luanne by my side as usual.

I was really happy to be called to that party

as it promised a lot for my promotion.

I was dj-ing my head off

and I have to say it was an enormous success.

After the set I went off to celebrate.

We partied all night long.

I was so tired so asked Luanne to call the taxi.

She gets it and as we hop on

I take my mobile phone from my jeans pocket to see the time.

Wait a minute… What the?..

Here I go swearing like a trooper.

You know that freaking lock button

that makes you phone stay nice and safe in the pocket

without calling your mom at 5 am?

It went off!

And I wished it had called my mom at that point

because you know what it did?

You can't even imagine!

It went to an app of e-commerce

that I had once downloaded

and placed an order for the first thing it found.

Gosh, why couldn't it have been some stupid slinky

or a wonder-mop?

My phone decided that if it was going to lead its own life

it was going to do it like a boss.

So right there in a taxi I find myself a splendid owner of…

tadaaaam! A coach!

No, wait. It was not simply "a coach".

It was THE COACH!

a super-deluxe 53-seater with leather seats

a bar and who knows what else.

Feeling my hair slowly turning grey

I told myself to calm down.

"There's nothing irreversible", - I thought

and started to browse that e-commerce site

for the terms and conditions

and other important words I normally never care about.

I can surely cancel the order,

I can, any order can be cancelled, except…

Except…

Here I turn my eyes towards my order status

and feel that the world starts spinning around.

Except the PAID ones.

How can it be? It's impossible!

It has been paid by a credit card.

70 K bucks!

It must be some mistake.

And suddenly I remembered

that I had attached my credit card data to my phone

as it was more comfortable to buy boosts

for online games this way.

Luanne got scared as she saw me fainting.

These were all my belongings

and my phone spent them all for a stupid coach.

I won't describe all my reactions

but you can imagine them.

We rushed to the hotel

and I started an endless round of correspondence and negotiations with my bank

the e-commerce site and the seller

who luckily was based in my hometown (guess my phone is still a patriot).

I started in Ibiza

and I finished them home

as I needed to make some personal meetings with all those nice people.

Everything that we managed to work out

was that my cancellation fee would cost me half of that coach.

Not an option, I thought.

Angry I said decisively, "I take the coach".

So be it.

Okay, I was brave enough to take the thing, but now what?

I can't even drive that monster!

When Luanne, my genius, had an idea.

"Now that you have a deluxe coach

why don't you make it a party bus?

You're a good DJ!"

Nice idea, but I have 50 bucks left on my bank account,

how can I restructure it?

Surely people won't dance in the seats!

"Then we will make a crowdfunding campaign!

After all you have lots of friends all around the world,

they will help".

I made a post with the entire situation

and it went viral.

Even people I didn't know helped.

Thanks to everybody

I collected money in no time and ordered the restructuring.

To be honest I never noticed

that I was becoming a real businessman

supervising the works

and making a business strategy.

But when I was opening my "Ibiza on Wheels" club

I felt a different man.

What can I tell you?

It has become an international success

becoming the landmark of our city.

And I am still leading my usual life

but djing in my own club.

Sometimes I am still going out somewhere to make a set

and leaving Luanne to take care of my party-bus.

My bank account is on fire

and I am really happy about my life.

You know what I think?

We are all scared of responsibilities

but maybe sometimes they are not as horrible as one would imagine.

I was dragged into this situation by my phone

and I had to have courage to come out of it

in the best way possible.

Hope I would be able to tell it to you in person

one day when you visit me in my party bus.

I will also do a little review of my opinions of my Roomba there at the end.

But this thing is pretty gross.

We got to clean this thing out.

You would think we have a bunch of dogs and a couple girls with long hair around here.

Whew!

I was wondering why it wasn't working so great.

Now I know.

So I'm going to take this thing apart, clean it up and get it running smoothly

and I'll tell you what I think about it.

Wow, that was really embarrassing.

I have not cleaned this thing since I got it.

I never really even thought about it, I don't know why.

But, yeah that was really gross.

Alright so on to my review of my Roomba.

I have model number 650.

So it's not one of the newer ones.

It's quite a bit older.

I think there was like, I don't know, 4 or 5 newer models before we even got this think.

I think it works really good.

The newer ones are probably better cause they have like the wifi and the sensors,

not that the wifi really matters.

I guess you can like tell it to start from you phone when you are at work and stuff.

But this does have a scheduler, timer and all that good stuff.

I do not use that because we have dogs cause if there is an accident around the house apparently

if the Roomba runs into an accident it doesn't stop.

So you can only imagine what happens.

Yeah that kind of scared me with the scheduler thing.

So I'm not doing that part.

If you don't have dogs and stuff, why not?

Just have it running while you go to work or whatever.

I do not think, at least this model does as good of a job as I do with an actual vacuum.

This one is quite random.

Goes wherever it wants, there is no, you know strategic up down, up down or anything.

It's just kind of all over the place.

So there is always spots that I'm like, yeah Roomba didn't make it in here.

And then it's super fun to actually watch it sometimes.

It's really funny because it will get stuck in the bathroom or it will get stuck under

the dinning room with all the chairs and stuff.

So it's actually pretty funny.

I want to get like a GoPro or something and just put it on top of it

and just see where it goes.

I think that would be funny, but that's quite an expense just for one little funny thing.

I think it is wonderful as far as like in between actual cleanings.

Like I can run this thing everyday.

Picks up all the dog hair and dust bunnies and any little thing in between all the crumbs

and stuff from, you know the kids eating in the dining room and all of that stuff.

So it is definitely a time saver in between you know, actual cleaning the floors.

Because I don't have time to vacuum the floors everyday.

I don't know anybody who has time to vacuum floors everyday.

So all in all I really do like my Roomba.

It is very helpful in between my cleanings.

But it is quite expensive for a vacuum cleaner that is only good for like in between cleanings.

You know what I mean?

Like my Shark vacuum it like what?

$130 - $150 or something and it works amazing.

So expense wise I think it's quite expensive for what you get out of it.

Now again this is the older model so maybe the newer ones are kind of more strategic

and don't miss spots.

So I am happy that I did get it for the in between cleanings I just kind of wish it was

a little bit more cheap and or worth it's cost.

If that makes sense.

So that is my take on my Roomba.

Should you call the cops if you know your house cleaner is stealing from you?

Great question and we're going to talk about that today.

Hi, there. I'm Angela Brown, and this is Ask a House Cleaner.

This is the show where you get to ask a house cleaning question,

and I get to help you find an answer.

If you are a house cleaner and you have not added your business yet, go there and add

All right.

On to today's question, which is from a homeowner who was anticipating a great relationship

with her house cleaner, and the house cleaner did a pretty good job.

But as she started bringing people, she noticed some things were missing.

She says, "Huh, maybe I'm going crazy.

Certainly my house cleaners would not be stealing from me."

So, she started planting money around the house in order that if the house cleaners

were not stealing, they wouldn't take it, but if they did in fact steal, the money would

disappear.

Well, the money started disappearing as she put out cameras and more money.

She was able to catch her house cleaners red-handed stealing money from her.

Now she wants to know am I supposed to go to the cops?

Or do I deal with this just with the house cleaning company?

What would you do?

It was an interesting question for me, because my experience has been over the years that

people don't steal for kicks.

Most people, if they are going to steal, they steal because times are really tight.

They're in a bind.

They're in debt.

They have families to feed and they need the money.

So, my heart goes out to those people.

It's heartbreaking when people are in that tough of a situation that they have to make

a moral judgment that, "Hey, I'm going to break what I know is true."

Because we all know that stealing is not okay.

It's a bad thing.

When they make that decision, "I'm going to go against my conscience.

I'm going to go against my beliefs.

I'm going to take something that does not belong to me in order to survive."

That is heartbreaking on so many levels.

Now, having said that, I have to take the position of the homeowner for this reason.

You live in a home, and your responsibility is to protect your family and your home.

If you have home security cameras, and you have security systems or whatever, and you're

trying to provide security for your family, and you have a house cleaner that comes in

and steals from you, they're going to steal from someone else.

It is your job to protect your family.

So, I have two things to say right now.

House cleaners, no matter how bad it gets, do not steal from someone else.

If it does not belong to you, do not take it.

In my company, we have a policy that do not take

as much as a leftover piece of Halloween candy.

If it is not yours, it does not belong to you.

If there's a big bowl of leftover Halloween from Trick or Treating, and it's sitting there

on the cupboard and they did not offer it to you, it is not yours.

Do not eat it.

That is stealing.

You have to draw the line somewhere, and that sounds a little radical, but the answer is

if you don't take anything that does not belong to you, it is black and white.

There are no gray areas.

Well, I just kind of took this because it looked like it was old and they were getting

ready to throw it out.

You can justify anything.

And, oh, believe me.

I have seen so many justifications in this business that never should be.

If it is not yours, do not take it.

All right, now the flip side for the homeowner, I have to say this.

If someone steals from you, and you have proof and it's on camera, and you know they are

taking things like money and other things from you, you must press charges.

Here's the reason why.

What happens when you let that go is your enabling that person to continue.

Yes, you might fire that house cleaner, but they're going to get another account and they're

going to go into someone else's house and they're going to steal from someone else.

Now, that doesn't fix their problem.

Their problem is either they need to get a better job, or they need to work more hours,

or they need to get better pay.

Those are their options.

Stealing is not an option.

That's not how we run our society is on theft.

If you go out into the real world and you steal over a certain amount, that's considered larceny.

I think it's $1,000 in America.

Over $1,000, you go to jail.

That is a felony, okay?

That's bad, and if we enable little stealing, little stealing leads to bigger stealing.

If we have somebody who's trying to put food on the table because times are tight, we don't

want to enable behavior that leads them to a bigger steal, that then takes them off the

market so that they can't work and provide for their families.

So, you're actually doing them a disservice when you let it slide.

Now, as a housecleaning business owner, this happens a lot.

People will come to me and they're just mortified to find out that staff members of theirs have

stolen something.

They say, "What on earth do I do?

This is so incredibly embarrassing.

How am I supposed to make this right?"

All right, this is a very sticky situation, because you know that somebody in your company

stole something even if the customer doesn't know.

If you know, and you're the employer, that your employees are stealing, you need to recoup

those items and you need to go back to the homeowner and you need to sit down and have

a heart-to-heart chat and say, "Oh, my goodness.

I am so sorry.

I just found out we've been stealing from you.

My company does not allow that under any circumstances,

and I am mortified and embarrassed to find

out this has been happening.

We've had to let this person go, and we've pressed charges, and I want to give you the

goods back that were taken from your house.

I'm so sorry.

I understand if you need to let us go, but I just wanted to let you know, heads up, so

that there are no surprises, and do you don't find out later on, and then know that I found

out, and I knew, and I wasn't telling you, because that's not forthright."

If you come clean, and you are upright and forthright with your customers.

It's an awful conversation to have.

I've had to have it a couple of times over the years, and it's just, oh my goodness,

so embarrassing.

But, when you own your problems and you take responsibility as the business owner.

Because even if you didn't steal it, if you're the business owner, that is now your problem.

So, your job and your responsibility is to go back to the person who had faith in you,

who hired you in the first place, and gave you money, which is your income.

And, yeah, you put that in jeopardy when you go back and you tell them the truth, like

I said, even if they don't know that they've been stolen from.

But when you come clean, what happens is this.

It has a ricocheting effect.

It's an effect that comes back to you.

It goes out into the market and then comes back.

It's like throwing the pebble in the pond, and those little vibrations go all the way

out through the pond, but it affects everything around you.

What happens is, people talk.

So, someone will say, "Well, my house cleaner stole from me."

And they'll say, "You should hire my house cleaner.

Someone in their company stole from me, too, but they came to my house.

They brought the goods back.

They made it right, and they let the person go.

They have integrity and they would not ever do this."

So, you have a better chance with a company who's going to come clean, and they're going

to admit when they break things.

They're going to admit when things are stolen.

They're going to admit when they screwed up.

People would rather hire a company that is not perfect, that makes mistakes, but owns

those mistakes, than people that try to just scoop it up, or they just fire the client

so they don't get a bad rating in review.

I will take the bad rating in review any day if we can clear up something we screwed up on.

Because if we screwed up on it and we take ownership, what happens is those people tell

their friends, "No, no, that's out of character for them.

They own their mistakes."

We're all human.

We are all going to make mistakes.

Our employees are going to make mistakes.

Our staff members are going to make mistakes.

But if you catch a staff member or an employee of a cleaning company and they are stealing

stuff red-handed, you do not have any other options except to tell the company, and say,

"Hey, we want to keep your company on.

We like you as house cleaners.

This particular house cleaner is not allowed to come back to our house because she stole

stuff from us, and we will be pressing charges against this particular house cleaner."

You need to let them know from day one, here are our standards, and if we don't live up

those standards, I personally am responsible.

Alrighty, that's my two cents for today, and until we meet again,

leave the world a cleaner place than when you found it.

LEGO Exo-Force Mobile Defense Tank from 2006! set 7706 - Duration: 10:16.

hello this is a look at a year one XO for set so it's from 2006 the mobile

defense tank I got this used of course but it's in very good condition and

appears to have all the correct parts once I put it together this is an

interesting set because it is something that definitely would not be released

today just putting it together was an interesting experience because it's

fairly large for the number of pieces that are included here but it doesn't

have the greatest of durability I'm gonna qualify that statement because it

it is perfectly playable it doesn't fall apart but it feels very flimsy they

really kind of stretch it out quite a bit and it just yeah it just has that

that's that feeling of not being very solid this is able to transform to get

down to a lower angle like that which is cool I like the angles of the treads at

the front and the rear and this is designed with these simulated misael

pods on the sides these do not actually fire off you can't pull this out but

it's just gonna be just the tip there it's not really gonna do anything for

you these are able to be angled around I think they look a little bit better when

you bring them up like that I think that's just a better look and there is a

little bit of an issue with having it down low like this it well first of all

these things keep falling out I'll show you what that's all about in just a

minute but doesn't look like you're able to fire very well from the front of this

you've got these simulated cannons up front and I think just overall has the

best look the most aggressive look when it's when it's up but it's you know it's

nice to be able to adjust things like this and you can bring this even farther

up so you kind of bring it up to its tippy-toes to make it look really tall

and almost like a like a mech I mean that's a completely different look now

if you ask me I mean bring these up versus the way it was before but look at

this this is at a slightly different angle now that's what I was saying about

how it kind of feels a little bit flimsy it doesn't want to stay in a specific

shape and even just as you pick it up it immediately flexes just a

different way of doing things you know nowadays most builds from Lego are just

so sturdy they really put a lot of thought into to making things as strong

as reasonably possible but back in these days you know a decade a little more

than a decade ago they were a little bit more free about that and it allowed

things to be larger which makes or made things feel like they had a better value

you know it feels like you have a lot of stuff here this is this is Stahl look at

this in comparison to the height of a minifigure it's pretty massive

but another minifigure on top of that still what are we halfway up the height

of it now so yeah it feels like you get a lot of stuff here for the number of

pieces that are included and it's not gonna fall apart on you it just doesn't

feel as confidence inspiring I guess and these things on the sides are able to to

rotate around in ways that you don't really want them to do they used a ton

of stickers throughout this entire series and this is one of the more

sticker full ones that I've seen so far that I've personally had in hand with

fairly large stickers covering some fairly large areas many surfaces curved

services and they did use clear backed stickers for this as well those are the

most difficult to apply the cockpit here looks like I accidentally did push down

just one piece that doesn't have the greatest durability but you know it

holds a single figure in there there might be a way to kind of make to fit in

there but it's really designed for just one you know you just stand or sit in

there and then up above on top you have this additional smoothes out of the way

a little bit additional turret that can turn around a

fair amount and angle up and down and this has several things going on with it

so the six-shooter barrel here kind of Gatling gun looking

barrel setup is there six barrels out of it is it's just for show you know that's

just for your imagination this over here on the side it's supposed to be like a

targeting laser and that has a light brick that whole thing right there is a

light brick and does still have a battery that were

that's that's a nice look I like those things although it is a lot of stuff

heavier fold 2 by 4 brick size of stuff that doesn't really look like Lego you

know just the the appearance of it just to have that little bit of light no no

doesn't doesn't do all that much I think nowadays it would be great if they could

do one of these in like a 2x2 space or possibly even smaller than that and then

on the other side the thing that kept dropping these these disk pieces out was

a very short-lived disc shooter system that they had and did not hold on to its

disks very well it's actual projectiles the launcher for that the trigger for

that is back here you pull it back and then it just strikes the disk that's

down at the base and when that happens it fires out in that case another one

popped out the top they give you plenty to fill the magazine here but every time

you move it around it keeps this is dropping once from the top so it's too

bad they didn't include some sort of cap like a rubber cap just to put over that

to keep those from continually falling out especially as you move this around

and if you try to make it look like he was driving over rough terrain you just

continually have those popping just drop three of them and one time other than

that yellow little things on this are kind of feeling a bit loose you saw just

on the other side of the the targeting laser came off fairly easy because it's

only attached with just two anti studs on the underside of the of a bracket you

know it's not that the strongest clutch power also just accidentally knocked off

one of these little bits of fire just because those pieces don't have a lot of

a lot of substance where you plug them in the little bar size section of it

stops very quickly so that's easy to to knock out and these little things on the

sides also whatever they were supposed to be I think they were related to to

targeting those can be knocked off fairly easily as well because these

pieces don't have the greatest of clutch power especially going against a very

hard plastic large preformed piece little stickers in here as well like I

said lots of stickers but you know in spite of all that it does

look like you get a lot of stuff here for the amount of money that you paid

for it wasn't the greatest of deals back then even if they still sold this today

it wouldn't be the greatest of deals just in terms of price to part ratio but

they did have some large pieces here these large treads that have good value

and there's plenty of play value here and I think the thing just looks really

cool I really appreciate being able to configure it in different ways and

speaking of configuring it in different ways

check out this that is one nice alternate build this was an official

alternate build they offered up instructions for that at XO - force comm

now defunct but you can still find the instructions and this only uses pieces

from this single set that looks fantastic to me I think I might even

like that better than the main official build which is just great good pieces

they still work with the stickers applied now wherever you put them this

used quite a lot of the pieces from the set doubles up the tracks so they would

be extra wide and still give you plenty of things to shoot with both the the

ones where you use your imagination and also the the disc launcher off on the

side so cool stuff for sure the set came with two figures on the left is the

named character video or Westerners would say Rio it's ry oh and the

character on the right is unnamed he is either in gate guard or a tank driver in

this case you would use him as a driver and put Rio on the on the main turret

cup on top the one that can actually rotate around but these did use the

exact same uniform so the same prints for the torsos no prints on the back

their hand the gate guard or a tank driver and that secondary face that was

completely visible well at least the the grimace is completely visible from the

back unfortunately underneath that hairpiece create hair pieces that they

use they're very expressive expressions these characters throughout the line but

yeah just didn't work entirely well with all of the hair pieces but yeah two good

ones too bad that they didn't have different torsos for him though

that's the mobile defense tank from 2006 it's a set that I would have loved to

have as a kid but it said that definitely could not have been produced

today definitely not with this bill it's just too lanky too flimsy little things

fall off that's really not that big of a deal in reality but just the the main

the main sections of it of the chassis are just not connected with enough

friction not connected with enough stability to make it past the modern-day

reviews that mega sets have to go through really nice transformation

features very very simple but very substantive you know a change from

completely flat which is even lower than that - all the way up which is even

taller than that is very significant and this alternate build that's fantastic

With Maria Butina arrested on a charge of conspiracy, many people are wondering about Paul Erickson, a Republican political operative and lawyer with ties to Butina.

At one time he was also reported to be under FBI investigation in connection to Russian interference in the 2016 election, NPR reported.

But he hasn't been named in an indictment or charged, unlike Butina.

Butina, who lives in the United States, was charged Monday with "work[ing] at the direction of a high-level official in the Russian government," according to a Justice Department press release.

The Department of Justice has alleged that she was acting as an agent of Russia, developing relationships with U.S.

people and seeking an influence in American politics, for the interests of Russia.

Paul Erickson, who started a business with Butina to help fund her graduate studies, has not yet spoken publicly about her arrest.

Here's what you need to know about Erickson.

Paul Erickson & Maria Butina First Met Years Ago in Moscow & Later Formed a Business Together.

Paul Erickson has a significant public connection to Maria Butina, the founder of a Russian gun rights group called The Right to Bear Arms.

Erickson said that met Butina when he and David Keene, a former NRA president, were at a Right to Bear Arms meeting in Moscow a few years ago, McClatchy reported.

Erickson and Butina set up a South Dakota business together in Feburary 2016 called Bridges LLC, created to help finance Butina's graduate studies if she needed any help, McClatchy reported.

But public records don't reveal any financial transactions involving the business.

After Trump was elected, Butina held a costume party in D.C.

attended by Erickson and other Trump campaign aides, Mother Jones reported.

Erickson Emailed Trump's Campaign About Setting Up a Meeting Between Trump & Putin During an NRA Convention in 2016, & He Used to Spend His Summers 'Helping Freedom Fighters'.

In May 2016, Erickson sent an email to President Donald Trump's campaign advisor, Rick Dearborn, asking Dearborn and then-Sen.

Jeff Sessions to help him set up a meeting between Trump and Putin during the annual NRA convention.

He wrote: "Putin is deadly serious about building a good relationship with Mr Trump.

He wants to extend an invitation to Mr Trump to visit him in the Kremlin before the election," the New York Times reported.

In January, McClatchy DC reported that the FBI was investigating whether Butina's former boss, Alexander Torshin, funneled money from a Russian bank to the NRA to help Trump's campaign.

It's illegal to use foreign money to influence federal elections.

The sources for McClatchy's article were all anonymous due to Mueller's ongoing, confidential investigation.

Torshin, a Russian politician, former Russian senator, and deputy governor of the Bank of Russia, has worked closely with NRA leaders in the past.

He reportedly met with Donald Trump Jr.

at the 2016 NRA Convention, NPR reported, and made repeated attempts to meet Trump at the convention, but there was no evidence that his attempts were successful.

Erickson later advised Trump's transition team after Trump was elected.

Erickson's connections to Russia date back to when he was traveling the world.

He told the Rapid City Journal that he used to spend his summers helping freedom fighters.

In 1982, he traveled to Israel while leading college students on a summer tour.

While there, he witnessed the beginning of the 1982 Lebanon War.

In 1983, he acquired provisions for insurgents fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan, including tents, medical kits, camels and mules.

He said he had recently been helping Marshall Plan Charities with redeveloping Afghan villages.

In 1990, he returned to Nicaragua to observe U.S.-backed Contra rebels stop fighting after the Soviet-supported President agreed to honor a popular election's results.

Erickson Has Worked with Numerous Republican Campaigns, Including Pat Buchanan & Mitt Romney.

Erickson has helped with numerous campaigns over the years.

He coordinated a youth campaign for Rep.

Jim Abdnor in 1980 while working on his bachelor's degree.

He was the deputy campaign manager for Richard Viguerie's campaign for Virginia lieutenant governor in 1985.

The campaign was not successful.

He was the national political director and campaign manager for Pat Buchanan's presidential campaign in 1992.

At one point, he got into a fight with Bill Clinton campaign members in a parking lot, Rapid City Journal reported.

He even threw some punches and then slipped on the ice, breaking his nose.

He served as an advisor for both of Mitt Romney's presidential campaigns.

He was a board member for the American Conservative Union, a group that organizes the CPAC conferences.

In addition to campaigns, he helped with the Marshall Plan Charities in 2008, a group focused on redeveloping Afghan villages.  And in 1997, he founded Compass Care, a company focused on developing non-nursing home options for Midwest seniors.

Investors later sued the company for not receiving promised returns.

As an attorney, Erickson served as the lawyer, agent, and media advisor for John Wayne Bobbitt in the mid 1990s, and he produced an anti-communist action film called Red Scorpion in 1989.

Paul Erickson Created a Fritzbusters Democratic Parody That Was Shown at the 1984 RNC.

Paul Erickson has always been outspoken about conservative issues, dating back to the 1980s.

He attended the University of South Dakota for his bachelor's before transferring to Yale, where he graduated in 1984.

He graduated from the University of Virginia with his law degree in 1988.

In 1984, he wrote a comedy critical of the Democrats called "Fritzbusters," which was a parody of Ghostbusters. The comedy focused on the Democratic presidential nominee, Walter Mondale.

He and other College Republicans performed the comedy at the 1984 Republican National Convention, and even as an opening act for some of Ronald Reagan's campaign rallies.

He's Been Taken to Court Multiple Times By Investors Over His Businesses & Promises That Weren't Kept.

Erickson, who is in his mid-50s, is a resident of Sioux Falls.

He's been taken to court on multiple occasions by people who invested in his businesses and has numerous unpaid debts, Rapid City Journal reported.

The Journal found $421,212 worth of court judgments against Erickson in South Dakota — totaling seven since 2003.

Some judgments were still pending, and some of the cases involved Erickson's writing badge checks to creditors.

Dennis and Daniel Bieldfeldt filed a lawsuit against Erickson in 2015.

They said he persuaded them to invest $30,000 in his Dignity Medical Inc.

company in 2009.

His letter included promising a personal guarantee for what was invested, and predicted returns of 25 to 100 percent.

Bieldfelt never saw those returns, Rapid City Journal reported, and they sued for deceit, fraud, and breach of contract.

One of Erickson's attorneys withdrew from the case after Erickson wrote him a bad check.

They were awarded a $30,000 settlement, but only received $10,000, with checks bouncing after that.

Erickson is single and never married.

He has offices and homes in New York, Los Angeles, and Sioux Falls.

LEGO Exo-Force Mobile Defense Tank from 2006! set 7706 - Duration: 10:16.

hello this is a look at a year one XO for set so it's from 2006 the mobile

defense tank I got this used of course but it's in very good condition and

appears to have all the correct parts once I put it together this is an

interesting set because it is something that definitely would not be released

today just putting it together was an interesting experience because it's

fairly large for the number of pieces that are included here but it doesn't

have the greatest of durability I'm gonna qualify that statement because it

it is perfectly playable it doesn't fall apart but it feels very flimsy they

really kind of stretch it out quite a bit and it just yeah it just has that

that's that feeling of not being very solid this is able to transform to get

down to a lower angle like that which is cool I like the angles of the treads at

the front and the rear and this is designed with these simulated misael

pods on the sides these do not actually fire off you can't pull this out but

it's just gonna be just the tip there it's not really gonna do anything for

you these are able to be angled around I think they look a little bit better when

you bring them up like that I think that's just a better look and there is a

little bit of an issue with having it down low like this it well first of all

these things keep falling out I'll show you what that's all about in just a

minute but doesn't look like you're able to fire very well from the front of this

you've got these simulated cannons up front and I think just overall has the

best look the most aggressive look when it's when it's up but it's you know it's

nice to be able to adjust things like this and you can bring this even farther

up so you kind of bring it up to its tippy-toes to make it look really tall

and almost like a like a mech I mean that's a completely different look now

if you ask me I mean bring these up versus the way it was before but look at

this this is at a slightly different angle now that's what I was saying about

how it kind of feels a little bit flimsy it doesn't want to stay in a specific

shape and even just as you pick it up it immediately flexes just a

different way of doing things you know nowadays most builds from Lego are just

so sturdy they really put a lot of thought into to making things as strong

as reasonably possible but back in these days you know a decade a little more

than a decade ago they were a little bit more free about that and it allowed

things to be larger which makes or made things feel like they had a better value

you know it feels like you have a lot of stuff here this is this is Stahl look at

this in comparison to the height of a minifigure it's pretty massive

but another minifigure on top of that still what are we halfway up the height

of it now so yeah it feels like you get a lot of stuff here for the number of

pieces that are included and it's not gonna fall apart on you it just doesn't

feel as confidence inspiring I guess and these things on the sides are able to to

rotate around in ways that you don't really want them to do they used a ton

of stickers throughout this entire series and this is one of the more

sticker full ones that I've seen so far that I've personally had in hand with

fairly large stickers covering some fairly large areas many surfaces curved

services and they did use clear backed stickers for this as well those are the

Today I'm going to talk to you about phrasal verbs that have to do with speaking.

That's coming up.

Many of you out there would like to practice and improve your speaking skills.

Many of you would also like to learn phrasal verbs and learn how to use them.

So in today's lesson, I'm going to combine

those two ideas, and talk to you about phrasal verbs that deal with speaking.

Let's start with the verb TALK.

And the first phrasal verb I have for you and possibly

the most common is TALK TO.

And when you talk to someone you are directly speaking to another person.

I suppose that you could also talk to some thing as well.

Most of the time we're talking about another person.

You talk to someone.

This is very similar to another phrasal verb TALK WITH.

And they're basically interchangeable.

You are speaking directly with another person.

Talk to. Talk with.

The only difference is that talking with...

...it really implies that there is another person you're having a conversation with.

So for example, I could talk to myself in the mirror.

I wouldn't really say talk with because there's no other person involved.

So that's why I think it's a little more common to talk to someone or something.

The next phrasal verb using talk is to TALK (someone) UP.

Notice that someone goes in between the verb and the preposition.

And when you talk someone up, then you are just speaking very enthusiastically about this person.

So if you're in a group of friends, you can talk him up, you can talk her up.

Maybe you could talk me up and tell everyone about Interactive English.

Another good example is like in in a job interview.

You go in there and you want to talk yourself up because you want to show them that you're the best.

To talk someone up.

Another phrasal verb which is not so good is to TALK BACK to someone.

And this means that you are replying to someone in a rude manner and you're not being polite.

So for example, if there's a conversation and somebody

tells you to do something, and you don't want to and you're angry.

You might talk back to this person.

Often, you hear it in situations like children talk back to their parents.

Maybe employees sometimes talk back to their boss.

But when you're talking back to someone, you are not being very nice.

And more often than not, you should be polite in these situations.

But instead you're talking back.

Now let's look at SPEAK.

Because there are several phrasal verbs using this verb.

The first one I want to talk to you about is SPEAK UP.

And this just means to raise your voice and make it a little louder.

So often, if you're having a conversation

somebody might ask you to speak up because they can't really hear you well.

They don't know what you're saying.

You might hear this when talking on the phone.

Because there's other noises and maybe it's difficult to understand somebody.

So they might say, "Hey, could you please speak up a little?"

We can change this meaning completely by adding another preposition

to make it a three-word phrasal verb.

And that is SPEAK UP FOR someone.

And if you are speaking up for someone, then you are

just defending this person.

So you may want to defend this person because

they're being attacked, and you want to speak up for him, or speak up for her, or maybe even speak up for yourself.

Now, we can remove up and make it a two-word phrasal verb once again with another new meaning.

And when you speak for someone you're basically

representing this person's beliefs, this person's opinion.

You are speaking for this other person.

Often is used in some context where there's a group of people, and you might say...

You know, I speak for everyone when I say this opinion or this belief.

So for example, I could say...I think I speak for everyone when I say you should hit that LIKE button.

Another phrasal verb, which is so, so, so common is this one right here.

And that is SHUT UP.

Now, this phrasal verb is important because it does have a couple of different meanings.

The first one, which I think most of us probably think of, is firmly or angrily telling someone to be quiet.

You don't want this person talking anymore.

You want them to close their mouth.

You don't want anymore sounds coming out.

You might tell them "Shut up."

The other way that this phrasal verb is used

is kind of to express disbelief.

So somebody says something that is outrageous.

That you can't believe it, and you might just say "No. Shut up."

Shut up.

Really? Shut up.

So in this case, it's not really used to be rude or mean.

You're basically expressing your disbelief.

You can't believe what you're hearing.

Shut up

Now I want to practice what we've learned.
