Today we will talk about the Drop Dread RDA. It's collaboration of two reviewers and two RDAs and it's manufactured with the help of HellVape

Hello everyone! Alex VapersMD is here and I'm glad to welcome you on my channel

So, friends. You all know Drop RDA very well, unfortunately I didn't make a review on it. And you also know well Dead Rabbit RDA, which I didn't received for review

It's a weird feeling inside....When you didn't receive a device for review....*they didn't send the RDA for review*...You feeling useless...And the world turns black and white

Long story short. You know Drop RDA - it's a collaboration between reviewer The Vapor Chronicles and Digiflavor

Dead Rabbit was designed by Heathen and it was made in collaboration with HellVape

And both of these RDAs was very popular, at least on the Western market

And not only there, I guess

Overall, it turned out that these two guys are friends and know each other for a long time, so they decided to make a collaboration - merge two RDAs and they made Drop Dead RDA

Which we will talk about today. And we'll begin with close up, so let's dive down

So, the time has come to unbox this packaging, on it's written HellVape, Drop Dead and logos of the designers of this RDA - The Vapor Chronicles and Heathen

On this side we have description of features, contents and information about manufacturer, also it's written that it's Made in China

Features, features, features

Scratch code for authenticity check, social media information, links to designers channels

Under the cover we are met by the User Manual in different languages, Russian included

On Russian it's written: "We would've personally thank you for purchasing Drop Dead". But for some reason they couldn't, well maybe it's because guys live in China and designers live in US

"Visit YouTube channels Heathen and The Chronicles" - they didn't gave us the full name of the channel of one of creators, but let's move on

"For detailed instructions on everything, that Dead Rabbit has to offer. I hope, you will find as much pleasure using this RDA, as we created it"

I hope Lex will be able to translate everything that I said in Russian *I tried and I succeeded - Lex*

Next goes the description of kit contents and User Manual, but for some reason it's in German. Twice. On top it's in German and in Russian section it's in German as well

The product is not intended for use by pregnant women and children under 18 years of age. Keep away from fire. Avoid exposure.

Exposure of what?

Okay, friends. I love Chinese User manuals in Russian, it's always lot of fun to read, but let's move on, it's not a review on User manual - it's a review of Drop Dead RDA

Let's see what else we have in this packaging. Also guys put this sticker in the kit, and it seems that someone will get a sticker with bunny without part of an ear - it was cut unevenly

Under the sticker we are met by the RDA and a box with spares

And inside of that box there is separate bag with 3 kinds of screwdrivers

And in another bag we have extra screws for posts, BF pin, extra 810 drip tip, two 510 drip tips adapters and set of spare o-rings

Uhm, seriously? Why they put two identical adapters in the kit?

So, we've done with the kit contents, now it's time for a specs. This RDA is made out of stainless steel and available in different colors, there's like 8 or 9 colors. But knowing HellVape and Dead Rabbit RDA - there's gonna be a lot of color options

This RDA featuring a slot for 810 drip tips and 510 drip tips with adapter, adjustable top airflow and four post deck, which is similar to Drop RDA

Also this RDA supports BF mode and its diameter is 24mm

Since we're done with specs, let's talk about RDA itself. Appearance goes first, and as always, we start from the top, where we have this nice drip tip

This is a 810 non-o-ring drip tip and it's composite - guys added little metal ring for making of that engraving with the name of manufacturer

Actually, this is very nice drip tip and it's great, that in case if you didn't like this drip tip we have another one in the kit

RDA with an extra transparent drip tip look like so

Also you can use your favorite 810 drip tips. But anyway, select a proper diameter of drip tip, because if you put on the drip tip which is too wide, there will be slight overhang because of that bevel

Next goes the top cap, which is also the airflow adjustment. Top cap has a knurling, same knurling was on Dead Rabbit RDA and it's very convenient for rotating the top cap

Obviously, the top cap is removable and it's held by a single o-ring

Pay attention - we have airflow adjustment slots on both sides and also these slots has angled cut, which will be slightly directing the air to go down

Inside this top cap has spherical machining and it's good, let's move on

The barrel. On the barrel we have a logo. A logo is like a merge or maybe just combination of two logos - that Dead Rabbit and behind of it DD - Drop Dead

On the sides we have 28 airflow holes - 14 on one side and 14 on the other. It's a small holes, which is angled inside

So it happens like so - the air not just get inside straight, instead is has slight angle down, so it might be said, that it's directed to the coils

Also top cap is helping in this situation. Pay attention, that air will be directed by the top cap adjustment part as well

The airflow adjustment itself works like so - when you turn the top cap you gradually closing the holes. It happens on both sides simultaneously. Single coil airflow option is not intended

Take a look at these two additional cutouts inside of the barrel - it's made also for adjusting the direction of airflow

But we will talk about this feature later. And now let's take a look at the deck of this RDA

And I think owners of Drop RDA will not be surprised at all, because they'll see absolutely the same deck

So yeah, what was the idea of this RDA? Guys took top part from Dead Rabbit RDA and bottom part from Drop RDA

Yeah, this is four post deck. Two positive posts, two negatives. And you can tighten the leads of your coils by the flat head screws or by extra hex screws from the kit

And due to this post design it's easy to cut those leads

Also we have these two little keys on the deck, which will hold the top cap during unscrewing the RDA from the mod in the first place

And also it's working as additional airflow adjustment - it happens like so

When you putted on the barrel and, let's say, you have a small coils and you don't need wide open airflow.

You closed the airflow halfway and after that you are able to adjust the position of the barrel, so the airflow was right in front of your coils. So you are able to adjust airflow position and it's good

I think you already noticed, that the juice well is pretty deep. Yes, here we have really deep juice well and, due to the top airflow, juice well increases up to the height of installed coils

So the capacity of this RDA is huge

But also this RDA supports BF mode. And BF pin looks like so - it's slightly protruding out of the deck and it's directed upward

In this situation, when you run out of liquid in your squonk mod, you squeeze the bottle and several drops might just fly into your mouth or in your eyes or on your pants or whatever else

I don't really like that BF pin system. It's better the holes was on the sides of that BF pin

And last thing we will observe is the bottom of this RDA. As you can see, here I have a BF pin, here I have regular pin and both of these pins is nicely protruded

Also here we have information, that it's Drop Dead, information about manufacturer and designers, certificates and serial number

So folks, two decks. Two different decks. Because on the right I have Drop RDA, on the left I have Drop Dead RDA

And as you can see, posts looks almost the same. For example, posts in Drop Dead has become wider. Here, in the Drop, posts is narrower and it take less space

Well, at least at the top. At the bottom it's absolutely the same

And the coil installation system is same as well - you simply put the coil leads into the posts, tighten it by the screws and cut excess leads from the side

It's convenient, without any doubt

And in some cases you may not even cut the leads - it will not be interfering

So, folks, here I have two absolutely identical builds from Stas Vapor Place. These builds has the same 0.12Ω resistance and I want to make a little test-comparison of flavor of Drop RDA and Drop Dead RDA

Unfortunately Dead Rabbit wasn't sent to me for review, so I will not be able to compare with it, but if I remember correctly it had a directed top airflow as well

So we will compare these two RDAs in terms of flavor, because flavor is one of the most important factors in purchasing an RDA

So, friends, everything is ready. I can say right away - both RDAs can hold an ocean of liquid. It's really great

Anyway, today we have a review of Drop Dead RDA and little comparison with Drop RDA

Let's go up top

Basically, we have two RDAs ready for comparison. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make a comparison between Dead Rabbit RDA and Drop RDA and Dead Drop

A lot of D letters

Anyway, I'll compare Drop RDA and D.....

Anyway, I'll compare Drop RDA and Drop Dead RDA

And I'll begin with Drop RDA with airflow wide open

Okay. Now let's see what Drop Dead RDA is capable of

I have identical builds in these two RDAs, resistance is 0.12Ω and I vape it at 90W

And the thing I can say right now - Drop RDA has much more air

So I'll block top part of the airflow and will leave only 6 lower holes

And now they're about the same in terms of the draw

And I can say right away, that according to my feelings I like Drop Dead RDA airflow more. It's smoother and it's quieter

Because if we compare it with Drop RDA - Drop airflow is louder

But like always, there is some cons. Let's talk about it. I have only one major con

You all know me, I'm not a fan of top airflow. I think it works incorrectly

And besides, guys rise the airflow holes too high in this RDA

I think, that if airflow holes was lower for at least for a 1mm, there would be way more flavor, but now the flavor is diminished by the fact, that airflow holes is above the coils

But I managed to get the flavor of this RDA when I've raised the coils higher, than maybe it was intended

But, again, there is very important thing. If you will rise the coils too high - it'll just be touching the top cap and you will get short circuit as a result

So here you need to find a balance, where coils don't touching the top cap, but was high enough, maybe even higher than intended

And you should move the coils to each other so there'll be like 2.5mm space between it

Overall, what can I say about the flavor on Drop Dead RDA?

It's here, but it's not like on RDAs with side airflow and pseudo-bottom airflow

And on Drop RDA I achieved the flavor that I like. In the Drop Dead RDA - I had to play around and try some tricks to get at least approximately that flavor

Overall, I'm done with some major cons and I have no other major complaints about this RDA

So let's talk about pros

First pro to this RDA I'll give for great kit contents. It has everything you need.

Second pro I'll give for top notch quality of manufacturing. Guys from HellVape did a great job

Perfect o-rings, everything spins very nice and comfy

A pro for coil installation. You simply drop the coils inside,

That's from there, the name actually appeared - Drop RDA

And tighten the coil leads by screws. And sometimes even cutting the leads is unnecessary

Cloud production

It has decent cloud production. This RDA chucks

Also, I'll give this RDA a pro for capacity. As I said in close ups - this RDA can hold an ocean of liquid

Comfortable adjustment of airflow and its position. TVC and Heathen tried hard and they've made something interesting. And again - adjustment is so smooth and comfy, great o-rings, I don't mind repeat it once more

I like the airflow adjustment in here

If it only was a little lower, damn

And last pro I'll give for BF option. Though if you will squeeze the bottle too hard, liquid may splash into your mouth, eyes, on your pants or whatever else

It could've been counted as nitpick and a for someone it's a con

Okayushki, folks

Let's talk about price. And the price is standard - this RDA cost 30$ on the internet

So some Chinese online-stores sells it for around 30$. I'll put few links in the description below this video

And I will say this - this price is great for this RDA. Great price for a great RDA, on which you are able to achieve nice flavor, which has very convenient coil installation, which has a huge liquid capacity, which has high quality and has extensive kit contents

And summing up I will say this - this RDA is great

But there is RDAs with better flavor

And at this point I'll be finalizing today's video

So today tadaa! I bought two of these bulgogi from costco

All you have to do is warm them up

this one weighs 2016g this one weighs 2020g

I've never had a chance to eat these bulkokee from costco until now

meat brings happiness don't it

alrighty its time to warm them up

these are the bulgalbi from costco

It's loaded with meat onion and gr. onion It's pretty heavy

I will now fry them on an oiled pan

all I gotta do is cook till its heated through

I had to split these into two batches

tadaa its all done

I topped it with some cooked/runny egg

It's super heavy itadakimasu

I have roughly three cups of rice here

The meat looks so yummy

It has thoroughly soaked up the sweet marinade It tastes so wonderful

With it being so full of flavor it really Makes you ravenous for rice

It also goes nicely with egg

Since all you have to do is heat it up its so EZ to make

the rice is so hot and steamy My fingers that are holding a bowl are so hot

I used Korean 'dashita' to make this miso soup This is one kilogram of oniony miso soup

its so flavorful and yummy

The meat is so tender and yummy

The marinade is especially delish

OMG its been sweltering the last few days I'm getting all sweaty from eating all of this

I've ran out of rice and now I will go and grab another helping

This is about 3 cups

I will now add some gochujang

The added sweet and spiciness is so yummy

Last mouthful itadakimasu

gochisosamadeshita The bulgogi from Costco with so EZ and yummy

It was very flavorful and made me really hungry for rice

Since it was already marinated it was super EZ to make

It would be a perfect addition for all sorts of different meals

Actually, this is very nice drip tip and it's great, that in case if you didn't like this drip tip we have another one in the kit

RDA with an extra transparent drip tip look like so

Also you can use your favorite 810 drip tips. But anyway, select a proper diameter of drip tip, because if you put on the drip tip which is too wide, there will be slight overhang because of that bevel

Next goes the top cap, which is also the airflow adjustment. Top cap has a knurling, same knurling was on Dead Rabbit RDA and it's very convenient for rotating the top cap

Obviously, the top cap is removable and it's held by a single o-ring

Pay attention - we have airflow adjustment slots on both sides and also these slots has angled cut, which will be slightly directing the air to go down

Inside this top cap has spherical machining and it's good, let's move on

The barrel. On the barrel we have a logo. A logo is like a merge or maybe just combination of two logos - that Dead Rabbit and behind of it DD - Drop Dead

On the sides we have 28 airflow holes - 14 on one side and 14 on the other. It's a small holes, which is angled inside

So it happens like so - the air not just get inside straight, instead is has slight angle down, so it might be said, that it's directed to the coils

Also top cap is helping in this situation. Pay attention, that air will be directed by the top cap adjustment part as well

The airflow adjustment itself works like so - when you turn the top cap you gradually closing the holes. It happens on both sides simultaneously. Single coil airflow option is not intended

Take a look at these two additional cutouts inside of the barrel - it's made also for adjusting the direction of airflow

But we will talk about this feature later. And now let's take a look at the deck of this RDA

And I think owners of Drop RDA will not be surprised at all, because they'll see absolutely the same deck

So yeah, what was the idea of this RDA? Guys took top part from Dead Rabbit RDA and bottom part from Drop RDA

Yeah, this is four post deck. Two positive posts, two negatives. And you can tighten the leads of your coils by the flat head screws or by extra hex screws from the kit

And due to this post design it's easy to cut those leads

Also we have these two little keys on the deck, which will hold the top cap during unscrewing the RDA from the mod in the first place

And also it's working as additional airflow adjustment - it happens like so

When you putted on the barrel and, let's say, you have a small coils and you don't need wide open airflow.

You closed the airflow halfway and after that you are able to adjust the position of the barrel, so the airflow was right in front of your coils. So you are able to adjust airflow position and it's good

I think you already noticed, that the juice well is pretty deep. Yes, here we have really deep juice well and, due to the top airflow, juice well increases up to the height of installed coils

So the capacity of this RDA is huge

But also this RDA supports BF mode. And BF pin looks like so - it's slightly protruding out of the deck and it's directed upward

In this situation, when you run out of liquid in your squonk mod, you squeeze the bottle and several drops might just fly into your mouth or in your eyes or on your pants or whatever else

I don't really like that BF pin system. It's better the holes was on the sides of that BF pin

And last thing we will observe is the bottom of this RDA. As you can see, here I have a BF pin, here I have regular pin and both of these pins is nicely protruded

Also here we have information, that it's Drop Dead, information about manufacturer and designers, certificates and serial number

So folks, two decks. Two different decks. Because on the right I have Drop RDA, on the left I have Drop Dead RDA

And as you can see, posts looks almost the same. For example, posts in Drop Dead has become wider. Here, in the Drop, posts is narrower and it take less space

Well, at least at the top. At the bottom it's absolutely the same

And the coil installation system is same as well - you simply put the coil leads into the posts, tighten it by the screws and cut excess leads from the side

It's convenient, without any doubt

And in some cases you may not even cut the leads - it will not be interfering

So, folks, here I have two absolutely identical builds from Stas Vapor Place. These builds has the same 0.12Ω resistance and I want to make a little test-comparison of flavor of Drop RDA and Drop Dead RDA

Unfortunately Dead Rabbit wasn't sent to me for review, so I will not be able to compare with it, but if I remember correctly it had a directed top airflow as well

So we will compare these two RDAs in terms of flavor, because flavor is one of the most important factors in purchasing an RDA

So, friends, everything is ready. I can say right away - both RDAs can hold an ocean of liquid. It's really great

Anyway, today we have a review of Drop Dead RDA and little comparison with Drop RDA

Basically, we have two RDAs ready for comparison. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make a comparison between Dead Rabbit RDA and Drop RDA and Dead Drop

A lot of D letters

Anyway, I'll compare Drop RDA and D.....

Anyway, I'll compare Drop RDA and Drop Dead RDA

And I'll begin with Drop RDA with airflow wide open

Okay. Now let's see what Drop Dead RDA is capable of

I have identical builds in these two RDAs, resistance is 0.12Ω and I vape it at 90W

And the thing I can say right now - Drop RDA has much more air

So I'll block top part of the airflow and will leave only 6 lower holes

And now they're about the same in terms of the draw

And I can say right away, that according to my feelings I like Drop Dead RDA airflow more. It's smoother and it's quieter

Because if we compare it with Drop RDA - Drop airflow is louder

But like always, there is some cons. Let's talk about it. I have only one major con

You all know me, I'm not a fan of top airflow. I think it works incorrectly

And besides, guys rise the airflow holes too high in this RDA

I think, that if airflow holes was lower for at least for a 1mm, there would be way more flavor, but now the flavor is diminished by the fact, that airflow holes is above the coils

But I managed to get the flavor of this RDA when I've raised the coils higher, than maybe it was intended

But, again, there is very important thing. If you will rise the coils too high - it'll just be touching the top cap and you will get short circuit as a result

So here you need to find a balance, where coils don't touching the top cap, but was high enough, maybe even higher than intended

And you should move the coils to each other so there'll be like 2.5mm space between it

Overall, what can I say about the flavor on Drop Dead RDA?

It's here, but it's not like on RDAs with side airflow and pseudo-bottom airflow

And on Drop RDA I achieved the flavor that I like. In the Drop Dead RDA - I had to play around and try some tricks to get at least approximately that flavor

Overall, I'm done with some major cons and I have no other major complaints about this RDA

So let's talk about pros

First pro to this RDA I'll give for great kit contents. It has everything you need.

Second pro I'll give for top notch quality of manufacturing. Guys from HellVape did a great job

Perfect o-rings, everything spins very nice and comfy

A pro for coil installation. You simply drop the coils inside,

That's from there, the name actually appeared - Drop RDA

And tighten the coil leads by screws. And sometimes even cutting the leads is unnecessary

Cloud production

It has decent cloud production. This RDA chucks

Also, I'll give this RDA a pro for capacity. As I said in close ups - this RDA can hold an ocean of liquid

Comfortable adjustment of airflow and its position. TVC and Heathen tried hard and they've made something interesting. And again - adjustment is so smooth and comfy, great o-rings, I don't mind repeat it once more

I like the airflow adjustment in here

If it only was a little lower, damn

And last pro I'll give for BF option. Though if you will squeeze the bottle too hard, liquid may splash into your mouth, eyes, on your pants or whatever else

It could've been counted as nitpick and a for someone it's a con

Okayushki, folks

Let's talk about price. And the price is standard - this RDA cost 30$ on the internet

So some Chinese online-stores sells it for around 30$. I'll put few links in the description below this video

And I will say this - this price is great for this RDA. Great price for a great RDA, on which you are able to achieve nice flavor, which has very convenient coil installation, which has a huge liquid capacity, which has high quality and has extensive kit contents

And summing up I will say this - this RDA is great

But there is RDAs with better flavor

And at this point I'll be finalizing today's video

All you have to do is warm them up

this one weighs 2016g this one weighs 2020g

I've never had a chance to eat these bulkokee from costco until now

meat brings happiness don't it

alrighty its time to warm them up

these are the bulgalbi from costco

It's loaded with meat onion and gr. onion It's pretty heavy

I will now fry them on an oiled pan

all I gotta do is cook till its heated through

I had to split these into two batches

tadaa its all done

I topped it with some cooked/runny egg

It's super heavy itadakimasu

I have roughly three cups of rice here

The meat looks so yummy

It has thoroughly soaked up the sweet marinade It tastes so wonderful

With it being so full of flavor it really Makes you ravenous for rice

It also goes nicely with egg

Since all you have to do is heat it up its so EZ to make

the rice is so hot and steamy My fingers that are holding a bowl are so hot

I used Korean 'dashita' to make this miso soup This is one kilogram of oniony miso soup

its so flavorful and yummy

The meat is so tender and yummy

The marinade is especially delish

OMG its been sweltering the last few days I'm getting all sweaty from eating all of this

I've ran out of rice and now I will go and grab another helping

This is about 3 cups

I will now add some gochujang

The added sweet and spiciness is so yummy

Last mouthful itadakimasu

gochisosamadeshita The bulgogi from Costco with so EZ and yummy

It was very flavorful and made me really hungry for rice

Since it was already marinated it was super EZ to make
